1) the oriel woodchair (Id:[protected] i ordered came with a broken leg. And was taken back by the delivery executive the same day

2) the study table i ordered (Id no:[protected] had scratches all over it and the paint was heavily chipped. It didn't look like a new piece of furniture. The company refused to fix the problem existent in the study table.

3) the sofa cum bed (Id:[protected] came with a broken leg and completely unusable.

What i want is to return the substandard quality sofa set with a refund in my account however, i'm being forced to keep it citing company policies with the only option being refund in pepperfry account.
Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I had ordered on line 1 canvas organiser with Pepperfry . I requested a return of the item. Accordingly, it was picked up from my home. On 7 June I received confirmation from Pepperfry that money would be refunded within 7 to 10 working days.

No refund received till date despite reminders

Please help

Since it is difficult to use as study table ..Thought to cancel my order with in 1hr of order confirmation..But I could not find any option to cancel it.kindly do the needful

We are a market place company and provide platform to multiple merchants to sell there products. As once the order is placed our merchant blocks that particular item exclusively for the buyers. As there is lot of cost involve we do not have a cancellation option available.

    Hi,

    I am a pepperfry customer for about 3 years and have bought a sofa set (Order#[protected] where i got a defective 2 seater piece. After raising complaint and following up for more than a month the case manager has agreed to refund but not replace. Hence, since i have bought a set, i will have to buy the same piece again at a higher price as the current price has increased. So, due to my mistake of buying the whole set from pepperfry, i have to shell out about 3k more for the same thing again or no fault of mine.

      I purchased a few items on 21st june 2019, 22:03:27 ist from pepperfry.com and the company committed an expected delivery date of on or before 1st july 2019. Today is 6th of july 2019 and i still haven't received the order. I called them on 3rd july and raised my concerns regarding the pending item and i was provided a complaint no (Ph[protected] and an assurance that the company will check and expedite the process. Based on my call today, the company seems to have no idea or control on the process and no clue on how the delivery can be done. No one is able to give me any assurance or an assured date of delivery. I have invested too much time in this and i don't think any one at pepperfry can help me with my concern. I believe that the company doesn't treat customer complaints wisely. The customer service agents didn't pass on the call to managers... Number of issues that has made my experience terrible and given me a clarity that the consumer forum is the only way i can hope to get an answer from the company.

        I have ordered a two-door wardrobe from pepperfry app. Then i realised that i don't need this product now, so i wanted to cancel the unshipped product. I called in customer service and asked them to cancel the product for me but they refused to cancel and told me that you have to accept this product. They didn't even care to show any politeness in their voice.

          Ridiculous return policy. If the lamp is not matching the decor I should be able to return it. I have never seen an online store that does not accept returns. Even offline stores now accept returns if you don't like the product. Order no. is[protected]. If we had known about this ridiculous return policy, we would have never ordered from this site. Luckily I always use my credit card for making online purchases. If Pepperfry does not take back the lights then we will block the payment. If you have a negative return policy which is against the customer then a popup should be displayed warning the customer. Why don't you do it? Are you afraid that most of your customers will not order ???

          No problem. I will block the credit card.
          Product received on 29.6.19 from pepper fry. But cupboard was with different dimensions so it was unable to assemble. Carpenter also raised the request with photos and so did I at pepper fry customer care through mail and verbal communication.             I ordered a chimney online from pepperfry. I found later that day that we have ordered the wrong product. I wanted to cancel or modify the product, but couldnt find any options online for this. On checking with pepperfry they tell me that there is no option to cancel or modify once the order is placed. I cannot think of another online shopping site that has such a policy. I also understand the product can be returned only if the product is damaged or incorrect. I cant even return it if i dont like the product.

            I wonder how a unicorn like pepperfry can have such ridiculous policy.

            What can i do to cancel or modify this order? At least can the company let me order an alternate product?

              Hi team,

              Ordered a dining table from pepper fry. Where the images showed that it has chairs with it. When i realised that the order doesn't come along with the chairs. I called the customer care to cancel the product which was still not delivered to me. But got a reply that it cannot be done. So please don't go with pepperfry at any cost. They show images which doesn't be delivered. So don't even give a try ordering any of the items from pepperfry. I have attached the images how it shows in the order.

