Being an ecommerce website, why does the pepperfry doesn't have the cancellation option even for the orders that are just confirmed orders.
Why does the government is not giving any regulations for the pepperfry w web site... Rather keeping a small note in the product section they should make the customer aware that there is no cancellations in pepperfry...

    I ordered a six seater dining table which was delivered on 18.01.2019. I requested for assembly on later date as it was delivered to my new home. One carpenter was sent for delivery on 10.02.2019. The carpenter opened the seal of all the boxes sent by pepperfry and informed me that hardware for the dining table is missing and I need to complain to customer care. I took the photo of the product and also the carpenter On complaining, they told me that the version of the carpenter may be true but they cannot help as it has crossed 7 days. I asked them how can they blame the customer for their lapse which is agreed by their carpenter. Carpenter complained to some one and said they will try to arrange and Till date I did not get any response from them and their returns department is rudely mentioning 7 days policy. I need this issue to be fixed urgently as I'm waiting for my dining table assembly in my new home.

      Really disappointed. I have ordered
      King size bed, order no[protected] on 4th feb 2019. And a mattress order no[protected]. On 8th i had received damaged, poor quality bed material. Delivery executives didn't even wait for 5 min to show me materials properly. When i had a close look, those were not even a wood pieces, those look like wooden waste powder filled into polished box of plywood. I was shocked by the heights of cheating someone. On 9th i requested for reverse pickup and cancell my mattress order which was not even slipped by the seller yet. They requested 24 hours time. Still there is no improvement. And again i called them today, first they offered 25% discount, if i keep this damaged poor quality bed. When i asked for refund, she said it will take 5 business days to schedule reverse pickup and 12-15 days for refund. And i am damn sure after five days, they will simply tell me that, they are not responsible for any order, that is delivered before seven days.

      And also for mattress which was not even packed and shipped, simply said they don't have any order cancellation policy, i have to receive that order. It's ridiculous.

      Someone please help me to get my money back for both the orders total rs 21256

        You people send me a wrong product and whenever i call customer service they just tell they will get update and today the customer service agent says we can give you compensation of 1200 and u keep that product.

        Its such ridiculous of you guyz

          It's really irritating with the pepperfry customer service for the dressing table product which i purchased on jan 9. Product was damaged but when i requested to return customer service escalation team fooled me with the rounding of words and forced me to take it or throw it. I want to raise this complaint in consumer court. How can someone force me to buy a product which i don't like as the product was damaged and finishing was improper.

            I cancelled my order for a bed and while i was cancelling the order there was only one option to take refund in pepperfry wallet. Now i wan money in my account but are not returning it, i taked to customer care they said before cancelling the order you should talk to customer care and said that the just can't return and you have to buy the product.

            I want my money in my bank account as i need my money. We are living in the era of ecommerce and such basic facility should be provided by ecommerce website.
            This is highly unacceptable.

              Pepperfry order[protected]
              Issue 1- we ordered a bed in nov 2018 and raised installation request in feb 2019, as our interior work was going on in our new flat

              The person from pepperfry came for installation and said it can’t be installed as the side panels don’t belong to the model we have ordered. Now pepperfry says because 7 days are over, they will not replace it.

              We are not asking for replacement, we are only asking them to install it. Are not defective products covered under warranty? This is a defective one as we are not even able to install it

              Issue 2- while installing the bed side tables, the technician broke the drawer channels. Image attached and we have his video confession as well

              Customer service response is disgusting and very unprofessional

                Hi,
                I ordered one sofa from pepperfry and yesterday they delivered the product. The product doesn't meet our expectations. First of all the colour of the product is very faded and the quality is also not good. It is also mentioned in the specification that the product contain pocket spring, but i didn't find any comfort of spring while sitting in that product.

                  Unknowingly cancelled. Refund not done for the order[protected]. Got tricked by pepperfry's hidden policies. No support from their customer care department. Completely disappointed with pepperfry service. I lost rs. 1117 because of pepperfry tricky policies.

                  They claim that a notification message would have come when cancelling that credit points would not be refunded. I did not see it when cancelling. Why would there be no refund. They why would they call it as cashback???

