I booked two Rooms in OYO townhouse located in Townhouse 1049 Super Two Premium, Plot No 157 Krishna Nagar Colony Pahadia, Varanasi. When I checked into the hotel, I was provided only one room stating that we don't have two rooms available right now. You can go around and once you come back in the evening, we will provide two rooms. When we returned, we were provided two and to my surprise they were both found in poor conditions like they have never been cleaned. All around the washroom and room, there were paan stains spit everywhere. When I informed the reception, they provided another set of rooms in shabby condition. I am appalled to see the condition of such reputed stays. I raised the complaint through customer care as well but still no resolution.

    I've booked an oyo room around 2:00 am named as townhouse 587 sector 19.
    I've talked to an executive of the OYO who told me to do the payment of 187rs which was a token money and I've told to do the full payment when I check out from the hotel and then someone will come outside to provide us the keys. I booked the room while I was present outside the hotel, and no one has came outside neither the manager nor any staff. I waited and talked the executive manager and every other person related to the room but I didn't receive any respond regarding keys to my booked room. The executive was such an absurd who fooled us at night when I was not alone but I was with my family. Who would have paid to us if anything happened to any o[censored]s?. I want my money back and I'm not gonna recommend this nonsense ridiculous hotels to any of the others ever in my life. Also I request you to close such kind of OYO which donot take their customer's safety seriously.

      I had booked Oyo rooms @ Oyo Red Velvet, Bangalore (Landmark: Naveen Kala Showroom, Marathahalli Bridge, Opposite to GRT Jewellery) on[protected]. In the afternoon of the same day I was informed that the room confirmation is intact. At evening, just sometime before I was about to check-in, I got a message stating that the room has been cancelled due to some reasons. My booking ID: REUQ9374.
      I was informed that the refund for the same has been initiated and I would receive a confirmation message for the same. However, I haven't received any such message.
      It is quite disappointing considering the bad service from a reputed firm. My contact ([protected]@gmail.com)

        Hello our paid booking order was cancelled by Oyo hotel at their end.Oyo assured me that we will get refunded 100% amount with in 7 days .But the refund status has been getting failed multiple times. Customer care just keeps up in hold and disconnect our call.
        Please look into this at your end.

          I made a hotel booking through OYO and made entire payment which was inclusive of GST tax. When asked for gst invoice, they aksed me about my GST details but being a student having no company, I don't have any GSTIN number and when I tried to explain this to them all they told me was that they won't provide me GST invoice in that case.
          I clarified this with CBIC helpline and they explained that any supplier charging GST from customer will have to provide GST invoice when asked for. If the supplier doesn't provide then it is considered a fraud.
          OYO has time and again proved to be a fraud company, doing nothing but disappointing customers.
          I have had pathetic experience where I have literally made 10 calls a day to OYO helpline and they just kept delaying and ignoring my request.

            we are get message & link from oyo app. Then we are going to location address but do not available hotel in the address.
            I complain four and five times on mob. No.[protected]. But didnot give proper answer and did not get refund rs.1091.So pls do something about and get refund in shortly time.

              Hi,

              On Oct 12th, I paid an amount of 4, 805 for OYO rooms. First I selected a hotel and applied an offer where the offer is only applicable if the payment is done through UPI only. Then I clicked on pay now, it got redirected to my default UPI payment app- phonepe. There I paid 4, 805/- and in OYO it showed something like booking successful. But after that no booking was shown in OYO app. Hence no booking ID.

              I contacted customer service. But they don't even know the basic thing that no booking ID will get generated if there is no booking confirmation from Oyo. So I made a tweet regarding this issue. I got an accurate reply from them. They contacted me via mail and phone call. They identified my transaction as it got reflected to them. Thanks to Twitter(X) handle.

                My name Sachin ps. I booked an Oyo from oct 07 to oct 08 .l lost the amount but booking not confirmed and my rs 1294 amount gone .I called customer care they raised a refund request. But I didn't get refund till now. I paid through phone pe. I called many times but they didn’t have the refund.Kindly issue the refund. And resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                  I had booked room in Oyo 78953 Flagship Ram Leela Rameswaram from Sep 30 2023 to October 2 2023 by paying 4746 through Gpay. My booking ID is[protected]. When I went to the hotel they denied my stay saying that no rooms are available and cancelled my booking. When I called the customer support they disconnected my call making me wait for more than 30 mins. I nearly tried 10 times but no response. I have no proper details of my refund from OYO. This is a big scam happening now. Kindly please help me from this fraud.

                      Flagship hotel paradise inn, #7, Nvr complex srg Dental college Road, Munnekolala, Marathahalli, Bangalore 560037

                      I had faced the issue with OYO in Bangalore multiple times, we booked Oyo for July 8th and 9th 2023 and done pre-payment also, on the day of check in the hotel, they denied the booking saying no rooms available. If rooms are not available how does this booking got confirmed. Cheating from Oyo side, this is the 3rd time happening from OYO, very irresponsible. Simply taking customers money and refunding after 14 days, also the recent refund not yet received. They are saying refund will take 7 to 14 working days.

