I ordered a mobile phone, Swipe Konnect 5.1 (Black) from Paytm on 26th Feb 2017 via their order no. [protected]. The mobile was to be delivered to my brother in law, Mr. Kawaljeet Singh on his address:

Instead of the mobile phone, they have delivered to him a box full of scrap books. After numerous mails to them the issue has still not been resolved. Here is the sequence by sequence account of what happened

1) I first complained to them about the issue on 2nd March 2017 when my brother in law received a box full of scrap instead of the mobile phone. In response they asked me to send them an Empty Shipment Undertaking Form. On 4th March I sent them the form duly filled and also sent them the 2 snapshots of the packet we received.

2) I got their reply on 4th March that the form is wrongly filled and the " name, address and containing is incorrect" and I need to send them " the images of paytm polybag barcode serial number, inner packaging and share the weight of the shipment along with the packaging on digital weighing scale machine". I complied and sent them the new form again on 6th March 2016 and now also added the snapshot of the weight of the package. I also informed them that there was no polybag as such and whatever we received we sent already.

3) on 9th March they again sent me a form asking me to send it again "share the images of paytm polybag barcode serial number". This time I informed them that two times over the phone and now also I have marked the same in the form, that there was no poly bag just the box and seal of Paytm on it, the snapshot of which is already enclosed with, from both sides, from one side reflecting the barcode, shipping address and the other side which is open with books in it."

4) On 11th March I received the following reply that now the issue will be resolved finally: "We will ensure that we fix the issue for Swipe Konnect 5.1 (Black) against the Order [protected]. We have already escalated this case with the seller and courier partner. And will be coordinating to get a speedy resolution for you as soon as possible."

5) On 12th March, I again received their following reply: " I would like to inform you that I have already forwarded your issue to our logistic/seller department for further investigation and I will get back to you soon with the better resolution." I was relieved very much that they are working on the issue and this will get resolved now.

6) Everything was fine here and no mention of the customer undertaking form was done in the previous mails. But on 14th March, I again received their reply in which they first lied calling me and then again pointed mistakes in the form thereby making me fill it again and send it to them again. Following is their reply: "I tried calling you several times on your registered mobile number But unfortunately same was not reachable. I will do my best to work with you to resolve your issue. I understand you have a concern regarding your order [protected]. In the undertaking that you have shared with us you have mentioned that outer box was not delivered in intact condition. Please share few images of the outer box from where you have found same in damage or tempered condition."

7) On 15th they again sent me a mail asking me to share a few images of the tempered box: "we request you to share the images of the outer box where you have found same in damage or tempered condition so that we could proceed further". In this mail they again lied to me that they tried calling me on the phone. I sent them the mail: "For full two days there was not a single call on my mobile. Please call me on 9811..., 925... How many times do I have to tell you that there are no more images with us. Whatever we had has been mailed to you. Please provide me the resolution ASAP now."

8) Since that time nobody called me and informed me as to what they are doing. I again registered a fresh complaint against the fraud and then on 3rd April I received a call from one lady asking me to send the form again. I denied sending them any form now and asked them the resolution. Instead, she cut my phone down. Still in god faith, I sent them the form now again in the afternoon looking after various fields to see any error on my part so that I get any resolution atleast now.

9) on 3rd April, I received a mail from them again stating that it was from me that they did not get any revert after 16/03/2017. This is the mail: We would like to inform you that we have requested you to share the correct undertaking from you on 16/03/2017. As we did not get any revert for your end so, at this point we are unable to consider your request as we required undertaking within 24-48 hours of the requested time so that we could proceed with the investigation."

10) I again got a mail on 3rd April 2017. The mail read as follows: "I am Shweta and I am writing this email to inform you that your concern of empty box received against the order [protected] has been resolved. Also, our system encountered multiple requests generated from your end for the same concern for this order. Please note that resolution has been communicated to you for the case 22969308. Hence, we are closing this case from our end.

So Inspite of my numerous mails to them and complying with them at every point, I have not been given any solution. I have enclosed the photographs of the box we received and also filled in 4 times their customer undertaking form but they have not been able to provide me with any resolution. If I raised a new complain they would close it saying that the case is already pending. No one is there to listen to the kind of fraud has happened to me. I had waited and waited for over a month, suddenly one lady called me after I again raised a complaint with them on April 2nd and she informed me that I needed to send the form again duly filled. I still in good faith sent the form on 3rd April 2017 with the result that they closed the case altogether. I simply cannot understand how this fraud company is working and expanding their base. I look forward to a resolution through you for my heard earned money which has got waste due to them.

