"The Item was purchased on 24/04/2021 at 17:23:06 and had a warranty of 12 months. The warranty covers any defect as per terms and conditions laid out by the manufacturer. The damage in your product is due to usage which is not covered under warranty."

I[censored]sage voids a products warranty, we are indeed operating under assumptions that have thrown things like shame under the bus long back. The chair costed 10000. Now I am stuck with 2 pieces. I hope someone reads this and reconsiders their decision to give pepperfry their business. I know I won't.

BTW the people standing near the broken chair misguided me saying that my issue will be taken care of. So you know what the words of someone sporting a pepperfry brand is.

BTW the CS rep assigned to me says the same thing. The breakage has occurred due to "usage". No resolution offered.

So if you plan on "using" your Pepperfry products, also get ready to void your warranty.

    Another Case/blunder drawer channel received defective and of poor quality. The bedside table is incomplete and the drawer cannot slide in.

    The previous ordered bedside table was received with a handle missing and this time the channel found to be of poor quality, damaged the drawer cannot be slide in.

    Very Disappointing.

      Ordered a study table from Pepperfry on 13th. The delivery was scheduled to be on 21st. Got a call on 20th saying I will only get my product on 22nd, but the website still showed delivery date as 21st. Okay. On 21st night 10:30 I get an email saying I requested a later delivery and so my product will only arrive on 29th, WHICH I DID NOT REQUEST. According to the tracker, my product is already in my city. I don't understand why their service is so bad. I cannot contact them over a call since their customer care calls are only till 7 pm, but I received my mail at 10:30 pm!

      I have been waiting for my table for over a week and now they just change the date to their convenience and blame it on me? Horrible retailer. Do not buy from them.

      I called their customer care number which was an automated system, that did not let me register a complaint. But when I checked the tracking status of my product, I was told to expect the delivery on 22nd and I received the product. However, the application and their website still showed my delivery date as 29th.

        The chair I purchased from Pepperfry on Feb 21, broke within 2 months.
        Even after raising a formal complaint, Pepperfry didn't respond at all for 1 whole month.
        They then sent a carpenter from Pepperfry to check the damage. The carpenter who came to inspect conveyed that it can't be repaired, since it's a factory defect (a small metal ring on one leg of the chair had broken into two), and so he confirmed that it will be replaced by Pepperfry. He told me that I will get a callback from Pepperfry regarding a replacement.
        I kept calling and sending emails to different people for further updates but got no reply for another 1 month.
        After calling multiple times every day continuously, a customer service executive from Pepperfry told me that the chair won't be replaced since it's "damage caused due to usage". They said it's already 1 month past purchase so they will not replace it now.
        I kept asking them and sending emails saying that the carpenter said the chair leg was broken because the tiny steel/metal ring attached to one of the wheels is already broken. A portion of the ~1cm metal ring is itself missing which is impossible to happen "from usage" (which is sitting on chair?).
        The carpenter even confirmed that the chair will definitely be replaced by Pepperfry. The delay happened since they were not responding to me initially.
        Please help to resolve this issue.

            I purchased a writing table from Pepperfry in July. They delivered in August that was a defective piece that had missing parts and could not be assembled.
            I requested them to replace parts and assemble however I did not hear from the vendor or Pepperfry.
            Post that I requested them to take back the product and return my money for which they said they can only refund if the vendor takes the product back.
            Now they have no control over when the vendor will take the product and they are not refunding my money.
            I am stuck. Please assist.

            I have not received a refund. A very ill-tempered person from Pepperfry called and told me that my refund cannot be processed back to my credit card. He then tried telling me an option for which even he didn't have any clarity.
            He spoke rudely and was ill-mannered.
            I have not received my refund.

                Hi,
                I had ordered 3 cushion inserts and 3 cushion covers. Out of 3 cushion inserts I received only 1 cushion insert. For that Pepperfry has initiated the refund. I got a email from pepperfry stating that your refund is successfully done. But unfortunately it's been more than 9 days it has not reflected my bank account.
                I had gone personally to the studio for buying. I was given all false promises

                I had also emailed Pepperfry stating that If I have not received sofa inserts, then what will I do with cushions covers. My two cushion covers will go waste. So I have requested for a refund for my 2 cushion cover also. And also I have not removed the tag of cushion cover. Till now I have not received any confirmation of the refund. And also no customer team has called up. Everytime I get message from pepperfry stating that we will call you. But they do not call...
                This cheating is happening at Powai Hiranandani Pepperfry studio...
                Dhrumi who works at Hiranandani Pepperfry studio is a liar. She promised me saying that I willescalated your complaint to to our seniors and also I will email you about the action which she has taken for helping me. But till now even she has not messaged me.

                I got message from pepperfry stating that Sheetal will help me to resolve this issue. Even Sheetal never called me.

                When I asked customer care about Sheetal, one unknown lady from customer care says "when Sheetal will call you, You then ask Sheetal why didn't she picked your call"

                Now I feel helpless. I have proof all the emails and call recording which clearly shows how they are lying.

                      Please provide complete bill along with GST number for both the orders as i need them asap to submit in my office, please understand it is urgent...i don't expect such low standarsa with pepperfry...this is going to lead an FIR against Pepperfry for such cheapest fraud..you buy 11k but get receipt of 1k...what the hell is this? U think people are fool.

