I booked a room in hotel kings inn on 29th July through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 550₹ apart from 450₹ which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1000. They also refused to give me bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 550₹ as soon as possible. I have contacted oyo service multiple times but it is not worth contacting. Executives are only putting calls on hold for long hours and not responding. Resolve my issue as soon as possible.

    I have booked hotel with OYO app and provided the GST details in the app to get GST invoice to submit & claim the bills to my company against my travel expenditures. I have reached out to OYO call center few times and no support received. Call center forward the call to hotel manager and hotel manager says OYO is supposed to provide the invoice

      Hi.
      Booking ID PP4H7595

      I booked a suite room at Oyo 1116 G Silver hotels

      I was not allowed to check in immediately. The OYO exec then helped me check in and then I proceeded to my room.
      Once i got there, the condition of the room was very bad. Pan and puke spit everywhere and the stains were not gone. Bed sheets, bed cover pillows were full of soil marks. Wallpapers were hanging and damaged. I had gotten an allergic reaction due to this and i had appealed to oyo to give me a different property or a refund. OYO said they do not have a different property and they can only do 20% refund due to policy.

      I had moved myself away from the environment with my luggage giving they keys to the helper boy who came to check my room. I never told him Im checking out.
      Once i was done with my work i returned back to the hotel and asked for a photo of my register entry. To get due proof that I have checked in and I have taken cognizance of the room situation.
      The receptionist then proceeded to call his bus boys (goons) who took the register, striked my name and my partner's name and called us outsiders and that we are not allowed in the hotel anymore. Their reason for doing this is that I reported directly to OYO that the room was bad and not reached out to them first - which would lead to an escalation on them from OYO. All of this because they couldnt do their job.

      I require a full refund of my booking for my pathetic experience and the goon mannerisms that were displayed by the property staff.

        I have booked a oyo hotel on 17th April 2023.I paid it online. but the booking was cancelled from their side due to some issues of them. they have promised me the refund within 7 days. but they are not giving the money till now. and they are not responding to my calls either. They are just bluntly ignoring me. Their customer support is very rude and unsupportive.I am just tired of calling them, as if they know everything and they are resistant about not giving the money.

          Hello Team,
          I am Abhinav Samar, booked an oyo room and paid online (Pre booked) when I arrive to Hotel at 8pm, reception person not allowed checkin saying that I have paid online, they dont accept online payment. I could have to pay in cash to hotel. I tried calling Oyo customer care multiple times, but no one bothered. Few kept my call on hold, few disconnected the call. Since then I am struggling to get my refund Rs.473/-

            I booked the room on 26th of july for the 2 days ...and i cancelled it at 06:08 am on the same day .
            it was showing if you cancel the booking you get whole refund i have the screnshot whuch i cant attach here .later on i made a call to the customer care number they are saying you should have to cancel this on 25th of july then you get your refund .When i booked it on 26th how can i cancel this on 25th???

                I have requested for gst invoice for my booking where I booked in Oyo and payed at hotel. Then they didn't provide me gst invoice they said hotel will give but i booked in oyo so hotel is saying oyo will give. And finally i am not getting from anyone. When i ask in customer care they are sending me payment receipt without any tax details and telling me it is the gst invoice. This is against govt gst laws.

                      I have booked 2 hotel OYO rooms on 14thJuly 2023 for 15th July to 16th July through Makemy Trip.com, on my Office Meeting and have travelled all the way from Nellore, Andhrapradesh to Hyderabad, Telangana and reached on 15th to Hotel OYO Townhouse 1235 Jahnavi Group Located at 105/6 9th Phase Road, 64, Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, Hyderabad, Telangana 500085. After reaching Hotel they informed the booking has been cancelled and rooms are allotted to some one else. There was no communication regarding the cancellation neither from Makemy Trip nor the OYO nor the Jahnavi Group. I was literally stranded on the road for 2 hours. How can they be so ridiculous to allot rooms to someone after the the booking confirmation?. I have reached hotel around 12 40 PM on 15th July. They denied to give any other rooms after so much arguement still. They thought the customer will be helpless if the rooms are cancelled. The amount of agony, heated argument and time waste after travelling a sleepless night in my own car drive from Nellore to Hyderabad. There should be some stringent action against the Hotel, OYO and Makemy Trip platform for not informing me prior to reaching the destination about the cancellation. Just imagine a family with kids if stranded on road after travelling for 500 KMs. But i strongly believe on consumer forum platform, i will get some Justice which i got through this in the past complaints. This complaint is not for refund. I will get that anyways. This is due to lack of prior communication and negligence and improper responses from Hotel Owner and OYO.

