I have booked hindware chimney on 16th aug and as per the initial status it was supposed to deliver by 28th aug. But not delivered so far and no status update and also no response from customer care. Says investigating.

It was very bad experience and not seen such worse in delivery of the products.

Now i am in doubt whether i will get my order or not.

Pls help me if some one came across such situation and how it was resolved.

    Regret to inform that the table is of the poorest quality and the images that have been put up on the website are thoroughly misguiding and misleading.
    The table has caught fungus. Because it is a study table, my books and everythg has got spoilt.
    Who is going to be responsible for this act!

    i expect the company to solve my issue by picking this horrible product from my residence and refunding the amount back to me.
    also would request ppl not to use pepperfry products
    the website is highly impressive but beware it misguiding also.
    none of the products are worthy of the price they charge,

    I ordered a beanbag chair from pepperfry (order #[protected]. The estimated delivery date is a month from now and didnt realise it at the time of placing the order. I cant find an option to cancel the order and i contacted their customer care services and no response yet! I want to cancel the order before shipment.

      This is with reference to my order no.[protected]. The wardrobe supplied is defective. The back panel is cardboard only. It's very thin. Even on slight pressure it's getting moved. It is not even firm. It can be broken easily with a punch.

      The company website mentions the thickness of the wood as 15mm. However, the back panel is hardly 3-4 mm in thickness.

      I would like to return it and get a refund. Or else the back panel should be replaced with a solid ply.

        fungus on daiki queen bed ordered from pepperfry

        Address: Raigad, Maharashtra, 400702

        Order (O. No[protected] daiki queen bed on 10-may-18 and delivered to my doorstep on 18-may-2018. Need to assembled my own since they can deliver product to my door-step but cannot send carpenter to my location.

        After usage of 90 days, white/black fungus was all over bed top, side and spoiled my mattress. Could also affect health if not noticed on time.

        Bought bed and 2 wardrobe 6 doors, the bed is totally defective and broken. The wardrobe has thin sheets of a low quality secondary material, also they have provided plastic lock and key none of this was mentioned in the product description on the website or the pepperfry vadodara studio and so they mislead the consumers saying its engineered wood on all sides which in reality is not. The items do not match the description and are not at all up to the mark.

        The products were delivered on 26august 2018 and since than i am in touch with the pepperfry team but have got no response from them till date.

        I demand a complete refund of my money, have purchased goods approx 50000 inr and this is what i get? Plastic locks and key and third class wardrobe with sheets that are as good as cardboard sheets none of this info was mentioned in the product description nor did the pepperfry studio manager mr dhaval rana disclose all the facts pertaining to the low quality of the products. This clearly shows how pepperfry cheats and misleads the consumer till date i have not got any reply from the company.
        I demand a full refund asap highly disappointed by pepperfry.

          Based on my past experience (each time it was horrendous, first waiting for endlessly for the delivery and then followup rigoreously for the carpenter to come and assemble the items orders) this time I wanted to ensure the product delivered will be verified by the carpenter so that later he would not take money from customers stating few parts (Nuts/Bolts etc) are missing, hence customer is being charged.

          I placed order 15 Aug 2018. (Even there was fraud - first the delivery date was given as next day, and the prize was shown different), but when I placed the order (Made the payment), I was shown higher price and also the delivery date was shown one week later.

          17 Aug: I was given a call regarding the delivery of the book shelf I ordered (Order Number[protected], that the delivery will be made on 18th Aug (Sat) he said the standard delivery time is between 11-4. I requested him, as I will have to go out, I requested him to arrange for the delivery before 2pm for which he agreed.

          18 Aug: I got two sms, one was the contact number of the person who would deliver, and the second number was the carpenter. I tried calling both these numbers but the numbers were either constantly busy or they were rejecting my calls. At 1:30 the delivery person received my call and said he is in Nerul and by 4pm he would be able to deliver. I told him about my request to delivery by 2pm as I had to go out. But as usual, these are group o[censored]nethical and unprofessional goons said he would be delivering only by 4. Then I told him, since the carptenter is not picking my call, I asked him to co-ordinate with him and get him along which he agreed. But despite of me waiting, he did not deliver, he stopped picking my calls too.

