I want to cancel an order i placed on pepperfry, called up customer care, they refused, sent a mail got this reply

    Pathetic experience with pepperfry online shopping and suffering with financial losses.this shopping site should be banned.i booked an order via property via order id[protected] amounting be RS 16, 444/-.the product was damaged and defective and also was of very quality, not for the amount which I paid.upon calling their customer care for refund, they told that the product was repairable condition, so they will not allow any refund.after spending so much money, why should I take a repaired product.worst of it they also don't have any cancellation policy, they are just eating the money of the customers by making fool of customers, of their fake 7 day return policy in case of damaged and defective goods.i repent i should have gone through the consumer complaints review before I place order.i will ensure none of my friends and family members fall prey on it.i have already lodged a complain about the matter in department of national consumer affairs.no more property.

      I wanted to cancel immediately. But they don't have the option so I waited till 10 am 17th June. To call them, they say that they do not have a cancellation policy. I don't want the product.

      I just want my refund to be processed to my initial mode of payment so I can buy something I really need and when I need it. Not 20 days after placing an order

        I placed an order with Pepperfry and by mistake I choose wrong size of clock . I realized my mistake and called them to correct the size or cancle the order . This call was placed within 2 hours of placing the order.

        Thay said we not able to correct or cancel the order because we don't have cancelation policy, but thay should change size at least, However, pepperfry flatly refused to cancel the order.

        I am surprised that when the item is not shipped, they not ready to cancel.

          Thay said we not able to currect or cancel the order becoz we don't have cancelation policy, but thay should change size at least, However, pepperfry flatly refused to cancel the order.

            I purchased rs . 30, 000 products from Pepperfry. I got defective bed as there is huge spaces between the base parts of the bed, and infact there is no base of the bed. And very very cheap quality product. They just eating the money of customers by making fool of customers, customer service is so poor. And they just Send same email to every customer “ product same as described “ . But they mentioned wrong description of the product and so cheap and defective products. I am feeling frustrated from the day I received a cheap and defective product as I am trying to contact them, again and again I am getting the same reply. I raised return request of the product, they said will call you after 48 hours. Please I request to all don’t waste money in this fraud online shopping app as every product is defective and of very very cheap quality and no services.
            Finally, I decided to file a complaint against them in consumer correct.

              Bought Jazz High Back Ergonomic Chair with Headrest received the product after couple of weeks. After receiving the product found out that the product is defective with wheels getting stuck plus the arm of the chair is not extensible. So requested for the return of the same didn't receive any intimation from them regarding the rejection of the item. I had to find out that after few days myself when i call there customer there are rude saying we already intimated that your return is not acceptable and we have intimated same they can't do anything now. They are also mentioning that the return policy won't match the criteria. Here is what the policy states on the website below is the screen shot attached.

                I ordered a bed, 2 pillows, bedsheet and a mattress. The bed is priced at 15000. The bed is highly unstable and will break anytime. It literally moves if a person moves over the bed. Set of 2 pillows - biggest joke. It’s thin as bedsheet. Pepperfry claiming to be the best furniture store and doesn’t know the difference between bedsheet and pillow!

                I urge ministry of consumer affairs to take this online store down. The policies on return and refund are quite laughable and no one in this company actually cares.

                  I bought zoya queensize bed with storage from pepperfry on dated 2nd june 2019 at late night and called customar care on dated 4th june 2019 for details but after that I came to know that it is not full bed storage it is just a small drawer system storage, so I requested them to modify my order and do it full storage instead drawer, and I will pay the rest amount immidiately but they refused So I asked to cancel my order but they r not even cancelling it.. dont know what to do please help

                    I have ordered a furniture in pepperfry. The worst online shopping in the internet. The fraud online shopping company does not provide any cancellation for furnitures. Other furniture online shopping are giving but not the fraud pepperfry. Please don't buy on pepperfry and waste your money. My order id[protected]. Worst experience in pepperfry.                     We tried to contact on the registered phone, no response as the call was disconnected. Email sent for further correspondence.
                    Pepperfry, looting the money of customers. Selling defective and very very cheap quality products. And I am not getting their return policy. Wrong description mentioned but still not taking the return of product, defective product then also no return, quality very very cheap. These are frauds. I am sufferer, wasted my hard earned 30, 000 rs.

