Dear Mr Sharma,
Thank you for writing to us and giving us an opportunity to help you.
This is with reference to your e-mail dated 23 May 2018.
We must clarify that the credit card is only a mode of payment. When a valid debit instruction is received, we are obliged to make the payment to the Member bank of the respective Merchant Establishment towards the transactions debited in your card account.
As per our records, we wish to inform you that, you had made a transaction of INR 535.87 against M/s. Paytm Medlife on 19 April 2018. We had received valid debit instruction and that is why the amount was debited to your card vide Acquirer Reference Number 15240588110000000001650.
Hence, we request you to contact the merchant by quoting the above mentioned Acquirer Reference Number (ARN). We request you to revert us if you find any discrepancy.
Please feel free to write back to us for any further support. We will be happy to assist you.
We assure you of our best service at all times.
Yours sincerely,
On behalf of Standard Chartered Bank
