Finally team pepperfry failed to respond to my query being raised.

Background:

I placed two orders from pepperfry and those were prepaid orders, but pepperfry cancelled both orders saying the prices were revised and hence we will not be able to supply that product to you on paid price which means either pepperfry is misleading the people or some fraudulent activity is been taking place with pepperfry.

When i call customer care they say the same thing. When i asked them to write an email on the same they refused to do so.

Even they failed to respond to my email.

Waste of buying with pepperfry.

    I do understand this very clearly about the policies and i do respect that.
    Hence, i had very politely asked for the replacement. Now, since we couldn't find any option to use this product - we wish to replace this.

    And, i hope pepperfy will definitely look into my order history - and never had raised any such requests earlier. I would appreciate if you can go back and review my profile to know the close association, i was having with pepperfry.

    Definitely and globally, there's always a 'way-out' for any solution.
    So, i expect a positive feedback from pepperfry

    I had been chasing customer service on the return of one of my purchase (Ref my order[protected]: and, been simply playing a ping-pong game with them - using a standard stupid reply 'not as per policy'.

    I do respect that, and also i do admit that.. Always there is case-to case basis interpretation for the resolutions.

    For the past 1.5yrs, i'd been placing orders frequently, a long term association. But pls don't stab the customers with rigid and in-humane response stating the 'policies'.

      Really worst to know that product displayed in portal is different and delivered other product. Pepperfry delivers product before date and will not update status till seven days return policy expires. Its waste of money to buy in pepperfry. Dont trust pepperfry. This looks like tricky bussiness plan to mislead customer. We should not encourage such e-commerce sites

      Ordered online the matress from www.pepperfry.com, recieved damage product and asked for refund but I am not getting any response from them and called somany times to the customer care, they are telling they will give replacement of the product but no one is coming to pick up the damaged matress, it is more than 15 days.
      Please help me unsubscribe from the SMSs I've been getting since quite a while. How do I do that ?
      I tried sending an email, but that did't work.
      I get SMSs quite frequently in-spite of being DND.
      Can you please help?
      I'd really like some help regarding this!

        I had booked a request for repair work for entertainment unit on 27/06/17. For the last 20 days, i have made several attempts to speak to senior manager for the delay in repair work.

        Every week i get 2-3 sms intimation from pepperfry confirming carpenter's visit but they dont fulfill the commitment.

        I spoke to gayatri khona from accounts department who promised prompt visit of carpenter on 6/7/17 but it never happened.

        None of my emails were answered by gayatri khona since 6/7/17. Surprisingly they dont have hierarchy in customer care to deal with phone calls / emails. They dont have nodal agency to punish juniors.

        This is worst service i ever receive from any corporate entity. Please dont get trapped by fancy advts.

          I have ordered a bed from pepperfry on 22june2017. After a long time of wait, they finally came to deliver on 12 july. The delivery boy refused to wait for an hour even as i was out.
          An hour later, he stopped responding to my calls and messages.
          Now, its showing that the product has been delivered.
          This is absolute nonsense. My first purchase on pepperfry turned a nightmare and i'm never going to shop from that site again.
          From my understanding pepperfry seem to have accumulated too many bad reviews.

            I've ordered a chair from pepperfry (Order no.[protected] on 7th july, 2017. I want to cancel my order as i'm in need of my money for personal purpose but i am not getting the option to cancel my order and getting a refund. If this is reaching to a senior management staff please let them know that customer support aren't that helpful and i even got a fake email in which it has been mentioned that i talked to an executive on phone but you can check my phone details i didn't get called by anyone. I'm in dire need of money so i request a refund as soon as possible (Make it as one time exception or i've read somewhere that pepperfry cuts 5% from the amount). So i want my refund to be generated. It should be cancelled since it didn't even get shipped

              Pepperfry has send me a bajaj fan which is nothing like the pic. Its been a 15 days and return is not enabled. I contacted the customer care and they said its a 7 days return policy after delivery luckily i did not depend on online return which is disabled raised a return ticket thru connecting thru chat. They offered 40%refund which i rejected and asked for return of goods and 100% refund. They agreed, but the pickup guy has never turned up. Its been more than 5 days and everyday i am getting a msg that the item will be picked up from home giving the pickup guy number. If called to that guy he never picks the phone.

              I am totally pissed off with how pepperfry is dealing its return policy.