                      I had to shift my base from my current city due to my company promotional policy. I orderd a furniture from them on 0106.2019 and i am shifting on 4th july, when i called their customer care for cancellation as i no longer would be available on the shipment address, they denied saying it cannot be cancelled. My question is since the particular item has not shipped yet, why it cannot be cancelled.

                        I paid online site of papperfry for purchase of 4 nos. Of chairs of neelkamal brand. They brought different colours chairs which i refused to accept and they agreed to refund but to date after two months also they have not refunded me. I have sent them two emails in the past but they have not replied it. So now i have to approach consumer court. So please don't buy anything from this seller.

                          My product id is[protected], and i want to return that product due to back pain issue. as in this matteress there is 100 nights trial policy. so i have tried and due to back pain problem i want to return this product but pepperfry deny this return as they said there is stain on the product. but as i already mentioned to them there is no any stain on it. i got this product on 21st feb 2019 and its 100 nights trial is going o be over on 31st may 2019. so kindly solve my problem and return this product.

                          Bought a center table, the product keeps on disassembling, called pepperfry many times even wrote many emails to them regarding the product. They are not responding to any of them. wasted my money on that useless product. Very poor customer service.

                          Pepperfry won't cancel my order with 5 minutes after ordering. And their delivery dates are 20 days after placing the order. This issue has been reported on multiple platforms, yet it has not been addressed. I think pepperfry thrives on this loophole. This is shear arrogance

                            I placed an order on pepperfry for a takeo single bed in walnut finish by mintwud on 23rd april. The product was in qc and packaging for 10 days from 25th april - 5th may, when i asked why the product hasn't been shipped yet. A wrong item was shipped on 5th may and delivered on 9th may. I didn't immediately realize that the product was wrong as i didn't check the item name written on the packaging. Three days later on 12th may the carpenter comes and tells me that i've received a wrong product.

                            I call the customer care and mention that i'd like to return the product in exchange for my correct product. The customer care operator tells me the procedure to follow to return the product and i do the same. I call them again a few days later, 16th may to discuss about the status of my product as i haven't received any details regarding the status of the exchange. The operator tells me that they've contacted the warehouse in mumbai and put my request on priority and to expect that the correct product will be delivered in 10 days. I didn't receive any other details confirming the same. I call them again on 19th may and i am told the same thing again. The operator mentions that they currently do not have the capability to track a product in cases similar to mine but assures me that i'll receive the product by 25th may, i mentioned the date multiple times while asking for confirmation and she agreed with it whenever mentioned.

                            On 25th may, i call them again in the morning around 10 asking about the status of the product's shipment and expected delivery date/time. The operator tells me that the product hasn't been shipped yet and he will be raising a request for the same. I ask about the eta for the product and he mentions he doesn't have that kind of information and that a supervisor, gayatri will contact me with the information. I receive a call from gayatri within the next hour or so and she tells me that the product can't be delivered and i told her that idk what happened within as hour to change the status from about to be shipped to can't be delivered. She says she can't help it and that the wrong product will be picked up in the next 24hrs and i'll receive my refund. I was obviously upset and explained the entire scenario plus the issue i faced with an earlier order placed in march and she says she can't talk to me since i'm not using professional language, so i guess it is completely okay for the customer care to be rude and dismissive with the customer's queries but the moment i lost my cool she won't talk to me.

                            I saw that the product is out of stock on their website i called the customer care again to ask when the product will be available or how can i order it again if it isn't available on the site and ask for a call with a supervisor that isn't gayatri. The operator tells me that they've raised a request and someone will be in touch within the next 24hrs. I've faced a similar issue with pepperfry where someone was going to reach out to me within the next 24hrs and it didn't happen. So i called again to get the meeting set up on priority basis, because i know that they can reach out to you within the hour as noticed with gayatri they just don't sometimes. I again explain the situation to the customer care operator and mention that i'd like the product to be exchanged asap when the operator tells me that they don't have an exchange policy. Why was i kept on hook for around 15 days if they didn't have an exchange policy is beyond me. The operator mentions that someone will be in touch with me before 7:00 pm of 25th may and no one has called me since then.

