This Is Regarding The Subjected Order Delivered In March Just 2 Days Back From Countrywide Lockdown. Due To Lockdown Situation I Visited My Hometown Delhi Without Using The Bed. I Got Back To Bangalore On 19th October. After Using It For 2-3 Days We Found That Bed Is Of A Poor Build. It Is Also Making A Lot Of Noise On Even A Slight Movement. On The 4th Day It Broke Down As Shown In The Picture Below.
We Are Utterly Disappointed With This Product. . Wood Quality Is Very Cheap And It Is The Worst Product I’ve Ever Seen. After Raising The Complaint With Pepperfry.Com They Assigned A Carpenter To Service The Bed. Carpenter (Irfan Sheikh - [protected]) Visited Me On 2nd November For Inspection And Raised It Further That Bed Is Irreparable. He Also Mentioned That Bed Is Of Very Cheap Quality. He Gave His Feedback To The Team And Raised The Complaint Further. Resolution Office Assigned To This Case (Constancio Dsouza) Was Very Rude With His Conduct. First He Didn't Answered My Calls Which I Made 10 Times On 2nd November. Today He Called And Said That I Didn't Had Time And Then Denied To Make Any Refund/Replacement Saying It Is A Wear And Tear Case. Contancio cased me mental harassment with his behaviour. Product Is Still In Warranty.

There are scratches on the legs and colour of wood does not match image on website. I raised a return request and have spoken to 3 people in Customer Care and they are refusing to resolve the issue. It has been more than a week and still they keep telling me to wait without updating me regarding resolution. I will be writing to grievance redressal if I am not contacted and informed about proper resolution. I asked to speak to higher up and my request was denied. Order no#[protected]

      I received a chest as part of my order number[protected] on October 22, 2020. The chest (kiku chest of 5 drawers in brown finish) had scratches and so the assembly person said he will send someone to fix. Once he left, I noticed the alignment of drawers was off too so I put in a request on October 22, 2020 itself for return With pictures and received an automated response that I will receive a call in the next 48 hours. I’ve been trying to reach their customer care and keep getting a response that someone will call back in 3 hours or so and no one calls. Today is October 28, 2020 - still waiting to get a call back since there is no direct way to call and speak to an executive.

      Ok great, that would be much appreciated. I received a call from Pepperfry customer care and they said that the defect and damage would first be attempted to be fixed even for a brand new product for misalignment, scratches etc. before return. I asked for the executive to provide where all these terms and conditions are mentioned on the website but he didn’t provide any. I’m waiting for carpenter visit now. Pepperfry needs to specify in their return policy that only irreparable items are returned. Very disappointed so far.

        New Mattress Return

        Hi I purchased a Mattress from Pepperfry Online which was delivered 3 days back late in the evening. I realised that 8 inches high mattress does not fit my bed so I thought of exchanging it for 6inches and did not remove any packaging protective plastic cover.           I have bought a Shoe rack from this website, Quality delivered was way worst then I expected on the engineered wood they are selling crap. Which start bending in just few weeks without putting half of the weight on that. I filed a complaint they send one carpenter, He has done some patch but after that it start bending from bottom as well. Causing obstacle to close the doors.

          When i ask them about the quality they said it is made up of engineered wood. I have other products as well from same material but never face such issue in my life time.

          They are just making fool of customer's on the name of engineered wood which is of no sense. Would request you to take strict action against quality that they are delivering to customers.

            Had bought an ergonomic chair from your website. The details for the same are as follows -

            Order sku product: elegant ergonomic chair in red colour by adiko systems

            The chair broke after only using it for one month. Firstly, i did not expect a product of such poor quality from pepperfry.

            I tried reaching out to customer service multiple times. Earlier i got an assurance that the product will be replaced since it's been only a month of regular usage of the chair. But even after this assurance, no-one reached out to us to redress our complaint.

            After raising the complaint multiple times, today i got a call from one of the customer care executives refusing to acknowledge that the chair should be repaired or replaced. The customer care executive who called today was extremely rude and openly challenged us to escalate this complaint to whoever we want.

            I never expected this kind of inefficient service and nonchalant attitude from pepperfry.com.

            Today I got an email saying the following -

            "Warranty covers any defect as per terms and conditions laid out by manufacturer. The damage in your product is due to usage which is not covered under warranty.

            Therefore, I regret to inform you that we are unable to accept a return/repair request for this purchase."

            First of all I am an averaged size guy who used this chair for office work. Such is the poor quality of your products that your chair broke after using it for 1.5 months by a guy who weighs 60kgs.

            Either refund my money or replace the chair. If not, I will be forced to escalate this further.

                I ordered a shoe rack (Kiki 3 door shoe rack in wenge finish by mintwud) from pepperfry in december 2019. We started noticing mold (Fungus) growing on the shoe rack and we got it cleaned. However, the mold kept recurring and it came back very severely. We also called a carpenter to get it checked and treated but he said it was very bad quality of wood and its happening because of it.

