I had placed an order for honey oak finish side table from perpperfry which was delivered as per timeline. However the drawers. Had defect as it would get stuck. The carpenters were sent twice but was un repairable. Finally they replaced on 7th july 2018 the product but with differenet finish (Teak ginish). Its been almost a month that i have been follwing with the customer care team with the picture of tge product order vs delivered and also the colour of the bed and every time they respond stating its a correct product delivered n they close the case... Today finally o gt the email stating that as the policy has 7 days replaceme t window they cant process my case

    Given below are the details of my two orders both of which are having issues.

    The order is of non std size and having too large gaps between the bars that any kind of mattress is falling through it hence i had initiated a return the very next day after delivery. But there has been no action from the side of pepperfry.

    The order has not been delivered and it is showing delivered. I was told that a refund would be given to me but even after twenty days nothing?

    I have escalated the complaint to the highest level to which an issue can be escalated in peppefry (As told by mr vipul from the customer care center who refuses to give the email id of nodal officer).

    I have been running after them for my money. Please help me out in this case

      I had ordered a table lamp on June, the 18th ( order ID[protected]. The product was delivered on the 29th June in a damaged condition. I reported the matter to pepperfry requesting a refund. Mr. Karanveer Singh, account manager agreeded to have the damaged lamp picked up and a full refund. However, despite numerous emails and phone calls neither the damaged lamp has been picked up nor my money refunded. I am at my wit's end with with them. I have dealt with a company as fradulent as pepperfry. Very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.

        The cabinet was ordered on 15th June and arrived on 26th June with one foot broken so the carpenter sent it back. We assumed it will be replaced. But after waiting for 3 weeks and no communication from the company finally we contacted the company (pepperfry) and realised that they were aware but had not done anything about it. The customer complain Number promised to revert with the issue within 24 hours which happened in 26. Gayatri from the Returns team spoke and said they would refund the money in 48 hours as there is no chance of a replacement. Now we have lost all this time and will have to look all over again. The funny part is had I not called the company, they would have not bothered. Had they notified me at that time I would have not lost my 3 weeks. Their only standard tape is we are sorry and we understand your problem (I wish they can cover up for my lost time) Am very unhappy with the returns policy and feeling absolutely cheated about not being contacted about the returned product. Unfortunately Gayatri was the highest point of contact and she wasn’t very apologetic either. Am very peeved by this event.

          Pepperfry is number one chor and biggest cheaters - i'm sorry to say... Real pathetic working attitude of your company and don’t confuse me with the facts! I know very well now i have been cheated by pepperfry. There is no label found on the product roxx. Even there no separate box for jars, all jars with any company label sold to me. The quality of the product is very poor. Pepperfry seems to be making money like this solding local prodct.

          Pepperfry is fraud company who cheated their client. I want return my order and refund my money back asap okay!!

          I do not buy or suggest anyone for purchasing anything from your website in the future, pl do immediately....

            I have ordered an engineered wood book shelf from pepper fry this January (6months back). The shelves inside is bent and doesnt seem to be of good quality. I have requested for a resolution since the warranty is of 3 years. However the customer care executive told me its wear and tear issue and denied the replacement / refund for the item.the initial reason they have told me was that it’s was due to monsoon it’s showing the damage when I questioned it they have changed their answer to wrong usage I questioned that as well saying bookshelf’s are meant to hold books and it should do that properly they changed the answer to wear and tear and hence warranty is void
            Such a stupid customer care and after sales team along with sub standard poor quality items gives the customer a night mare and absolute headache !! Worst experience

            I had ordered furniture for 2 bedrooms - beds, side tables, dressers and a wardrobe of Amberville from Pepper Fry in Oct 17 at their studio in Mumbai for my house in Goa. From Day 1 my experience with them has not been satisfactory. They refused to put up a mirror of the dresser on the wall saying that was not their job. A latch of the cupboard would not close and no one was sent to fix it - finally got it done myself and worst of all when I went to clean the area below the bed recently after pulling out the storage drawers I noticed some powder from the leg below. On reporting the matter no one was sent to check out the problem and a reverse pickup (which I did not understand) was initiated by my supposedly relationship manager who threatened to have the bed picked up immediately as it was infested by termites according to him without any investigation. As my mattress, dresser and side tables would go to waste I was forced to order another bed much to my dissatisfaction of the same finish which has cost me an additional 5500 since no replacement was available and I was told that it could take approx 45 days to come into stock again if at all. When asked why I had to pay the difference for no fault of my own I was given excuses. Whenever I made a call since the relationship manager only sent SMS messages and emails I was asked to run from pillar to post - the sales girl in the studio had quit and the new guy said he has no powers and only my relationship manager could do the needful. The relationship Manager in Goa who is most uncooperative and unhelpful now advises that the Customer Care representative only has the authority to waive this amount (I do not know who this person is) and that I should have ordered the new piece at the studio even though he knows that I am right now very much in Goa.
            I thought that buying furniture on Pepperfry which bombards me with ads would save me the hassle of making quality furniture at home but seeing the finished products (specially the size of the drawers, a movable mirror on the dresser where you cannot see your face, etc.) I would seriously not recommend it to anyone ever again. To add to all of this their customer service is pathetic and their providers are not available in the public domain.

