We had purchased a 2 ton AC Split – model # PANASONIC CS-US 24SKY-1/2.00 TON SPLIT AC, Bill Date 15.04.17, Amount Rs 53, 900.00 – from a reputed Dealer called M/s Great Eastern Appliance Pvt. Ltd., Narendrapur, Kolkata. After giving repeated reminders the AC is installed on 4.05.2017. But after installation, we noticed that the AC is not working & cooling has not done.The installation person even took Rs 5050 for the purchase of extra items required for installation but failed to provide with any bill or document for the same. I called the Great eastern customer care (5th April’2017) & lodge a complain against its center and a technician came the next day (6 April’2017) giving repeated reminders to check. He told us that this is a case of ‘Leakage of AC Gas’. For our understanding, he explained that something has gone wrong at the time of installation. The same was installed by PANASONIC INSTALLATION SERVICE([protected]). But again after 1 day the AC failed to function properly. We paid top price for a superior product. I did not choose to buy a budget brand where I am prepared to compromise on the viewing experience and product longevity. It is completely PANASONIC’s responsibility of the Product Failure and do a replacement / installation job to my satisfaction at no cost. But even after so many phone calls today they are not at all cooperate & giving support to us. We have decided to take up this case legally now and approaching the Consumer Forum to get things sorted out with Panasonic. I am lodging an online complaint here as well and would appreciate if some help can be obtained from any online consumer forum as well.

    Hi,

    I have got really bad experience with a mnc like panasonic. Pathetic customer service. Bought a plasma tv just 3 years back and suddenly it stop working, trying to get through customer service from last almost 2 weeks but not getting any proper response. Today got a call from customer care stating that a part of tv got damaged which is not available now and thus have to replace the tv with 75% depreciation. That means a tv of panasonic is not even going to work for 3 years, that the life of a branded tv???
    Government should ban panasonic from india for selling such bad quality products and that too at an expensive premium price.
    Really pathetic experience, i request everyone not to go with panasonic for any consumer electronics product.
    Worst experience a consumer can ever have!!!
    If someone in panasonic reading this, please help us out with a proper solution so that trust can be maintain otherwise it is a life time ban for us:

      I bought new panasonic led tv th-43d450d from amit enterprises on paytm on 15 april 2017 invoice no 16507. After 20 days there is no picture on tv. Panasonic complaint no r[protected], engineer said that tv panel has issue so panasonic will repair the tv.
      Panasonic cheating customer by selling old stock in market.
      Very bad experience with panasonic we could not enjoy our summer holiday. Government should ban such cheater from marker. Never buy any panasonic tv. I don’t think tv will work after their warranty is over
      Nobody listen so chose good brand and good vendor i have wasted lot of energy with panasonic.

      Here I face too many problem in my phone. Then I submitted my phone is dead and gone to your customer care bt your service is not satisfied. They delayed to deliver my phone on time.         Respected sir/madam,
        Our air conditioner is not working properly. If we call to mechanic no proper response. Nearly they visited my home 4 to 5 times just opening the box and cleaning this is only process they were doing. The mechanic came to my home to remove the ac and he going to take for service he did't bring a secure driver. See your service people still now he did't came to my home.

          My panasonic mobile gd25c display was defective i summited my mobile on 26 april to your service center i pic solution preet vihar delhi till date i have not received any communication from them and their phone is always not reacable ialso tried to contact your rm mr kuldeep raina but he also didn't pickup my phone my phone is in warranty imi no is [protected] pls look into the matter and oblige.             Very bad costomer service.. It's been more than a week i have been calling them for installation they say it will be done today but never get a call from service engineer.. After that they gave service centre number but the manager doesn't pick the call.. Horrible service...

            It's been more than a week now.. I have not bought tv for demo purpose.. Very ignorant customer care department..

              i was given my Panasonic Smarphone Eluga A2 for service here in patna serice center on 21st of April 2017, the Patna Service center told me that i will get my phone after 7 days, but after 7 day when i call him they told me that my phone is still in delhi & they have no update that when my phone move from delhi,
              then I call to Panasonic customer care toll free no, they checked my status & told me that I will get my phone in next 7to15 day, in this time i was called 5times on toll free number & every time they promise me that i will get my phone in next 7 to 15 days,
              now its cross 26 days & still they are on same track same wording, & still they not have any answer any update on my phone,

              now i m tired & want my phone back ASAP or return my money, i lost my trust on Panasonic, I was also contact Panasonic on his Facebook page, they are also doing the same thing, plz check Panasonic smart phone facebook page reply, below i am sharing that link, in that you got all information regarding my issue,

