I have a complaint against sofa cum bed.. It’s a defected piece, the carpenter has visited and said that it cannot be repaired. Kalpesh, gayatri account managers are not giving proper response. My no is [protected]. My order no is[protected].. The same sofa is not in stock i want a refund of my item. Mr abhishek pathak please look into the issue. I have registered the complaint within my warranty period. The sofa has a defect it bends from middle and makes a sound.

    I bought a platform wall clock, but now find that the clock is too big for my living room.

    I asked for return of the product, but they refused to entertain this request. They just sent an email saying that the product cannot be returned. There is no way to respond to the email since it is "no-reply" email id. They have also not updated the status of the return request on the order details on their website.

    Now, i am stuck with a clock which will be a waste of money, and i have to just trash it.

    So much for their "friendly" return policy, which is very very opaque.

    This is lousy website. Never order anything from them.

      I have made a order (Order id :[protected] in pepperfry for white fibre cushion filler - set of 5 on 28th april 2018 and it got delivered on 10th may 2018. Besides, only one cushion was in good condition and remaining all damaged/pressed in set of 5. And not in useful state.

      So, i made return request on the same day after calling the worst ever customer care of india. They also replied on the same day saying they wont accept return/refund and the product i received is a same product in their website.
      Again, i have called customer care on 13th may 2018 (Its not customer care, some thing else i can say *) so they arranged call back with a customer care manager who has rejected my return request (He is most intelligent guy ever born in the world next to pepperfry founder.) he said if i take the cushion out from the plastic cover it will blown up. Is there any cushion available in the market like that, just curious to know. Also attached received cushion fillers image.

      He said will not return/refund my amount and he disconnected the call while i was arguing on the matter.

      Finally, i came know these guys are "organized looters" in indian digital era, just google "pepperfry consumer complaints" you will get hell lot of complaints, one sample for reference

        Quality is worst, as getting damaged 1st day itself and manufactured defect is also there, it may cause injury, i[censored]sed. They refused to return even one year warranty was there, such a crooked fellow, seems they have started business to earn by cheating people. Almost all home durable I purchased online from flipkart, paytm and amazon, but never faced such issue.

          I don't remember of buying anything from pepperfry site. They just keep on sending sms advertisement. I went to their site to unsubscribe from their sms advertisements. They do give option to unsubscribe. But, it never works.

          Peppery fry is purposefully kept a software flaw so that nobody can unsubscribe from their sms advertisements. Pepper fry team is dreaming that they can sell their products by forcefully flooding messages to customers.

          Pepper fry team replied to complaints, but never have any email id or any source to unsubscribe. That indicates their intention, they don't want any customer escaping from their sms advertisements.

          I thank consumercomplaints.in for giving the opportunity to complaint about this idiotic people.

            This is regarding the return of an incomplete product that i received against an order for 4 products including wood block knives set i had placed in pepperfry.

            I received the product on 15th april 2018 and on the same day i had raised a return request. Till 9th of may 2018, no one from the returns team contacted me nor did they take any action.

            On speaking to pepperfry customer care executive on 10th may 2018, i understood that pepperfry team has closed the case mentioning not able to reach the customer (Which never happened - i did not receive any call nor mails apart from an automailer saying that they will take action). After discussing the issue in detail with pepperfry customer care executive, i was asked to upload the picture of the product before 16th april. I have done the same and i have received a response from pepperfry team mentioning that return request is outside 7 days, hence they cannot accept the return.

              I would like to replace the current mattress with the bigger size as the size i got is 72x72x8 but my bed is 78x72.
              I raised a retun request but prepperfry customer care is very rude and not helping me to retun the product.
              I got a call frm some representative name vipul and he was not at all helpfull.
              This is how pepperfry make customer relationship.
              I am not even asking to retur money, i am asking to replace with the new one.
              When i was buying this mattress there it was written that 7 days easy policy.

                I got the product on 5th May 2018 and they were supposed to send the assembly guy on 6th May.
                I almost did 5 to 6 call to pepperfry and everytime they said he is coming and will do the assembly. Atlast at evening 7 PM they are telling assembly guy met with an accident in afternoon so he cant come.. Then why in the first place you guys lied that he is on his way. I have have to wait for the complete week to get this assembly done. Worst experience never gonna buy any product from pepperfry.

                Exact same experience for me as well. They delivered a study table more than a week ago stating the assembly guy will come the next day. Nobody came. Numerous follow ups have yielded no results. The representative puts the CALL ON hold ( maybe does some timepass with colleagues around) and then comes back on call and says he has spoken to the carpentry team in Vadodara and the guy will come to assemble the unit tomorrow / today itself / in a couple of hours. Basically ###.

                Ultimately gave up and tried to assemble it on my own. It's too difficult. Now the parts are lying in one corner of my room. Wondering what to do next.