                        Hi, Recently I was trying to book a hotel room on oyo app, my booking got processed and amount got deducted from my bank account but no booking was created.

                        I talked to oyo staff to refund the amount, but they said that there's no booking ID available so we can't refund it. But the amount got deducted from my bank account and no booking ID was there on the app, so how can I give them a booking ID. I have a solid proof of payment, I have paid to Oyo Rooms.

                          Dear Sir,

                          This complaint is regarding hotel booking through oyo app for Booking ID: JLZC8750 on the property name: OYO Flagship Le Pondy Paradise
                          i had paid inr 926 for my hotel booking on 17/09/2023. but i was denied check-in by the hotel siting the reason that amount pais is very less and they asked for additional money . i contacted OYO team and raised the complaint on same day.
                          The OYO team had given an assurance that within 48 to 72 hours if they couldn't validate the issue they would provide the re-fund . But after 5 days now they are saying as per the investigation by the ground team I had already checked in and checked out the property. I had to undergo mental harassment for the past 5 days to resolve the issue. After 5 days the OYO team had a false claim that I had stayed in the property and could not process a refund .
                          In that case i asked oyo team to provide all the proof which i gave during check in
                          1. Address proof which i submitted during check in
                          2.copy of the register which i had signed during check in
                          They have a false claim that i stayed in hotel and rejecting my refund

                            Hi,

                            I am writing this to bring out that Oyo Hotels has scammed me by making me pay twice for the same booking and has now refused to refund me any amount.

                            I booked a room in Oyo Townhouse 1118 SR Nagar, Hyderabad through Oyo app.

                            When I reached the hotel, the hotel staff denied my check in citing some technical issue and asked me to pay at the hotel again. Using their UPI scanner. Saying oyo will refund the previous amount.

                            When I complained about it to Oyo’s helpline they said they would refund me the 2nd payment that I made to the hotel.

                            Everyday they would request for 24 hr time to resolve my issue and now finally they have refused to pay up even though I have submitted enough evidence that I payed twice for the same booking.

                            This is not just my case.

                            I am attaching a link where you can see how others are complaining about the exact same issue.

                            I am aslo attaching proofs of double payment to Oyo Townhouse 1118 also operating as Subham Hotels.

                              I had a booking on your property from 3rd sep to 7th Sep and during checkout time the property owner was not providing the Tax Invoice copy and told me to contact the OYO / Agoda team.

                              I had tried to reach out to OYO through the app / service dept but not able to get the invoice copy.

                              There was an healthy discussion done between Agoda team with their Manager, he assure to provide the invoice copy but negative response was found when interact directly to OYO through mail.

                              They are tied up with the property and make the booking, but at the end the property was charging additional amount from the customer and not provide the invoice copy to the customer . Though it was escalated to the OYO team, they only passing the ball from payment gateway site.
                              Even though they have the details, they only denied the customer citing the payment gateway base like their tie up property owners.

                                  I had booked OYO Townhouse 1072 Rks Prestige, Hyderabad on 14th July (Booking ID :X7Y35428) and cancelled the booking on July 17 2023 (Ticket ID: [protected]). I had paid Rs.2877 as advance.
                                  As per the cancellation policy cancellations before 9AM, July 2023 was 100% refundable.
                                  However I have not received the refund amount yet.

                                  I complained to the customer care many times via phone and emails but did not receive any response.

                                    Booking.com platform with Oyo Rooms

                                    Booked Collection O 81766 Varahi from 10 Aug 2023 to 14 Aug 2023 through housing.com. Made complete payment in advance to confirm booking of property as per mail from OYO.

                                    Reached Property on 10 Aug 2023 at 17.00 hrs with spouse. Property informed they do not accept online booking. Why didn't OYO or housing.com know about this ?

                                    I called the Customer Service Desk and explained the situation. They tried to call the property but without success. They didn't arrange an alternate accommodation either. It was 18.00 hrs and getting dark. No sense of customer empathy whatsoever. I insisted on they refunding the amount. Ticket was raised and Customer Service Desk sent mail that they have cancelled the reservation and have initiated full refund. All this by 18.15 hrs on 10 Aug. Customer Service Desk assured me that I'd get the amount in 10-14 days.

                                    Today is 2 Sep. Haven't received money yet. Contacted housing.com. Also provided proof of Oyo cancelling booking on 10 Aug and confirming they initiated refund. However, this is the mail I received.

                                    When I contacted the number mentioned, there is an automated voice that mentions the booking has been cancelled and call is ended.

                                      Hi,
                                      I made a booking with OYO for[protected] to[protected]. The OYO hotel asked me for extra amount to check-in and the OYO customer care cancelled the booking for me promising me refund. I even got an email saying that the refund has been generated but i haven't got any refund till date. Nor do they pick up my calls for this issue. I am always on longs holds with the customer care.
