A. I want to cancel an order accidentally placed at wrong address. Customer support is pathetic, arrogant, ill-mannered & not helping. After going through a lot of hassels (Talking to these unprofessional guys in customer care) i have decided not to have product. Why can't pepperfry give this option when all other competent online shopping sites are giving this option.
There is no such policy on your page that clearly states customer can not cancel their order. It is against customer rights protection law.

B. Why there is no option or a policy in place to change shipping address (Any other human error) if i have accidentally entered wrong address. Again, this option is available on all compitent online shopping sites.

You guys train your staff to tell lies to customers in the name of policy which do not even exist. I would alert my near & dear ones to stay away from 'looters and frausters' like you through social media.
One word for you -'sick'

It's been 4 days since pepperfry is informed about the complaint and yet no communication and action from their end. This shows their seriousness and willingness to keep their customers happy.
I have lost hopes now that they will resolve the issues. I'm sure the next steps though but rest assured WILL ALERT MY NEAR AND DEAR ONES NOT TO PURCHASE FROM PEPPERFRY.

    Hello,

    I wanted to cancel the order I placed by mistake(i don't need one item there). So I called customer care within 2 minutes of placing the order. And I was told according to your terms and conditions you don't allow cancellation. But when I checked your website terms and conditions page and terms tab on the product page and didn't find any such thing.

    Kindly help me to cancel this order delivery date is very far and I wanted it to be delivered by 18th April.

        Hey, i placed an order on pepperfry, but accidentally ordered the wrong product. Upon getting in touch with customer care, they flatly refused to cancel.
        Instead, they requested that i order the product i actually wanted and that it had to be equal or greater than the product i ordered. After that, they would refund me for the first order.
        Really?
        Open extortion?
        What is this crap?

          I bought a almirah from pepper fry and when their carpenter open it all the packing the almirah front door was broken from 2 places and i didn't expect this type of customer service from such a good company, currently now they are not excepting their fault and refusing to replaced it as well.

          So this is a cheating on behalf of Peeper fry and i want that they should replace my faulty product.

            I have ordered a product from Pepperfry. Attached order number and details. Below are the queries I had and there has been negative response from Pepperfry customer care:
            1.
            Pepperfry Team can not modify the order even after repeated requests( They still need to purchase the product).

            2.
            Return and exchange policy is terrible. Return can happen only on three conditions ( in case of damage, defective or wrong size details on product)

            Which means if the customer doesn’t like the product they will change or refund the price.

            As per the conversation I had with Pepperfry customer care Team ( Sumit), they cannot provide a solution. They have mentioned that they still need to purchase the product ( in that case they still can modify the order which they refused)

            My concern is why does a customer suffer if the customer didn’t like the product or the product is not comfortable or any other issue with the product apart from damage. Online business works best with customer friendly policies.

            In case of Pepperfry, return and exchange policy is not right.

              The bottle is mentioned as STEEL IN DESCRIPTION, But the bottle is Plastic.

              Incomplete and incorrect information is lmaking such sellers, sell the product and PEPPERFRY IS ENCOURAGING SUCH SELLERS.

              Fooling the customers by hiding the full description. Even the picture is not taken from inside not to let users know the real product material.

              I need FULL REFUND.

              Please stop such fradulent activity.

                I placed an order for hindware chimney (order id[protected] on 4th April 2018 while I was making the payment there was an offer that if I made payment via paytm i will receive 500₹ cashback so, i made payment via paytm but I didn't received any cashback. So, i contacted their customer support team and told them about the issue. Then they said that offer was expired long ago while it's still showing out there on their app by mistake. Then I said I don't know anything either you give me cashback or cancel my order. To which they said there is no policy to cancel the order. So, now I am stuck with the product without getting cashback. This is clearly cheating. Then they just hung up and disconnected the call.
                Now, i am feeling cheated. Trusting pepperfry was a big mistake.
                I am attaching a screenshot of the their payment page where there are still showing the same offer and cheating others.

                  Order no[protected] pepperfry is the worst online shopping site i have come across . I ordered Nilkamal mattresses on mar 3 and it was promised that it will be delivered by apr 3 now its apr 6 its not delivered and the funny part is Nilkamal is saying this product is out of stock for them and they never shipped it but pepperfry is showing despatched on 26th mar .
                  Is this a new way of fooling people?

                  I want my money back plus the interest on it for one complete month.

                    Order placed date - 27-mar-2018.
                    Desired resolution - requesting to replace.

                    I had placed the order for the combo offer for chimney with 3 burner hob combo set size-90cm order number[protected], which should be of 60cm size, but i realize that at the same moment, but as per the pepperfry policy i can not cancel the order, now when i request them to replace it with 60cm, they are again denying it because this also not in there policy to replace in such condition.