                PepperFry... continue this and your days in business are numbered. You're already in 3rd stage malignancy. Mark my words.

                  I raised complaint but they say its wear and tear issue.

                  Its a product defect not wear and tear issue. It got broken because of bad material. As per me its a manufacturing defect. Please check imahes properly. Its broken from into two parts y body pressure only. What kind of beds you provided and warranty should cover the product defect.
                  Dont buy any product from pepperfry.. They are bad and provide wrong details regarding warranty. I lost my trust on pepeerfry.. Too bad reply from them and no calls. Refrain from pepperfry..

                    I placed an order with pepperfry for a chair and a table. I realised that i do not need a chair on immediate basis and called them to cancel just the chair. This call was placed within 15 minutes of the order which included a waiting time of 12 minutes. (So effectively, the cancellation was initiated within 3 minutes of order placement)

                    The chair is scheduled to arrive in 3 weeks from the time of order placement.

                    I am surprised that the company does not have an immediate cancellation policy of 24 hours which almost all companies follow. This is absolutely ridiculous and absurd. I'm thinking of escalating this with higher authorities with regard to general consumer protection.

                    I have no choice but to accept my luck.

                      Hi, i had ordered a recliner for my dad and by mistake wrong address got selected in their app. I immediately called them to get it rescheduled to my dad's address, but they blatantly refuse to help. Such poor customer service. According to them, we are all superhumans who are not allowed to make mistakes. Their agent asks me to receive the order (Delivery of which is about 20 days away) and reship it to my dad's place. The order is not even shipped as yet. I don't understand the problem in rescheduling the request. Ridiculous. Stay away from this app.

                      Order was placed for 200ml jars but supplied is of 60ml requested for replacement but pepperfry has straight away refused for the same snapshots were also shaired with them, Wrong product supplied even after repeated reminders pepperfry is not responding for replacement, one has to be very careful while placing orders with pepperfry

                        I had booked a kiyoko study table on 10 april, 2018 from pepperfry but now it is may 4th and still i have not got my product neither any notification regarding it.
                        When i tracked my order on their website it is saying that it is still being shipped even though according to the website, it should have been by 2nd may. It's my first time booking a furniture through an online portal but such bad service is shouting to me that it was not a good decision.

                        A big thumbs down to pepperfry.

                          Ok So here is the issue, PepperFry online store has one of the worst customers experience when it comes to returns.

                          I was one of the regular customers who had purchased many items from them until that day when I ordered something and wanted to return the very moment I saw... what was delivered.

                          But here is the catch, Online Store like PepperFry have a very well defined strategy to ensure returns can never see the sun-light.

                          Here is how:

                          1. The return policy says 7 days from the date of receipt of the product please read here https://www.pepperfry.com/easy_returns.html?type=vip

                          2. At no point of time they mention that returning a product also means you need to upload the product images else the return will be automatically cancelled.

                          3. In case you fill there online form located for returns (see attached screen shot below) all fields are mandatory to fill except than (upload images of product, which as per #2 above is the only thing which will validate your return, else return will automatically be cancelled without any email or call or notification to you)

                          4. And all this time your user dashboard will show.. "Return Initiated" giving you a fake reason to believe in that your return is in progress. (screen shot attached)

                          5. You will get a confirmation email that someone will get back to you within 48 hours but no one calls or emails also (see screen shot attached)

                          So if you place an order and you received your item and want to return it the very same day DAY 1, you can only do it via online "Return this Item" and the form you fill will ask you for everything (name, order number, select reason for return) but never will request you to upload images (which indeed is the only important thing for the return else returns are automatically cancelled). After filling this form you will get a nice confirmation email from PepperFry with subject "Return Request Acknowledgement"

                          Your Request for ORDER #[protected]
                          Dear XYZ
                          Your Request for a return of Pepperfry order no:[protected] has been received. We’re on it. Allow us up to 48 hours to get back to you.
                          Regards
                          Team Pepperfry

                          But guess what??? No one will call or reply back to you. .. Cause the hidden magic here is that you never uploaded the images for this product for PepperFry team to even acknowledge your return.

                          Day 2, 3 are gone waiting for PepperFry Team to get back (as now you have an "Return Request Acknowledgement" email from them

                          After no one picks up the item on Day 4, 5 you try to wonder and login back to your dashboard to see your order order history showing "RETURN ALREADY INITIATED"

                          Now guess what you are sitting on DAY 7 thinking someone from courier will come and pick up the item soon... but guess what... TIMES UP!!!

                          As per return policy PepperFry very cleverly made sure that 7 days are passed and you can't return an item.

                          Such Cheat and wrong practices needs to be barred and people need to be made aware of such technology jigsaw puzzle these online estores created for simple customers to ensure they are profitable.

