Hi everyone,
I had booked 4 bus ticket in "sri adhinath travels" from erode to chennai on june 19th 2016 using paytm application and the total amount i spent is rs. 2837.96.
I didn't receive the boarding information properly.
My boarding point i received as erode bus stand and the boarding time is 8.45 pm[protected] please find the attached screenshot for proof.
Note that was my first journey to erode and i noticed that erode bus stand is a huge place and i am not sure where is the exact point where the bus will stop. No body in that area was giving me correct information.
I started calling the operator of "sri adhinath travels" to find the exact boarding point by 8.30pm while standing outside of erode bus stand. I was surprised to notice that the operator mobile number is switched off. I keep calling the number "[protected]" it is totally switched off.
I tried to reach the same number till 8.40pm still there is no go. So i started calling the paytm customer support and to reach them it too 3 minutes then i had explain my situation, then the agent provided me a different mobile number of the same operator. Then he disconnected the call.
I was again surprised that the other number is also not working then i called customer support again and the time become 8.50pm. This time they gave 3rd number that is also not working. 4th time i called they gave different different number each and every time i call. Finally some one picked the fourth number and said this is not sri adhinath travels. This is sri adhinath electricals please call the travels number and disconnected. And the time went above 9.00pm.
Finally i started shouting paytm agent then he himself checked with the operator somehow and informed me that the bus left the boarding point by 9.00pm.
We 4 passengers waiting for the bus without knowing the exact boarding point and the bus operator didn't cared about calling the customer before they leave the point.
Paytm agent said i can understand the situation and he said sorry and promised me that my money will be refunded in my paytm wallet within 24hrs. Then i suffered the whole night and came in government bus to chennai.
From next day i started calling paytm on my refund they just keep postponing the call telling that my senior person will call you in 30 mins or we have escalated to concern department so please wait.
Its been more than 2 months and i keep calling them there is no resolution from their side.
Finally they arranged for the conference call with the operator and they said, bus operator called us before the boarding time and said we are on the way please wait for 15 mins, bus waited for us for 15 mins, then they called us again to check the status and we said we are near gobichettipalayam which is 45 mins away from erode. So the bus left us and went.
This is the story the operator tells wherever we call for resolution.
I asked for proof (Monthly statement of their phone number) that they called us on that day because i didn't receive any call from anyone. Operator immediately change the topic.
They said i gave proper boarding point to paytm so go and check with paytm.
Then we had a conference call with redbus, paytm, operator and myself and the call ended up positively for me. I sent all the proof they required.
Redbus has escalated to paytm stating take thois case in loss and provide refund for the customer. But no one is ready to provide the same.
I am just asked to be wait all the time. This is really frustrating and i am not at all happy about the paytm service. Everybody started teasing me shall we book ticket through paytm in case of any ticket bookings wanted to happen.
Please be aware of the travels you book and please avoid paytm service - the worst customer service i have ever seen.
