I received defected product.carpenter visited and then pepper fry team decided to return the product and after that I'm just calling to customer support team they schedule pick up but nobody came to pick up the product. I'm sending mails and calling to customer support team but no response is there. I'm requesting you to please resolve my issue so that I get my money back.

    I would like to express my grievance towards Pepperfry.com.
    I had ordered a “Prose Book Shelf in Brown Matte Finish by Wakefit” along with 2 other products on 14th December 2021. It was delivered to me on 23rd December 2021. The status on my Pepperfry account for this order no.[protected] shows the following:-
    Shipped on 21st December 2021
    Out for Delivery 28th December 2021
    Delivered on 28th December 2021
    Firstly, the above information mentioned on my account is wrong.
    When I received the order, I saw that 1 shelf is damaged. The carpenters who came to assemble the product from Wakefit told us verbally that the shelf will be replaced in 2-3 days. We waited for 2-3 days, then I contacted an agent on Pepperfry via chat. I was again told to wait for 2-3 days.
    I called Pepperfry after 2-3 days and was told that a complaint will be logged and they will contact me after 2-3 days. They also told me to send a complaint on [protected]@pepperfry.com along with photos of the damages which I did.
    After waiting for another 2-3 days, I got a call from them on 1st January 2022 and they told me that a replacement request has been placed and I will get the product within 7 days on 7th January 2022.
    I got a call from a staff from Wakefit on 6th January 2022 who told me that the bookshelf will be delivered the next day on 7th January 2022. I waited the entire day but did not get a call from them.
    I got a call on 8th January 2022 from Pepperfry from my case manager Godson to confirm that the product was delivered on 7th January 2022 but I told him that I didn’t receive it.
    I am totally frustrated with the service of Pepperfry for my order this time. I am not sure if it is sheer negligence from the part of Pepperfry or Wakefit but it seems like they are just testing my patience.
    I am looking forward to appropriate action to be taken by your good office to get my product replaced at the earliest.

        I have bought a 6 seater dining table with chairs from pepperfry on mid june 2021. i got it delivered and assembled. but later on 30th of august 2021 one of the chair broke. i initiated for return. but they said only replacement possible. but nothing happened. they said one carpenter will come and check nobody came. then after two weeks, one more chair also broke. I tried to contact them to inform them this. but could not get through. they are using a call back service and i did not get any call back from them soon. after so many days one representative named soleha called and she said she will initiate for return and refund. but then nobody came for pick or anything. This happened during mid october 2021. and finally on november 4th the item was picked up from my house. but till now i did get get my refund. i tried calling them, mailed them but no response. they called and said during first week of december that it will credited with in 7 to 8 working days. but i did not get anything.

        please do something.

        i am not able to attach the photos of the mail. will produce if required

            Sir, I am raising this for the second time. Looks like Pepperfry least bother about customer complaints. I have raised below complaint almost a month ago and nothing has been done in spite of me calling them multiple times. Would appreciate if some quick actions can be taken.

            This is regarding the executive chair which I purchased from pepperfry few month back for work from home work. Sir, I would like to bring in following to your kind attention and expecting for a quicker resolution:

            1. When chair was delivered and assembled for the first time, I could feel that Chair has some issues and when I pointed out to the technician, he told me to use it and see if problem persists.

            2. After using for couple of month, I started feeling the pain on my back as chair was bending towards right side whenever I used to sit on it.

            3. After multiple calls and reminder, technician/carpenter came and after looking at the chair he changed the screw and added padding on the right side. I immediately complained him that now chair is tilting on the left side but then he told me to test it and if problem exists then again talk to customer center. You need to note here - that because of adding padding (sort of washer!), technician has to use a long screw which was not even fitting in the screw grip and was left loose!

            4. Immediately after this adjustment, I felt chair has become more problematic and hence called the pepperfy again and when I explained everything in details, another carpenter was sent after 4 weeks (after multiple follow-up) and this time when the carpenter saw the chair he told me this is manufacturing problem and cannot be repaired. He talked to his supervisor over the phone and has even taken the video/pics of chair.

            5. Carpenter told me he is giving the feedback for replacement and I'll get a call within 24 hrs for the same. Today when I called after 3 days since this visit, I was told that feedback is that chair is defective because o[censored]sage and hence cannot be replaced. No details given and also this is opposite of what carpenter told me and also his supervisor in front of me.

