Hello,

I placed this order "[protected]" on "25 september 2019" and today "30 september 2019" their representative called and informed me that pepperfry is cancelling the order.

It is mentioned on pepperfry site that "we do not accept cancellation once the order is placed." please refer attached screen shot.

I think same way they need to protect the rights of customers as well. Once order is placed, they need to ensure the delivery of it.

They are just imposing one sided decision.

They should deliver the product.

Awaiting reply on this.

    I had ordered pepperfry queen size bed order id:[protected]. Bed parts was delivered partially and carpenter and me raised a complaint asking to deliver rest of the other parts. But it's been 15 days pepperfry team is not responding correctly to our calls. Every time we call to customer care, we are informed that product will be delivered within 2 days but no sign of missing parts and we are denied for refund too. It's a scam, please help us to resolve this issue.

      Recently purchased this wardrobe which is not as per specification mentioned on Pepperfry website. Material mentioned on website is Engineered wood but only 3 sides were provided with engineered wood. Backpanel is very thin and low quality material which is not engineered wood. Its a thin ply pasted with salo tape.
      Pepperfry should have clearly mentioned in their product details regarding this.
      Now I am following since 1 week but Pepperfry is simply refusing to return it. I was deceived by the specifications mentioned on website which is not as per actual product.
      Very poor experience of buying from Pepperfry.

        I Ordered Novella Series-09 (Set of 4) Plastic Chair in Bright Red Colour
        By Nilkamal from Pepperfry site on 11th September 2019. I got a mail from Pepperfry on 25th Septemeber 2019 that it will be delivered on the same date. Till 6 pm on 25th September, item was not delivered. I called Pepperfry delivery person (contact shared by Pepperfry) at 6 pm and the delivery person told me that they have not loaded my item in the delivery truck as they are Lonavala for delivery on 25th Sep. They will deliver on 26th Sep 2019. Till date Pepperfry hads not delivered the item.
        I got a mail from Pepperfry on 25th evening stating that: "Novella Series-09 (Set of 4) Plastic Chair in Bright Red Colour by Nilkamal :- We could not reach you as scheduled on[protected]. Please call us on[protected]."
        Which is false. I called the call centre on 26th Sep and they told me that Delivery boy came to our place and not could not deliver as we were not there, Which was again false.
        I told call centre to log my complain at 10:15 pm and found out in my call again at 11 pm that no complain was logged.

        Please Escalate the ask Pepperfry to not do this again to cover up the delay in their delivery so that they so 100% SLA on delivery in the system.

          Please note that i have ordered philo book case in walnut color from your website on august 25, 2019. The date of delivery is said to be 20-24 of this month. As of now, i did not receive the item reluctant to reimburse the amount.
          I contacted the customer care and the replay was highly arrogant and the customer service is worst. According to the status in their application it has been kept on hold. This is a clear case of cheating.

            I ordered the above item and to my dismay discovered that the actual service time is actually the outer limit of the range (Approximately 10 to 15 days after placing of the order) mentioned by them while placing order.in most of the websites even though the range is mentioned, the product is supplied much earlier. But not in case of this website which informed me that the goods will arrive only on the last day mentioned in the order placing screen. When i requested them to cancel the order, twice, i received a stock word to word same reply both times hiding behind the website policy of no cancellations no returns.

            There are hundreds of websites doing online sale just like this site and none of them have such spacious argument like the one they have. All of them have a policy of order cancellation any time before the shipment and even returns after the supply – not only in case of defects but even in case the customer is not satisfied with the quality or any other aspect of the supply.

            What this site does not understand is that it is an online platform and the customer has not actually checked the goods nor has he inspected the same. All he has the words and photographs on the site which in most cases are not conclusive or reliable.in spite of such a limitation, the customer is willing to go for online shopping because in almost all cases there is a very good cancellation and return policy.

            It is really surprising that this website is hiding behind the policy for the inefficiency and deficient service on its part. Such a policy is not going to lead them anywhere in this competitive market. Me for sure, is not going to ever visit this website, nor buy from it and for sure i am going to put adverse reviews and worst possible ranking for them wherever i can.

            It is solely up to this organisation as too how it looks at its customers and also its future because the customer are future.

            Pepperfry has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Minutes after placing the order, i tried to cancel the same online but there was no option so I called the CC who outrightly refused to do so claiming its not their policy irrespective of the reason to cancel. I will never place another order with them again.

              cash back scam from pepperfry

              We have ordered a sofa set in pepperfry.com for an amount of Rs.56278/- in which they have mentioned Rs.10000/- will be credit back to our wallet as cash back and that amount can be utilized for other purchases in pepperfry.com. We have received the cash back after 3 days of our order but the validity they have given as 10 days. Now they were saying that we can use only 25% of the cash back amount for each order, So if We need to utilize...