                            My question is why was i deceived into believing that pepperfry will deliver the correct product and then collect the incorrect one if they don't have any such policies? And what can i do about it? Since i wasted almost 2 weeks worth of time waiting for them to deliver a product that they aren't capable of delivering? I believe that the product was still in stock when i raised the first complaint or for a short while afterwards and i could've ordered it then instead of waiting for so long and then going through the same process?

                              My order got delivered the day before yesterday, and i raised a request to return it the next day. I just didn't like the quality of the product at all and don't want to use it. Please take this product back, i called the pepperfry site and the rep said there is no return policy if you don't like the product.                                 I dont understand how this company still exist in this market place. This online platform is just cheat and fool customer by maintaining a glorious website. This was my first order[protected] for a sofa and there was 10% discount and 10% cash back. However the 10% cash back cant be redeemed 100% rather only 25% of it. Alas... What kind of business model and ethics is this? If i am going to buy another product using this cash back i cant use the whole cash back i have. If this is the case why you guys promote and advertise that you are giving cashback? Whats the use of it? Moreover you are giving couple of days for it to expire, how come you can expect a customer to buy another product just for the heck of redeem the part of the remaining cash back amount in another 2 3 days? This kind of practice is only to cheat innocent customers. Moreover there is no cancellation policy at all. The customer care is so rude, unprofessional and not trained about the policies. This is the worst experience with pepperfry. I repent i should have gone through the consumercomplaints review before i place order. There are hell lot of leading online brands to choose rather than pepperfry. I will atleast ensure none of friends and family members fall prey on it. Either stop giving cash back or mention the exact amount you are giving cash back.

                                  When called to the customer service they denied of doing anything on this and said that they will unable to cancelled the amount or refund the promised amount.

                                    Hi,

                                    It's been 17 days of continuous follow-up and repeated calls to pepperfry.com to get my own money. Pepperfry has eaten my money.
                                    I have not been refunded my money so far for cancellation of order (Duplicate order), which was cancelled immediately as duplicate (Two) orders got placed. Even after refund was initiated on 6th-may-2019 itself (As claimed by pepperfry.com) and the same has been updated on pepperfry.com website, i still haven't received the money till date in my original source of payment (Which is paypal account), even after 17 days of cancellation.

                                    I'm fed-up of calling pepperfry.com and paypal every-now and then.

                                    I request you to please help & intervene in this case.

                                      Ordered a product order id[protected] at 11.00pm last night and wanted to cancel it in the morning at 10.00am... They are not allowing any cancellation and give no refund... If the product is shipped they it is still understood... Not even 24 hours and they are not allowing this... The customer is not to change mind... Need help pl... This is a complete money making site...

                                        Solid wood bed bought 2 months back, bed's rim broke within 2 months o[censored]se. I called up customer service only to be told that this cannot be refunded or exchanged because the bed broke in use!!!
                                        This is a manufacturing defect and you can see from the pictures attached that the wooden rim was stuck with glue!!...

                                        At the time of installation the carpenter was not able to fix the bed and had to cut the wood. Pepperfry can see this in their record.

                                        I have purchased more than 4 lakhs worth of items from pepperfry in the last one year. And this is the first time i am facing such an issue. I am requesting pepperfry once again to exchange the product or give a refund as a goodwill gesture towards your customer who had been loyal towards the brand.

                                        Once again i am reiterating that this is a manufacturing defect and should be covered under warranty.

                                        After a marathon conversation with your customer team where i had to call them 4 times since morning and speaking to different agents - they have finally agreed to send a carpenter for inspection tomorrow.

                                        This doesnt mean complaint is resolved but they have acknowledged my complaint unlike last time where they dismissed the whole thing as bed broke due to usage. If you see the picture, this was fixed by glue. Its a manufacturing defect. No solid wood can crack up like that unless you hit it with a hammer. Or if it was broken from before and just stuck with glue.
