I ordered king size bed costing 30k from the site on 19th july from the pepperfry website. The online tracking message said that the product will be delivered on 23rd july, the sms said product will be delivered by 2nd august.

2nd august came and went no product in sight. I called up customer care, the guy promises me that the product will be delivered by 3rd august. I call up on 3rd august the customer care guy tells me the product will be delivered on 4th august since packaging is not proper. I call up on 4th august the customer care guy tells me the product will be delivered on 5th august as polishing is not done! How can they polish a product after the packaging is done.

The customer care guys are just there to lie through their teeth. There is no provision to escalate as the complaint is closed even without proper resolution.

I am now registering a complaint with the customer forum. Never ever order anything from this site, i had much better experience with urban ladder. My order number is[protected]

    I have placed above mentioned order on 2.8.17, and later realised that delivery address is wrongly picked. I have called their customer care to change my delivery address to noida from mumbai, they flatly refused to do so. I asked them to cancel the order, so that i can place new order for correct delivery address but they refused to cancel.
    How is it possible that neither i can change my delivery address nor i can cancel the order.
    I have left the delivery address 2 years back and they are saying me to collect the goods at that place.

    Please help in this matter

      Hi. I ordered 240 ml glasses (Water glasses) from pepperfry but i got 50 ml (Shot glasses) upon delivery. I placed a return request as soon as i received the order. The next day i got a call from pepperfry that the item that was sent was the correct one and that they do not have a return/exchange policy.
      The senior rep that i talked to told me that now i have to use those glasses and that he cannot help it as there is no such policy of pepperfry to exchange/return a product.
      This is highly objectionable behaviour on the part of pepperfry and its customer service department.
      There should also be a check on all the online stores and some guidelines should be laid down for online shopping.

      I have placed an Order #[protected]. They delivered it at wrong address and when I told them to either cancel the order or deliver it at correct address they simply denied. Now I have a product which is of no use and my money is wasted. I am cheated by this company and I want the company to understand it's responsibility.

        I bought a metallic single cot bearing order id[protected] and it was delivered on 29th july 2017. However, the tools to assemble the cot were not there in the consignment. The hardware was missing. I have raised several complaints to have it returned and get my refund. I have also uploaded the photos as desired. Kindly look into the matter and get it resolved by arranging a pick up of the product and refunding the amount back

          I have raised return requests for three orders[protected],[protected],[protected] multiple times. All three orders delivered have incorrect items, which was a big disappoint as if this wasn't sufficient, i haven't received any solution since over a week now. Despite raising return requests never have i ever heard from any pepperfry professional for any redressal or return.

          Upon calling the customer care centre i was informed that all requests were cancelled. However, not even once was i informed about the same - niether on call nor mail. I have been raising return requests and upon completion of 48 hours they automatically get cancelled without any intimation to me. Not only is this inappropriate it is fooling the customer without providing any solution. I was assured that i'll be contacted with 24hrs of raising a case and ofcourse even that hasn't happened.

          I want refund for all three orders asap else i'll be forced to approach consumer court.

            On my visit to koregaon park pepperfry studio, pranav have helped us to place the order for freemont queen size bed with storage in honey oak finish by woodsworth vide order #[protected] on 17th jun 2017 and the order was supposed to be delivered on 3rd jul 2017.

            I was chasing since 3rd jul and i was getting reply from pepperfry customer care that it will be delivered soon, twice i got false commitment from the executive and i was even told that delayed is due to quality check issue.

            I was taken leave twice for the delivery as no one was not available at home, but when i called them i came to know that the delivery will be delayed and the executive told me that pepperfry will compensate for the delay.

            Finally on 16th july the bed was delivered but the material quality was worst and it was having crack and the nail was removed, even whatever the picture was displayed in website the material was different and was very low quality so we have returned the product at the same movement. On the same day i called the customer care and told them about return, during discussion i came to know that no one have given them the status about return.

            Since 16th july i am following up with them for crediting the amount but till date i. E. 24th july the amount has not been credited and twice i have been given false commitment that the amount has been initiated.

            Even i spoke to gayatri from finance dept on 18th jul and she told me that it will take 24 to 48hrs to release the amount, even i spoke to her about compensation, and she told me that she will inform senior manager, but till date no response received.

            I had been calling customer care on 3rd jul, 5th jul, 6th jul, 9th jul, 11th jul, 16th jul, 17th jul, 18th jul, 22nd jul & 24th jul 2017. I am having the conversation recordings for gayatri on 18th jul, one more executive on 22nd jul & raj on 24th jul 2017.

            I have received the mail that the refund has been initiated but the amount will be credited within 7-10 working days, kindly release the compensation amount as i have paid the amount thru credit card and on 25th jul 2017 i have paid the emi of rs. 5790/-. My money is got block because of the delay and even i have suffered a leave without pay salary for one day.

            I am very dissapointed with the pepperfry service and will not refer anyone to purchase from pepperfry.