          18 Aug: I called customer care and spoke to Valencia Miranda, who seemed a complete new staff, she neither had capabilities to understand nor provide a clear answer. She assured me she would be ensuring the delivery and assembling would be made on 18th. I told her if it does not happen, then I would like to cancel the order. I asked for the manager for which she said Manager would be calling me next day, until date I havent received any call from anyone.

          21 Aug: I received a call from someone informing me about the delivery of the shelf to be made on 22nd, for which I replied him, since 4-5 days I am told the same thing but sofar the delivery and assembling has not been made. He said he would do the delivery by 22 Aug in the first half, for which I agreed.

          22 Aug: The delivery person called me at 10am asking me if he can deliver the box before 12, for which I replied him, I want the carpenter to check and confirm that all the parts are there, only then I would be confirming the receipt of the order. He replied, the carpenter is local carpenter and would be available in 30 minutes. I told him - it is standard statement I hear each time but in reality it will be then left on the mercy of the carpenter to decide which day and time he would be interested to visit and do the assembling. Hence I asked him to come along with the carpenter by 12noon.

          22 Aug: The delivery guy came at 11:45 but carpenter was not there, he again started telling me the same story; 'The carpenter is on his way, he will be reaching in 15-20 minutes' for which I asked him to wait for 15-20 minutes so that he can check and I then confirm the delivery. He said he has to make delivery of other items, but I told him you may leave the items and come later to take my signature, by then the carpenter would have assembled. Then he called the carpenter and I could hear their conversation - the carpenter was not in a mood to come that day, but the delivery man said the carpenter is coming in 30 minutes and asked me to confirm the receipt, I still refused saying - unless I ensure the packed box is not damaged and all parts are availble, I can not confirm. I also explained him the last few horrible experiences I had with pepperfry. He then took the box and said by evening he would be delivering the same. But since then nothing has been done.

          This is truly frustrating to see a group of thungs taking customers for granted, they neither understand customer'r pain, and a group o[censored]nprofessional support staff truly frustrating customers. It is more than a week and I still have no clarity about the refund. I approached police commissior who suggested me to approach consumer court as they usually do not handle such cases, I have lost 5 days waiting for the delivery and assembly from pepperfry. I wonder a brand like pepperfry is doing this.

          I want a complete refund for the order I placed and paid the payment. Not ever would I be approaching pepperfry for the past experiences (Consistently unprofessionalism and unethical)

          But status of customer: NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE, NEITHER THEY HAVE WILL TO UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER GRIEVANCE NOR RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

          These are the Request Numbers sent by Pepperfry since I made the payment through online. But till date (25 Aug) nothing has been done by them.

          And I guarantee you, they do not care customers, but a groupt of professional thugs. Despite of wasting my 4 full days with a promise of a delivery and assembly from carpenter within an hour. Today call centre executive calls me and requesting me to accept the delivery and wait for the carpter's mercy and hope the carpenter arrives if he wishes to assemble. What a shameless team of professionals, after wasting my 4 days they have NO SHAME TO CALL AND ASK ME TO WASTE FEW MORE DAYS?

            Bought a bed from pepperfry. While buying i had asked both the customer care and carpenter about the quality of them bed and lifetime and they both said 3-5 years etc. But within 4 months the slabs of the bed have broken. The local carpenter says that the wood was not of good quality. The refund account manager agrees to it but has denied any sort of replacement as their policy for the same is only 7 days after that they only cover lose bolts for the 12 months warranty. Need help with the same.

              Case reference #[protected]fu1520639-s-pm1499. The items do not match the pattern we expected. Also, there was an issues with the fabric of the cushion material (Acrylic) which irritated my wife's skin.

              I received a curt reply saying that the return was not acceptable as it did not meet pepperfry returns policy.

              I have never experienced such poor customer service. Amazon puts pepperfry to shame.

              Their claim of 'easy returns' is misleading and they are mis-selling their goods.

              Base on this experience, its another customer lost to them.

              This matter has now been resolved. After further heated phone calls, I eventually received a call from a Pepperfry Senior. She was very professional and empathetic. She agreed to refund the purchase in full, which I should receive this week.

              If that's the case, ansd I receive the refund, then I will remain a customer of pepperfry.

              The goods I have purchase dto date from this company:, dining table and chairs, TV stand, bedding, clock, and pendant lights have been very good buys.