              Worst customer service. Couldnt alter my order or cancel it after two hours of placing it on the site. The cc did not help either stating it is out of their policy irrespective of reason for cancellation which is ridiculous. I wanted to order another item of the same cost and the order wasnt even processed but they did not allow me to change it. Online bullying!

                I've ordered a multi storage with pepperfry and it got delivered a month later. My order id is as follows

                Item name: multipurpose storage cabinet in wenge colour by eros
                Order id:[protected]
                Sku: fn1437933-s-pm7288.

                However the carpenter found out that there is some damage to the parts and updated pepperfry as task failed.

                The parts were left unpacked on our dinning hall for more than 2 weeks. After much struggle i made them take take it back.

                Now they say they refunded the amount and gave me transaction number as[protected].

                So far i haven't seen this amount rs.11600~ credited into my account. All i got is ask you bank and card company.

                How would i go about getting this money back?

                I've spoken to the bank manager and passed on the transaction number you've provided. However he is 100 % certain that no such refund has been to my account.

                I can provide the entire bank statement from Aug 28th, and every other transaction including refunds from other online stores are recorded.

                If it is small amount care to even write this, but in this case I've to get the refund even it takes long legal battle.

                We are officially sending your e-mail reply to the bank before taking any action.

                  I took a call with the pepper-fry representative and i am really not happy with the ill logical response. I ordered a coat-stand which is mentioned as no assemble required and when the product is delivered to us i see it requires assemble. I was provided an explanation that if the pin-code is provided then the information of non assemble should have converted into self assemble product. I need this product to be exchanged and stop giving me response that pin code was not provided in the emailing address.

                    I bought a dressing table from pepperfry last month (17th august 2019). The product was initially damaged. The handle was broken. But the official who came to assemble the product took the photo and said that he would order a new one and come to fix it. It is 12th september now and that is still not fixed. Also initially we did not notice the slight crack in the mirror. We have not started to use it. Last day the mirror broke at that cracked portion. Now with these two defects i would like a refund for the product or atleast a replacement. But i am not able to do that through the app now. Also i have been trying to connect with the customer care for days. I am never able to get the call connected. Please help

                      Two-three weeks after we received the product, we are not able to close the doors. Upon complaint(s), the carpenter has visited us twice but is unable to resolve the problem properly. The doors can't be opened comfortably even by a full-grown adult. Upon further complaints, the customer service executive very rudely denied service and closed the complaint as resolved. They were not willing to send another carpenter for inspecting and solving the problem with the product or with replacement. Hope the issue would be resolved.

                        From pepperfry.com mobile application on 7th sep 2019. But the delivery date is shown as 15th oct 2019 i. E. More than a month of a time. I want to cancel this perticular order and want to purchase the same directly from hometown outlet.
                        When i contacted pepperfry.com customer care they refused to cancel the order. Its not even 24 hrs from the time i placed the order and the delivery date is more than a month. Within this one month there can be drastic change in price of same product. I dont want to wait for a month hence want to cancel the order and want my refund amount.
                        Pepperfry.com cannot force anybody to purchase something when they are not interested, there should be a option to cancel the order at any perticular time before the delivery of the order. Even they are saying that i cant return the order once delivered. Its totally unfair.
                        Please resolve this issue and help me to get my refund.

                          This is one nightmare. I am trying to cancel the order, within just 10 hours of placing the order, because of some my own personal reasons. But pepperfry denies to cancel the order.

                          I mean, i have placed an order today morning, on a sunday, and by evening i need to cancel the order, but company has denied to do that. Also, being a non working day, i am sure there has been no processing done on the product, specially when you are going to get the product after 22/25 days. So, what's the point of it? It's not been even 12 hours man, but i cannot cancel the order.

                          38000 is a big amount for middle class person, specially when you do not require the product at all. You cannot force me to buy the product, just because i have paid you in advance and you got upper hand for holding the amount.

                            Pawan jatav was not professional & has misbehaved many times over phone.
                            Also no one at pepper fry indore store has been reciprocative. No one has informed about assembly. They have even stopped receiving phones from my number.
                            This is the second purchase from my family & i really regret it.
                            I would also not recommend this to anyone.
                            For anything that i asked a girl named added ti at the store, she would point blank refuse. Without even taking an effort.