    Sir I have placed an order on 28th march 2017 amounting to atotal of 600/- which were instantly paid by me via PAYTM wallet.
    Due to some reasons the seller cancelled the order on 03rd MARCH 2017 and I received the message displaying that refund has been added to my PAYTM wallet.
    As of now on 04th march my PAYTM wallet is still empty.
    Kindly do the needful

After contacting you, u said that, transaction is completed from ur side, but Jio team said that they didnt get any recharge . So, please solve this issue, and its happening 2nd time with me .         I have added the money to the paytm wallet account, when i add the money from my bank account, it got deducted but it is not added to paytm wallet.

        As i also confirmed the same from the bank, they said money is already transferred to paytm account. but i could see no change.
        Tried reaching your dedicated customer service, who never responded either will connect, then why the invalid number is shown in the website.. can i have the status why the money is not added to the wallet

                  My money deducted by using both iob debit card and iob net banking but money not shows in by paytm wallet. I am trying two times with the amount of 850+850 total 1700 rupees with transaction id: [protected] and [protected].

But the amount was deducted from my account two times. And Passbook of Paytm show 2 times successful deduction in interval of 8 minutes... Please cash back of 303 to my particular account...

                      I am Dr. Anil...i recently made a mobile recharge of a particular( 303 rs) amount through Paytm on 31st March 2017(1:34pm).The amount was deducted from my account but the recharge was unsuccessful.The transaction status is showing "processing" and I am unable to cancel my transaction order even after 2 hours of the payment. my order number is [protected] my jio number is [protected]...
                      On 31 st march i have make a transaction for recharge in my jio membership . my money had deducted from my paytm wallet..but no recharge had done and in my order history it is showing proccesing and not the way to cancel the recharge.. i have send mail to customer care of paytm but no response.. my order id is [protected]

                        In ordered this product and paid the amount Rs. 12826/- through my HSBC credit card EMI option on March 28, 2017. After 8 days now i have been informed that the order is cancelled by the seller. This is a pathetic experience for me with paytm and this kind of thing never happened with Amazon or flipkart or other e - commerce websites. I am never ever going to use paytm for online purchases from now on. I mean how could you do this. Take the full money and than refund without any reason. I am going to take this to the highest level upto which i can and make sure that no will experience such shamfull thing like me.

                                I tried to pay for my electricity bill on 22nd feb from paytm but payment didn't go through but money got debited from my card. Then again i tried to pay my bill this time payment was successful, so basically i got deducted twice for the same bill.

                                So i complained about this to paytm care on phone they were saying i will get my money back but on mail they revert back with same message that they didn't got any money for the bill. But i have all the proofs from my bank statement that i have paid twice.

                                Now they aren't replying to my mails it's been over 45 days.

                                I want my hard earned money back.

                                    On 2 april paytm had deducted money from my account of ruppess 149 twice please refund it back it is saying that it is withdrawal against dispute its order id [protected] and other one id is [protected] and my paytm is not refunding since it happen 2 days so please take fast step against this complaint

                                      With regard to the above-captioned subject, I herewith present a chronicled sequence of events, post the purchase of the product as under:

