I had ordered a bag (Adidas Blue Polyester BackPack).
The offer that PayTM showed was this: Cost - Rs. 1269 (with Rs. 620 as cashback). Plus additional Rs.50 for shipping.
So I paid Rs.1319 in total. And was expecting Rs.620 as cashback. But PayTM sends the cashback only once the order is shipped.
So far everything is OK. After 2-3 days, I check the status, and it was showing it as 'Handed Over To Courier' And the status remained the same, for the next 7 days.
On the 10th day, I received an email saying we apologize for the delay in shipping the product. I replied to this saying, "You'll send this email everytime. Ship the bag asap" After a few days, I received another email saying that, the order is canceled from PayTM's side due to unavoidable circumstances. And that the amount is refunded in the form of PayTM cash (A strategy from PayTM to hold my money on temporary basis, hooking me to the offer, and later telling me that its canceled. So now I have to use the money anyhow, and PayTM also gained some interest investing the money elsewhere. Perhaps they might have did the same thing with many customers.)
WELL, I NEVER TOLD TO CANCEL THE ORDER.
I sent them another email and told them to ship it. And also asked them the reason. Well, they replied saying, "The bag is unavailable" How can someone show the product in the store, when it is unavailable??
I knew they were lying, so I went to PayTM's site, and added the same product again to the cart, and whoooaaaa, the product is suddenly available again, but at a higher price(Rs. 2199).
But why would I buy it for 2199(with Rs.880 as cashback), when I had already booked it for Rs.[protected]. There's a huge difference.
I put in my time, money and efforts and ordered it, so I deserve it.
I also sent them a screen-shot of the cart and told them that the product is available then how come you guys say its unavailable. I also spoke to a customer care executive.
Well, now the reason is that there was some 'technical issues..' I asked them what technical issues. They don't have an answer.
Please look at this issue, and make sure that I get the product at the cost that I had ordered it for. I am not going to pay anything extra.
