Hi team,

I have ordered two things in pepperfry.com. Below are the details for the same.
Order number[protected] – aquagrand plus freedom 12 l ro+uv+uf water purifier.
Order number[protected] v-guard springhot instant water heater 3 ltr.

These two products have been delivered but no one called me or responding for the assembling/installing these products.
Can you please help to check why not responding and when shall i expect executive to come and install the same.

Your swift response is highly appreciated.

    Had purchased online chest of drawers and a single wardrobe on 4th jan 2018, order no.[protected], with delivery date given between 15th to 17th january, 2018. However not delivered, called customer care, told will be delivered by 19th jan, not delivered, called customer care again on 20th jan, told will be delayed by 10 dqys from 20th jan,. Worst part is i have not been informed by pepperfry of any delays on both occasions. They do not bother about customers need and requirements. I have asked for cancellation of the order and given tha case ref no. As ma[protected], this was on 20th jan @ 1500 hrs, and was told that it will done within 24-48 hrs, since it is nearly 44hrs now and nobody has bothered to contact so far. Wondering the money is down the drain. Help required for refund.

      I had ordered for three types of cushions.
      1). White polyster 16 x 16 inch cushion fillers (Set of 5 by azaani) - cushions are completely compressed and has become flat like a carpet
      2). Brown velvet 16 x 16 inch donut pillow cushion covers with insert (By stybuzz) - this quality is like paper, doesn't feel like velvet at all
      3). Yellow velvet 14 x 14 inch kiss emoji cusion cover with insert (By stybuzz) - - this quality is like paper, doesn't feel like velvet at all

      After providing such bad quality cushions, they deny to accept returns.
      The customer service is so bad. They don't return the calls when they promise to call.

      Extremely unhappy with pepperfry.

      Note to all the online shoppers, avoid buying anything from pepperfry. They deliver real poor quality products and they don't accept the fact and deny to accept returns.

        Pepperfry does not put customers first. Their only prerogative is to make money. They are definitely not flexible to customer's needs in any way. They are not helpful on the phone. I finally spoke with a manager Sumit Majumdar who was worse to talk to than the call center agents. He didn't want to listen to anything I had to say and just kept harping on the T&C of Pepperfry. They are definitely misleading customers but mentioning the "Shipped" in days when you are looking through their App. Please read the fine print before ordering anything. The actual delivery date will be very delayed. They are not at par with they competitors. I will never use Pepperfry again. This was my first and last mistake with them.

          In reference to the above order no, i booked a dining table on 31st dec’17. I requested for weekend delivery at the time of booking which was humbly agreed by the showroom manager. Based on the status online, i called up the team on 11th jan 2018 which was thursday and i was told that delivery is scheduled on friday 12th jan 2018. I requested again, to make the delivery on saturday which is 13th jan 2018. However nothing got delivered on 13th as well as 14th of jan 2018. Next committed date was 15th jan’18 after 6 pm since it was monday. It again changed to 16th jan’18 and then to 17th jan’18.in this entire episode the only constant communication from customer care was that the product is in the bangalore warehouse and they will update us once the product is dispatched. The communication from the showroom manager is, warehouse guys are not picking up calls and they will update us. To my surprise i have not received a single call from pepperfry updating me on the status and reason for delay. It’s only me who is calling the customer care team as well the showroom manager on a daily basis.
          As per the latest conversation this is supposed to be delivered today after 6 pm but i have not received any calls from the warehouse yet and i am actually not expecting any calls as well.
          This is my first purchase from pepperfry and i have always been a customer for urban ladder. I was trying something new, but i guess the first experience has really become the worst one ever.
          To conclude, can you please help me out in this regard by any chance or you have the similar update saying product is in the warehouse? Can i please get atleast one call from pepperfry’s warehouse team in bangalore indicating the timeliness and reason for delay? If i am not getting my product today, please consider this email as a request for cancellation of my order with immediate effect……

          At Pepperfry, we do not intend to upset our customers at any given moment. This maybe a one off case with such enormities. Having said that, we would positively work on it, so that such instances are not repeated in near future. Also we would pass on the feedback to relevant departments, to safeguard on customer excellence parameters.

          Your refund was initiated on 22nd Jan-18. Post initiation, it takes 7-10 business days for the amount to hit the bank account, and it would reflect under the name of “Trendsutra Platform Services Pvt Ltd”.
          I have logged mutiple complaints on the defective products which we have recieved. The bed surface has few un natural cuts. Pepperfry officials say it can happen sometimes. When I have pid money and as a customer why should I accept that? Let this be replaced or let me be compansated.

            I have placed an order for bed, wardrobe and dressing table yesterday and wanted to cancel it due to delivery issue but no one wants to help me from pepperfry.
            Spoke to call centre executive and manager and requested him to please priortize the delivery process but they are very straight that this is not possible.
            I requested them to get it delivered by 18th as we have an urgent requirement of this furniture but no body is even able to help me on this and not even helping with the cancellation of this order.
            I just forget to check the delivery date before ordering however expecting just to expedite the delivery process from pepperfry..