              I had ordered for green cotton queen size bed sheet - set of 3 by swayam
              Vide order no[protected]
              The product page did not mention "fitted elasticated" bedsheet. Product page on pepperfry website can be referred for the same. Refer image uploaded

              But what i have received is a fitted elasticated version of the said bedsheets as can be seen from the image uploaded. And that is of no use to me.
              I am a fairly regular customer of pepperfry and find their attitude pretty unprofessional in not agreeing to my return request.

                This is our first purchase from pepperfry and we had a horrible experience. Just 3 months of bare minimum usage and suddenly the settee just broke off injuring my 4 year old daughter badly on the head while she just went to sit on it which she normally does not. Our mistake was that we never checked it when delivered and kept it in its original packing inside a closed room as our house was getting furnished believing the delivery boys when they said it was intact piece. And when we raised a complaint with pepperfry they say they cant do anything of it as they feel its wear & tear. How pathetic it can be!! We have barely used it and we dont have over sized people at our house or junglee kids to break it. We have barely used the product and its just been 3 months!! If it was wear & tear it would have not broken this way.. Infact both the legs would have broken. Its the most easiest way out to push the damage on the consumer so that the company does not have to bear any loss. Hope you can help me get this settled. Infact we have furniture from homecentre & urbanladder which we have been using for 7 years & 2 years respectively but touch wood they are as good as new.

                  I had ordered a table last night. Within half an hour, i had dropped an email requesting cancellation. Today, i had a chat with two of their customer executives. One of them was extremely rude to me. "you should have thought before purchasing...", "you should have read our policies". I requested a call with the manager and they told me that they don't have the authority to do that.

                  What kind of service is this?

                  And their cancellation policy makes no sense. I am not getting pleasure out of this situation either. I ordered something which i do not need. And i cancelled within minutes. And the delivery is days from now.

                  I see there are numerous complaints online regarding their cancellation policy.

                  Thanks for ensuring this would be my first and last interaction with you, pepper fry.

                    I ordered a king size bed from pepper fry.com - https://www.pepperfry.com/garren-king-size-bed-with-storage-in-wenge-color-by-ho...

                    As per attached image from the website, there is storage space under the bed with the base connected to bed.

                    When I received the product, I was shocked to see that the storage space was just simple thin sheets which are not even connected to the bed and are simply placed on the floor (see attached images). This cannot be called as a storage space and is definitely not same as the product shown on their website.

                    I raised a return request with pepperfry.com but they are stating this is a standard product and cannot be returned.

                    Please help resolve this issue.

                      Today i placed an order:[protected]Eveready led bulb combo 14w - 6500k pack of 3) qty 2 for rs 1071.
                      After placing the order i realized that i placed order on a wrong company with wrong number of qty.
                      So i wanted to cancel it. But i could not find any provision on their portal for it.
                      I called their support center on[protected] and inquired about cancellation, mr. Anorooth confirmed the above.
                      I requested to manually cancel the order and do reverse payment. He refused since it is against their policy.
                      I talked to his manager mr. Vincent to insists on my view about cancellation of my order, as exists in all the other online shops.
                      He again reconfirmed what his staff already said, that is "it is against their policy".

                      I escalated this to their customer support [protected]@pepperfry.com email.
                      I requested to escalate to their management to cancel my order for refund and also to incorporate the provision for customer online cancellation.

                      Pepperfry being a furniture selling company, try to use their outdated policy for online shopping.
                      This is against the interest of online users and unacceptable policy.

                      So request you to pressure them to modify their policy and make it competitive and acceptable to the internet age.

                        I have placed two hanging lights order number:[protected]. We wanted to have this for our new home, and this is getting delivered two weeks after housewarming. They don't have patience to talk to customer or assure the product will get delivered soon. Never seen any company who don't have an option to escalate the issue. Even though you have genuine reason to cancel the order.