                    The product is of no use to me now due to the size difference,

                      I have been shipped damaged furniture. The only way to report was post pics on thier site. I immediately did that. But all they sent me is a standard repeated response it's as per the product ordered and not our return policy.

                      Shameful idea of keeping my money. It's a order of 35000. You can't hide behind a return policy and conning people of thier hard earned money. If you have troubles with return, keep a return fee and advertise it.

                      Instead you have hired a team to repeat no return it's your money down the drain.

                      How can you ship any # and deny me refund. And call yourself "easy returns"

                      It's abusing pre-payment. Return my money. It's my right.

                      Dear pepperfry. What is the thought behind your stringent no return policy ? Here are my two offers :
                      1. If return pickups are your concern deduct a 1000 2000 penalty from my payment and refund the rest post deductions .
                      2. If meeting targets is the concern, you don't want to loose money already taken from me. Allow me to exchange let me pick something in exchange from your site or store whichever is convenient to you.

                      What more do you expect from me ? Be reasonable at the very least. Even if I buy from a physical store they allow exchange and you expect sitting online you will just swallow my money and we would let you do that . This is how you plan to do business ??
                      Be reasonable. There is no way you can keep all my money cause you made me Prepay for my purchase sticking "easy returns" on your site
                      Come-on STOP THE HSRRASMENT . RETURN MY MONEY. Take an option 1 or 2 and let me have peace.

                        Even though i have applied coupon code i have been deducted 789 rupees from my account

                        When i cancelled the order they have told neglectly that once ordered cannot be cancelled

                        Please take action in them

                        You # please return my 250 ruppes back...

                        My suggestion to all people who are willing to buy from pepper fry.. Don't buy from pepper fry anymore

                          I have contacted customer support and they informed that you can place charcoal filter in seavy quinn chimney and on basis of that i placed an order on pepperfry order#[protected]. After i have researched and talked with technician of seavy and confirmed that charcoal filter cannot be used by any seavy chimney. So its of no use to me anymore, thus i called up pepperfry to cancel this order as it's off no use to me anymore. On calling i found that pepperfry refuse to cancel this order and tells that amount had been credited to seller even the seller had not dispatched this order. I want my refund back

                            I ordered an exhaust fan. But i have received a wrong size of the product. I ordered 230mm size exhaust fan but received 300mm size fan which cannot be fitted at my exhaust vent.

                            My issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Product was return picked up and made full refund today. Pepperfry contacted me asking for more details on the issue. I explained with the issue and provided images as well. They agreed to take the product back and issue full refund. All communication came directly from the office of CEO from pepperfry. I really appreciate team for handling the genuine request. I still love to shop from pepperfry for their quality, best packing and fast delivery. Keep going!!!

                              Recently ordered bean bags from pepperfry.com, paid each rs.1600 for xxxl bean bag including beans. Product description says 3kg total weight, i trusted their 7 days easy return policy. After receiving the product it hardly has half the beans and almost you are sitting on the floor after 4-5 days usage. Raised a return request with them and then they started showing their true colors.

                              The executives at the helpline would think of themselves as lawyers and will try to argue for hours.in return they will advise you to carry the bean bag to the nearest grocery store and weigh the bean bag, take photos and send the pictures of the weight and the product. I requested them to arrange a scale to weigh the product at home, with the delivery guy, but they refused. Also mentioned i would be thankful if they could arrange some additional beans, which also is not possible.

                              In simple words, they will not accept the return what ever the scenario. They will simply test your patience, ruin your day, end of the day it's a pre-paid order, so go # yourself. For me, it's a loss of around rs.3000, but i almost was gonna order a queen bed from these people and decided to wait for a few days.
                              Simple things i missed —
                              No cash on delivery, pay in full.
                              No review for any single product.
                              No rating for not even a single product on entire website.

                              I almost do 90% of my shopping online, but never faced this level of frustration, was never cheated like this. Luckily escaped with a small loss rather sofa or bed.

                              As I already stated the issue I'm facing, we could conclude the resolution in this public forum.
                              Hope you also could've replied this sweet when I requested to return the product, instead treating the customer like an accused in a court hall.

                              Please don't advise me again " to carry the bean bags on my back around the city - find a weighing machine, weigh them, click and send the pictures" . I have other meaningful things to do .

