Recently Approx 18 Days Before When I Had Visited Kolkata, I Booked A Hotel From Oyo App
But After Going To Hotel They Denied The check-in.
So I Had Called The Customer Care Executive And I Told Him To Cancel The Booking Because The Hotel Manager Is Misbehaving With me And Not Allowing me to check in .
But after some time, the Hotel manager told me To Cancel the Booking, The Full Refund Will Automatically Come Within 7-14 Days . So He Took My Phone And Cancelled the Booking.
After That I Had Booked The Hotel Offline In Kolkata.
So Within 2-3 Hours, The Amount of Rs 573 Has Arrived . But I Had Paid Rs 2173 In Oyo App. So I Posted the Tweet in X, And The Customer Care Called me .
Not A Single Update Was Given By Them And Asked
Aapne Wo Hotel Me Nhi Ruka to koi Dusre Hotel me ruke hoge na
I Told Yes
So they ask
Can you please Mail me the Invoice / Bill of that hotel which you booked offline. So I Did the Mail. 12 Days Had Passed, Till Now, I am Not Getting Any Update From Oyo.
Till Now The Refund Amount Hasn't Arrived.
Please Help Me . it Was My Hard Earned Money.
You Are The Only Last Hope For me .

    I booked a room on 7th Dec 2023 in the afternoon through their app, upon calling the hotel they said to cancel booking and don't do any payments as it will be not considered as valid booking and I cancelled that booking and made no further booking from the app. I called on their customer support automated call to cancel my booking (as it is the only way to cancel booking) and they just gave a automated message on call " thank you so much your booking has been cancelled and refund will be initiated in the next 5 working days". Which I assumed was the case and after cancelling the app was also not showing my booking past details. I was in the impression that the booking has been cancelled and refund will be initiated. After few days when I called the OYO customer support that refund has not been initiated, they said as you cancelled the booking after 9 am on 7th Dec 2023 we cannot initiate the refund, But how can I Cancel a booking I made in the afternoon for the say day before 9am in the past!! they claim that they provide cancelation policy while cancelling but they will also say to cancel booking you have to call their automated calling system, which is not going to tell you about any policy or show you any policy. And after cancelation they will complete remove any kind of history from the app for you to see it.

    This is complete nuisance when they are saying such unrealistic thing to do in termite get refund. according to they I should have gone in the past and cancel my booking by 9am 7th dec 2023 even before when I made the booking.

    After cancellation they removed the whole booking history from their app and website and you cannot find any data or results nor they send any message regarding the refund.

      I had booked Hotel Blue Berry from Oyo room for 01-Jan-2024, whose booking id is as follows, V35Z8078. After booking confirmation, when I went to check in the hotel, the hotel staff refused to give me the room. More Demanded money, and even said that our hotel will be run as per our rules and not as per OYO's rules, after that I had also talked about OYO customer care and hotel staff on conference call, but the hotel staff was adamant on their point. Well, then later Oyo customer care asked me to shift to another hotel, which was not possible for me, because my wife was unwell at that time, I asked Oyo care to cancel my booking. and asked me to return my advance amount but did not get any response from Oyo.

          After reaching Ahmedabad on December 23, 2023, My first call was for property manager at 7:53 He said he cannot confirm if I have booking . Then I called Oyo at 7:56 AM. They confirmed it and for verification they tried calling property manager. He did not pick their call.

          I called the hotel again at 8:18 AM and he said they removed their hotel from Oyo. If I want a room, I should come and pay for it .I informed the same to Oyo team at 8:19 AM, they tried calling them again but no answer.
          I told them that this is fraud taking place as they are not picking up the phone as this will verify my claim.
          Oyo rep Pradeep escalated my issue Ticket ID: [protected] | Ticket Type: SIG Escalations He told me full amount will be refunded since the hotel did not provide me accommodation and the company itself were not able to arrange for alternative accommodation.
          But they still charged 100% for cancellation.
          I am stressed out because I already had to shell out 1500 rupees to book a new hotel and now this. I want my money back.

