I had to shift my base from my current city due to my company promotional policy. I orderd a furniture from them on 0106.2019 and i am shifting on 4th july, when i called their customer care for cancellation as i no longer would be available on the shipment address, they denied saying it cannot be cancelled. My question is since the particular item has not shipped yet, why it cannot be cancelled.

    I paid online site of papperfry for purchase of 4 nos. Of chairs of neelkamal brand. They brought different colours chairs which i refused to accept and they agreed to refund but to date after two months also they have not refunded me. I have sent them two emails in the past but they have not replied it. So now i have to approach consumer court. So please don't buy anything from this seller.

      My product id is[protected], and i want to return that product due to back pain issue. as in this matteress there is 100 nights trial policy. so i have tried and due to back pain problem i want to return this product but pepperfry deny this return as they said there is stain on the product. but as i already mentioned to them there is no any stain on it. i got this product on 21st feb 2019 and its 100 nights trial is going o be over on 31st may 2019. so kindly solve my problem and return this product.

      Bought a center table, the product keeps on disassembling, called pepperfry many times even wrote many emails to them regarding the product. They are not responding to any of them. wasted my money on that useless product. Very poor customer service.

      Pepperfry won't cancel my order with 5 minutes after ordering. And their delivery dates are 20 days after placing the order. This issue has been reported on multiple platforms, yet it has not been addressed. I think pepperfry thrives on this loophole. This is shear arrogance

        I placed an order on pepperfry for a takeo single bed in walnut finish by mintwud on 23rd april. The product was in qc and packaging for 10 days from 25th april - 5th may, when i asked why the product hasn't been shipped yet. A wrong item was shipped on 5th may and delivered on 9th may. I didn't immediately realize that the product was wrong as i didn't check the item name written on the packaging. Three days later on 12th may the carpenter comes and tells me that i've received a wrong product.

        I call the customer care and mention that i'd like to return the product in exchange for my correct product. The customer care operator tells me the procedure to follow to return the product and i do the same. I call them again a few days later, 16th may to discuss about the status of my product as i haven't received any details regarding the status of the exchange. The operator tells me that they've contacted the warehouse in mumbai and put my request on priority and to expect that the correct product will be delivered in 10 days. I didn't receive any other details confirming the same. I call them again on 19th may and i am told the same thing again. The operator mentions that they currently do not have the capability to track a product in cases similar to mine but assures me that i'll receive the product by 25th may, i mentioned the date multiple times while asking for confirmation and she agreed with it whenever mentioned.

        On 25th may, i call them again in the morning around 10 asking about the status of the product's shipment and expected delivery date/time. The operator tells me that the product hasn't been shipped yet and he will be raising a request for the same. I ask about the eta for the product and he mentions he doesn't have that kind of information and that a supervisor, gayatri will contact me with the information. I receive a call from gayatri within the next hour or so and she tells me that the product can't be delivered and i told her that idk what happened within as hour to change the status from about to be shipped to can't be delivered. She says she can't help it and that the wrong product will be picked up in the next 24hrs and i'll receive my refund. I was obviously upset and explained the entire scenario plus the issue i faced with an earlier order placed in march and she says she can't talk to me since i'm not using professional language, so i guess it is completely okay for the customer care to be rude and dismissive with the customer's queries but the moment i lost my cool she won't talk to me.

        I saw that the product is out of stock on their website i called the customer care again to ask when the product will be available or how can i order it again if it isn't available on the site and ask for a call with a supervisor that isn't gayatri. The operator tells me that they've raised a request and someone will be in touch within the next 24hrs. I've faced a similar issue with pepperfry where someone was going to reach out to me within the next 24hrs and it didn't happen. So i called again to get the meeting set up on priority basis, because i know that they can reach out to you within the hour as noticed with gayatri they just don't sometimes. I again explain the situation to the customer care operator and mention that i'd like the product to be exchanged asap when the operator tells me that they don't have an exchange policy. Why was i kept on hook for around 15 days if they didn't have an exchange policy is beyond me. The operator mentions that someone will be in touch with me before 7:00 pm of 25th may and no one has called me since then.

        My question is why was i deceived into believing that pepperfry will deliver the correct product and then collect the incorrect one if they don't have any such policies? And what can i do about it? Since i wasted almost 2 weeks worth of time waiting for them to deliver a product that they aren't capable of delivering? I believe that the product was still in stock when i raised the first complaint or for a short while afterwards and i could've ordered it then instead of waiting for so long and then going through the same process?

