It's been around 5 minutes, i placed a order with pepperfry.com and i want to cancel the order. Pepperfry customer care says they don't have cancellation policy. The item it not even shipped.

Spoke to customer care and they are blatantly denying to cancel the order. This is arrogance at its best. Anti-competitive, anti-consumer in my opinion. There's not one other e-comm site that has this arrogant policy.

    The Product was purchased for Rs.9999 on 13 March 2018. The product is being used as a corner table and is practically unused. However the product has expanded and has developed cracks at the sides.

    The carpenter from pepperfry visited on 10 June 2018 and admitted its defective wood which will keep expanding and there is no point in repairing the product.

    I however received a message from pepperfry stating that the damage to the product is due to normal wear and tear and they cannot process the return request.

    Post calling the customer service desk multiple times I was connected to Mr. Amarjeet Arora who stated that the carpenter has only reported that the product is non-repairable and He (Mr. Amarjeet Arora) decided that the damage is due to normal wear and tear.

    I find such statement to be epitome of high-handedness and arrogance and I’m surprised at the confidence with which the staff make such remarks. The carpenter clearly said that product can be repaired but it would crack again as it would keep expanding. As such, the statement being made by Mr. Arora is a blatant lie.

    Moreover how can someone sitting in office, without consulting the carpenter decide on the reason for damage of the product.

    The product is unused as it is being used only as a corner-table to beautify the house. I have a separate center-table which is also purchased from pepperfry at the same time (refer the same order id). Being unused, except for the expansion and visible cracks; the product is still in immaculate condition and the shine of the product is also intact.

    Basis my experience I’m compelled to believe that product automatically expanding within a couple of months is normal for pepper-fry quality expectation. Also each time I call the previous complaints are closed and shown as resolved and a fresh complaint is logged. The online ‘escalate to founders’ function does not work.

    I’m shocked to be recipient of such product and service quality from a company of this repute. Hoping someone addresses my issue satisfactorily before I’m compelled to seek suitable recourse under law.

      I placed an order with pepperfry and by mistake i ordered the wrong sized item. I realized my mistake and called them to cancel within 10 minutes of placing the order.

      The items are scheduled for shipping only after 2 days. However, pepperfry refused to cancel the order.

      I had called within 10 minutes and had to stay on hold for more than 5 minutes. I am surprised that when the item is not shipped, they are not ready to cancel.

        Extremely passive CUSTOMER CARE. You have to keep poking them to get one step ahead. I bought a shoe rack and it was damaged. Same day i requested for return/replacement. Around 20 days over but nothing is happening.

          My order id is[protected] it us a defected piece and i wanted it to be returned but its been nearly 20 days no body has done anything regarding this... Very bad service, bad quality, bad responce no help from the pepperfry team. I talked to gayatri from the management and many other from the pepperfry team but no body would help me regarding my problem. They would just keep telling me we tried to contact you but could not get through every time the same line.. Every single time. Will never go for this pepperfry not a trusted name at all.

            This company is a big scam, comlplete payment done but product not recieved.
            Such worst services i have not seen in my life time, how can you not deliver product even after getting complete payment.

            My order hasn't been delivered, but their online system shows as delivered. Even the customer service (phone) says it was delivered.
            Sent a complaint, but hasn't received any response.
            Their phone based systems have an average wait period of 15 minutes!!
            A very bad experience for a first time customer.

              I ordered order id 30408067 a watch from pepperfry it is wrong or damaged product. Totally useless. After that pepperfry declined return request and advise contact directly to manufacture. Manufacturer is somebody roadside company which is don't have any customer care and talking like a rubbish.
              Now i decided to file a complaint against pepperfry in cusumer court and cancel my all order which is i am already placed by not accept on delivery.