            6. Sir, would request you to please look into the case as I work from home and that's a reason I have purchased an costly executive chair. And how come such a costly branded chair will be defective because o[censored]sage in few months.

            7. This is utter shamelessness from pepperfry that they intentionally delayed the service and after following up for few months they just called me to inform that they can't do anything even if I go to consumer forum. Right from their customer service to grievance officer - all have demonstrated a poor customer service and have shown very rigid behavior .

            Will pepperfry even bother about complaint or understand what its all about customer complaints. No way they know how customer service are done. Customer keep on calling them but they are least bothered to reply or even hear the problem. When we try to use forums like this - which I personally felt that its very effective and under consumer call - escalation here means it needs to be resolved!! So anyone in pepperfry will even try to reply to this complaint!!!

                First and foremost, when I ordered the mirror I asked if there was assembly and I got an answer that pepperfry service person will fix it, later that person said it's not in his messages, still I agreed to pay him if he could fix it for me, I wasn't available at that time so he went to the location and fixed the mirror, assuming that. They r pepperfry person with that trust I paid him without even seeing the finished product and today when I see it it's upside down, any normal person can also guess that it's upside down and he is arguing with me that he won't come to fix it .I am highly disappointed that u would hire such person, I am the one at loss here, how can I stay there with upside down mirror
                Kindly look into d matter and fix this problem
                I have guests coming tom, they will really laugh at this, I am going to say pepperfry have done this mistake..

                  This is regarding Order ID No.[protected], (Rome 2 Seater Sofa in Yellow Colour by ARRA and Rome 3 Seater Sofa in Yellow Colour by ARRA) (“Order” / “Product”).

                  The Order was delivered to us at around 09:00 – 9:30 PM on December 2, 2021.

                  On our prima facie inspection of the Product, we observed some defects/discrepancies (which we also tried to communicate with the delivery person, but he suggested that we speak with the customer care of the company only). Accordingly, we immediately, on December 2, 2021 (or late night on December 3, 2021) raised a return request for the Product by listing down the issues identified by us in detail along with the photographs.

                  Subsequently, we were informed by your officials that an official will visit to inspect the Product. However, on the contrary, we received a call from a person claiming him to be a carpenter of Pepperfry and asked us about some repairs to be done. We informed him that we have not asked for repair but for the return of Products. He then stated that he will contact Pepperfry in this regard. Thereafter, we have received no communication or information from him or anyone at Pepperfry in this regard.

                  On December 4, 2021, when we contacted the customer care of Pepperfry, to our surprise, we were informed that we denied the inspection of the Product which was not the case.

                  Thereafter, we again requested the Pepperfry team to resolve our issues. Now we were asked to send an email along with photographs explaining the issues. The same was done by us then and there.

                  Long story short, the sofas are still lying in our house and occupying space with no resolution (or communication) from Pepperfry.

                  We once again request you to kindly take our request seriously and professionally and provide prompt resolution to the issues. We are once again listing the issues in respect of the Product which is as under:

                  Colour Change: The colour of the Product received is dark yellow (mustard) as compared to the light/ pastel yellow colour shown in the picture of the Product on your application. This is common for both 3 seaters and 2 seater sofa.

                  Design defect: The seat is coming out and the same is not shown in the picture of the Product on your application. The buttons on the back are big as compared to the picture of the Product on your application. The design defect is common for both 3 seaters and 2 seater sofa.

                  Product defect, namely, Stitching - The stitching of the 3 seater sofa is stretched. Further, the stitching on a yellow sofa is done by black colour thread threads which are visible and makes the product looks shabby.

                  Thread visible - Black threads are visible from inside.

                  Damaged cloth - Scratches present on the cloth of 3 seater sofa's back.

                  Black cloth visible from inside – This is common for both 3 seaters and 2 seater sofa.

                  Request you to kindly consider my request and resolve it at the earliest.

                    I ordered two products (table and chair) from peppefry and paid it online which included the assembly fee charges (had no option to exclude).
                    I raised my concern to the team, and told them that I do not require the assembly of the product and the amount has to be waived off.
                    While having phone conversation they said once you have the product and if you are able to assemble it at you own than let us update and we will waive off it. And here I am following up with them and they are denying about this that there was no such conversation and they cannot wave off the charges.

                        I have ordered a dressing unit and delivery took 20 days and got in on 31st Oct 2021.

                        Nightmare started and going on until now with daily calls to Pepper fry.