                I am writing to inform all those who buy stuff online and are planning to buy furniture online. There's this website (Supposedly fraud) pepperfry which it seemed was quite popular with all those ads and reviews (I guess paid!). We were planning to buy a few furniture items and though of giving this a try than urban ladder which seemed pretty expensive. We ordered this siri bedside table in brown colour by the furniture store (Order #[protected] from pepperfry and paid by card in full online. It was delivered by 4th and till then everything was fine. But, since then i have been struggling to get a carpenter for the assembly which they should have done automatically. I first requested the assembly on the ivr and they are supposed to send it on the same day. When the carpenter did not arrive till 3pm i called customer service and then i come to know that the ivr request does not work! Extremely convenient! Then i placed a manual request for carpenter on 6th and they assigned one for 8th because they say that there was a carpenter issue in kolkata. So, on 8th when no carpenter visited by 2pm, there was no message from the company and no call, i called them up again.in the entire day i call them up thrice to only hear "sorry" the carpenter will visit today! Finally i received the carpenter number and when i call him (Rajan kumar m), he says he can either make it at 7pm on 8th or on 10th! And, i have already wasted the entire day waiting for carpenter. Out of frustration i asked him to come on monday 1st half. Now, when he finally visits us on monday (10th july 2017), he opens up the package and says there is manufacturing defect in the product as some of the wooden planks were missing the holes for fitting! He plain denied working on it and i am left in lurch. After these 6 days of harassment i have now requested for a refund by sending them two images of the defective product. Now, if i do not have this done on time and the refund is not processed at the earliest i would make sure that i go as high as possible to get compensated for this harassment.

                So, next time be warned if you are buying products from pepperfry!

                Hi,

                After you guys notified the pepperfry customer support there was this guy named Craig Corrie called me on July 11th. Call reference - (CAS-372709-T1G4C2) CRM:0005944. Although he tried to convince me in keeping the product and that they will send a carpenter who can drill holes, I denied that offer and wanted to return the product and get the full refund. I did this all the more because the previous carpenter from Pepperfry had already said that they cannot drill holes in the product, so there was no point. On the same day I received an email from the [protected]@pepperfry.com again requesting me to keep the product and accept a compnesation of Rs. 1500. I emailed them back saying I DO NOT want the product and want the product to be picked up and my amount to be refunded.

                On July 12th I called up again to confirm if the request had been processed and to my dismay it wasn't. The lady evidently took my request and told me the product will be picked up in the next 3 days. today is the 3rd day and since I did not hear anything I again called up the customer service and spoke to Nimisha. Now, they say that I can dispose the product and get the refund in the next 48 hours. I am also supposed to receive a confirmation email from them.

                I have all the call recordings for the discussions I had till date with them, but there's no option to upload it here.I wish you had that option so that I could prove what big liers these pepperfry guys are.

                I seriously don't trust these guys anymore. So, I would request someone to look into this and have my money refunded. Else I may have to take this higher up.

                This is to inform you that it has been 12 days since you last updated the status saying that Pepperfry guys have been notified about my complaint. They later asked me to dispose the product and said that the amount would be refunded. I was supposed t receive an email confirmation after which the refund would take 10 working days to reflect in my account. Till date I have not received any email confirmation.Today (22/07) when I call back they say that "sorry ma'm, it has not yet been processed"!! I am first supposed to receive a confirmation email from them and THEN only I would get the refund in the next 10 working days!! What is this?? Is someone joking here?? Is this how you help your consumers?? You even close the case with just one response of the company? I need an immediate solution for this or I may have to raise a complaint against you guys as well!

                      Placed an order for queen size bed and king size bed along with shoe stand with order no:[protected] and today they delivered queen size bed and information was misguided in the website regarding the sitting size of the product. I requested them regarding the sizes where is information is not available and so I asked them to cancel the king size bed which is order confirmation status only. they refused to do so. if product was delivered then I can understand the issues but why a product can't be cancelled which is not even shipped and when I call there customer care they is no solution or answer from them. I finally asked them to give a credit note where I can buy some other product also which they refused do so. pepper fry customer care people are telling you can write down a mail if you want to speak anything. how to take it forward

                        I bought had a disgusting experience with Pepperfry customer care today wherein they blamed us for the information your site concealed. Raj ( your rep) gave me a anxiety attack as he was rude and was verbally harassing me; due to which I had to visit a doctor.

                        I am denied to speak with management and you have sold my floorspace to me in the name of storage. This is unacceptable and against work ethics of any organization (provided you have any left).

                        I did not know that the talent Pepperfry had to deceive it's customers until now. First of all you sell a cot (order#[protected] with storage to me and then there are holes in the cabinet (which is rough and chipped) to injure anyone. Best part was unfolded in the end where the carpenter mentioned that your room flooring is the storage sold.

                        Amused with your strategy for mis-selling and fooling customer in the name of sale!

                        Please take the #crap back and return my money you stole from me.

                          on 4th July 2017 i changed my mind and tried to cancel the order from site, but there was no option to cancel the order so When I called the customer care, they are saying there is no policy for cancellation
                          when I check the delivery date is 1 month and shipment from warehouse not yet done

                          And also there is no policy been mentioned in the site

                          Order I'd for bedsheet is[protected] my husband was not sure about the quality of the product so we want to cancel the order and make another one . But I couldn't not find any option to cancel so called up customer care he was so rude and said once the order is placed it's placed and it can neither be cancelled nor can be returned. So cheap response. I will never order from this site what should I do with the product which I dint liked. Keep it with you only . Don't send the product also I feel I donated money to road side pepperfry team. I will go to consumer court as well. Very disgusting and disappointed.
                          I had order nilkamal storage cabinet and on the same I realized I won't be available at the shipping address for a month. So requested for cancellation but they said no cancellation is available.
                          The order has not even being shipped yet and it will take another 10days for the product to be delivered.

