Hi,
I have placed the order on 14th october, 2019, the product i have ordered is magnolia rectangular full length mirror in solid wood frame. The ordered id is[protected], the expected delivery for the same was on 19’th october. As i am writing this email to you with utter disappointment of dealing with pathetic customer care who have no clue in handling customer grievances and giving false promises on delivery timeline which has not been met so far, also the customer care executive just repeat the same line like as if they are reading some template of giving some false hope.
I just would like to cancel this order and refund my money as i don’t want to take this delivery anymore, also i am going to raise the complaint in appropriate consumer redressal forum.
This email is just for your information as i don’t have any hope of resolution here.

    Both of these products and not received on time.
    1. Pm8947- has been received as it was being used earlier by pepperfry the image shown on website and product received are having huge difference.
    2. Pm5952- customer care says it was delivered on 26thoct but i have received it today 2nd nov at 12:35pm after i made a complaint to pepperfry yesterday. These people are not intiating refund and not replying on emails in which we have mentioned alot of times about the fradulent. This is simple disgusting that when we order you need 100 percent money and when you deliver you can't deliver on time. You can't see customer problem you deliver wrong damaged and incomplete products.
    I want this issue to be addressed by consumer complaints and want the resolution. Take the products back to your inventory i don't need damaged products on the amout i paid to these fraudsters. Done with pepperfry. Having disgusting experience. # downmarket people who can't say they are not having quality products and cant accept there mistakes.

    We ordered Slade study table on 15th oct and got delivered a defective piece on 25th. Now as per pepperfry person who promised to assemble the new piece has not turned up yet and customer care people don't have any idea on the complaints being raised multiple times. Carpenter assigned is cancelling the assembling as the defective piece is missing.

      I purchased king size double bed by nilkamal from pepperfry on 30th sep19, it was suppose to be delivered by 18-22nd oct 19, after 22nd oct when not received any update i made a call they assured it will be delivered by 28, again when not delivered and asked they said finally it will be delivered by 31st, now i get a call and they say its damaged and product is sold out so cant delivered. How would you like to receive refund, they have held up my amount for month and now saying cant delivered, not acceptable. They have litterly mentally tortured during this period. Overall process was quite fake, as they kept delaying and later refused to deliver.

      Order no:[protected]. i have ordered this bean bag chair on 02.10.2019 & i want return this product with in the return period as mentioned in site. as size of bean bag is small . this product is delivered on 20.10.2019 and return period is 07 days. and i initiated return on 22.10.2019 and denied from pepperfry side. please solve it at the earliest.

        Hi,

        Despite notifying pepperfry within less than 24 hours and the order not yet being shipped, they are not ready to cancel my order.
        Despite repeated interaction, i keep getting same rehearsed answer that it is not possible to cancel the order.
        This is ridiculous, first making sure to get the payment upfront and then not even allowing us to legitimately cancel the order.

          Hello Team,
          I had placed order on 14th and 18th Oct, the tracker shows no progress until today 23th oct, unable to contact the company, emails went unanswered in the provided complaint email id. There are no details shared about the company, people dealing with complaints are not reachable, things are very vague. Upon calling the customer care (sometimes says doesn't exist)- which was horrible experience - they kept repeating same lines that they wont cancel, they wont refund, product will be delivered an they cant help with anything else, they didn't even transfer the call to the supervisor, didn't register my complain.

          Due to their unprofessional behaviour and shady profile, I would like to lodge a complaint here and could like to request the team to help us with the order cancellation/refund please.

          Kindly help us get the refund.

            Never ever buy furniture from @pepperfry, it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make.
            I bought all my furniture from pepperfry, the quality of material is pathetic, didn't even last 5 months.
            First complaint on the broken bed board (Order #[protected] they said they cannot do anything as the warranty doesn't cover, i escalated, the office of the ceo got in touch, and they replaced the wooden board, now the replacement is also broken, and all the other boards are also bent and i know they will break soon.
            I have raised the complaint and as usual, they are refusing to accept any responsibility for the quality of their product or repairing it. I am going to take them to consumer court, please do not come under their discounts as their quality is sub-standard, even if you have to pay a little extra, never buy from @pepperfry.