                        It all started with missing plank which took 20 plus days and my daily calls and patience, post which the item was delivered.

                        Well that's not the end, the carpenter installed it with low quality hinges which couldnt hold the mirror of the dressing unit. Upon calling the carpenter he mentioned that the manager has given this low quality hinges and you know what he also mentioned that this was known but still due to his manager he installed it anyway.

                        Post that the loop has repeated, have been calling customer care since then with no luck.

                        Time i am taking to write this review is to help anyone who reads it and stay from this website who are doing nothing.

                          I have placed a prepaid order with pepperfry.com for an office table. I have received the order confirmation email along with the invoice for the amount paid for the 'assembly' of the table, but not for the table. On asking for the invoice for the product, pepperfry.com is asking me to wait till the shipment which is more than 15days from the date of order. I do not understand why the invoice for a fully paid order be shared before the shipping while the invoice for the assembly of same product has been shared. Please do the needful.

                          Hi, I still haven't received the invoice. I was told the order will be shipped by 31st Dec and I will get the invoice. The order was supposed to be delivered on 4th Dec, but the order hasn't even been shipped yet. On trying to call the customer service, either they are not reachable or they ask me to wait. There has been no resolution. Such pathetic service by pepperfry. I will be sure in future to never buy from Pepperfry again.

                            I have ordered a Sliding door Wardrobe at price more than 40, 000/-
                            At first, it took more than 1 month to deliver, after several follow ups past due date.
                            Then the product delivered was defective.
                            They carpenters who installed it, agreed that it's defective and it's to be replaced.
                            After several follow ups, the issue is not resolved.
                            We have advised by customer service, that the wardrobe will be taken back and refund will be issued. It has been several weeks and still the pickup is not scheduled.

                              I have ordered from Pepperfry one Beluga 3 seater sofa in Blue Colour by Triveni Furniture vide order No.[protected] on 7.10.2021 and another 2 Seater Beluga 2 seater sofa in blue colour by Triveni Furniture vide order No.[protected] on 3.11.2021. The seating height offered by Pepperfry was 18.5 cms and when the same was received I noticed that the actual height is 17 cms. The thickness of the foam used was also less. I complained to pepperfry immediately and they conveyed to me that it is difficult to replace the same and instead they promised to compensate me if I agree to accept the product. I told them to let me know the compensation amount but have not received any reply after that. I sent 2 e-mails to their Grievance Officer but have not received any reply. I also tried to speak to him but he never came on line.

                                  Pls find attached the images which clearly shows its 6.25 kgs against the mentioned 12 kgs. Your technician came a month back and checked the same. I wonder what Pepperfry is up to on not resolving this complaint . Feel completely cheated .

                                  Pls resolve the this at the earliest and refund my money and take the product back.

                                  It has been more than 2 months and Pepperfry has closed the complaint saying CUSTOMER PERCEPTION

                                    I had ordered a bed through the website . Firstly it got delivered 18 days later than the estimated delivery date that too after follow up from my end only. Anf now it's been more than 10 days and nobody has come for assembling it. I have already raised the complaint 3 times with the company but no action has been tajen so far. I am even requesting to return the product and get my money back. But they are not entertaining that request either.

                                      I ordered a barstool prices 3500 INR and got it delivered on 22nd November. The delivery personals who also claimed to be the installation personals tried to assemble the product but failed miserably. I was assured a Pepperfly carpenter would come the next day and assemble it. A carpenter from Pepperfly came next day on Nov 23rd, assembled half of it and complained a part is missing. From then, until today, I have been following up with Pepperfly on resolving the issue, No luck till now.

                                        This is regarding my TV unit cabinet which I purchased just before a month. The problem started with one drawer which is not getting closed properly. Gradually, both of the drawers got affected and the top plywood started bending from one side. We called your customer service, he send the technician but he couldn't resolve the problem. He was just confused and finally gave the reason that you have put an extra weight inside the drawers and also that your tv weight is extra! This sounds illogical. It's a TV cabinet!!! We kept 3-4 books and some regular stationery. I again called your customer service and today finally, they managed to talk with me. He just told that we can't do anything in a particular issue, that doesn't come under your warranty period. It's been just a month!!! You have not mentioned anything regarding weight on your website and we have kept everything as shown on Pepperfry website. Your supervisor gives just one reason that you have kept extra weight so we can not do anything. Even the technician was not sure, what happened and he just updated that your problem is solved!! I request you to look into this matter and do the helpful.