                      Hope this platform will take stringent action against these peole for the pain i went through. Because of these people my meeting got delayed and went through so much of stress.

                        Hello I am one of the guest of who booked a room but then I tried to cancel because I didn't checked in and checked out for that particular day and rebooked another day for which I needed and then I am keep on taking follow ups for my refund of cancelled value and they are simply telling me over the call we have already initiated the refund money but unfortunately I haven't received yet. OYO people are simply cheating the and delivering the commitment whatever they're promising. They even deleted the details even too which is they even tamper with the booking details part and there's hardly any privacy or security in their app. I'll request the whosoever is reading this article not to book from OYO platform. And the booking id are mention here i.e. XTNL8386.

                          I had faced the issue with OYO in Bangalore multiple times, we booked Oyo for July 8th and 9th 2023 and done pre-payment also, on the day of check in the hotel, they denied the booking saying no rooms available. If rooms are not available how does this booking got confirmed. Cheating from Oyo side, this is the 3rd time happening from OYO, very irresponsible. Simply taking customers money and refunding after 14 days, also the recent refund not yet received. They are saying refund will take 7 to 14 working days.

                            I booked hotel room in Bangalore but Hotel Manager Denied by saying I have not listed my hotel in OYO. So you can't booked.
                            So I cancelled the Hotel on Same date after waiting for 2 Months yet didn't receive Refund.

                                  I had booked an OYO Room at Super OYO Townhouse 83601 from 24th June 2023 to 27th June 2023, and paid the full amount of ₹4118.00/- from my SBI Credit Card. But I was denied check-in saying the room was full in the Hotel, I contacted the Oyo consumer complaint and they canceled my Booking promising a full refund. The Oyo team also acknowledged that by mistake I was checked in from 25th June - 27th June and only 24thjune-25th June was canceled, the team even raised a ticket acknowledging their mistake. I have received only ₹1452.33/- and its been 15+ days that I haven't received the remaining ₹2665.67/- I have talked to customer care several times, but they just put off my complaint by saying it would soon be credited. I know the time of refund credit is very fast in SBI Credit card as I have been in contact with the SBI Cards team and it's agrave mistake and cheating from the OYO's end. I am complaining on this forum before filing a case in consumer court against OYO.

But the hotel denied check in and Oyo initiated a refund but I haven't received the amount yet even after 5 months. This is fraud/scam that Oyo is running and I found many people facing the same issue. Booking date: 22nd Jan

                                      I had booked this hotel through make my trip online app for a check-in date 19th May 2023. I paid the tariff amount INR 1037 to MakeMyTrip and booked my room. On the check-in date, the hotel first denied the check-in stating that their tariff is higher than what I had paid online and they want the extra money. I end up paying additional money to the hotel as I needed to rest and could run to look for another hotel. Makemytrip told me that they would refund the additional payment I made but the whole issue is with the hotel as they are running this scam. Also the hotel would not look into my booking before 12 pm afternoon. They do this so that the final cancellation window is passed and they will not be held liable to pay the refund the money back. This happened to me before as well at the same hotel on the check-in date 29th APR 2023. The hotel reception staff is very rude and arrogant. I had complaint about it then as well to make my trip but they do not take actions on such behaviour issues. The hotel always asks for more amount even when the property rates are discounted.

                                        I have made OYO booking at flagship the surbhi, mp nagar zone 2 behind patidar studio, huzur tahsil, bhopal for date 03 july 2023 to 04 july 2023 with booking id's PC280956 (Rs.910), As per mentioned in oyo online portal under booking but they have not provide me invoice for the same Rs 910/- i have paid through oyo app. Continuously trying to talk with oyo customer care but there is no resolution provided yet. People from hotel refuse to give me invoice because we are not walkin customers and payment/booking done through OYO App. So, my company now not reimburse the above amount, Very frustrating situation to me... please resolve my problem asap.