            Its not done even after promising that the product will be delivered its not happening.
            I have never expected such pathetic service from such a reputed company.
            I made a blunder by ordering furniture from pepperfry and regreting like anything.
            Now pepperfry team is saying that they will deliver only my wardrobe today and bed on tuesday.
            Even after raising a complaint with consumer forum i am just getting false promices and nothing.

              "Pepperfry" should rename itself as "Bhejafry" as it has the worst customer care and return policy, I had to call the customer team 7 times over a span of 3 weeks to follow up on my issues. In the meanwhile, I filed a case as instructed by the customer care agent for returns and there was on reply to the issue. I sent a separate mail to the returns team and bumped it twice and still no reply. I would highly urge customers to stop patronizing them as God forbid if your product is defective, broken, needs additional requirements their customer care them is surely not going to help you . You will end up wasting your time and losing your cool with the inefficient executives which will be a surely a waste of money and effort. I have attached below the sequence of events that tortured me after buying their product and the series of communication followed up on my grievance.

              In my opinion if one really wants to waste time, money and effort please continue their services. Please share this to all users so we can educate people on the lack of efficiency and clarity of the customer care team that works there as well as the general feedback to be provided to the Pepperfry team .

                Dear sir/madam,

                Sub : pepperfry case ref. No. Wr[protected]

                I am retired commander who is 72 years of age. On 14 dec 2017 i purchased {invoice no. Pp/3503/17-18 (Order no:[protected]kd1498000-s-pm11193)} a "home belle stainless steel utensils kitchen rack
                (Sku: kd1498000-s-pm11193) from the pepperfry website. I purchased this item as pepperfry is considered to be a reputable store and the website clerly mentioned that the article is made of stainless steel. I paid rs. 811.00 for the item and it was delivered to my home a few days later. To my utter disappointment the article started rusting merely after a few days. I immediately registered a complaint with pepperfry for the inferior quality of their product and requested that i be allowed to return the item for a refund.
                I received an acknowledgement for my complaint on 31 dec 2017 and some one from the customer service called me up and said that my request is declined as the complaint was registered after the allowed period of
                Time. I am consultant engineer and tried to explain to him that the rusting is a slow process and become visible only after a period of time and i did make a complaint as soon as the rusting became evident.

                However he was not keen to address the issue. Pepperfry website has a provision for escalating the issue if it not resolved and i tried to escalate the issue only to realize that even though there is a provision to escalate the issue to founders / senior management this channel cannot be accessed to register a formal complaint.

                In my opinion, as pepperfry consider themselves to be a reputable retailer they should endeavour to live up to the expectations which consumers have. I consider that the response i received from a so called prestigious store is an unjustified solution. An item sold as made of stainless steel starts getting rusted in a period of one week can be attributed to no other cause but inferior quality and should have been taken more seriously by the management team. As i had mentioned i am a consultant engineer with years of experience in engineering and with out any doubt i can substantiate that it is the poor quality control by the procurement team that has led to such poor quality products being sold by pepperfry.

                I would therefore be most grateful this issue be taken up with pepperfry and suitably resolved. I would also like to state that i did try to use the provision available (After escalating the issue from the two lower levels) but the website prevents the issue being escalated to founders (This also may have to be rectified)

                  Bought a bed from peperfry.com, after assembly the bed was shaking, i complained to customer care, after a week of lingering the case, one of account manager of pepperfry, (Naresh) called me and asked to accept the product and fix the problem by self, we will offer an additional discount of 5k rupees. I denied as the product was defective. Same day evening, i called customer care for update and i was shocked with response, they literally denied to return the product. And told me to do whatever you can. I am feeling cheated by pepperfry... I lost my money and mental peace too.

                    I placed an order on 04/01/2018, with order id[protected] and wanted to cancel as i wanted to buy some other item from your website as the delivery date is after 50 days of placing the order. It is a nightmare. I informed them the same day. You can even charge any cancellation fee if possible.

                    You guys are not canceling the order nor providing me with a store credit so that i can buy something else from your website. What's the use of buying something online when i don't have a convenience to cancel before the order has been dispatched. I called your executives twice but it's the same reply all the time.

                    I'm totally disappointed with the service and would never recommend it to anyone else.

                      Hi,
                      I want to complaint against this furniture online site "pepperfry". Its been a month i ordered a king sized bed, they delivered that in 15 days i. E. On 15th dec 2017, but the product was not complete only head support was there, no side and foot support was there. After that i requested for the replacement, since then there is no response from pepperfry and they are showing the false status of product being delivered successfully. Even we contacted the customer care many times and they were unable to tell the status of the replacement request.

                        I have placed an order on 31st december evening. Order id:[protected] and amount: rs. 5174/- it was an order of two chairs and a shoe rack.

                        Before ordering i couldn’t see the estimated time of delivery anywhere in the app. After ordering and doing the payment, it showed that estimated delivery time is about 1 month. It is not feasible for me to wait for a month. I want to cancel this order.