                              what is the point of your replies in this forum, when you haven't made a single effort to contact customer through mail or phone . Your replies include " Investigate and provide resolution", " will surely get this resolved up to your satisfaction", just providing an illusion to the visiting members of this forum that you care about customer and trying to help them. Contrary to that you don't give a damn about customer, never received a call or mail from you in these 20 days.
                              I did never write this complaint hoping you would resolve my issue, which would never happen in real world, but to save the fellow poor souls who would buy a sofa, bed or some expensive furniture from you believing in your return policy like i did. In addition I'm providing the pictures of the products I got, so fellow customers could understand the quality of goods you provide.

                                Pepperfry has totally lost the plot. They are willing to lose a customer and the domino effect of it but not ready to accept return for products worth few hundred. Well done pepperfry. Your customer support team has no manners and courtesy on how to speak to there customer. Pepperfry is the most obnoxious and uncooperative portal i have come across and i am pretty sure i will ever come across. They are in the business just to loot customer in the name of sweet words and tag line.

                                Be careful of what you buy here there is no return policy whatever. They just send you an e mail saying - “whatever is delivered is what was ordered. Rest be assured of the quality.” and when i contacted they there support team has the guts to say things like - “you are repeating yourself” “if you don’t like the product please dispose it we can’t accept return”. Good loot for few hundered rupees.

                                  I have ordered a sofa from Peppery fry the same has come but it is damaged and but they are not ready to take this back. they say it has been manually checked and it was correct.
                                  and the customer service is very rude and they are ok for us to go to consumer court.

                                  One of the customer service person said, please do whatever you want we will not return nor refund. Customer is not treated as king.

                                  They only want to sell the product and not adhere to their own policy.
                                  I need justice and they have give only 7 days from the date of installation.

                                    I Purchased the product to be used in my new house in March. When I opened the product to use on 5th March, I see that the product is of a very poor quality. I have attached pics of the mixer jar which is rusted. I doubt if prestige will manufacture such poor quality products. I suspect a duplicate is been sent to me. I raised this issue with the customer care and they couldnt help as the order was placed in January. Since the product is still under warrenty, I will want an explanation and replacement with original product.

                                      Pepperfry is the worst online store i have ever purchased from. I bought an expensive tv unit from them and asked for installation a couple of weeks after the delivery since my house was under renovation.

                                      When the pepperfry carpenter came for assembly, he found that 3 panels were damaged. When i called up pepperfry, they told me that it has been more than a week since delivery so they would not be able to accept the return. I was not told about this at the time of delivery. They sold me a damaged product and refused to accept a return. Customer care also does not know how to talk politely. They must have been recruited from some village and paid low wages, because they do not understand the concept of customer service.

                                      I had no choice but to go ahead and ask the carpenter to assemble the product even though 3 panels were damaged, because i had paid a large amount. The carpenter (Mukesh thakur) was not able to complete the assembly on saturday, because my apartment does not allow workers beyond 6 pm. He had promised me on the phone that he would reach my house at 3 pm, but finally showed up at 5:30 pm. Horrible!

                                      He informed me that he would come on monday morning and complete the installation. I asked him four times for confirmation and told him that i would be applying leave from work on monday just for this and he assured me that he would come on monday. I again called him on sunday evening to confirm and he assured me that he would come in the morning.

                                      Monday morning he does not show up. When i called him, he told me that he is in some other place and i have to call customer care. He did not even bother calling me. He is cheap, unprofessional and rude. Then he gave me another number to call but that person never answered the call. Thereafter, mukesh thakur kept cancelling my calls. These guys should be fired from their job.

                                      5. When i called up customer care, they were not even bothered. They just told that they would take another request and there was nothing else they could do. When i explained how i was harassed by this man mukesh thakur, they were not even bothered. The customer care representative then started raising his voice telling me not to complain and then started shouting at me, telling me that i should not complain and that i should just wait.

                                      I really hope this company pepperfry shuts down. They sold me a damaged product, refused to take it back, their carpenter was cheap and unprofessional and rude, their customer care is rude and horrible and not bothered. I wasted a day of leave because of these people. I really want to go to the consumer court and file a case against pepperfry.

                                      Do not buy from pepperfry. You will be harassed and tortured by their customer care and their carpenters. I'm praying to god that their company shuts down, because this kind of pathetic service is not acceptable.

                                      I had a much better experience from urbanladder, they are professional and customer oriented. Pepperfry is like a local road side shop with cheap products, cheap people and have no idea how to talk to customers.

                                      Beware of pepperfry.

                                        Hi,
                                        I'm being TORTURED by Pepperfry.
                                        Pepperfry sent wrong items & refused my return request.
                                        Neither ready for replc nor refund.
                                        When I confmed that I have took videos while unpacking, asked me to share but just for making fun & timepass.
                                        Not sharing vendors details to communicate.
                                        Being ordinary person 14500 is huge amt for me which I want back.
                                        Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
