I have purchased a product in pepperfry and initiated return, as there is difference in colour shade between the display image available in app and the actual product. However, return request is denied twice with some lame explanation.

In the name of return policy, they rob customer's money in a professional way. I recommend people to refrain from shopping in pepperfry and shop in only standard shopping sites like amazon where the customer care service is good.

Already raised complaint twice to resolve the issue of noise on the product of KING SIZE BED. But Customer Service says it cannot be fixed though we have a warranty of one year. Any asking customer to ADJUST with the noisy product.

    I ordered a futon and a shoe cabinet (Order No.[protected].
    I realised that i did not need the product within a day of ordering, before the order was even packed for shipping. Tried speaking to customer care to cancel but it was denied by the service agent and also by their superior, citing PepperFry policy reasons.

    This is nothing but plain old EXTORTION. It sickens me to see that such vendors are allowed to operate in the online shopping space. They claim to be fair to the merchants of the products, but they are more than willing to ROB the customer.

    Pepperfry reached out to me seeing this complaint. They were willing to make an exception as a good will gesture and offered cancellation with a 2% fee. Thanks to their support for getting this resolved. However, I would like to re-iterate that this no-cancellation policy is absurd and PepperFry should work towards removing this clause as it can repeatedly cause problems to customers. Considering that the website deals with furnishing, which is generally large in size and cost, not giving the customer an option to change his decision is detrimental to the purchasing experience.

    The details about cash back should be clearly specified. Not all companies have a policy where they can use only 25% of their wallet at a time. This is really misleading and should be informed to the consumer initially itself.

      I purchased a kids study table worth rs 21, 000 on 3 nov and paid in advance.

      It was written it will be delivered in 4 days and i did not receive the product till 18-dec. Till date i have called multiple times pepper fry call center, raised multiple complaints, called the call center many times but to no update whatsoever and today they asked me to give account details for refund. Complaint # e[protected] for pepperfry purchase order #:[protected]fn1710883-s-pm25323.

      I want refund along with interest from pepperfry and also want to know what kind of action will be taken against the manufacturer bubblegum for such inappropriate way of dealing with customer. It makes me feel pepperfry business is to earn interest on money collected from customers in such a manner.

        I am tired of calling the customer care and i keep getting assurance that i’ll get it today. I even spoke to the floor manager on 13 dec, who assured i will get it by today.

        The delivery guy is not picking up my call and answers rudely as well. His name is vignesh and his mobile number is [protected]. I even reached out to his manager mahesh - +[protected].

        It is frustrating that i have to be the one to follow up as it is not my job. I will ensure i never recommend pepperfry to anyone i know, and at this rate you are going to lose out on good customers.

        This is highly insulting, please initiate my refund, as you are not able to ensure my order is delivered on time either.

        So, please initiate my refund.
        Even a person name sonu. G who was assigned my case, failed to ensure i got my order. Not sure why is she was assigned my case, if she couldn’t ensure i got my order on time. I hope she knows her jobs and at least initiates my refund

          I have mistakenly ordered a XXL bean bag instead of XXL bean bag. Immediately after placing the order i realised it and called the customer care and asked them to cancel the customer care person told me that it cannot be cancelled once the order is placed. He asked me to return the product after delivery.
          Product was delivered and i initiated return request. Then they called me from customer care and that person said it cannot be returned as there is no fault with the product..
          i accepted the product only just because the customer care person said it can be returned after delivery only.. What is this.. it is just waste of money for me now

            I had ordered an Orion sofa cum bed ( order number:[protected] from pepperfry.com worth 26000 INR and received it in damaged condition. Product is broken and of extremely poor quality. I complained about the same for several times but it is not yet resolved. Everytime I call them and they send a carpet after 2 3 days to check the product. Carpenter reports pepperfry that after applying some wax and other stuff the crack won’t be visible. I conveyed same to pepperfry asking if I have paid for new and good quality product why are you fixing the product with wax and forcing me to keep it saying it does not come under their T&C. I have raised the complaint for 4 times and it is getting delayed every time. Also each time pepperfry resolves the complaint without even notifying the decision. Please help to resolve this issue.

            Now the pepperfry customer care says they wont be able to take any further action until and unless we allow carpenter to put wax on the product. Only after applying wax, we can raise a complaint again and then they will see if the product is still damaged then only they will approve a return request. But this is ridiculous, I mean how can you pressurize your customers to accept damaged products? I already know that the product is damaged and applying wax on it, cracks will be temporarily invisible but again after few months it will get back to its original damaged state. Pepperfry has an extremely poor customer support, customer care executives are just not ready to understand the problem. All they have to say is, "sorry we do not support this".."this doesnt come under T&C" and what not. This is a sheer harassment. Pepperfry has no right to torture their customers like this and keep anyone's money for more than a month. This is very frustrating to deal with pepperfry. Can someone please take some real steps to sort this issue out? Regards, Shyam Sawant

              I placed an order with pepperfry on oct 29 2019. I placed a return return request by calling their customer care as the product did not meet requirements. The refund amount was credited to the pepperfry wallet instead of the payment source. Post that i placed another order which partially used the pepperfry wallet. Now when i ask pepperfry to return the remaining amount to the payment source, they are saying it cannot be transferred. Now my money is stuck with pepperfry.

              Here is the response i received from pepperfry when i reached out their customer care.