                I purchased panasonic ac 1.5 ton back in apr 2016. I found that cooling effect is not upto the mark in 2nd week of apr 2017 within warranty period. So i requested for service maintenance which was taken care by after multiple follow ups and free of cost as it is within warranty. The technician cleaned the machine.. Done deal... It was okay. Right from next day cooling is completely off. I raised complaint on phone (R[protected] so that someone can look at it and after continuos follow ups for 10 days, request was closed automatically on may 10 2017. When i called up and complained, technician was sent after 3 days and he mentioned gas is out and i will be charged for it. I was trying to tell that issue occurred during warranty and that first technician who did service maintenance is supposed to identify this but thay dont listen to me. Now i have to pump out 3000 rupees within 1 year from the product purchase. Is this really worthy for us to spend money time on purchasing panasonic product which has probably lowest quality components?

                  I have brought an air-condition unit from meenakshi fan house madurai tamilnadu a/c model cu-kc18sky3r-1on[protected] vide invoice no mdu1-17/[protected] dt.[protected]. After so many follow-up and phone calls they have installed the unit on[protected]. But after that the cooling effect is very low and your supervisor has attend to it and informed that some more gas to be added to get cooling. It is hardly seven days how can we accept to repair & refill the gas of a new unit. So kindly replace the unit and arrange to supply a new unit. Also instruct the dealer to replace the old unit and supply a new unit. Kindly help us in this regard awaiting your early action and reply. Thanks

                    I purchase 1.5 tonn window ac date 12.5.17 from reliance digital store (Logix-noida sector 35) with installation free by the name of amit kumar shrivastava ([protected]). At 13 morning i receivd ac and 14th evening 5 pm engineners came for installation. When he open he find that fan has already broken. I discussed with panasonic service centre and reliance digital they told to me that ac will be replaced within 48 hours. Today is 16th may there is no any updation regarding replacment nor service center nor reliacne digital store. Reliance digital store says we are waiting for brand approval from mr. Ashish kolhekar... They are playing mail and mail since last 2 days. Here i am suffering... Now i am thinking that i have taken a wrong decision to by a panasonic brand... I am dis cussing with mr. Anjani mo. No. [protected]) and mr. Agraj ([protected]). Till date i didnt receive any concrete response from any one for replacement. Looking for positive response and new product delivery and installation by maxim tomorrow..

                      Automatic water drainage complained twice to customer care and onces to the service centre but trie n error done by ur engineer 3 times and he also replaced one and taken 850 +350 on his previous visit but still the problem remains the same washing machine not yet in working condition. So we request u to send some well qualified engineer for the repair work

                        Both of them assured me that since their technicians were unable to rectify the fault, they will be sending the senoirmost technician today to rectify the fault.

                        Sir/Madam,

                        Yesterday, on 13th May 2017 a new technician came to rectify the fault. After trying for around 90 minutes, he agreed that the AC does not cool properly and that the AC needs to be replaced as it has some manufacturing defect.

                        After saying this he left and told us that he will talk to his seniors and do the needful.

                        On the same very day at 11:49 PM I received an SMS from PANASONIC :

                        "Dear customer, your service request R[protected] has been completed".

                        I can't understand why Panasonic, the reputed company is doing this.

                        Please replace / rectify the AC at the earliest. What is the use of your panasonic new AC if we are unable to use it in summers or should I throw this AC and buy some other reputed brand for this summer?

                        IT IS ABSOLUTE WRONG.

                        The technician tried but till date he has not been able to rectify the fault. Now Mr. Arvind Goel (the owner of the service centre) on 16th May 2017 at 7:12 pm has requested me that since they were unable to rectify the fault, they will be taking the AC unit at their place and there they will try to rectify the problem.

                        I can't understand HOW DID YOU GET THE CONFIRMATION that the problem has been resolved???

                        Till date the problem has not been resolved. In fact they are unable to rectify the fault. According to the panasonic technicians, it is a manufacturing problem and the AC needs to be replaced.

                          I have called the customer care on 27th April 2017 at 2:45 PM to schedule 2nd service of my AC. The AC person came on 30th April 2017 in evening around (19:00 Hrs), on 3rd after I registered for 2nd service, what a quick service Panasonic is giving.

                          Then we he did servicing and guided me to clean the filter every 10 -15 days if we have heavy dust in our area.

                          Yesterday (12th May 2017) in evening I was cleaning the outer flap of the AC with wet cloth and I noticed that the flap is not stable from right end. Then I further checked and found that the lock is broken which was fine prior my last service (On 30th April 2017). You will not be able to find until you touch the flap he (Panasonic engineer) did it so cleverly.

                          So the person visited last time broke the lock of outer flap of my AC. Who will fix it now ?
                          And when I call to customer care (PATHETIC) they do not know the ASM (Area service manager) of my area and given me the number Sanjeevan instead of Mr. Tomar. so bad that customer need to chase!!!