                        I have contacted your helpline number, where i was told i cannot cancel the order. For any online website no cancellation policy doesn’t make sense if you clearly do not write it while consumers order. Specially, my order is not even shipped as it shows 27 days expected delivery. It could easily be cancelled. But the helpdesk refused to do so.

                        Resolution expected: please cancel the order and refund the amount i paid.

                        I have raised a complaint with the consumer affairs court. The docket number is 560159. The consumer court helpdesk asked me to mail you this and wait for your response. If you do not respond in a given timeline i will need to take a step further with the consumer complaint court help.

                          It's strange that pepperfry doesn't have a cancellation policy. I had placed an order or pepperfry for an incorrect product and realised immediately after placing it. It can be construed as human error, however pepperfry will just fleece you for it by refusing to entertain requests. This is a bizarre practice and these cancellation policies should be available for review upfront like airlines do so there is no confusion. Anyone may want to cancel an order and i don't see how a firm can survive by not allowing the same at least within a reasonable time frame.in my case i realised it within 45 min but i am being refused a refund. Can i seek legal help on the matter as this is nothing but consumer harassment. I am aware of a lot of people facing it so it's worth pursuing a class action lawsuit or multiple petitions against this out right cheating!

                            I have booking order Order No.[protected] in Peeperfry.com, but prodcut is not good, i am not satisfied this product, then i contact peeperfry customer care CEO, but person Gaurav told me i will not cancelled this product, because there are not issue this product and i am not return this product, Do what you have to do?

                            So please Sir help me, product is not good, material used is very low quality,
                            Two Drawers bottom base material is so thin Ply sheet, The price is quite expensive according to the material.So please return my Order.

                            मैंने एक आलमारी ली थी http://www.peeperfry.com/, जिसका आर्डर नंबर हैं[protected]. मैंने आर्डर बुक किया था, कल मेरे घर पैर ये सामान को असेम्बल किया, लेकिन यह अच्छा नहीं हैं, इसमें प्रयोग किया गया सामान सही नहीं हैं, बॉक्स में न कही रैक हैं, न drwaers में स्पेस, न ही मेरे काम का हैं, जब यह सामान कसा गया, तो पता चला, फिर मैंने पीपेरफरी को कॉल किया, लेकिन मुझे सामान वापस लेने से मना कर रहा हैं, बोल रहा हैं की मेरे वेबसाइट पर सामान assamble के बाद वापस नहीं होता, इसमें मैं कुछ नहीं केर पाउँगा । आज मैंने फिर कॉल किया हूँ पर वो साफ़ साफ़ मना कर रहे हैं की वापस नहीं की जाएगी, आप ही बताओ की मैं क्या करू????

                              They are not delivering sku: fn1580207-s-pm8748 part of my order, which is a mattress.
                              Bluedart was not able to deliver that, as we stay in 2nd floor and there is no enough space in staircase to bring the queen mattress.
                              Again they (Pepperfry) have rescheduled on next saturday (23rd dec 2017), but i have not received again.
                              When i have called customer care, that guy (Sumit) is blaming me and misbehaving with me.
                              They are rude, unprofessional!!!
                              I want my money back and don't want the delivery

                                This king size bed got broken on sides, just within 25 days of its purchase from pepperfry, that too during midnight sleep, making me afraid of as it made a snap sound like sinking inside the bed. I had contacted customer care of pepperfry also, as this bed is supposed to be within warranty period upto one year from its purchase. But poor wooden framework has caused this damage..

                                I have sent pics of broken bed, many times now, and after being found in unrepairable condtion by the authorised rep sent by the company, no refund or any necessary action has been taken. The rep also told that, frame of bed is very weak, and asked me 'why i bought such weak product?

                                  Dining table set got delivered on 19th december 17’ and the delivery people tried to assemble it but i could not do it. There are screws which are not getting fixed and the bench and chairs have balancing issue and the chairs have poor finishing. I complained in customer care and there is no responsibility of accountability from pepperfry. Every day passing they are just telling me to wait for another day and then another day. Do not buy any product from pepperfry, pathetic customer service. Just a money waste

                                    Yesterday ie 18th december i placed an order along with online payment to pepperfry order number[protected].
                                    Immediately after placing the order i contacted on phone to pepperfry customer support three times call and also sent a emai complaint (The case reference number is ph[protected].) & inform that by mistake the product's heights are small and do not have shelf racks, so i should not give it, please cancel it, and return the money in my account, but he did not believe it, so please i reuested you, please refund my money in my account,

                                    Just now on phone i was informed that company policy is not to cancel / exchange the order product & when i told that still you have not dispatched the product to me why you are behaving like this.                                       I have placed an order for kids cot through pepperfry on 9/12/2017 and received the product on 15/12/2017 but after receiving the cot i have noticed the seating height of the cot is barely 7 inches, hence i raised a request for refund but pepperfry guys have rejected the request saying it’s mentioned in the measurements but the height of the cot is given but not the seating height of it which is completely ambiguous and with double standards of sales. I have also decided to hand write a letter to company as well as one last attempt before going to file a complaint at consumer forum.