                This is in regards to my order #[protected], which i have placed on 20th may for a
                Office chair, but due to urgent business trip out of the country i asked them to cancel.
                Customer service behaved in a arrogant way mentioning they cannot cancel the order as per policy.
                How will i accept the product now?? What kind of policy you, which harasses the customer??
                I even asked for gift card conversion which was also denied, even shipment
                To home city was not considered. I at least asked to expedite the delivery which was also not considered.

                This is the last time i purchasing anything from pepperfry, i also recommend the same to family and friends.

                Policies should be there to help customer, not to harass or put them in trouble.

                  Today i have received one bed and dining table... Bed has many scratches and dining table is also partially damaged... We immediately called to customer care and asked them to cancel our third product over which they replied they don't have cancellation policy... We are struggling hard to return these substandard products and need help to get our refund... We paid in total 40, 000 rs for all these products and pepperfry is playing with the emotions and hard earned money of people... We need justice asap

                    Customer Care is unreachable as the number that I used to call earlier[protected] just plays hold announcements and gives wait times of "greater than 20 minutes"

                    Second, I sold some old furniture through their site and was given a gift card in value of 1500 which I have NEVER been successful in using for buying anything from their website. So in essence they have robbed the money.
                    Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                    Pathetic fraud company with cheep customer care service - they just make people fool and earn money please never ever buy anything from here !!
                    I never knew pepperfry has such slow delivery.
                    I am not in town for a month after 11th June and how can one item take half a month to get delivered . Please do something and get it delivered by next week.
                    If I noticed this before I wouldn't have ordered .

                      Four Door Wardrobe ordered under ID No[protected] was received on 15th May 2018. Item Opened on 20th May for assembly, found two of the panels cracked/damaged. Item return and refund requested on same day, acknowledged by Pepperfry. Same day customer care called back and promised to collect back item and refund in 48 hrs. On 22nd May additional photos were requested and sent on same day, acknowledged by Pepperfry. Every time I sent mail to check status of my return and refund request, auto reply of " will revert in 48Hrs" is sent to me. When called customer care, the case handling person Mr Naresh tells that will collect the item in 48 hrs. This 48 Hrs business is never ending. I have holding a huge parcel at my home for last 9 days and waiting for it to be collected back by Pepperfry.

                      I want defective item to be taken back and amount to be refunded back to me.

                        I ordered queen size edwina bed from pepperfry. My order id:[protected].
                        On second day of order i changed mind due to my family dislike towards product, wanted to cancel it and 3 times i had contacted to pepperfry customer care. Even the product has not shipped, they are not ready to cancel my order.
                        What kind of customer freedom is this? Be aware of this fraud company. I am going to make my family and friends to stay away from this fraud company. That is our hard earned money. When all other platforms like flipkart, amazon are providing cancel option, why do pepperfry cheating us? Shame on you.

                          I was the one of mentality, that furniture should not be bought online but then i saw the ads about pepperfry about easy return for whatever reason.

                          Then i got convinced to buy online on pepperfry, and we bought a bolten king size bed with hydraulic storage in wenge finish by hometown.

                          We received the bed in damaged condition.

                          And when we requested for return of the product they denied saying the warranty by the vendor.

                          If they don't have easy returns like flipkart then why advertise falsely.

                          This is misguiding the consumer to make faulty decisions.

                          Please take strict actions on them regarding this as everyday people are getting trapped because of such advertisements.

                              I ordered a brown wood 9.6 inch wall clock on pepperfry on 5th may for inr 689/- and the delivery date was given as 16th may. Neither i have got the product nor the pepperfry.com people are giving my refund back. Such scamsters they are that they will fool you again and again but wont give you your money back. I request he authorites to take as strict action as possible and shut this mad house down.