              "we wish to inform you that as you have used part refund from wallet to place the order#[protected] we cannot transfer the refund credits from the pepperfry wallet to your bank account."

              I am expecting the money to be transferred back to my account than keeping in the pepperfry wallet.

              I have ordered an item in pepperfry and returned it, but now the refund has been credited to pepperfry wallet. I have dropped several emails to the team but without resolving they are confirming that the issue is resolved.
              And how can they keep our money in their app wallet I don't understand this stupid policy.

                I purchased a bed from pepperfry and the bed broke while we were sitting on it. When we complained to pepperfry, they mentioned that the product will not be repaired nor is it returnable since it is broken. They said that breakage is not covered under warranty, where as the warranty details only states its not applicable to cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents (Screenshot attached). The pepperfry official refused to help us in any manner even to get it repaired. Its natural for any company to atleast send a carpenter to repair and fix the items in warranty. Pepperfry is bullying me this way. They are extremely rude too while talking. I spent really heard earned money on this. It is all wasted.

                  Ordered a bed which was received after 1 month, delivery guys refused to deliver product, even on weekend, after many efforts agreed to deliver at 10 am on monday but wasted whole day and came at 7:30 pm only to deliver a damaged product. They have no respect for the customers time, effort or money. Customer care is clueless and doesn’t care. No grievance redressal received on any issue. After making me wait for more than a month they have neither refunded my money, or agreed to replace the bed and are trying to defraud me, having wasted so much of time, effort & money i still dont have a bed to sleep on. What more their carpenter who came to assemble on realizing that product is damaged did not assemble, left the whole room in a mess and pepperfry is not doing anything about the harrasment and mental & physical problem i have to face because they just don’t care what is the customer experience once they get their money.

                      I have placed an order today for sofa and chairs and made the payment. Upon placing the order i realised that it was wrong order and i wanted to cancel it. I called pepperfry customer care within 15 minutes of placing the order and asked them to cancel it. They simply refused saying they can not cancel the order.                         It seems, it is a big fraud with consumer on online podium and least bother about consumers. I rushed to the studio and studio executive placed my order with wrong discount code and i got less discount so requested to match the price or cancel the order. But struggling between studio and customer service and no resolution. Though all this going they immediately started process and dispatched order even i am requesting them to cancel or match the price. I am writing on this podium so awaken customers read and stop working with them. I will surely take legal actions against them but consumers be careful with this kind of cheat websites.

                          I ordered the night stand along with the bed both being walnut color but received the product in 2 different colors and night stand seems old and fade. You can check the same in picture, but pepperfry will neither exchange/replace the product nor will they refund.in fact the customer service agents say they cannot help and we can go ahead and complaint wherever we wish too. I don't understand why people in our country i've guts to do wrong and be proud about it. Kindly help me with this.

                            I ordered a centre table from pepperfry (Order number[protected] on 11th november. The date of delivery was supposed to be 23rd november. The order has not been delivered yet and the customer service center keeps telling that the order will be delivered the next day but no results.                                 Disgusting service and fraud company!!! Worst wood quality and worst assembly. All joints are visible!!! Same day return request is also not accepting not even returning my money which is not lesser than 13k.!!!

                                No return no replacement, don't buy products from them, they just say best wood quality but worst wood quality gets delivered by giving them loads of money!!!

                                  I have bought twin wroght iron bed from pepperfry and the worst experience together. They have not delivered the complete product where accessories are missing, when carpenter came to assemble he found there is something missing, since then i have been calling and king to resolve but there is no one to respond and help.
                                  The complaint of the company is even worst no complaint is getting registered and for there mistake they are giving excuses.
                                  Is the way customers are treated??? From yesterday, if i ask anyone rom their team, they all say its not my mistake and pointing fingers to others.

                                    This is regarding order number[protected]DE1724912-S-PM28483 and[protected]DE1797244-S-PM12333 ordered from Pepperfry. The items arrived completely damaged/broken. To date, the refund amount was not credited to my account. Extremely poor customer service and policy from pepperfry. Third-party shipping vendors deliver all broken products and absolutely no checks or value for the quality.

                                      I order 2 product yesterday, both not shipped yet,
                                      One of the product is milton 520 ml water bottle set of 4 as per description on product page...
                                      Second is cello tiffin box set of 5 as mentioned on product page..
                                      Now when i call customer care they said in milton i will get 4 pcs of water bottle but only 1 tiffin box..
                                      As tiffin box will have 5 container not 5 set..
                                      When i said cancel my tiffin box they said they can not once order placed..

                                      This is pathetic service.. Why mention set of 5 as wrong description... I[censored] want to provide just one..
                                      While same with water bottle they are ready tongue 4 water bottles as both have same description...

                                        Brought one dressing table which was delivered after a month and for assembly we call and requested several time as we are available only on weekends but after so many attempts got carpenter to assemble on weekend. On opening the box found that the unit is badly damaged. Glass is broken and shelf corners and wood was also damaged from so many places. Now customer service is denying return/repair as they can do this only within 7 days. Like really?? To deliver they are taking endless amount of time with wrong traking details updated and to return it is 7 days. The product is in such a bad condition that i wonder in transit how come so many damages can be done. Also there was no fragile tag mentioned on the packing as it contains mirror. The installation guy also mentioned about damages in his record then also i am getting the reply that they can't do anything as 7 days are over. So here i am to let you people know that cheating like this will not be acceptable at any cost and i need solution for this issue.
