Hi,

I have ordered one chair and one table worth rs 13834 on 19th march. But due to covid situations, the shipment is getting delayed and delayed. Pepperfry should provide refund for the products which they are not deliver on time as done by other e-commerce companies. It does not make sense to block the money as well as not providing the product. There is no cancellation policy available even in this hard covid times. Request consumer court to kindly ask them to pay for the refund asap for this order[protected] as well as for order no[protected]

    I had placed an order for a desk & ergonomic chair on their website on 4th april, 2020. After govt. Extended the lockdown till 3rd may, 2020, i received an email from pepperfry stating that i can cancel my order since they were not sure when they could deliver my item. But when i sent the email for cancellation the next day customer care called and denied that they can't cancel my order. I want to cancel my order and get a refund since the company can't guarantee delivery of the items.

      I have placed an order with pepperfry.com for a table. It's a prepaid order, i have paid the amount instantly. I can understand that due to covid-19 issues deliveries are delayed. I don't have any issues with the delivery dates. But pepperfry.com is refused to give bill/invoice for the order which i have already paid.       This is in reference to a complaint raised earlier, i have not received any solution for my problem. Same e-mail is being sent everyday repeating their policies, i am tired of hearing the same thing everyday, they do not care for people's time and money. Just ridiculous service provided. No one bothered yet to see my complaints in different platforms and come up with a solution yet.

      My order-id is[protected], check all the complaints raised against this order id and provide me a solution.

      Do not make people's life pathetic, having to chase everyday.

        We had brought a cot of rs. 33, 535/- ordered on 26th august 2018. Directly through the pepperfry studio nungambakkam, chennai!
        Here just 18months, on looking into a wooden a whole rail just fallen apart where the small nails of the cot just came off, where it should place with actual big screws. But the screws are actually dummy... Which is seen in the attached video.

          I have placed an order in pepperfry some hours ago today. After less than a hour i realised that the order was placed under a different name. I have sent an email to the team asking to either cancel the order or update the name in the invoice, that is when i got to know that there is no way to do either of this. I wanted the order in my name to submit it for reimbursement. Now how should i proceed. Please advise.

          Then please update the name in the invoice, I am sure it is not generated yet. There might be many scenarios like this and there should be some way to tackle this. You cannot simply say we do not accept cancellation. If any updates to the order cannot be made, there is no need of customer care i believe.Please do the needful. I cannot simply waste my money like this.

          There should be some communication that happens with the vendor, kindly inform them to update the name in the invoice. I do not need to cancel the order if you update the name in the invoice. Hope things are more clear now. Awaiting a response.

            Hi team,

            I made an order in pepperfry and they have given me an eta of delivery of 45 days which is absolutely unrealistic and they are not allowing me to cancel the order.

            Please help me cancel the order and get my refund. These fraudsters are cheating us.

              I went to buy a dining table from pepperfry in indiranegar, bengaluru. I liked a product on display and wanted to buy it. The person helping in the shop told me the same colour is not available but i can buy the same product in a different colour. I did not mind a different colour, so i decided to place the order on a laptopn in the pepperfry showroom. Once i returned home, i realised they made me place an order for different product.
              Pepperfry's customer service was not available at that moment, so i waited 15 hours for their customer support to open. When i spoke to them and explained that i was made to order the wrong product, pepperfry refused to cancel my order and refund the amount.
              This is my query.

                I had placed an order with pepperfry for a carpet. It costed me some 6000/-.
                The product was blackish grey, as shown in the website. The product i received was silverish grey with silver glitter (Very light from what was shown in the image). I had raised multiple return request for it, but everytime i was told that the color may vary in the picture and the product you have received is correct.
                They say the color difference is because of the camera resolution.
                But its significant from the pictures, that it is not what was shown in the website. The color difference is significant.
                So, basically i have invested 6000/- on something which is totally useless for me now. I ordered it seeing what was put up on the website and if the product received doesnot resemble to it, it is not my problem. Color does matter in decor items.
                Pathetic experience from this so called brand. Never ever going to order anything from pepperfry again and will put up this feedback on every platform possible.