                              Pepperfry deducted extra amount and not the amount which was originally shown after adding discount and my wallet credits.. I was supposed to pay 8305 but they charged 11000. I want a refund of my extra money. My order number is[protected]. There is no cancellation option.. Neither they have a 24*7 customer service.. Their complaint email method is also pathetic.. Where there is no option of incorrect amount deduction.. I tried contacting them but then found out that call center is open till 7 in the evening

                                The items were ordered on 12/08/2019. Fully paid. Supposed to be delivered on 20.08.2019.
                                When i track the order it gives me that date.
                                Till today i have not received the items, nor i received any communique regarding when it will be delivered or deliver it at all.
                                Your business practice is despicable to say the least.
                                You do not care about your customer once you bagged the order and money goes to your kitty.
                                Also you send wrong information pushing meaningless e-mails into customers mailbox and do not honor any commitment.
                                I am giving you three days more to solve this issue and deliver the product... Or else i am cancelling my order and want full refund through consumer court.

                                I have placed order by mistake through Bajaj finesse and asked them to cancel it within hour so I can place the order again through debit card but they denied it’s worse they don’t want to understand the customer problem it’s better to buy from urban ladder bec they are more flexible

                                  I ordered a coffee table set on 9 august, 2019 on pepperfry.com (Order id:[protected] which i paid for via credit card. I received the package on 27 august, 2019 at my address. Upon unpacking the product, which was done by a carpenter sent by pepperfry.com at the time of the delivery, i noticed that almost all of the wooden assembly items of the product were damaged. They had cracks and scratches on them and also appeared to have re-polished. I denied the assembly of the product and the pepperfry delivery vehicle guy and the carpenter took it back with them in the vehicle they came in, at the same time. I asked them about the return and refund process of the product and they told me it shall be done through their website only. So, on the same day i sent a return request on pepperfry.com. Also, i got a sms on my registered mobile number that the product has been successfully delivered.

                                  But on 28 august one of my family members passed away so i wasn’t able to attend the call (Single call) of the pepperfry employee from their resolutions team and they replied to my return request via email on 29 august, 2019. So i mentioned the problem with the product to them and also sent them the images of the damaged parts (Which i clicked on my phone when the product was unpacked when it first arrived). I also told them that i can’t take any phone calls as i’ve suffered a family loss and we’ll communicate via email. It was clearly mentioned in their email that i can contact them via phone or email regarding this issue.

                                  But the employee from their resolutions team “chaitali” completely ignored the email i sent to them and kept on sending me the same message again and again, that they tried reaching my phone number but couldn’t connect. And this all happened in the same email conversation. I explained the issue properly to them and also had a 15 minute conversation with one of their employees on their customer care number on 30 august, 2019 as the call to the number provided in the email wasn’t connecting. The customer care executive said that the issue can only be resolved by their employee that was assigned this case (Who was wasn’t available at the time of the call.)
                                  Me and my family are grief-struck at this time and pepperfry employees are taking advantage of this and trying to force me to buy their damaged product which has been in their chandigarh warehouse since. Please help me get my money back from these fraudulent company.

                                  After 30th August I haven’t got any response from Chaitali or Pepperfry regarding this issue inspite of sending numerous emails, except an SMS on my phone that the query for my order has been resolved on 31st August. I’m shocked, and afraid that they were just stalling me until the supposed return period of 7 days expires.

                                  Pepperfry and it’s employees have devised a systematic method to fool people that they have no communication within themselves and everything must be done through their website.

                                  This is Consumer Harassment and pepperfry and it’s employees are Scamming people. Speacially “Chailtali from pepperfry resolutions team” in my case.

                                  The call didn't went unanswered, I was was busy and disconnected the call. And I just tried calling the number you provided in the email but it seems like you're too busy now!

                                  You called me once and within a couple of minutes commented here.

                                  My case has been forwarded for the third time to different employees from pepperfry's resolution team, and every time I contact you through your customer care number, you say that the case has beeen assigned to a different employee and we cannot do anything about it. And as soon as the call disconnectes, you send me an email that my order was delivered?

                                  I never took delivery of it! It was damaged and I refused delivery of it, and it was taken back at the same time in the delivery vehicle that it came in. I don't know how many times I have to tell you this.
                                  Enough harassment!

                                    I have purchased three items from pepperfry.com but after purchasing of 4hours when due to some unavoidable reason i am trying to cancel it they are not even cancelling my order before dispatching the item when i am informing you that i don’t want this items but they are cheating me and taking my money without my confirmation this website is cheating me and customer service also not providing any help

                                    Its a huge amount for a middle class family and they are playing with it.. They hold my money and situation is getting worse in my house .. I am requesting you to release my money I don’t want your item pepperfry.com

                                      Carpentery service for assembly of bed for the first time after the purchase is provided well. But for the subsequent services when the bed is to be assembled the services are't available. No contacts of local carpenters are provided. Carpenters other than pepperfry are not accepting to provide the service because of complexity in its assembly. Kindly consider the issue and provide the assistance. Thanks.
