Hi Team,

I ordered a shoe rack (order no.:[protected] from Pepperfry on Jul 14th and the shoe rack was delivered with broken and low quality plastic hinges.

Since the delivery on Jul 20th, I have requested them multiple times to take the return of this product and even after back to back promises they have not taken it back yet, also they have become unresponsive like some fraud seller.

Also they do not provide an option to provide product rating and feedback on their website, which is a very common and almost a must have feature on any well known website. Pepperfry should be reached out and checked on why they do not allow customers to provide feedback and rate their products?

Please help me with returning this product asap.

    An incorrect product was delivered for my order[protected]. The delivery boys hurriedly unpacked the product & took away the outer packaging cardboard box. No matter how many times we told them that it was an incorrect product, they would not listen. We also showed them the diagram of the fully assembled product that came with the delivery & compared it with the picture of the product we ordered in our PepperFry mobile app. They still would not listen. They just cared about their delivery rating. After they practically ran away after dumping the unboxed product in our home, they SMSed me asking me to forward them the "delivery successful" SMS that I got from PepperFry, so they could click the feedback link in it & give themselves a 5-star rating.

    After all of this had transpired, I raised a return request for the product immediately. A customer care representative called me & offered me a replacement instead of a refund. I graciously agreed because I liked the original product that I had ordered. He said he would inform me whether the original product was available within 24 to 48 hours. It has been 7 days now & all my attempts to reach customer care have failed.

    I AM NO LONGER INTERESTED IN A REPLACEMENT BECAUSE I HAVE ORDERED ANOTHER PRODUCT. PLEASE INITIATE A FULL REFUND FOR ORDER[protected] IMMEDIATELY. YOU CAN PICK UP THE INCORRECT PRODUCT FROM MY HOME ANYTIME. CALL ME ON MY REGISTERED MOBILE NUMBER 98XXX56XXX FOR ANYTHING ANYTIME.

    I had also emailed this complaint to [email protected] just before posting it here. That very evening, I got a call from the customer service executive who was handling my case. He politely apologized & said that the vendor that was supposed to provide the replacement for my product had not yet informed PepperFry (after 6 days) whether the replacement product was available. That’s what caused this delay. He then asked whether its possible for me to make do with the incorrect product that was delivered to me. I had ordered a study table & a bit smaller table with a different design was delivered to me. I explained to him that I had already tried to make it work but this design would not work for my needs. He then offered to pick up the incorrect product from my home & initiate a full refund. I agreed. The very next day, the same delivery persons who had originally delivered the incorrect product, came to pick up the incorrect product. Fortunately, the lack of the outer packaging cardboard box wasn’t an issue at all. They swiftly picked up all the pieces & went away. The day after that (today), I received a full refund for the order price in my original mode of payment (debit card). Note that you can opt to get the refund in your PepperFry wallet also. Anyway, everything’s resolved now & I’m happy. Thank you PepperFry. 😊

      I have purchased the bed 5 months back but it is getting worst. Dermite and wooden dust are around the bed. I already told the pepperfry last month but no action taken place. They are saying that no defect has been found in the product without examine.

      One of your employee called me and told me that she cannot do anything because it comes under wear and tear. Once again your company made a decision without inspection. Secondly she was saying that it's an engineered wood so termites were not a reason for damaged wood.
      Termites can damage solid wood as well as laminate and as well as engineered woods.
      Again I have received negative response.

        There are scratches on the legs and colour of wood does not match image on website. I raised a return request and have spoken to 3 people in Customer Care and they are refusing to resolve the issue. It has been more than a week and still they keep telling me to wait without updating me regarding resolution. I will be writing to grievance redressal if I am not contacted and informed about proper resolution. I asked to speak to higher up and my request was denied. Order no#[protected]

          We bought a new queen bed from Pepperfry.com last month. In a week or so after we started using it we found that its making lot of noises, pasting over the board is coming off and the entire back rest panel is bent. We immediately raised complaint to Pepperfry through Portal and Over the call, raised replacement request and not refund. For around 1.5 week we haven't heard anything from them but then they assigned a technician to visit and verify the claim. The technician updated that the product is defective. Now after this we followed up for 2 weeks and suddenly we received a call from their case manager that the entire damage is due to usage. In a shock I tried to reason out with this worthless representative but nothing positive. This pepperfry person is not even willing to make a statement that we have spent 30000 rupees for nothing.             Here is a brief about how utterly disappointing my experience with Pepperfry support has been, who are denying me a just cancellation and refund of a painting I purchased on the 15th July 2021.