            I have tried to book a hotel on oyo's application, the payment was successful, as it was clearly shown on the payment gateway. When it took me back to the booking section in oyos app, its not showing
            My money has been debited . I have contacted their so called customer service, using this number . And when i told them my issue, they keep asking me for my booking id. When i explain what happend, they say that they would speak to their superiors and keep me on hold, around 10 minutes later they cut my call without resolving the matter. This has seriously hindered my upcoming trip, as my money is gone and i got no place to stay. It is a pity that a company that wants to go public has such a mediocre service in terms of solving customer issues. I am attaching my transaction details as well as my call log with oyos customer support

              I am absolutely furious and frustrated with the horrendous experience I've had with OYO. I booked a hotel with them, and they canceled my reservation right before the check-in time. When I complained and requested a refund, they callously mentioned that the booking was non-refundable, despite the cancellation being initiated from their end.

              To make matters worse, they attributed the cancellation to a supposed technical issue with their IVR system. Is there any policy in the entire world where a merchant can cancel an order at their whim and still retain the consumer's hard-earned money?

              Dealing with OYO has been nothing short of a nightmare. It's been over 15 days since I reported this issue to the OYO team, and as a customer, I am still waiting for the money I paid for a service I never received.

              What's more, the hotel's ratings presented by OYO were a complete sham. The property I booked showed a 4.5-star rating on the OYO app, but in reality, it has a dismal 3.2 rating. I deeply regret not checking the reviews on Google before trusting OYO's misleading ratings.

              My booking number is KN994987, and the date of booking was November 29, 2023. I paid 1342/- for a booking that ended up being a complete disaster. I've come to realize that I am not the only one who has been scammed this way, as there are over 1000 customer reviews detailing similar experiences. It's baffling how this property has not been banned despite the numerous complaints.

              I demand an immediate resolution and a refund for this blatant disregard for customer trust and satisfaction.

                Greetings of the day!

                i have booked the oyo rooms from date 25th December 2023 to 28th December 2023
                I made the prepaid booking in the "oyo hotel collection o pearls inn near phoenix market City mall, kalyani nagar, Pune".I made a payment of the amount Rs.3591/-.
                After the booking made i called the hotel reception on 23 dec 2023 before arrival then they denied for the checkin that i will not give the room on said booking amount on the ground of low tariff. After that i have reported and complain about the same to the over the customer care of oyo.But i didn't received any resolution, shifting to other property is denied on the issues of some ratio is high.After doing several calls and complaints and gone through the waiting of so much time i got no resolution from the oyo.

                i felt cheated and the victim of false marketing. till now they havn't refunded my amount .One more interesting thing is that i haven't stayed at the hotel but they have marked successful check-in and checkout.
                till now whatever i have said, i have the evidences of all the bills and call recordings of customer care.i have the bills of the my stay on the said date in different hotel.

                so i want the my money back and proper justice with me and no any repeation of such incidents with any other custumers.
                so i appeal to the consumer forum to please look into the matter and resolve the issue ASAP.

                  I have experienced an issue while check-in that the hotel demanded extra charge to me and the rooms were dirty and washroom is too small, different from what we see on the app.
                  I have raised complaint on Oyo several times and even talked to their employee for several hours but they are refusing to initiate my refund which is ₹3591.

                        I had booked a hotel in Hyderabad and I was told to pay 10% amount of it in advance
                        Since, the customer care told me that I'll get a refund if I decide to cancel my booking, I proceeded to pay the 10% amount of the total amount
                        And now that I want to cancel my booking, the oyo app and the company is totally denying that any booking was done through my registered mobile number

                            I paid an amount throuth agoda site through online. After that i went to the hotel with my wife in rain from long distance .He has taken my id cards taken a photo, what ever check in formalities has done.
                            Then again he is asking 1200 rupees extra. I refused to give money..
                            Finally not provided the room.
                            So many suffered and lose their money and time because of these type of fradulated hotels.