              To book a dining table i had visited many website and identified the best deal at pepper fry and i have booked the furniture and made the payment as-well.
              Post the order been placed after couple of days i have received the confirmation sms as-well, however the pepperfry team started calling to inform that they are going to cancell the order.

              When i have not agreed for the cancellation and i have asked for the reason why its been cancelling now.

              Pepper-fry executive: reson1: our merchant has some issue and they are not able to deliver the product

              Reason 2: merchant has some complaints so we have discontinued the merchant.

              Reason 3: the product was in faulty state so we could not deliver that.

              Reason4: the product been listed wrongly in the website so we are not able to deliver the product for that price.

              I am following up with many mail trail, however i am not getting any proper response, i would like to get this order processed as this is not acceptable form a customer stand point, post the order been place and made payment and it has got confirmed to deliver as-well.

              The representative/executive also gave different reasons over a call to just cancel this order. Though i informed executive not to cancel the order and refund the amount, the executive had forcefully done that without my confirmation. This is totally not acceptable as this is not right way providing the service for a customer.
              I am looking forward with a positive response from pepperfry, if this was not the case i would like to complaint about pepperfry has no business ethics and they are fit to serve for customer needs.

                I bought a luiz sofa cum bed from pepperfry... It was delivered to me on the 19th september 2019 n its one leg broke on 2th september 2019 the very next day... The product quality is so bad and after calling them several times the customer care does not respond and they are least bothered to call back... Disgusting service the delivery is so late and they are not even bothered to reply on mails my order id was[protected]

                  I placed an order for this product on 30th september 2019. At that time i had paid rs. 8530. They have not delivered it yet and it is scheduled to be delivered between 5th and 8th november 2019. But now i see on their website, the same product is rs 4061. Therefore, i want to cancel the first ordand place another order with the lesser price. But the pepperfry staff is not allowing it. This is completely unfair and cheating. I want justice.

                    I ordered "aramika solid wood 2 seater sofa in provincial teak finish & blue upholstery by mudramark". I wanted 3 seater and mistakenly ordered 2 seater on 14-oct-2019 11.30 pm.
                    Very next morning 15-oct-2019 at 12.00 pm i called there customer care and requested the item to cancel it.
                    The answer is straight away no. The item is not even shipped and procured.
                    I requested but pepperfry is not allowing to cancel.

                      By the way from where do you stole my number? Privacy is becoming primary concern for the citizen of india. Companies are stealing phone numbers and sending junks though people don't have interest on that.

                      Now i can't unsubscribe from account as i don't have any account with an email for pepperfry.

                      My issue is resolved so amicably and with lightening speed. Mr. Sandeep.s called me. He is amazing, polite and proficient in solving this. They hardly took 24 hours to resolve the issue. My order was cancelled and refunded the money to my Pepperfry wallet. Kudos to Pepperfry and three cheers to consumercomplaints.in Consumercomplaints.in made this possible. Without your help, it won't be resolved. Thanks once again to Pepperfry & Consumer Complaints.

                        Ordered a wardrobe on 11 oct and it's delivery time is of 33 days. So i will be getting this product on 13 nov. I needed it for diwali.
                        Customer care told no option for cancellation or rearrangement.
                        I search for same product with same manufacturer, other website is providing delivery within 15 days. So why pepperfry needs 33 days for delivery.

                        Dear Prashant, Pepperfry is a Marketplace of Furniture and Home Products and we work with thousands of small merchants and artisans across India to get you the largest variety of distinctive, high-quality products at the best possible prices. Since these merchants are spread across India, it may have a higher delivery timeline. However, we always try our best to deliver the product before the promised timeline. Your order goes through various stages such as procurement from the merchant, transit time, quality check; post which the product gets delivered. The delivery date is derived basis time taken for these stages. On subsequently canceling the order, merchants would be left with unsold items, which would negatively impact their working capital and business finances. Therefore, we do not accept cancellation once the order is placed.