            After I had purchased this product it was mentioned that it comes with a "Pack Content: LED frame with adapter". So I called the Pepperfry support on 17th July 2021 to confirm that, "if the canvas is stretched over the frame". And I have categorically mentioned on the call that though I have already paid for this product, I need this information in order to decide if this product is exactly what I am looking for. And I can purchase another product with a frame if need be. I was promised by the support staff that I will get a reply within 24 Hours.

            Now the product was dispatched on 20th July 2021.
            I get a reply from the support today i.e. 21st July 2021 and they tell me that the product does not even come with a frame nor adapter.
            When I go back to the website/app to check the product details I see that the details have been changed now to "Pack Content: 1 Art Print".
            The support now is either lying that this is what was written on the product info at the time of purchase or it is a deliberate attempt to avoid a refund.
            1. Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot of the product info when I purchase because I never thought I would ever need that for a brand like Pepperfry. I am an online buyer and never had an issue with big brands.
            2. I trusted Pepperfry and paid upfront and trusted the easy return policy (which seems now to be just a sales pitch). But I never imagined that you can change the product info just to avoid a refund.
            3. Instead of investigating the issue the attitude of the Pepperfry support is that to protect the seller than a paying-in-advance customer? Instead of trying to retain a customer and expecting repeat business, do you want to just make Rs. 3298?
            4. The product info also said there is "Assembly Installation available" which is also another reason for purchasing. Now the support tells me that I have to get this framed in 3rd party local store myself.

            If you investigate I am 100% sure that you will find the product details changed after my query was raised. Unless the system doesn't log changes. Some proof of the product details is in the call I made on the 17th of July 2021 when I enquired about the frame mentioned and the support person was not even aware that there was no frame.

            Request you to investigate the matter and do what is just and return/refund me the money I have paid in advance.

              We ordered a floor lamp from Pepperfry. We saw the delivery person brought the item on moped placed horizontally. After receiving the item we got to know that it is broken. It's been 10 days, no is coming to pick the item. Executive keeps telling that the merchant is not receiving calls. What are we suppose to do in this situation. Pepperfry should show some professional behaviour as we have trusted and purchased from Pepperfry. We need refund for the product.

                I bought 3 Seater sofa with Rexine cover from Pepperfry store at Mulund W. I paid amount Rs. 15299 (Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Nine) on Jan 23rd 2021 and got delivery of this Sofa in Feb 2021. Within 5 months rexine of this sofa is bursting/tearing off. I made several calls on Customer Care of Pepperfy[protected] then they arranged inspection of this sofa in the month of June 2021. Almost 1 month passed no response then after. The Technician Mr. Mohasin did visit our house and said that this is manufacturing defect and its beyond repair. Since then I am following with Pepperfry customer care by mail and calls but no body is responding to it.

                Will request you to arrange to replace this defected 3 seater sofa.

                  3rd July: Pepperfry delivered a damaged product and I raised a return request on the same day.
                  4th and 5th July no progress.
                  6th July: I called Pepperfry customer care and got to know that the return request was closed from backend and then I raised the request again.
                  7th, 8th, 9th July: I called every day. Some days twice, to know the status. I got message with a pickup agent’s number. When I called him, he refused to come and pickup. Nothing proceeds further.
                  10th July: first pickup deadline crossed and pickup of the damaged product didn’t happen.
                  11th July: I get a call from CEO’s team that 12th July the product will be picked up.
                  12th July: the product didn’t get picked up and the 2nd deadlined crossed.
                  No money refund has been initiated even after several calls and emails and social media posts.
                  Vishal from CEO’s team seems to handle it. It seems like this whole return policy is a hoax. I want my money back.
                  Don’t buy from Pepperfry online.

                    My oder id is[protected] for DVina Solid Wood Four Seater Dinning Set of 38, 000 and i got that product delivered on 29th May 2021 and product is under 36 month warranty within one month chair got broken on own after complain customer care team send a carpenter he is not able to fix it and said same can happen with other chairs as well after contacting customer care they said we cannot replace the product and talked very rudely and said do whatever you want to do we will not replace and no response from team. imagine after buying such a expensive product situation is this don't ever trust pepperfry it is better to go to local shop rather..

                      Sofa return request

                      I purchased a 3 seater and a single seater sofa from pepperfry for a cost of rs. 78637. The company states on its sales page that these sofas can be returned within 30 days with no questions asked, if ever the consumer is unsatisfied with the product.
                      As the material was warm and uncomfortable for relaxing on it we made a return request on the same day as the delivery - 18 june 2021.
                      The single seater was taken back in a week's...