                                      • An order was placed by the undersigned through Paytm on 05th Feb 2017 (No. [protected] I PHONE 7 256GB I (JET BLACK) COLOUR at 1.13 pm, total price paid worth Rs. 73048/-
                                      • The above phone was delivered on Februrary 7, 2017.
                                      • Upon opening the product and putting it to use, it was observed immediately that the product was malfunctioning with faulty screen described as ‘Bright Display at the bottom along with a yellow tint and dull display on the top’.
                                      • On the same day i.e. 7th of February, 2017, it was raised to Apple Cusotmer Care.
                                      • Apple Care observed that it might be due to an adhesive on the display that can cast slight yellow colour/ hue on to the display. Hence it was suggested to wait for a few days and the issue may get resolved on its own or else to visit the nearest authorised service centre for its replacement.
                                      • In view of the foregoing, the undersigned waited for a few days. However, since the problem persisted for over a week, the Apple Service Centre was contacted upon and an appointment got fixed for February 17th, 2017. A Case ID was duly assigned towards the same (ID #[protected].
                                      • Upon visiting the Service Centre, the concerned Service Engineer examined the phone and confirmed that the persisting issue is not due to any software bug but appears to be a manufacturing issue of the display.
                                      • Immediately, Paytm was contacted to state the above and raise the issue for its resolution (i.e. replacement) on 17th February 2017 itself.
                                      • Unfortunately, since the first alarm raised as stated above and a series of random, non-specific responses thereafter, Paytm has not been forthcoming with the much-awaited replacement of the faulty product till date. What’s more, the responses from your end has been ‘variable’, ‘incongruent’, ‘inconsistent’ and ‘repetitive’ - completely devoid of customer-centricity as well as domain competence to comprehend or handle such an issue that might crop up occasionally with a high end product aggregation like iPhone.
                                      • To substantiate the above charges levelled against you in mishandling the case, let me chronically take you through the series of communications exchanged between Paytm and the undersigned:
                                      • Upon making the request for the replacement to Paytm, a set of queries were raised by Paytm (Ms Varnika) to submit the documents that includeed Identity proof, snapshot picture of the product with visible IMEI NO., snapshot of outer and inner package with visible serial /barcode number, whether the packaging was sealed or open when the product was delivered, etc.
                                      • To the above-stated email was duly responded on 18th February, 2017 by the undersigned along with submission of all the documents as were requested.
                                      • However, no response was received between 18th and 21st February despite reminding the company through tweets, SMSes, etc.
                                      • Finally, an e-mail response was received from the Paytm on 22nd Feb seeking to submit the Job Sheet of the service centre. This was clearly an ill-intentioned demand as the phone was not submitted to the Servie Centre and hence no Job Sheet could have been generated or provided to any customer without submmission.
                                      • Feeling utterly helpless and harassed, the undersigned made another visit to the ASC at Netaji Subhash Palace, Wazirpur, New Delhi on ... (please provide the date of second visit) where the Service Engineer suggested to leave the phone behind for an observation for ~ 24 hours. However, the undersigned clearly refused the same as he had purchased a brand new phone and in no way, could have agreed for a compromise like ‘repair’/ ‘screen replacement’, etc. under any circumstances.
                                      • Morever, as the iPhone comes with a ‘waterproof’ feature that ceases to exist once opened, no way the undersigned wanted to compromise on the same.
                                      • The same iteration of Paytm demanding the job sheet with a clear, malafide intent to harass continued forcing the undersgined to make repeated visits to the Service Centre between 23rd February and up to 1st week of March, 2017.
                                      • In the meanwhile, Paytm conveyed to the undersigned that the issue is being checked thoroughly once again and they shall revert on the matter.
                                      • On March 1st, the undersigned sent the screen shot of Apple Support through twitter wherein it was categorically suggested that the phone may be returned or exchanged from where the client has purchased it/
                                      • On 8th March, the undersigned paid another visit and requested for Job Sheet once again and finally with such perseverance observed by the undersigned, a Job Sheet was issued by the ASC (Job Sheet enclosed) that stated the condition along with a limitation that the undersigned had refused to unlaminate it.
                                      • Even upon receipt of the Job Sheet as stated above, the Paytm stance continued to remain rigid, non cooperative and with lot of false pretences to replace the damaged phone.
                                      • Finally. Paytm directed the customer to activate the mobile and avail the warranty service instead of the replacement.
                                      • On 11th March, Paytm formally refused to replace the phone on the lame ground that the request for replacement was made 10 days after the delivery and that the handset is not checked by the ASC as it was fully laminated. Shame!!!

                                      As is evident, the above sequence of facts and event is a burning case of mollified intent (forcing warranty-led service instead of a rerturn policy-bound replacement), apart from as series of lapses, delays, vague responses and inconsistent communications sent across to the undersigned.

                                      The above description is an extremely ignominious and shameful act and unworthy of being done from a reputed brand like Paytm.

                                        I had booked movie tickets through Paytm on sunday(2-Apr-2017) for 2 seats S7, S8, PVR Rivoli, Connaught Place, Delhi for show timing 3:50 PM but after receiving a confirmation, I got seats T7, S8( rows were different) . I had called paytm but as per them, I had chosen that seats. PVR didn't took the responsibility as it was booked by third party vendor (Paytm). I want a refund of Rs. 750 back as it was a mistake of paytm, but they are denying to refund.