                  Left side/drawer side portion of bed go down, suppressed... Plz resolve... Plz do needfull. Carpenter assembly was done on 5 march 2020... While putting on mattress on bed and after sitting the drawer side ply go down and suppressed.. So it's my kind request to resolve the issues... It's urjent... So plz resolve as soon as possible.

                    The pricing is really mouth-watering on some of the products, then the same cannot be said of the quality. I guess you get what you pay for. The bed that i brought, even with limited usage (Cumulatively not used for more than 10 nights) started beaking with very light usage. And not just one board, with in the first breakage the second one broke with the very next sleep.
                    As for their customer support, the explanation they gave was the vendor put the onus on the customer saying its the usage problem. Don't understand how the boards can break with usage when you have a mattress on it. I can understand if it's a visible part.
                    Now to get the carpenter to fix this will cost the same cost that would have got me a better quality in the first place.

The cabinet door was dropped to one side and the door stoppers are damaged and not at all functional. The carpenter visited my place n accidentally broke the wooden strap supporting the drawer.                         I ordered an office chair from pepperfry on 21st feb 2020, for which i had paid using the credit card. It was defective, so i returned it, and i got the amount in my wallet, placed an order for another chair. I called the customer care to return the remaining amount of the refund to my card. But they completely denied. I had already purchased various items and i do not need to get anything else. Still, they told me that they can't do anything about it.
                        I am strictly against this. Since i do not have to buy anything else, i want the remaining refund amount back into my a/c. This was not expected from a renowned brand like pepperfry. Had i known this before, i would have better opted for some other online stores or local furniture stores.

                          I'm looking for support with an issue which i have with pepperfry company, which sales online products.
                          I purchased wood wall shelf with hooks from them and received it. Due to some reasons (I was sick and busy) i didn't open it same time but only about after 10 days after receiving. When i opened the box i found that the item is completly wrong with so many wrong measurements and design. Same time i contacted company by website details. They asked me to send the pictures that proves my complaint. I did it. And the answer i received that i contacted late for the returning an item. They have a policy that exchange can be done within 7 days after delievery. I explained the situation that i couldn't check an item same time and requested them to help me. I were asking it twice. First conversation i had with ms. Manpreet. R. She rejected my request. So i made the one more and another person mr. Amorjith rejected to help again.
                          My concern was that i advice to the human, not to the sistem and maybe in some cases they may help to customer and save a customer for the their futures. But they were stricked.
                          I believe that if customer received wrong item 5 days difference in openning the box doesnt give right to company not to exchage or take back a product.
                          I am looking fo your kind support in this situation.

                            I bought a 3 seater full leatherite recliner sofa @ 88200 rs from pepperfry.

                            I noticed that the center seat of the sofa did not have the leatherite on the innerside upperside of center seat and has been patched with a white cloth instead which is not as per the specifications (Full leatherite material).

                            This defect/patch is only in the center seat of the sofa and is visible when the center seat is reclined down.

                            I reported and requested for the return & refund of the product to peppperfry but they refused to return and refund saying it is by design (Which is not true, else the other two side would be the same as well).

                            They are simply denying to accept the defect and refusing to return the product. This defective product is not at all worth 88200 rupees. On offer this same product is sold as low as 54000 rs and they want me live with the defective product at the much higher cost.

                            I also want to highlight one more smartly executed scam pepperfry is executing. I bought the product on a offer which says on the first purchase there would be 50% cashback. I bought this product assuming i will get 44100 rs back in form and cash back which i can use anytime later to buy other products on the site.

                            To my surprise i only got to know later that after my purchase.

                            1. The cash back was only valid for 15 days from the time it reflects in your account. I. E. You need to use it with 15 days to buy other products else it will expire and non usable.