                      I bought Rubber Wood Study Table from Pepperfry with Order No:[protected] on 22/11/2020. I could not use the table as I was not in town. Started using it from 1st April, 2021. Just in one month i.e 25/05/2021 which then broke on the foot rest .
                      Keeping in view of the quality concern it looks like Pepperfry has delivered an already repaired product to me, crack was due to damaged wood which had been filled with piece of putty.
                      I immediately raised a complaint to Pepperfry after few days carpenter confirmed that the product was damaged and Pepperfry will replace the whole unit as it cannot be repaired due to its Manufacturing defect. This feedback has been recorded on 02/06/2021 .The carpenter (Mr. Shankar, has discussed with his supervisor.But we have not received response after that and this damage has been logged as damage by use when there is a clear proof that the damage had been covered up. We already discussed with customer support as well but no input is received so far.

                      From that day till now, I am not getting any response from Pepperfry. Either they should refund the money or replace the product with fresh one. It definitely looks like an already repaired table has been delivered to us. I have mailed, called their customer service so many times but till now there is no response except for automated mail stating that they will revert but till now no response.
                      I bought this through Authorized shop of Pepperfry but keeping in view of the damage outcome I am unable use the product and not getting any response. Request to provide repair or replacement for the product

                        I had purchased a wall clock which was a defected product, I raised the return request for the clock on the same day it was delivered to me ie on 7th June 2021, along with the pictures n detailed information... However for a week I did not receive any update on the return, I called up the customer service number to check on the same n I was told it will be picked up in 2days, but the pick up wasn’t done, today is 22nd June 2021, it’s been 15 days, n I called the customer service around 5-6 times till now but every time I have been promised that it will be picked up in 2days... the wall clock is still not picked up from them till today... This is a very much fraudulent behaviour of the company and a strict action should be taken on the same...

Just within two months i.e 08/06/2021 we could see a massive crack on the upper surface of the table which is going to split anytime soon. Keeping in view of the quality concern it looks like Pepperfry has delivered an already repaired product to me, crack was filled with some substance but now it came out in depth. I immediately raised a complaint to Pepperfry after few days carpenter came and checked the product took some pictures and commit Pepperfry will replace the whole unit as it cannot be repaired due to its Manufacturing defect. This feedback has been recorded on 16/06/2021 .The carpenter (Mr. Bihari Lal, Gurgaon) has discussed with his supervisor, as per him his supervisor asked him not to visit us further, neither he is providing any contact number of his supervisor. He is only reffering to customer support again and again which I think he is misguiding us. we already discussed with customer support as well but no input is recieved so far.

                            From that day till now, i am not getting any response from Pepperfry. Either they should refund the money or replace the product with fresh one. It definately looks like an already repaired table has been delivered to us. I have mailed, called their customer service so many times but till now there is no response except for automated mail stating that they will revert but till now no response. Actually i am so upset with their way of responding customers. I bought this through Pepperfry online but keeping in view of the damage outcome i am unable use the product and not getting any response. Request to support in this case.

                                On friday 18th june 2021 i bought Strathford 3 seater sofa in blue colour by Adorn Homez for a cost of 15, 399 rupees.
                                In the evening, i got an email from pepperfry telling me that i got a refund. Which i never asked. And i'm not interested in any refund, i want the sofa.
                                They alleged "listing issue"..
                                But if you go to their web site, the sofa is still available, same color, same name, same brand.. Just they changed the price. Now is costing 44, 299 rupees.
                                I did the purchase in the morning, and i got my confirmation email. So i would like to get my sofa in the price that i originally bought it.

                                  I bought Sofa from Pepperfry with Order No:[protected] on 11/4/2021 and product got delivered on 28/4/21. Just in 15 days we could see some big pins protruding out from the joining parts of sofa. Immediately i made a complaint to Pepperfry and their repair service person came and checked the product and told that it cannot be repaired as it is Manufacturing defect which needs to replaced by them. This feedback has been recorded on 2/6/2021.

                                  From that day till now, i am not getting any response from them. Either they should refund the money or replace the product. But i have mailed, called their customer service so many times but till now there is no response except for automated mail stating that they will revert but till now no response. Actually i am so upset with their way of responding customers. I bought this through EMI and paying interest . But i am unable use the product and not getting any response. Request to support in this case.

                                      I bought the glass on April 10th sine than am chasing with customer service. since than all company keep deliver the products but pepperfry keep extending giving excuses... such a bad company does not carry any value of the word. a super fake company customer services worse big fake commitments i will never ever buy anything my life from pepper fry and arrange all documents to file legal case against them...