                          The customer service is of no use and very rude. Instead of giving best solution showed least interest. Infact when I said I won't be available very easily he said sorry you'll loose money there won't any refund in case no one is available to take your order.

                            I still haven't received my wardrobe, long past delivery date, duly paid for. No feedback on this is available after a mail on 23rd.
                            The order update says it will be delivered before 18th June!
                            The customer service people, shubham, Nilesh and a few dozen others are clueless. They arrange call backs from this Shubham, but this shubham doesnt bother to call .
                            I call up daily, they put me on long holds and the call gets cut.

                            I am totally frustrated and would like to cancel and have a refund, but there is nobody to help

                              Respectfully i request to say that bombay dying is a famous company in in clothe's quality matter. Specially in bed sheets. I have given a order of three bed sheets. But delivered order on 28 june 2017. I received old poor quality bed sheets perhaps fourth and fifth class people also will not like to use at their bed so inferior and sub standard quality bedsheets. Peoples do buy goods from online that no any hearing for their problems & sold duplicate goods, it is possible in world.in india it is common. Perhaps these bed sheets are also may be. I do not blame any one. My request is to say only that really bedsheet's quality is low substandard.
                              Another thing is that description on website written so seems three bedsheets except of one, written bedsheet - set of 3 by bombay dyeing. It means it is a case of wrong description.

                                I have ordered three items from pepperfry. I realized that by mistake i have included a wardrobe also in the order which i forgot to remove from cart.                                   I placed an order 30 mins back and after placing realized that it wont get delivered in time. Now the customer service cant expedite the order, and they wont cancel the order because its against company policies.

                                  The order is not even shipped and they wont cancel or change the delivery address at an additional charge. Very poor service. Highly not recommend. Stay away

                                    Pepperfry is nothing but cheaters!

                                    Without sending a email that the complaint has been closed, allegedly the complaint has been closed that it cannot be repaired.

                                    The bunk bed has been broken due to manufacturing defect.
                                    To naked eye it can be seen that there is an ordinary quality joining of the load bearing wooden frame of the bed.

                                    Product is still under warranty.

                                    When the carpenter visited our house, he admitted that is a manufacturing damage and it cannot be fixed and asked me to write to pepperfry which i did.

                                    Carpenter did not mention anything that it is due to wear and tear etc.

                                    After waiting for so many days, today a back dated email is shared (which did not even reach my inbox) that the complaint is closed as the defect cannot be rectified.

                                    This was not even communicated to me not did the carpenter say this to me. Further when asked to share the report of the carpenter, it is not being shared with me. Such a shame on you pepperfry.

                                    It has caused so much inconvenience to my young children without the bunk bed.

                                    When i call pepperfry customer care no. They keep me on hold for 20 minutes and then abruptly hang up the phone. This has happened to me 4 times repeatedly. I kept trying for 5 times when finally it was answered. Toll free no. Does not work.

                                    Thus it is clear that the intention of pepperfry is to cheat and nothing but to cheat its customers.

                                    I have also seen the reviews of pepperfry on mouthshut where people have complained about defective products, being damaged in no time, etc. Nevertheless the ratings of pepperfry is so very low, people should have given zero star if that was available.

                                    For cheating the customer, i am lodging a police complaint with the concerned police, followed by consumer complaint. Face it.

                                    Peppery refunded the entire amount to my account
                                    Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    They are pathetic. Never buy costly items from them. My 17k cot broke down within a year of purchase. Even though it's under warranty they are saying it's wear and tear. How does a cot break within a year o[censored]sage specially when used by a single person??? This is absolutely outrageous. They don't value people's hard earned money.

                                      Dear Sirs,
                                      Respectfully I request to say that Bombay Dying is a famous company in in clothe's quality matter.Specially in bed sheets .I have given a order of three bed sheets.But delivered order on 28 june 2017. I received old poor quality bed sheets Perhaps fourth and fifth class people also will not like to use at their bed so inferior and sub standard quality bedsheets. Peoples do buy goods from online that no any hearing for their problems & sold duplicate goods, It is possible in world .In India it is common.Perhaps these bed sheets are also may be.I do not blame any one.My request is to say only that really bedsheet's quality is low substandard.
                                      Another thing is that description on website written so seems three bedsheets except of one, Written Bedsheet - Set Of 3 By Bombay Dyeing. It means it is a case of wrong description.
                                      Now you are requeted to look in the matter.Thanks!

                                      Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      My fairly expensive solid wood dining table started cracking within 2 months...no resolution offered as they had once given a refund for a chair that was despatched broken...they have some policy that customer can't complain twice about the same product...howsoever they can ship products with multiple defects...50k wasted.