                            2. The customers can only redeem t25% of the cashback on each purchase (I. E. 25 rs for 100 purchase). That means customer need to spend another 75 rs to get 25 rs cash back redeem.in my case the cash back was worth 44100 rs.

                            All this hidden information is not available in the site (Or they conveniently hide it deeper in their site). I only came to know about these clauses when i searched it on google.

                            Unlike other sites like amazon which lets you use the cash back anytime and you can use the cash back completely on one purchase, pepperfry is duping people to fall in their trap and loose their hard-earned money.

                            Their customer support is also very rude and unprofessional at times.

                            I feel cheated and duped as the i over paid way for a damaged product, when even the good product cost way too less usually.

                            I would request your intervention and get my hard earned money refunded and also instruct pepperfry to be more transparent and fair in dealing with the customers and their hard earned money

                            This was the first purchase i ever tried in pepperfry and i really regret i chose pepperfry over amazon.

                            Pepperfry customer support contacted me post the complaint and sent a technician to verify the defect. He also confirmed and agreed to the defect, after that there has not been any further updates.Please expedite and process the pickup and refund ASAP.

                              With reference to the order number[protected], i have bought a dining table for 41000 from pepper fry and was delivered on january 11th 2020.
                              It was for new house where we have started to use aftr house warming from last week.
                              Yesterday we placed food and other items which weren’t too hot nor cold to the table.
                              While moving it after use, could see angu patch on the wood surface.
                              They are offering 3-5 warranty and claiming to be pure sheesham treated wood. But just after a week usage. This is the situation. It is because of the poor quality of wood or polish this has happened and it’s clearly visible.
                              I need proper response and explanation for this case and resolve the same.

                                I have not yet received the refund from the merchant for Order id[protected]. You told me that i should contact my bank as you have already refunded the amount.

                                I contacted the bank and they said that there is no transaction from Pepperfry and they require a confirmation email from the merchant stating the date transaction id and amount of the transaction. I asked for the same from you several times. It has been nearly 15 days but have not received any reply from your end.
                                I urge Pepperfry to deposit my money in my account as it has promised through mails calls

                                With due respect i want to convey my message to you that pepperfry furniture online market company was expected to refund the amount of rs15314/- in my account for the order id[protected]As the order was returned due to product fragile issues). For the refund this company is stating that the refund was initiated on 14th feb 2020 and today it is 28th feb 2020 and i have not received any kind of refund in my account. I have confirmed in my bank also there is no transaction from pepperfry in my account. I am not understanding what to do in this case, they are just misleading me as i think they have not initiated the refund for my order.

                                  I placed order for a dining table set on feb 23, 2020.

                                  I placed this order online after confirming with them over the phone call also. I paid through credit card on their website.

                                  As per tracking mentioned on their website, feb 27, 2020 was the shipping date. But even on feb 28th it wasn't updated on their website.

                                  When i did the follow up with them on feb 28th they informed me that product will be delivered within timeline. And same they confirmed through email as well.

                                  But after couple of hours they canceled the order. When i did the follow up they mentioned that they can not deliver to my location. Where as per their website they are still taking delivery for my area pin code.

                                  Product is also still showing available on their site. Please refer this link and screenshot of same page (Attached herewith).

                                    I got a damaged product and I returned it back to pepper-fry and asked for a refund. They said they have initiated refund. But I have not received it yet. When asked, they don't share any transaction details and they ask me to check with bank. My bank says, "Pepperfry has not attempted".

                                    According to them refund initiated on Feb 1. Not received till today(Feb 25)

                                    Solution would be to refund the amount to my credit card as promised.

                                      I order a table and chair and the delivery date turned out to be very, very late than they indicated before the purchase. Now since the items would be quite useless after such late delivery, i wanted to cancel the order and they said we dont cancel placed orders.

                                      Is this a joke? The item hasn't been shipped yet and they are saying that they dont cancel.