              Would give 5 stars, but monies not yet received!

              They just need to make their returns policy clear to their customers...that the return policy only applies under certain conditions!

                I have ordered the "poland ergonomic chair in black colour by chromecraft" from pepperfry order id:[protected], i was surprised to see that delivery date is one month from the date of booking, i had asked them to cancel the order which is not yet delivered, pepperfry is denying. They don't even have easy way to cancel the order, you need to make time & call them, there is no diy way.

                  I requested for the order placed on 29th July'18 at 10pm to be cancelled, however your customer care executive Sana said it can't be done. I checked the status and it shows the same status since 29th July'18 (order confirmed) I was very honest that I had ordered for a sofa through another online website. I had ordered for 1 single seater sofa and 1 two seater sofa. The single seater was delivered and the 2 seater was cancelled by the other company. This is the reason I ordered for another sofa through your website, however I just received a call from blue dart stating the sofa which I had ordered from the other company is out for delivery and will be delivered today. If you had already shipped the sofa I can understand that it cannot be cancelled, however the status for the last 2 days has been the same (order confirmed) it is not yet shipped. Request you to look into this and help.

                    I had ordered a shoe rack of 10, 000 and it was received and assembled by someone else in my home as i was out for my honeymoon during that time. Since this was supposed to be a wedding gift, we didn't have much idea about the size of the rack. Once we arrived back and saw the same, we realized its pretty small than what we expected. Ofcourse the return period had already gone.
                    I have at least ordered 5-6 things from pepperfry from multiple accounts for my home during this period.
                    All i need is a small favor in which if the "new" shoe rack can be taken and i will buy one of same or more prize instead of that!
                    Please help me in that coz i will really be grateful.
                    I know your policies, etc but this is a favor being asked from a very regular customer, hoping for a positive response!

                      I had placed an order for honey oak finish side table from perpperfry which was delivered as per timeline. However the drawers. Had defect as it would get stuck. The carpenters were sent twice but was un repairable. Finally they replaced on 7th july 2018 the product but with differenet finish (Teak ginish). Its been almost a month that i have been follwing with the customer care team with the picture of tge product order vs delivered and also the colour of the bed and every time they respond stating its a correct product delivered n they close the case... Today finally o gt the email stating that as the policy has 7 days replaceme t window they cant process my case

                        The order is of non std size and having too large gaps between the bars that any kind of mattress is falling through it hence i had initiated a return the very next day after delivery. But there has been no action from the side of pepperfry.

                        I have been running after them for my money. Please help me out in this case

                          I had ordered a table lamp on June, the 18th ( order ID[protected]. The product was delivered on the 29th June in a damaged condition. I reported the matter to pepperfry requesting a refund. Mr. Karanveer Singh, account manager agreeded to have the damaged lamp picked up and a full refund. However, despite numerous emails and phone calls neither the damaged lamp has been picked up nor my money refunded. I am at my wit's end with with them. I have dealt with a company as fradulent as pepperfry. Very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.

                            The cabinet was ordered on 15th June and arrived on 26th June with one foot broken so the carpenter sent it back. We assumed it will be replaced. But after waiting for 3 weeks and no communication from the company finally we contacted the company (pepperfry) and realised that they were aware but had not done anything about it. The customer complain Number promised to revert with the issue within 24 hours which happened in 26. Gayatri from the Returns team spoke and said they would refund the money in 48 hours as there is no chance of a replacement. Now we have lost all this time and will have to look all over again. The funny part is had I not called the company, they would have not bothered. Had they notified me at that time I would have not lost my 3 weeks. Their only standard tape is we are sorry and we understand your problem (I wish they can cover up for my lost time) Am very unhappy with the returns policy and feeling absolutely cheated about not being contacted about the returned product. Unfortunately Gayatri was the highest point of contact and she wasn’t very apologetic either. Am very peeved by this event.

                              Pepperfry is number one chor and biggest cheaters - i'm sorry to say... Real pathetic working attitude of your company and don’t confuse me with the facts! I know very well now i have been cheated by pepperfry. There is no label found on the product roxx. Even there no separate box for jars, all jars with any company label sold to me. The quality of the product is very poor. Pepperfry seems to be making money like this solding local prodct.

                              Pepperfry is fraud company who cheated their client. I want return my order and refund my money back asap okay!!