                          Please share this port on SocialMedia and other places and lets boycott buying from stores like PepperFry (A true CHEAT for Indian Public)

                            I ordered a Chair [order No[protected]] from Pepperfry on 5th-05-2018 in morning.

                            And the same day, in evening I changed my mind and tried to cancel the order from site, but there was no option to cancel the order so When I called the customer care, they are saying there is no policy for cancellation
                            when I check the delivery date is 1 month and shipment from a warehouse not yet done .
                            I am surprised that when the item is not shipped, they not ready to cancel.

                              I ordered a bed from pepper fry around 3 months back. Around a month back I started using it and realised in a day or two that the plank fixing was not proper. I reported the issue and pepper fry sent a carpenter to check. On checking Carpenter reported that the plank was not fixed properly as some screws were missed. Due to this snapping of the plank, some part of the side plank is damaged. On reporting the issue to pepper fry I requested them to fix this as this was not my fault and this happened. Now pepper fry is not accepting it saying that it falls under wear and tear category.
                              First of all I am not sure how it falls under wear and tear category as I didn’t even use it. And frankly speaking how can the bed be worn and torn within a span of 3 months only? That means the quality of products from pepper fry is like that.
                              On top of that customer care support is pathetic where in they are not helping at all. I am not sure where to escalate as it is online store.
                              I am extremely disappointed with their service.

                                My order is[protected] for bedsheet and my husband was not sure about the quality of the product so we want to cancel the order and make another one. But i couldn't not find any option to cancel so called up customer care he was so rude and said once the order is placed it's placed and it can neither be cancelled nor can be returned. So cheap response. I will never order from this site what should i do with the product which i dint liked. Keep it with you only. Don't send the product also i feel i donated money to road side pepperfry team. I will go to consumer court as well. Very disgusting and disappointed.

                                  I ordered 2 wall shelve products from pepperfry online shopping dated 9th september 2017 - order id:[protected] and both products were not as described in terms of size both were addressed using photo along with measureable tape on 23/9/2017.

                                  One of the product was canberra natural brown teak wood 5-tier wall shelf by divine decor. The case reference number is wr[protected].in which case seller directly contacted me & addressed the issue with correct size product replacement. I truly appreciate divine décor service & meeting my requirements, no doubt i had to wait almost 10 days for the service.

                                  But in case of another - black mdf 5-tier durable wall shelf by decornation. The case reference number is wr[protected]. Pepperfry declined to address the issue as below; even after repeated emails saying as per the policy product measurements is not as described, pepperfry did not address the issue. Its a huge loss & trauma that customers undergo because of wrong product delivery from pepperfy. Also many of friends faced similar issues so that is when i decided to complain on pepperfy.

                                  I would request peppery to investigate the issue & take back the product by refunding on the same. Let me know if something is wrong on my part and i'm ready for all kinds of investigation.

                                    Its about rhombus study table which i purchased from pepperfy.com

                                    - i ordered study table on 12th march 2018 through pepperfry.com (Orderid[protected]
                                    - i was notified tentative date for delivery is 19th to 25th march, but i didnt received it.
                                    - between 25th to 30th march i chased up multiple times with pepperfry and they always made fake promises that product will be shipped by next day. I raised request (Verbally) with them for refund but support person denied.
                                    - i waited patiently and after more than a month i got my delivery on 14th april 2018, i received my order, but to my shock it was damaged. I have raised refund request from the website on same day.
                                    - i waited for them to connect within 48 hours, i gave call and i got response from refund manager (Gayatri) stating they won't be able to refund since it is covered under hometown warrenty. Here are my points on which i argued with gayatri
                                    - nowhere it was mentioned that item doesn't qualifies for 7 day easy return policy
                                    - i have to deal with back and forth with pepperfry and hometown for my refund. It had costed me my valuable time and peace.
                                    - now damaged product is lying and taking up space at my home as i had already purchased study table from local vendor.

                                    I feel cheated with pepperfry and i won't recommend my friends and collegaues to do any kind of shopping from pepperfry website.
                                    I would like you to take serious action against this request which has caused so much problem to me, kindly revert by when i can expect my refund and we can close this complaint.

                                      I am reaching out to you as all my attempts were unsuccessful to get a resolution on my damaged product. I am extremely unhappy about this product of yours, the angelino bed ordered with order number[protected]. Both the legs under the headboard collapsed rendering the bed unusable. The plywood used for the head board is not of good quality and broke near the area where the legs are attached. Registered a support request with pepperfry and they sends out a carpenter for repair who certifies that this is non-repairable and updates pepperfry with pictures. However, pepperfry gets back saying that this come under normal wear and tear category and will not be covered under warranty. This issue is clearly because of the wood material/craftmanship which should be covered under warranty. They also informed that they could not help any further in this regard. This is totally not a customer friendly attitude. I requested for a replacement/refund, which was declined as well. I have attached the photos of the product.