                          And when I called Sanjeevan, he said I have to follow up with Tomar. I asked him to discuss internally with ASM but he denied. Even when I said that I will not give your positive feedback as I am really pissed off. He said that he doesn’t care as this is out of scope of his work.

                          No one is taking ownership and at the end customer is suffering and the free service is also outsourced and so do not care what all customer is suffering even after paying heavy amount during the time of purchase.

                          Bunch of Crooks are running the company I did BLUNDER to purchase Panasonic product.
                          Will never suggest anyone to purchase such low class product.

                          I want that Panasonic to fix my flap which got damaged by their servicing engineer.

                          Today 15th May 2017 another engineer (Kishan Kumar) visited my home to check the AC and could not identify from where it is broken until they touched the outer cover/flap.
                          Same thing he (Kishan) communicated to their service center but they denied and said they will fix it on chargeable basis as customer has to report any issue within 48 hours after engineer visit.
                          Now, their own engineer confirmed that by having a look they could not identify from where it is broken then how customer will get to know. SO PATHETIC PANASONIC!!!
                          Now, who will be responsible for all this and why will customer has to pay for mistake done by Panasonic engineer.

                          Today 15th May 2017, I got a call again from another no. +[protected] at 20:42 and caller was representative himself as Deepak from Panasonic and I was explaining him the entire scenario but call got disconnected.
                          Then I tried calling on the same no. +[protected] and Savan or sawant picked the call, I asked him to transfer the call to Deepak as I was explaining the issue to him but he said no one called from here.
                          It’s been an hours I am sitting here and no one called, you are lying. They are saying liar to me.
                          Shame on you Panasonic team!!!
                          I AM COMPLETELY SHOCKED WHAT PANASONIC WANT TO DO HERE.
                          They are harassing the customer without providing any support or permanent solution to concern which I have raised.

                          I have the logs with and if you need I can shared as well. Such a big liar they are!!!

                          My service request – R[protected] has been cancelled stating that customer refused to pay service charge to fix the issue (as the plastic parts does not cover under warranty).
                          Is there anyone who can take against these crooks or these websites are just for wasting the time.
                          I am updating my case on daily basis even doing night shifts and it is very difficult to spare time for this frustrating part.

                          CAN YOU GUYS DO ANYTHING ON THIS!!!

                          If not atleast let me know so what I can approach to consumer court.
                          My fridge isn't cooling. Suspect the rubber isn't good

                            This is my reply to this last email, dated 12/05/2107.
                            This, following the abruptly ended conversation with you.
                            Very unprofessional.

                            The complaint was referred to you for arbitration and you did nothing for this customer, in the form of explanation or follow up.
                            You did not inspect my house to see the work nor did you understand the nature of the complaint, despite repeated request.
                            If you cant get your feet or hands dirty, you should not promise or work in customer based industry.

                            Panasonic, Chennai took 10 days to install two air cons in my house. (29th April to 8th May)
                            My query is simple...
                            Why did it take so long?
                            How can you justify this quality of work? Is there no accountability?

                            You can answer both only after formal inspection of the work, you outsourced. Very poor quality, which you must take responsibility for.
                            You have sided with Mr Arunkumar, who is yet to see the ? completed work, which to me is bias and unacceptable, as far as complaint procedures go.

                            Panasonic India, has let this customer down big time, and has done nothing to get the respect or seek the customer's approval of the work done.
                            This to me beggars belief, that a multi national corporation can behave like this without any accountability.

                            As Panasonic has not completed the work to my satisfaction as promised and not explained the huge delay and inconvenience caused to me.
                            I mandate that this issue be highlighted to senior management in Panasonic, India, as this complaint, as far as I am concerned, is not resolved.
                            You owe the customer a better service and an explanation for the substandard and delayed work.

                            Attaching the complaint directed to you on 3/05/2017, for your perusal, which sums up all the sub standard work done.

                            As regard the other air con service, I will liaise with Jayam &Co who installed the air con, which begs the question - who is responsible for the guarantee - Panasonic or Jayam & Co or Vasanth & Co?

                            This email is following the compliant to Mr Satish R, GM, Panasonic, Chennai, 3 days ago.

                            I have not had a reply or explanation for this complaint, and as the customer involved, this issue is not closed.

                            I have perused the complaints website for Panasonic and astonished to see the number of complaints and worse, the number unresolved.
                            Mine is just added on this list o[censored]nresolved ones.