          My order got delivered the day before yesterday, and i raised a request to return it the next day. I just didn't like the quality of the product at all and don't want to use it. Please take this product back, i called the pepperfry site and the rep said there is no return policy if you don't like the product. They rejected my complaint. Moreover the parts of drawer are made of cardboard. It is simply a joke on the name of selling a product. I want my money back.

            I dont understand how this company still exist in this market place. This online platform is just cheat and fool customer by maintaining a glorious website. This was my first order[protected] for a sofa and there was 10% discount and 10% cash back. However the 10% cash back cant be redeemed 100% rather only 25% of it. Alas... What kind of business model and ethics is this? If i am going to buy another product using this cash back i cant use the whole cash back i have. If this is the case why you guys promote and advertise that you are giving cashback? Whats the use of it? Moreover you are giving couple of days for it to expire, how come you can expect a customer to buy another product just for the heck of redeem the part of the remaining cash back amount in another 2 3 days? This kind of practice is only to cheat innocent customers. Moreover there is no cancellation policy at all. The customer care is so rude, unprofessional and not trained about the policies. This is the worst experience with pepperfry. I repent i should have gone through the consumercomplaints review before i place order. There are hell lot of leading online brands to choose rather than pepperfry. I will atleast ensure none of friends and family members fall prey on it. Either stop giving cash back or mention the exact amount you are giving cash back.

                Hi,

                It's been 17 days of continuous follow-up and repeated calls to pepperfry.com to get my own money. Pepperfry has eaten my money.
                I have not been refunded my money so far for cancellation of order (Duplicate order), which was cancelled immediately as duplicate (Two) orders got placed. Even after refund was initiated on 6th-may-2019 itself (As claimed by pepperfry.com) and the same has been updated on pepperfry.com website, i still haven't received the money till date in my original source of payment (Which is paypal account), even after 17 days of cancellation.

                I'm fed-up of calling pepperfry.com and paypal every-now and then.

                I request you to please help & intervene in this case.

                    Solid wood bed bought 2 months back, bed's rim broke within 2 months o[censored]se. I called up customer service only to be told that this cannot be refunded or exchanged because the bed broke in use!!!
                    This is a manufacturing defect and you can see from the pictures attached that the wooden rim was stuck with glue!!...

                    At the time of installation the carpenter was not able to fix the bed and had to cut the wood. Pepperfry can see this in their record.

                    I have purchased more than 4 lakhs worth of items from pepperfry in the last one year. And this is the first time i am facing such an issue. I am requesting pepperfry once again to exchange the product or give a refund as a goodwill gesture towards your customer who had been loyal towards the brand.

                    Once again i am reiterating that this is a manufacturing defect and should be covered under warranty.

                    After a marathon conversation with your customer team where i had to call them 4 times since morning and speaking to different agents - they have finally agreed to send a carpenter for inspection tomorrow.

                    This doesnt mean complaint is resolved but they have acknowledged my complaint unlike last time where they dismissed the whole thing as bed broke due to usage. If you see the picture, this was fixed by glue. Its a manufacturing defect. No solid wood can crack up like that unless you hit it with a hammer. Or if it was broken from before and just stuck with glue.

                      Customer care denied cancelling order no.[protected]. You have to inform customer in advance at the time of placing order, regarding restriction on usage of cashback. How pepperfry can expect i should place 4 further new order to use the cash back.

                      Such type of misleads is not expected from pepperfry. Further, you are dealing with customer amount which is not small.

                        I have ordered a product with TV unit Price of 29999/ and the product was delivered damaged no one was able to answer me and before delivered the TV unit, I have purchase wall clock 2 Numbers and Orient Exhaust fan 1 Number all the three is useless product and they are returning these product, TV unit rate was 29999 after 7 days it was 12999 and more over product shown in the picture something and received something else, Please do not even think of opening Pepperfry site. I have filed the Consumer case against them.

                          I have place an order on 11.05.2019 (Order no[protected]. On the same day i wrote (Email) a letter saying that i want to cancel my order but they do not responded. On 12.05.2019 i called their customer care no and they inform that product only sold will not be cancel. Then they should right it in bold letter in their website, so that people are not distracted by their advertisement. This is cheating with consumers.

                            Complaint against on line shopping company named “pepperfry”

                            Order no.[protected] for one no. Canvas drawer organizer (Sku: hc 1517422-spm 4830). Delivered on 1 may 2019

                            The canvas document organiser is rather flimsy. The drawers do not open easily and when trying to with one hand the whole organiser tilts forwards – so the organiser body must held with the other hand. The finish is poor

                            The pepperfry website allows return of items sold by it if the customer is not satisfied. However, the returning procedure prescribed by the company is made so difficult that it becomes next to impossible to return.