                  Warranty claim for order no.[protected]
                  I purchased a classic xxxl bean bag with beans in brown colour by style homez, on 10 sep 2018 with 12 months warranty.
                  But the beans in bag is now not as good as in the beginning. The performance of the bean is not upto the mark now.
                  So i request you to either replace it or repair it as it is under warranty period yet.
                  Now your customer support i saying that warranty is only for bean bag not of beans, what does it means i have purchased the whole product from you and the whole product should be included in the warranty.
                  I want my product to be replaced as soon as possible.

                    The return policy is very disappointing. I purchased queen size bed from pepperfry (order no[protected] a couple of years before and recently I purchased queensize matress (order no[protected] from your website.

                    The mattress does not fit the bed. At least, if not return, you should be exchanging it with bigger size and can charge for the extra amount required.
                    Because now the mattress is of no use to bed, it is quite small for it.

                    Highly disappointed. I would never want to consider pepperfry ever in future.

                        Pathetic experience with pepperfry online shopping and suffering with financial losses.this shopping site should be banned.i booked an order via property via order id[protected] amounting be RS 16, 444/-.the product was damaged and defective and also was of very quality, not for the amount which I paid.upon calling their customer care for refund, they told that the product was repairable condition, so they will not allow any refund.after spending so much money, why should I take a repaired product.worst of it they also don't have any cancellation policy, they are just eating the money of the customers by making fool of customers, of their fake 7 day return policy in case of damaged and defective goods.i repent i should have gone through the consumer complaints review before I place order.i will ensure none of my friends and family members fall prey on it.i have already lodged a complain about the matter in department of national consumer affairs.no more property.

                                I purchased rs . 30, 000 products from Pepperfry. I got defective bed as there is huge spaces between the base parts of the bed, and infact there is no base of the bed. And very very cheap quality product. They just eating the money of customers by making fool of customers, customer service is so poor. And they just Send same email to every customer “ product same as described “ . But they mentioned wrong description of the product and so cheap and defective products. I am feeling frustrated from the day I received a cheap and defective product as I am trying to contact them, again and again I am getting the same reply. I raised return request of the product, they said will call you after 48 hours. Please I request to all don’t waste money in this fraud online shopping app as every product is defective and of very very cheap quality and no services.
                                Finally, I decided to file a complaint against them in consumer correct.

                                  Bought Jazz High Back Ergonomic Chair with Headrest received the product after couple of weeks. After receiving the product found out that the product is defective with wheels getting stuck plus the arm of the chair is not extensible. So requested for the return of the same didn't receive any intimation from them regarding the rejection of the item. I had to find out that after few days myself when i call there customer there are rude saying we already intimated that your return is not acceptable and we have intimated same they can't do anything now. They are also mentioning that the return policy won't match the criteria. Here is what the policy states on the website below is the screen shot attached.

                                    I ordered a bed, 2 pillows, bedsheet and a mattress. The bed is priced at 15000. The bed is highly unstable and will break anytime. It literally moves if a person moves over the bed. Set of 2 pillows - biggest joke. It’s thin as bedsheet. Pepperfry claiming to be the best furniture store and doesn’t know the difference between bedsheet and pillow!

                                    I urge ministry of consumer affairs to take this online store down. The policies on return and refund are quite laughable and no one in this company actually cares.

                                      I bought zoya queensize bed with storage from pepperfry on dated 2nd june 2019 at late night and called customar care on dated 4th june 2019 for details but after that I came to know that it is not full bed storage it is just a small drawer system storage, so I requested them to modify my order and do it full storage instead drawer, and I will pay the rest amount immidiately but they refused So I asked to cancel my order but they r not even cancelling it.. dont know what to do please help

                                        I have ordered a furniture in pepperfry. The worst online shopping in the internet. The fraud online shopping company does not provide any cancellation for furnitures. Other furniture online shopping are giving but not the fraud pepperfry. Please don't buy on pepperfry and waste your money. My order id[protected]. Worst experience in pepperfry. Iam gonna take this to social and also gonna post in my review website.

                                        We tried to contact on the registered phone, no response as the call was disconnected. Email sent for further correspondence.
                                        Pepperfry, looting the money of customers. Selling defective and very very cheap quality products. And I am not getting their return policy. Wrong description mentioned but still not taking the return of product, defective product then also no return, quality very very cheap. These are frauds. I am sufferer, wasted my hard earned 30, 000 rs.
                                        please don’t even try to sign in for Pepperfry