But same time we got the coupon discount of 50% from the new login id of my friend nivedita...so we purchased from her I'd also...but nowwe want to cancel our first order which is costly than ... But CUSTOMER CARE executive saying we can't refund your money...u have to receive both the order...sametime ...But we are not in a condition to purchase 2same product... ... They are not refunding our money...guys never buy anything or any product from pepperfry..its a fake organisation n have ### rules. CUSTOMER CARE executive are not cooperate .. But I want my refund Asap. After purchasing the product within a day ...we called them for refund.. That time they didn't ship our order...still they are not refunding our money...                                     This company does not have the basics of customer service in place. They did not inform me what time the delivery will take place and i had to waste my whole day waiting for them. Finally i had to call them and i was told they had an emergency so they got delayed. I had to call them to find out instead of them informing me about the delay. I ordered a wardrobe from pepperfry which they proudly delivered to me on time only for us to discover that after their so called tedious quality control check turned out to be damaged.
                                    I asked for a refund of my purchase as their customer service told me point blank that there was no exchange for this particular product. Two days later when the delivery team came to pick up the wardrobe i was told that they did indeed have replacement for this product in their warehouse. So i graciously accepted their offer to bring me the replacement. All this has taken 8 days after they delivered the first time. Now after a continuous followup i have the replaced wardrobe only now i have to wait for their person to come and assemble it. Which is a vague promise from pepperfry. With so many contradictions its a wonder people are still buying from them with their disappointing service. I hope everyone reads this account of my experience with pepperfry before placing any orders with them and wasting their hard earned money on such shoddy and negligent service and products.

                                      I have purchased TheArmchair Dining Table set INR 38000 from Pepperfry.com which delivered with TERMITE INFESTED due to which my other furniture got infected.

                                      After raising return complaint I didn't receive reply for next 4 days from Pepperfry on5th day I got the response for asking more 2 days. In between these days my furniture got infected due their INFECTED prod, when I asked them for compensation they 1st denied after few days they were started to give me threatening calls, this spam was almost for 7 days after 7 days they informed me regarding the Supervisor who they wanted me to allow at my home. I Raed the Facebook complaint against the Pepperfry where one lady mentioned how the Pepperfry technician did the robbery at her home. It's totally not SAFE to allow them at your home. Then also I didn't deny.
                                      After that they asked me for Bill but when I asked about confirmation on compensation they were again not ready to give me assurance for the same.

                                      Now the time is I HAVE LOST MY PET TUFFY due to TERMITE INFESTED product and I don't know who will be the next.
                                      Society members are shouting me to dispose the product as they are suffering health issues due to this poisonous product.

                                      Pepperfry employees are giving me threatening calls too.
                                      Very RUDE while talking.

                                      If they are not doing anything wrong then why did they BLOCK Me on Twitter and Facebook when I raised complaint on social sites.

                                      Pepperfry still troubling me. Not giving satisfactory resolution.
                                      My Society members insisted me to clean the product for others safety.
                                      When my med started to clean she has fainted.
                                      Pepperfry does not afraid to anything and doesn't care for anything.

                                      Pepperfry.com Employee Gaurav Mishra sending unexpected emails instead of resolution.
                                      Pepperfry is spoiling our society's healthy atmosphere.
                                      If an unfortunate incident happened, Pepperfry will be responsible.
                                      It's been more than month now I have placed an order for but still didn't receive resolution.
                                      Situation is getting panic now.

                                      Pepperfry.com and Employee Gaurav Mishra harrassed me badly.
                                      I have filled FIR against Pepperfry.com to Vikhroli Mumbai Police and issue Legal Notice too as I was not getting resolution from Pepperfry.com with the help of Online Consumer Court.
                                      Ready for next level too. Will going to Sue them.

                                      It's been more than month now.. Resolution is not provided.. if consumer court is not able to give me justice then atleast let me know.

                                      I think I have to end my life then only I will get resolution.

                                        My pepperfry order number[protected] is supposed to get delivered by 19/05/2018. But delivery is still pending. There is no call or mail from the company for such delayed delivery. It is total harassment and unprofessional attitude from pepperfry.

                                        I want the order to get delivered within 48 hrs or refund of the whole order amount.

                                        Kindly make sure my complaint is attended soon and my problem is solved asap.
                                        Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
