I purchased this product from paytm mall, was delivered on 12 oct. It was delivered in box shabbily packed. When i opened the box, to my surprise, only one fan was in it. The second fan was missing.
I further quickly checked through that one box, found the fan was broken with multiple scratches on fan blade. I immediately raised an alert to paytm through query no.[protected] asking to return the box and refund money.
To date, i am still waiting for refund and resolution to this query. I am attaching pictures of box and fan for your reference.
I have received an email from paytm regarding inability to refund due to following reasons:
We regret to inform you that the return request of crompton aura prime 1200 mm ceiling fan - himalayan grey, pack of 2 has been rejected. Our seller carried out the quality check of the returned product and rejected the return as
· the items returned was tampered
· all in box inclusions (Freebies and accessories) were not returned
· the price tags, original packing, invoice and the label tags of the item were missing
The reason for rejection is unknown as the item is lying at home and not taken back as on date.
The reasons in email from paytm are atrocious with no factual content.
First of all, paytm delivered one fan instead of two.
Secondly, one fan delivered was also damaged
Thirdly, paytm has audacity to come back and say no refund of product due items tampered when return is still pending
I have also been told by paytm that my account has been flagged by system for abusing of transaction policies. I am mind boggled to hear this kind of fraud allegations without any details of abuse.in case, my account is flagged how am i still able to use my account without any issues? No communication has ever been put forward before i raised issue regarding the product delivered. How does it authorize paytm to keep my money without any prior communication?
It is unjust, unfair and maligned practice with a maligned intention of not returning money.
I immediately demand the reasons for flagging of account when i have been using paytm since last 3 years? As a consumer i have rights to ask what is the policy i have breached.
I have been following up on this issue since one month with no resolution. This is a harassment.
I immediately demand refund for this product failing which i am filing court case against paytm.