              A chair was ordered and delivered to us that was defective, with scratched paint, rusted joints, old, faded, scratched plastic fittings. Photographs of the same were sent to pepperfry via email and website on july 20th (With 5 reminders sent).

              On july 28th, we called customer service and spoke to krishna vaish (At 2pm) who refused to pass us onto a supervisor. Then looked at the pictures and offered a 50% discount (Effectively agreeing and confirming that the product is defective) and then said he'd get back to us.

              It has been 1 week and this fraudulent activity from pepperfry leaves a very bad impression of the company and the service.

              We would like the defective piece taken back and the full amount refunded to us.

                Hi have order a clock "black iron 8 inch vintage double sided station wall clock by anantaran" (Sku: de1370875-s-pm6126) (Order no is[protected] which has white inner background being displayed on product page.

                But i received clock with different (Light coffee) inner background. I submitted return request and shared photo of clock what i have received which clearly shows that inner background is not white.

                Now pepperyfry is not ready to take the product back say that i have received same product which is being displayed on product page. I have shared many images of product which i have received but still they are not ready to accept that color in not white.

                After this experience with pepperfry, i have come to a conclusion that pepperfry is a fraud and cheaters. This is one of my worst experience i have ever had while purchasing anything online.

                  I ordered a wall clock and they delivered a broken item.
                  After delivery of product, the website did not allow me to initiate return for 5 days saying the product is not delivered yet. The next two days i was traveling and when i came from travel on 8th day it says my return window is closed. So, basically they just gave me 2 days as return window. Then why they mentioned 7 days as return window as their website?
                  And when i called the customer service, the guy on the phone is extremely rude and impolite in answering my questions and he disconnected my call in between. Horrible experience!!

                    Finally team pepperfry failed to respond to my query being raised.

                    Background:

                    I placed two orders from pepperfry and those were prepaid orders, but pepperfry cancelled both orders saying the prices were revised and hence we will not be able to supply that product to you on paid price which means either pepperfry is misleading the people or some fraudulent activity is been taking place with pepperfry.

                    When i call customer care they say the same thing. When i asked them to write an email on the same they refused to do so.

                    Even they failed to respond to my email.

                    Waste of buying with pepperfry.

                      I do understand this very clearly about the policies and i do respect that.
                      Hence, i had very politely asked for the replacement. Now, since we couldn't find any option to use this product - we wish to replace this.

                      And, i hope pepperfy will definitely look into my order history - and never had raised any such requests earlier. I would appreciate if you can go back and review my profile to know the close association, i was having with pepperfry.

                      Definitely and globally, there's always a 'way-out' for any solution.
                      So, i expect a positive feedback from pepperfry

                      I had been chasing customer service on the return of one of my purchase (Ref my order[protected]: and, been simply playing a ping-pong game with them - using a standard stupid reply 'not as per policy'.

                      I do respect that, and also i do admit that.. Always there is case-to case basis interpretation for the resolutions.

                      For the past 1.5yrs, i'd been placing orders frequently, a long term association. But pls don't stab the customers with rigid and in-humane response stating the 'policies'.

                        Really worst to know that product displayed in portal is different and delivered other product. Pepperfry delivers product before date and will not update status till seven days return policy expires. Its waste of money to buy in pepperfry. Dont trust pepperfry. This looks like tricky bussiness plan to mislead customer. We should not encourage such e-commerce sites

                        Ordered online the matress from www.pepperfry.com, recieved damage product and asked for refund but I am not getting any response from them and called somany times to the customer care, they are telling they will give replacement of the product but no one is coming to pick up the damaged matress, it is more than 15 days.
                        Please help me unsubscribe from the SMSs I've been getting since quite a while. How do I do that ?
                        I tried sending an email, but that did't work.
                        I get SMSs quite frequently in-spite of being DND.
                        Can you please help?

                          I had booked a request for repair work for entertainment unit on 27/06/17. For the last 20 days, i have made several attempts to speak to senior manager for the delay in repair work.

                          Every week i get 2-3 sms intimation from pepperfry confirming carpenter's visit but they dont fulfill the commitment.

                          I spoke to gayatri khona from accounts department who promised prompt visit of carpenter on 6/7/17 but it never happened.

                          None of my emails were answered by gayatri khona since 6/7/17. Surprisingly they dont have hierarchy in customer care to deal with phone calls / emails. They dont have nodal agency to punish juniors.

                          This is worst service i ever receive from any corporate entity. Please dont get trapped by fancy advts.

                            I have ordered a bed from pepperfry on 22june2017. After a long time of wait, they finally came to deliver on 12 july. The delivery boy refused to wait for an hour even as i was out.
                            An hour later, he stopped responding to my calls and messages.
                            Now, its showing that the product has been delivered.
                            This is absolute nonsense. My first purchase on pepperfry turned a nightmare and i'm never going to shop from that site again.
                            From my understanding pepperfry seem to have accumulated too many bad reviews.