                    I bought a pack of led bulbs from pepperfry on 29th january. The title of the product page says it's warm white/ yellow, which means that the spectrum is[protected]k and the bulb glows yellow and the product i received is 6500k bulb, which is cool daylight. I tried talking to the customer care executive and she says that the product page describes that it can come in multiple colors, warm white or yellow, whereas warm white and yellow are the same thing and are completely different from cool daylight, which i received. I mentioned this to her and asked her to google it if she chooses to and she said that what google says doesn't matter to them. This is completely unacceptable. The product description is wrong and i was misled into believing i was buying a product whereas it was a different product. And now the customer care executive is creating her own version of reality. She just kept saying that i won't believe her anyways and then cut the call. Just because you say that warm white is 6500k, it doesn't become so. Warm white is[protected]k and 6500k is cool daylight. They are different. Although the amount is not much the principle of the matter irritates me to no end. They shouldn't be allowed to make up their own facts and reality. I want to return the product

                      This is with regards to order number[protected].

                      The base plates of the deewan is smaller than the cot size; more than 1 cm width.

                      I have been raising concern for the same for return and the same is being rejected saying it’s a standard product. Weird to see plate size so small than the cot size and termed as “standard product”. Also, in my entire experience, i have never seen a cot where floor is seen and is termed as “standard product”.

                      The bed has been specially bought for storage purpose. With the plates size smaller to the cot size and floor being wide openly seen, it is termed as “manufacturing defect”.

                      From the past 3 days i, as a consumer, is in mental agony; due to ignorance of this issue. None of the customer care person were able to provide proper details on this except for giving the statement that it’s a standard product.

                      I strongly request the team to look into this issue on high priority and get this issue resolved at the earliest.

                      The way pepperfry team has treated me on this issue is very alarming. After so many requests of connecting/ asking with concerned team member to understand the issue, nothing worked.

                      Please take this as high priority and provide a resolution on this.

                      Adding to the issue, the product is with storage. But if you see the product, the base plates are less than 0.5 cm in thickness. Just six plates have been thrown as base; which my floor can do itself. No fixing is done for the plates. Only thrown within the corners of the bed.

                        I received my order on Jan 9, 2019. Order Id #[protected]. The assembly guy came to assemble the order and found the hardware missing for 2 chairs. He advised that he will update Pepperfry about it. I received a call from Pepperfry between 13 Jan - 15 Jan asking if i has any complaints/issues with the delivery. I elaborated on my concern and was advised that someone will get in touch with me and help me with the complaint. I didn't hear anything form Pepperfry for weeks. I then called Pepperfry and asked them to resolve. I was bluntly refused as this was after 7 days that i was calling. I made more attempts of calling and getting to someone who can help. the next agent took my complaint and said that they will assign a case manager to my case and Case manager will call me to resolve. No call back was made for next 2 days. I call back to check on the update and the agent apologized and said someone will get in touch with me. Again, I wait and no one called, i call back and was apologized to again, was promised that a case manager will call me and was assured that since all the calls are recorded, this conversation can be trusted. I insisted on talking to the supervisor, but was refused. I had no choice, but to wait, so, i waited again. No call for next two days. This has become a nuisance and i am tired of waiting. I called again today on Feb 3, 2019. The representative informed me that there will be no call back as this is beyond 7 days of delivery.

                        My concerns :

                        How did Pepperfry miss the hardware
                        Why was my feedback to Pepperfry not acted on
                        Why was i given fake promises on a call back
                        Are the reps calibrated ?
                        What am i supposed to do with 2 chairs sitting in the box?

                        I paid 14000 for this product and this is of no use to me. I need to get a resolution. The missing hardware is supposed to be delivered. i can't have these parts from outside. And the false promises .. this is of grave concern that your reps have no understanding of the issue and say different things.

                        someone needs to look into this and resolve and call back.

                            Please do not buy from pepperfry.. I have bought furniture and other material worth over one lakh in the last few months. Furniture (Order number[protected] came with 36 months warranty, the bed which i barely used broke as the quality of wood used was pathetic. I raised a ticket (Case ref. Number is ph[protected] and their carpenter came and inspected the bed and said the wood quality was poor and cannot be repaired. Yesterday, @pepperfry on call admitted and offered to replace the product with another bed as the same bed was out of stock. When we called today, they backed out on their word and the case manager said it is wear and tear and cannot be replaced and won't be even covered under warranty.
                            This is how they cheat you, sell you cheap quality products by pushing huge discounts with 3 years warranty, but they don't even last for 3 months. My friend's sofa broke within the first month and they gave the same crap that it will not be covered under warranty.
                            They can't even stick to their own commitments. Please spend a little extra and buy from a reliable store than become their victim.
                            A cheated customer.