                I understand this is the monsoon season and mold does grow during this season but i have checked other shoe racks in our building and they did not have mold like our shoe rack. Ours is very severe situation and its unsafe.

                The product has become a health hazard. We have contacted pepperfry and they have said to clean it with a dry cloth. I have mentioned that we did clean it but it keeps growing more and more.

                Pepperfry must take responsibility and address a health hazard of a product that they provide. I have attached photos for proof.

                      I had ordered a three seater + one seater antalya sofa. The sofa has one year warranty. The fabric of sofa is tearing and also the wooden part of sofa is not proper. Had placed a complaint thrice but pepperfry is not responding. Kindly revert asap.

                        Ordered 1 study table on 24thbJulb20 and it got delivered almost a month later on 25th Aug 20 and then waited for installation.. We called the Carpenter who was aligned bt he during in evening call he was like drunk and was so arrogant and refused to come as having other work..He was talking like I should please him for installing table.
                        He was very abusive during call and also saying bad words to pappefry while asking for escalating it ..

                        Later I called customer service officer and asked Papperfry not to send that Carpenter to my place but to my surprise the CS staff was again similar kind of guy who seems an educated bt was so irritated, biased and adamant to send only that guy who I won’t allow to come at my home at any cost. The CS staff was behaving very unprofessionaly and seems like not at all bothered for customer concern, No centricity or cared abt customer’s personal security or satisfaction. On asking for returning product he upfrontly denied and for sending other carpenter he said PEPPEFRY HAS ONLY ONE CARPENTER AND YOU HAVE TO CALL HIM ONLY, for installation else keep that material lying at home. With such interaction I was feeling like Peppefry just trap customer then leave them struggling with either poor product or with extremely unprofessional and pathatic post selling services.
                        The product is still lying at my home without installation... No call back or any confirmation from pappefry staff.
                        No response in mail.
                        Having worst experience with Peppefry at 1st shopping only.

                          It has been several 10 days, yet i have not received my refund amount that is, rs. 4798.00 (As per the merchant) bearing the order id:[protected]. As per the merchant, that is pepperfry, have successfully initiated the refund amount on 20th july, 2020 with automated reference number (Arn) ixgatnjla3.

                          I kindly request you to cooperate and look into it as an urgent matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                            Order placed on 01 aug 2020 at the time of order placement delivery time given is “on or before 20 aug 2020”. After continuous follow up from 13 aug about the dispatch details, on 17 aug late evening it is mentioned that the order will be arrived by 31 aug 2020. I tried to cancel the order but they dint give an option to cancel the order.

                              I have purchased karen 4 seater dinning set in matt brown and floral finish by casacraft (Order id:[protected] on 10th feb'20.
                              I got it delivered on 15th feb'20. Currently it's under 12 months' warranty period. The table and chair quality is so bad that we fear to sit on it. Quality of wood is low low grade they have charged inr 16000 for the scrape. The chair got broken and when contacted customer care over mails and calls we are getting same auto reply. The person assigned for the work does not came as he said part is not provided by pepperfry so he can't come. We are following up from 5th aug and they are saying it will resolve by 16th aug so we waited. Again yesterday we got a service failed message so we called the resolution team mr. Constancio d'souza for service interaction number ph[protected]. He then telling he need more time to tell us whether they they can provide the warranty support or not. It is totally fraud as they charged so high and it was written 1yr warranty support then after these 10days of harrasment and wasting time they are uttering rubbish. The guy is very rude and don't know how to calm down a customer else he is instigating the customer. Looting customers this way.

                                Hi,

                                I am posting this complaint on the subject of denial of dismantling request by www.pepperfry.com on my purchase of nimbus king size bed. The mentioned item was ordered less than an year back and i was promised of assemble/dismantling services by pepperfry carpenters in case of re-location within an year anywhere in the city/country.

                                Pepperfry vehemently denies their false promise that was made during the time of the purchase of the item. I'm taken aback by the poor customer service response and left with no solutions. Please register this complaint against them for failing to fulfil the promises and assurances they make during the purchase of items.

                                  I ordered fir a dining table set in may, which was never delivered and pepperfry refunded the amount, i ordered another set and this time it was damaged, again the amount was refunded after the issue got escalated. I ordered the third time and have again got damaged product. It is august and i still have not got the product. I am amazed at the quality process at pepperfry. Want to file a complaint for the mental harassment. I have not received any help from customer care, in spite of escalating to the ceo ambareesh murthy. Not sure what more i can do as a cheated customer, who beleived in their brand

                                    I have ordered torrie king size bed in feb'20. Which we are using since march 6th. Today 2nd august the bed support has broken from joint. It is under warranty so need to fix it immediately as it's our bedroom and i have a toddler. I have written to the customer care as today is sunday but need this acknowledged and fix asap. When the carpenter came to install it they were in rush and have done the installation improper way which is why the bed joint got broken also the material quality was very poor but we adjusted as we started using after 14-15 days of installation. Online shopping does not mean to get this poor quality product this should be checked by pepperfry before allowing the seller.