                        I ordered an office chair from PepperFry which had a slight tilt towards the right from the start. Earlier it was barely noticeable but as the time went ahead it started getting worse and I raised a repair/return request with PepperFry.
                        The customer care called me up and heard to my query and mentioned that since the defect is from the start, the damage should have been reported within 7days and hence the warranty claim is not valid for this product.
                        Now I am stuck with an office chair which is of no use to anyone.

                              This is regarding my ORDER ID:[protected] which was delivered as a DEFECTIVE Alaska TV Unit in white finish ( SKU ID FN 1878066 – S- PM35387 )from Pepper Fry delivered on 27th February 2021.

                              There have been several emails and calls exchanged from 27th Febriary 2021 requesting to rectify the product and I have been patiently listening over the past 6 months and as per Pepper Fry customer Service teams instructions opening the door for their carpenters and supervisors to inspect the product, take notes, click photographs etc during peak COVID times exposing myself and my family, listening to the resolutions team without any positive outcome till date!

                              I have communicated all these by email with their resolution team including Ms. Aarzoo, Ms. Sheetal and LT CDR Naveen Abhishek who have simply ignored my mails and calls!

                              We choose a product after engaging an interior designer, carefully measuring dimensions, background décor, Wall paint, artifacts which matches the vibe, positioning etc and this is a time and cost incurring procedure and after all these harrowing experience I definitely expect a discount if NOT deliver a new Alaska TV UNIT if you may understand from a customer’s angle !

                              After this exhaustive ordeal over the past 6 Months without a positive solution and to NOT go through this whole process again by recalling our designer, sourcing a new product etc ( which is additional cost and valuable time ), I would like reluctantly accept this product on an AS IS condition at a reduced cost of 50 % discount from what I paid INR 12, 475 to my source account.

                              I would expect Pepper Fry team to sort this out ASAP!

                                Ordered a chair worth Rs. 9958 from pepperfry on 17th Aug, 2021. Delivery promised was 31st Aug. After their so called "quality check", the product was shipped from Gurgaon to Lucknow (destination city) on 25th.
                                I waited till 31st to inquire about the status since there was no update on the pepperfry page. There started my daily calls for next 3 days with pepperfry call centre. Each time their executive would request me to wait till the evening of that day and assuring me that this will be delivered. I asked them the next two days in the morning about the status but their response was always an assurance and to wait till evening as according to them it will be delivered.
                                Then to my surprise and after more than 15 days of placing the order and pepperfry confirming it, got a call today evening i.e. 2nd Sep '21 that the order did not pass the quality check and that they are returning the deducted amount.
                                This sort of professionalism is not expected from a company that is starting to grow because of covid situation. The company could have informed me a lot earlier i.e. from 25th to 31st aug that product failed their quality check. Promising their customer and then giving such lame excuse is frustrating to say the least.
                                Will anyhow never use pepperfry again .

                                  I bought furniture through pepperfry.Com, they promised to deliver it on 19-aug-21. But the product was not delivered and there is no communication on shipping, tracking. I have called up several times to their customer care they told a revised date of delivery. This was repeated many times but the product was not delivered till date. Requested for a refund that also not processed. Fed up contacting them as pepperfry grienvance team also not acknowledging my mails or queries. There is no escalation further they said and have not done any action against the complaint. Product not delivered and refund also not paid

                                  CHEATING... Please make people aware about the cheating from Pepperfry.
                                  I got a mail stating that refund processed since customer requested to cancel (THEY HIDE THE TRUTH THAT PEPPERFRY WAS NOT ABLE TO DLEIVER IT) and the funny thing is that they deducted the cancellation processing charges. I was shocked to see how they are fooling customers. Please beware this fraud company. Also they deducted the CGST and SGST. Why the hell customer loss for the inability of Pepperfry ? I cant leave it i get all money back. Reveal this fraud to public.

                                    I had ordered sofa from pepper fry, after payment on 8th August2021, there is absolutely no update about the product.

                                    Customer care only says 48hr, still no response from them.
                                    My order number is[protected].

                                    Having burnt my fingers, I will never order from pepperfry again.

                                      I have sent 6 different emails regarding my late delivery status and they replied the same scripted message. The emails include their customer service and grievance officers as well. No wonder there are so many complaints against the company. The customer doesnt exist. I ordered a table on 7th July 2021 and reach local warehouse on 26th August 2021. Now they refuse to deliver with excuses like they have 3 trucks to deliver. I mean are these people high on something?

                                        I gave my email and mobile number to this company for the purpose of purchasing an item in March 2019 but they never leave me alone ! I am constantly barraged with promotional material that has a non-functioning "Unsubscribe" button attached at the bottom. Likewise all attempts to unsubscribe from both promotional material and from Pepperfry itself via the personal account login, have been futile.

                                        When I have complained, they send an email saying I have been unsubscribed but the unwanted advertising will never end. If have asked to be unsubscribed from Pepperfry completely and for them to remove my information from their database, but they just pay lip-service and say, "yes, yes. I am dong that just now"- but it will make no difference. The unwanted and hateful flow of emails continues unabated!.