                              I've ordered a chair from pepperfry (Order no.[protected] on 7th july, 2017. I want to cancel my order as i'm in need of my money for personal purpose but i am not getting the option to cancel my order and getting a refund. If this is reaching to a senior management staff please let them know that customer support aren't that helpful and i even got a fake email in which it has been mentioned that i talked to an executive on phone but you can check my phone details i didn't get called by anyone. I'm in dire need of money so i request a refund as soon as possible (Make it as one time exception or i've read somewhere that pepperfry cuts 5% from the amount). So i want my refund to be generated. It should be cancelled since it didn't even get shipped

                                Pepperfry has send me a bajaj fan which is nothing like the pic. Its been a 15 days and return is not enabled. I contacted the customer care and they said its a 7 days return policy after delivery luckily i did not depend on online return which is disabled raised a return ticket thru connecting thru chat. They offered 40%refund which i rejected and asked for return of goods and 100% refund. They agreed, but the pickup guy has never turned up. Its been more than 5 days and everyday i am getting a msg that the item will be picked up from home giving the pickup guy number. If called to that guy he never picks the phone.

                                I am totally pissed off with how pepperfry is dealing its return policy.

                                  I am writing to inform all those who buy stuff online and are planning to buy furniture online. There's this website (Supposedly fraud) pepperfry which it seemed was quite popular with all those ads and reviews (I guess paid!). We were planning to buy a few furniture items and though of giving this a try than urban ladder which seemed pretty expensive. We ordered this siri bedside table in brown colour by the furniture store (Order #[protected] from pepperfry and paid by card in full online. It was delivered by 4th and till then everything was fine. But, since then i have been struggling to get a carpenter for the assembly which they should have done automatically. I first requested the assembly on the ivr and they are supposed to send it on the same day. When the carpenter did not arrive till 3pm i called customer service and then i come to know that the ivr request does not work! Extremely convenient! Then i placed a manual request for carpenter on 6th and they assigned one for 8th because they say that there was a carpenter issue in kolkata. So, on 8th when no carpenter visited by 2pm, there was no message from the company and no call, i called them up again.in the entire day i call them up thrice to only hear "sorry" the carpenter will visit today! Finally i received the carpenter number and when i call him (Rajan kumar m), he says he can either make it at 7pm on 8th or on 10th! And, i have already wasted the entire day waiting for carpenter. Out of frustration i asked him to come on monday 1st half. Now, when he finally visits us on monday (10th july 2017), he opens up the package and says there is manufacturing defect in the product as some of the wooden planks were missing the holes for fitting! He plain denied working on it and i am left in lurch. After these 6 days of harassment i have now requested for a refund by sending them two images of the defective product. Now, if i do not have this done on time and the refund is not processed at the earliest i would make sure that i go as high as possible to get compensated for this harassment.

                                  So, next time be warned if you are buying products from pepperfry!

                                  Hi,

                                  After you guys notified the pepperfry customer support there was this guy named Craig Corrie called me on July 11th. Call reference - (CAS-372709-T1G4C2) CRM:0005944. Although he tried to convince me in keeping the product and that they will send a carpenter who can drill holes, I denied that offer and wanted to return the product and get the full refund. I did this all the more because the previous carpenter from Pepperfry had already said that they cannot drill holes in the product, so there was no point. On the same day I received an email from the [protected]@pepperfry.com again requesting me to keep the product and accept a compnesation of Rs. 1500. I emailed them back saying I DO NOT want the product and want the product to be picked up and my amount to be refunded.

                                  On July 12th I called up again to confirm if the request had been processed and to my dismay it wasn't. The lady evidently took my request and told me the product will be picked up in the next 3 days. today is the 3rd day and since I did not hear anything I again called up the customer service and spoke to Nimisha. Now, they say that I can dispose the product and get the refund in the next 48 hours. I am also supposed to receive a confirmation email from them.

                                  I have all the call recordings for the discussions I had till date with them, but there's no option to upload it here.I wish you had that option so that I could prove what big liers these pepperfry guys are.

                                  I seriously don't trust these guys anymore. So, I would request someone to look into this and have my money refunded. Else I may have to take this higher up.

                                  This is to inform you that it has been 12 days since you last updated the status saying that Pepperfry guys have been notified about my complaint. They later asked me to dispose the product and said that the amount would be refunded. I was supposed t receive an email confirmation after which the refund would take 10 working days to reflect in my account. Till date I have not received any email confirmation.Today (22/07) when I call back they say that "sorry ma'm, it has not yet been processed"!! I am first supposed to receive a confirmation email from them and THEN only I would get the refund in the next 10 working days!! What is this?? Is someone joking here?? Is this how you help your consumers?? You even close the case with just one response of the company? I need an immediate solution for this or I may have to raise a complaint against you guys as well!

                                      Dis is with reference to product no[protected] dey have send a defective watch and when i complained about the same they said they saod nail it properly your problem will be solve .. i again send a mail to them dat i have tried to nail d watch properly bt still d same problem is there dat watch is getting tilted to one side and no reply from there site came this is such an bad respnse frm such a site who r trying to fool their customer