                        As a customer i am giving them alternative solution, even i asked them to place something which gets delivered sooner they are not ready to do that i even ask them to not to refund just put that money in wallet and i'll buy something else for this also they do not have an option. Even if you try to be patience and give them option they are not ready to take it up. Very frustrated dealing with their customer service

                        Please do not buy anything from this fraud company. They only think about making money. If they can't listen to customer i don't think they are planning to stay relavent in the market.

                          The customer service is pathetic. I don't understand this online store as there is no return policy.

                          We had bought hanging lights from pepperfry online store. Order number[protected]. After the booking the delivery date showed 3weeks delay so we decided to cancel the order. Unfortunately this special online store doesn't have return policy nor exchange policy. We even requested to put the money in their so that we shall order something later. They said this is their "so called policy" which has no return n no exchange.

                          I suggest you never order anything from this store. There is no return policy nor exchange policy adding on to it it has the worst customer service.

Now we are facing problem coz the wardrobe door is not getting closed.

                              Wrote a kinda review here, not hoping these guys would solve my complaint, but the fellow c=customers could be helped.

                              They not even called or mailed me a single time, i already threw away the bean bags bought from pepperfry… that's another forgotten story.

                              Amid all this, today i could see my complaint or review against pepperfry marked as resolved without my intervention at all. Also mailed the support team of consumer complaints website to check the same and re-open it.
                              Till date they didn't give any kind of response, except trying to build image here on this website by writing a reply to my comments. Instead they could
                              Check the products they are selling and mess up customer's life.

                                I have placed an order on 24th apr 2018 which delivered on 9th may in damaged condition. Whole dining table set is termite infested and due to that damage my home furniture got affected for which pepperfry is not ready for compensation and refund too.

                                Their employees are too rude.

                                It's been more than month now i was waiting for mutual resolution but pepperfry forced me to file fir against and for legal notice which i have issued.

                                I hope online consumer court try to resolve this issue before court proceedings.

                                  I ordered this item on pepperfry on 10th Jun and item delivered at my address on 14th Jun. The item was completely damaged/mashed condition, hence, I placed return/exchange request immediately on very same day along with an image of delivered item. I called pepperfry customer care team many times and every time I was assured to get a call from their return dept as customer care team cant do anything in this matter but I never get any call, however, to my surprise while calling to pepperfry again, they just lie to me as put attempts for calling since I didnt get any call except an pre drafted email stating that my item cant be returned.

                                  I tried to escalate this to company grievance office Ms Heena sohandani, however, didnt get any response except the same auto generated mail for unable to return the item.
                                  the company has cheated as the item shown in picture was not at all what I was delivered and post placing return request, customer service team (who I tried 4-5 times) are started misbehaving and kept me on hold for hours without even bothered.

                                    This is in reference to my order id:[protected] on m/s pepper fry, mumbai
                                    The online ordered item is described as “stainless steel insulated hot and cold sipper water bottle”. Anyone would understand it as a stainless steel water bottle.
                                    Please note the vendor has made no mention of plastic bottle.
                                    Please have a look at the photograph attached of the item, which was delivered to me. It has a plastic bottle inside and has only a cover of stainless steel.in effect, it is a plastic bottle covered by a stainless steel cover only. I am not interested in water stored in a plastic bottle with only a cover of stainless steel. Thus, it is mislead and wrong description. Thus, i am compelled to return the items. I would like to return the items and get refund of the amount.

                                      I ordered 3 tables and tried cancelling 2 of them. But i am not able to cancel any orders. Please help. I have sent emails to founders, hopefully they respond.

                                      I was not aware of these unique return policy's, they have advertisement saying easy 7 day return policy. I feel cheated
                                      All major websites have cancellation policies.
                                      Please please help.

                                        Falling prey to the big brand name i. E pepperfry i ordered a sofa on 11th may 2018 order id[protected] which was supposed to be delivered by 8th june 2018 on not receiving the product even after committed date i called there customer care and requested to cancel the order mr alex there representative after much argument confirmed cancellation and asked me to wait for 24 hours to receive cancellation confirmation. After a day i received call from there cancellation manager ms vandana who was very rude and forced me to take the delivery and even offered a discount of further 15% to lure me which i very politely declined then she said she will check as why the order wasn't delivered on time and will get back to me with all the telephonic recordings but after a while she called and failing to share any call recordings very rudely told me that order can not be cancelled for reasons best known to her. It's been over a month now and my money is struck with pepperfry and i don't even have the product. I feel cheated by the brand which claims free delivery and easy returns. Pls help.