                              We stayed in the downtown St Louis Oyo hotel this past weekend, November 10th thru Nov. 12th. The hotel is in serious need of complete remodeling and new lighting. The carpet is stained and wallpaper is old and peeling off the walls. Additionally, the parking garage is horrible with huge support columns and limited space to drive around them. Our garage key did not function and one time the car in front o[censored]s could not get out and we had to back up the steep ramp resulting in our passenger side mirror being knocked off. We had to go inside to get the keys fixed as there was not attendant. Additionally, we were not informed about the $25 per night parking fee until our arrival and only by a note on the desk. Our room keys quit working and when we went to have them rekeyed we discovered that we had been put in the wrong room. The evening front desk staff was not helpful or concerned with our issues. There were very few people staying at the hotel even on a weekend with a big event at the Enterprise Center. I kindly ask for your response to these issues.

                                Casually, I searched for my name Sai Rakindi in google. I was shocked to my review in oyo site. I'm not sure who added a review on my name and mostly one of my friends who went to Mysore trip and when I logged in my account, I see there is a review added on my name for Mysore accommodation. I tried deleting or raising a request to delete that review.

                                I request you to get it deleted as it is misusing my privacy.

                                    ‎I’m gonna start with the ONLY good thing I have to say about this establishment and it’s staff.
                                    Michael and Kristi are EXCELLENT !!! They in my opinion are way to good for this substandard low quality business!
                                    I rented for two nights, I HAD NO HOT WATER FOR THE TWO DAYS I STAYED!!! On a room I paid money to be in. 😡😡😡😡😡
                                    When I came back on my second night and went to the office to tell them I AGAIN HAD NO HOT WATER I was told by Cameron “that’s not my problem” Cameron SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB!! are you serious!😡
                                    So I go down in the morning and I go in SALINA (who could not even bother to look up from her computer ) didn’t say hi nothing I explained to her I had been here two days with no hot water and I needed to take a shower made a face and said “ok I’ll tell them” I waited as she did not even look up from her computer to ask what room or for her to offer an empty room for me to shower inI, i got no offer of another room and I’m still waiting for her to ask what room I was in so she could “tell them”! The disrespect of this SALINA and the total lack of ANY-KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND THE FACT THAT SHE WAS SNOTTY AND OFFERED NOTHING TO FIX THE ISSUE !! WHEN YOU SURLY TOOK MY MONEY IS DISGUSTING AND TOTAL BULL*#*#!!! SALINA SHOULD MOST DEFIANTLY NOT HAVE A JOB MUCH LESS HAVE A JOB DEALING WITH PEOPLE!!!
                                    AGAIN YOUR ONLY SAVING GRACE IN THIS PLACE ARE MICHAEL AND KRISTI, I will be calling the manager tomorrow morning and letting her know about her very sorry excuse for employees!!!

                                      I landed in Delhi on Friday morning and when I was searching for hotels oyo executive called me and asked me to book a hotel on my behalf, I told her that I wanted early check-in. regarding this, she talked to the hotel staff and she told me that I've talked to hotel management and they will give you a room but before that, you will pay us online so we can confirm your booking.
                                      Upon this, I paid them via Gpay and they sent me a booking confirmation via WhatsApp with the booking ID and everything. When I tried checking in to the hotel they simply denied me stating that the hotel was completely booked for marriage purposes and couldn't accommodate me so you go and talk to Oyo.
                                      I called Oyo and they said they were sorry and would book another hotel for me with the same charges, I refused and asked for a refund. After talking to 8-9 executives, the Last executive told me that she processed my refund and it would be reflected in your account in 24 hours. But after one day they sent me mail that they couldn't refund my amount because I didn't show up at the hotel for check-in.
                                      I've got bills for another hotel where I check in because of all this drama in double rates and the Oyo must've all the conversation recording for my phone number. The hotel where I was denied also has the recording as well that I was there and denied the check-in.

                                      Right now Oyo executives are playing with my patience level and not helping at all. They're simply cutting the call by saying hello, hello, hello.

                                      This is not helping at all. Please help me get my refund from them ASAP.