                              I had purchased a ethnic motif wool 5 x 4 feet hand tufted carpet by obeetee from pepperfry on 5th jan. Upon receiving the product i told the delivery partner that i need to check the size of the carper since i think its a bit small for the place that i need it for.

                              The delivery partner said that he can't open the parcel but if there is any issue you can return the product.

                              Upon opening the park i found it small and requested for return. Now the company is refusing to return citing some policy of returning the product only when it has a defect. They say the returns t&c is mentioned some where inside on there website.

                                Very high price he is quoting. For a normal 3 pc wooden stool set he is charging 9000 rs where as in other website it is only 3000 rs. This is big cheating of public and hard working people who have earned their money working day and night. I want govt to take immediate action on him and need to be rectified soon. These are really big fraud people.

                                  Well i had ordered a clothes drying stand from pepperfry online and they sent the right product but what they have on the website is different to whats being delivered, however i have asked them to take the product back, they refused stating its not under the 7 day return back policy from the receipt of the product, (As per their logistics dept) wherewas i knew i was very well under the 7 day return policy, all that i have asked them to take it back as it didnt look the same which i ordered online so they refused saying i have already crossed the 7 day return back policy as the product which has been delivered is the right one, all other online shopping portals like amazon and the rest take their prodcuct back and have the money being refunded, also what pepperfry does that they keep buying time once the customer sends a email regarding anything that their get back in 24 hrs or 48 hrs, there is no systematic way... They must have their common set of policies of rules flashing over the screen when the customer is making a online purchase, infact their team members gayatri and kalpesh have sent the same email to me stating that i have already crossed the 7 day return policy.. All that they just wanted to close the case without even helping the customer, they keep on sending u the link to upload the picture of the product so that more and more time is pasee inturn the 7 day return policy is over an the customer has no chance of getting their money back... Really also the customer service executives will promise you to have a call back and on call if you wanna speak to someone superior they dont even escalate the call, they will just go on repeating the same thing and in turn dont help u at all over the call... I m so no satisfied with pepperfy sales and services.. Its my first and the last time that i m dealing with pepperfry and i m also going to suggest everyone not to order anything from peperfry as what image is being displayed is completely different to what product is being delivered...

                                    I ordered an office chair and it was not a quality one. The plastic was defective. When I raised a return request they rejected saying that the product is same as described in the website.
                                    The customer care executive is very rude. They will just say read our policy and don't mind your words.

                                    They only accept returns if it is defective or damaged it seems . Then what to do if the quality is poor?

                                    Please don't buy furniture online, buy at a store
                                    I lost my respect for Pepperfry and will not recommend it to anyone
                                    No response from Pepperfry yet. Worst customer service.
                                    Preffery 192 amount not credit in my paypal account 192 this amount transfer to my paytm account [protected] quickly refund my money another than i'm case in highcourt.

                                      I ordered a study table for which the table drawer handle was missing. We raised a replacement request on the same day from the order summary page. I received couple of emails stating that the return request raised, return accepted etc. I checked the same page regularly and saw that the status has been updated to "return request has been accepted. Someone will get in touch with you". But didnt hear from anyone for the next few day.

                                      When we contacted the customer support they refused to take back the product stating that the customer should have contacted pepperfry before..

                                        I have got 2 products from you bean bag and the tv case (Ord id[protected]
                                        Bean bag (Ord id[protected] also is not good. The beans (Thermocol balls) are getting blasted when we sit.

                                        For tv case, after carpenter visiting my house, he took pictures and sent it to you, i got a message saying our customer team will be back in 24 hours as the proper is not solved which was sent on 16th jan, the wooden blank on which tv is getting based is getting bent. The boxes that were given are not getting closed. Poor quality wood they use.

                                        Till now i didnt get any call, i called myself and your customer care executive was not having patience to listen her name is nisha. I am not bothered about her, but put nice executives who has patience