                        I can understand you cannot cancel order & typical answers your are giving.

                        My only question is same product with same manufacture, if ordered from evok website says will be delivered in 15 days. Please check images.

                        Then why your taking extra 20 days? Why cannot you notified user once again before placing order that "Your order will be delivered in 33 days, are you sure for this"? We are software firm, we handle such issues daily. But if you want to play with customer then only you will not come up with easy solutions.

                          Tv unit id :[protected] purchased on : march 09, 2019 and received on date :march 28, 2019. Recollected also.
                          Refund is still pending amount is not credited aug 14, 2019 i have sent mail after collecting the product told that within 2 days the amount will be refunded.
                          Today date 12.10.2019 not yet received the amount. If you still resist to refund the amount is considered serious concern.
                          With immediate effect amount to be refunded at any cost. Delay of refund is not acceptable.

                            The company is not cancelling the order and not return our money. We order some items last night at and we felt it would not fit in the space. So when we called the customer care they are not returning the money and holding it as vouchers in their "wallet" this is holding like stealing. There is no clear statement on the product page about this. There is no cancellation policy page.

                              I bought one chair from pepperfry just half hour back. The order total was around 2900 after applying coupons. After doing payment, they charged more than 5000. When i called customer care, they are saying that nothing can be done. I reviewed the order and it's showing 2 chairs in the order. I want the other chair to be cancelled since i never added it in first place. Also, the payment amount was showing around 2900. Still customer care is denying that they can't cancel it. Also, they refused to transfer my call to some other supervisor. Also, refused to create any ticket for it support team. I faced this problem while using pepperfry app. They have bluntly refused any help.

                              This is clearly a sign of fraud since i have been charged almost double of what was shown while making payment. Order no. #[protected]

                                On aug 23rd i placed an order for zurich fabric lounger with two manual recliners in beige colour by hometown on pepperfry, order no[protected] the order was confirmed and the delivery was promised between 20-24th september on the website. I opted for merchant emi and the first emi also got deducted. The product was not delivered also no intimation about the delivery dates was updated in the website, after several calls to the “worlds worst and damn rude “ customer service stated that the product will be delivered by october 12 also received email confirmation on the same. However, on the website it still showed delivery times lines between 20-24th september even on october 2. On october 3rd i received an email stating order cancelled and refund initiated without any reason mentioned. No confirmation from customer was taken for cancellation and refund. When i called to check the same the representatives were very rude and gave misleading information. No thorough background was done before cancelling the product. One of the representatives accepted that it was their mistake that they initiated a refund and nothing can be done.
                                I waited over a month and i wish to receive the product.
                                If no action taken, i would file a case in consumer court.

                                How can you initiate refund without informing the customer? If the product didn’t meet the required parameters you should have asked for a different piece. I have waited over a month for the product, it’s your responsibility to procure another piece and deliver.

                                  Hi,

                                  I purchased a tv unit in the month of september and the price of the product was around 17500 and after discount i received it for 13700 where it was mentioned as cash back of 2450 which was credited to my pepperfry account. When i tried to do the rest of the purchase fr 2450 i got to now that only 25% will be paid for the shopping and rest 75% should be paid frm our pocket. So i have shop multiple products to get that cash back. What do you mean by cash back either give the amount back or allow us to purchase the product for the remaining amount. The terminology cash back is wrong in this case. Please let me know what best can be done.

Cashback is a part of Promotional Credits which you may accrue (depending on the promotions running at that point in time) on placing an order at Pepperfry. These credits can be used for up to 25% of the Cart Value and no changes can be done on the same.

                                    I have ordered a three seater sofa on 9th september 2019. It's not delivered yet. It's worth 16k. There is no proper notification about the shipment location. Still shows the order is placed in app. The customer care person is providing the false promising dates everytime i consult them. They have no idea where my product is. The response is inappropriate. I request you to resolve the issue. It's a disaster to trust your service and palace an order.