                            The last time, I request the senior management to front up and explain the following..
                            - Why 10 days to install 2 air cons by Panasonic?
                            - Why no response to customer feed back to quality of work in his house?
                            - How can Mr Arunkumar, Sales manager, Panasonic, make a promise and give his word about quick installation, and not follow it up?
                            - Lastly, if Mr Arunkumar can call the customer personally and convince him to buy the product, why has he not taken the responsibility personally to heed this customer's complaint, thus far.

                            Panasonic India, has failed to provide a quality service to this customer and has done nothing to resolve this complaint, but closed it prematurely.
                            This is not acceptable.

                              Sir/madam,

                              I had purchased a Panasonic 1 Ton Window AC from Navrang

                              Electronics, Delhi-110092 on 5th June 2016.

                              From day one the AC was not cooling properly. Last year in July 2016

                              the technician came and checked the AC. He agreed that the AC was

                              not cooling prop erly and told me that the AC needs servicing. He

                              serviced the AC (DRY SERVICE). He assured us that now there will be

                              no problem.

                              The problem remained the same-the new Panasonic AC wasn't

                              cooling properly. In the other rooms I have LG and Voltas window

                              ACs. Their cooling is superb.

                              Now this year, on 8th May 2017 again I complained about the "cooling

                              problem" vide complain no. R[protected]. No one came till date.

                              On 11th May 2017 again I have complained about the same problem

                              vide complain no. R[protected].

                              WHY IS THE PANASONIC AC NOT COOLING PROPERLY? IS IT A

                              MANUFACTURING DEFECT? If it is a manufacturing defect, then

                              please change the AC.

                                Dear sir
                                As i have not received a specific response, i write again to remind you of the service rendered to this customer, thro the previous emails.
                                Panasonic thro' its employees in chennai, has let this customer down and you owe him an explanation and set things right, from the recent air con installation.
                                The installation took 10 days, was messy, faulty and still today incomplete.

                                Besides the above problem, your service people are also not responding to service request for 3 panasonic air cons installed in jan 2017, where the remote control is faulty and is with in the guarantee period.
                                Looks like this is within the remit of mr arunkumar and mr anandhan, in the sales team, who were responsible for the installation problems, mentioned in the previous e mails.

                                If i do not get a reply by email or a call from panasonic regarding the the issues above, i take it that you are not interested in honoring the contract between panasonic and me the customer, when purchase and installation of these machines were made.

                                Look forward to a professional enquiry into all of the above issue at the earliest.

                                    I purchased panasonic led tv 55 inches model no. Th-55c300dx on may 30 2016. Within one year i had the remote replaced thrice. The led screen had a line on the left hand side. The technician came and replaced it for me. Within one month again the line has come on left handside. I want a replacement as i have paid 71k for this product and have received a defective unit. The seller is ezone at malad infiniti mall mumbai.

                                      HDMI and USB ports stopped working around 10th April 2017 and I logged a repair request with Panasonic via Job number R[protected]. Mr. Gyanendra, one of their techicians visited me and confirmed that the motherboard controller unit is shorted and the whole motherboard will need to be replaced. I have asked for the remplacement and am ready to pay for the new part, however no one has contacted me for over 2 weeks now and Mr. Gyanendra's phone is no longer reachable even after several tries. When I called Panasonic again they told me that the Job has closed successfully. I paid Rs. 75000 for a brand new TV only 3.5 years back and they are not able to provide a major part for the TV. Post sales service is too poor for being able to call Panasonic a reliable consumer brand. I have complained again now and waiting for someone to help me

                                        We would like to throw some light on Panasonic Service Team who is fooling people a lot and I am one of the Victim who is still going round & round.
                                        My Andriod Panasonic Eluga switch Model phone went dead on 10th of March 2017 which was submitted same day to Panasonic Care "Jai Maa Enterprise" in Rohtak, Haryana.
                                        I was given a Job Sheet number KJASPHR128317PI22569 with a Turn around time of 15 days. In between I approarched them twice but there was no satisfactory response from their side & I was given a Customer care Toll free number for further enquiry. I called them & narrated the entire story but the answer I got from Customer Care Representative that Jai Maa Enterprise is not anymore Service center for Panasonic now. Their license has already been cancelled which was very surprising to me. I was told that My phone was not submitted to Panasonic service center yet.Later I received a call from Jai Maa Enterprise who offered a lower model used phone as a replacement offer which I denied to receive. Its been more than two months now & I am going round & round but no one is helping me neither Service center nor Panasonic Customer Care. Its a nightmare for me.
                                        I want my same Phone as soon as possible. I am sure my this little complaint will open up Panasonic's ears & they will realise my frustration that I am going through.

                                        Sir,
                                        I have problems with my Panasonic Eluga phone of network. In rural areas other Android phone shows network but this Panasonic Eluga i2 not shows . Help to resolve this issue.