                            Firstly, reasons for the return must be stated in a format prescribed. What is more, the format given format will only accept if the reasons are uploaded in. Jpg or. Jpeg or. Png or. Bmp format. Only an expert in computer language can upload the complaint in these languages. The ordinary customer can write the reasons only in plain english and it is clearly a ploy practiced by pepperfry to prevent such customer from making a request for return.

                            I tried to send my return request by e-mail to [protected]@pepperfry.com. I got an automated message as under

                            “dear customer,

                            This mailbox is not being monitored..

                            To write to us, click here”
                            When i click, i get back the same form that is impossible to fill in.
                            The game plan is when a customer asks pepperfry to accept a return request through their website he is asked to fill in a form using. Jpg or. Jpeg or. Png or. Bmp formats. It is nearly impossible for the ordinary customer to comply without specialized training in computer language.
                            And, if the customer makes the same request to their e-mail id, they try to get away by saying “this mailbox is not being monitored. To write to us, click here”. When the customer clicks, he is back to square one and given the form that is impossible to fill.

                            Pepperfry have deliberately hidden their address, a genuine email id, telephone number or any other means to prevent customers from getting in touch with them. They do not reveal their any genuine contact detail at all except a useless format to write.

                            They regularly advertise their products in the times of india newspaper and i am sure that the newspaper will reveal their contact details if requested by a consumer protection organization

                              I have ordered a product with description mentioned as "26 inch ceramic full pedestal wash basin" even the photo for the product attached with pedestal. I have attached the same.

                                The order no:[protected] placed on 15th april. I called the customer care even before the product was shipped in order to cancel the product. I decided to cancel the order after a bad experience with one of the bed purchased from pepperfry. But the customer care denied to get the order cancelled and informed that can be done only after the product is delivered. When the delivery guy called i asked to take it back, he denied. We will have to raise a complaint and another person will pick it up. This is so ridiculous to have a # policy like this. Why can't pepperfry make it easy for customers to cancel the order even before shipment. I don't how long this return and refund process will take. I hate pepperfry and will never recommend anyone.

                                  I hv perchased a product from pepperfry order no[protected] dated 20th april 2019. the product is yet to ship, and the delivery date they are showing is about 20 days later, how cant i wait for 20 days bcoz i recently need the product. i want to cancel my order but there is no option for cancelllation, i called to customer care they also refuse to cancel, this too worst policy ever, i want cancel the product anyhow bcoz delivery time is too late, plz help. If my problem not resolved here, i will go to court for their worst ever policy

                                    I want to return my mattress ordered from pepperfry. I have also purchased bed along with mattress, but i have received couple of time the defective product and they are agreed to pay refund for my bed
                                    But, they are denying to refund my mattress cost, saying that we cannot raise a request for return for your mattress because they don’t have return policy.
                                    I need to return mattress, can someone help me out with the same

                                        Dear Pepperfry team,

                                        I have ordered Akron L Shape sofa from your website on dated 7 April 2019 by paying total amount. Today (after 8 days) I have received the sofa but got the wrong sofa. When I call your customer care regarding same, the executive says, we have only this sofa - and the website has shown the wrong information. Hence, we can't send you the replacement.
                                        He also said that we have only one option i.e. to take the refund.

                                        But I have very serious concern that Pepperfry is so irresponsible that they have showing wrong product in the website and make the people fool. If I would have known the shape of sofa then I wouldn’t have ordered as it will not fit in my living hall.

                                        Secondly, who will bear my lost? Now the same sofa is not available with you (as per your executive) and if I see in another website it is costing more than 10 K extra now. Who will compensate my lost?

                                        Also as per your policy there is no cancellation options, however, if the pepperfry sent the wrong product then they have the right to cancel the order – which I feel is injustice. Pepperfry holds my money for more than 10 days and even after that I don’t gets my sofa. Now I have sold my old sofa also.

                                        It's not my fault, I ordered the correct sofa but you guys have given wrong information in your website. I need my Sofa either to be replaced or arrange it. I am not going to take loses of approx Rs 10000/- only because of your mistake...
                                        I am expecting solution immediately or else I will put the complaint in Consumer Court and social media if I dint get satisfactory resolution. I am attaching the pic of sofa which I have ordered

                                        One more thing to give feedback your customer service is worst. They don’t have any information about consignment or anything. I only got reply "sorry we can't help"

                                        I request you kindly arrange or send me the sofa which I have ordered you asap.