                              I do not buy or suggest anyone for purchasing anything from your website in the future, pl do immediately....

                                I have ordered an engineered wood book shelf from pepper fry this January (6months back). The shelves inside is bent and doesnt seem to be of good quality. I have requested for a resolution since the warranty is of 3 years. However the customer care executive told me its wear and tear issue and denied the replacement / refund for the item.the initial reason they have told me was that it’s was due to monsoon it’s showing the damage when I questioned it they have changed their answer to wrong usage I questioned that as well saying bookshelf’s are meant to hold books and it should do that properly they changed the answer to wear and tear and hence warranty is void
                                Such a stupid customer care and after sales team along with sub standard poor quality items gives the customer a night mare and absolute headache !! Worst experience

                                I had ordered furniture for 2 bedrooms - beds, side tables, dressers and a wardrobe of Amberville from Pepper Fry in Oct 17 at their studio in Mumbai for my house in Goa. From Day 1 my experience with them has not been satisfactory. They refused to put up a mirror of the dresser on the wall saying that was not their job. A latch of the cupboard would not close and no one was sent to fix it - finally got it done myself and worst of all when I went to clean the area below the bed recently after pulling out the storage drawers I noticed some powder from the leg below. On reporting the matter no one was sent to check out the problem and a reverse pickup (which I did not understand) was initiated by my supposedly relationship manager who threatened to have the bed picked up immediately as it was infested by termites according to him without any investigation. As my mattress, dresser and side tables would go to waste I was forced to order another bed much to my dissatisfaction of the same finish which has cost me an additional 5500 since no replacement was available and I was told that it could take approx 45 days to come into stock again if at all. When asked why I had to pay the difference for no fault of my own I was given excuses. Whenever I made a call since the relationship manager only sent SMS messages and emails I was asked to run from pillar to post - the sales girl in the studio had quit and the new guy said he has no powers and only my relationship manager could do the needful. The relationship Manager in Goa who is most uncooperative and unhelpful now advises that the Customer Care representative only has the authority to waive this amount (I do not know who this person is) and that I should have ordered the new piece at the studio even though he knows that I am right now very much in Goa.
                                I thought that buying furniture on Pepperfry which bombards me with ads would save me the hassle of making quality furniture at home but seeing the finished products (specially the size of the drawers, a movable mirror on the dresser where you cannot see your face, etc.) I would seriously not recommend it to anyone ever again. To add to all of this their customer service is pathetic and their providers are not available in the public domain.

                                  The product page did not mention "fitted elasticated" bedsheet. Product page on pepperfry website can be referred for the same. Refer image uploaded

                                  But what i have received is a fitted elasticated version of the said bedsheets as can be seen from the image uploaded. And that is of no use to me.
                                  I am a fairly regular customer of pepperfry and find their attitude pretty unprofessional in not agreeing to my return request.

                                    This is our first purchase from pepperfry and we had a horrible experience. Just 3 months of bare minimum usage and suddenly the settee just broke off injuring my 4 year old daughter badly on the head while she just went to sit on it which she normally does not. Our mistake was that we never checked it when delivered and kept it in its original packing inside a closed room as our house was getting furnished believing the delivery boys when they said it was intact piece. And when we raised a complaint with pepperfry they say they cant do anything of it as they feel its wear & tear. How pathetic it can be!! We have barely used it and we dont have over sized people at our house or junglee kids to break it. We have barely used the product and its just been 3 months!! If it was wear & tear it would have not broken this way.. Infact both the legs would have broken. Its the most easiest way out to push the damage on the consumer so that the company does not have to bear any loss. Hope you can help me get this settled. Infact we have furniture from homecentre & urbanladder which we have been using for 7 years & 2 years respectively but touch wood they are as good as new.

                                      I had ordered a table last night. Within half an hour, i had dropped an email requesting cancellation. Today, i had a chat with two of their customer executives. One of them was extremely rude to me. "you should have thought before purchasing...", "you should have read our policies". I requested a call with the manager and they told me that they don't have the authority to do that.

                                      What kind of service is this?

                                      And their cancellation policy makes no sense. I am not getting pleasure out of this situation either. I ordered something which i do not need. And i cancelled within minutes. And the delivery is days from now.

                                      I see there are numerous complaints online regarding their cancellation policy.
