I had placed order no[protected] on pepper fry website. The item i received is not as advertised. The body is supposed to made to stainless steel, however the item has green paint inside which is not safe to store food and unfortunately the website pictures doesn't show whats inside.

The customer service refused to accept the return and then i escalated the issue. 48hours and no one contacted me. 2nd escalation done and some one from customer service called me and was very very rude. They simply do not want to accept their fault. The problem is still pending and i will file a case with consumer court shortly

    Sir/madam
    It is intimated that i have bought an exhaust fan of orient make through online from m/s. Pepperfry vide their invoice no. Sv/hr/ggn/17-18/0005136 dated 28.08.2017 which was delivered to me on 30.08.2017 and after receipt of the product i have noticed that the product have manufacturing defect. I have informed m/s. Pepperfry immediately on 30.08.2017and requested them to replace or return the product. I have also informed them through email & chat with the executive of m/s. Pepperfry online also, but i am extremely sorry to say that as on today they have neither returned the product nor replaced with another one and in response suggested me to talk the vendor directly for the concerned issue.
    In this connection, i intimate you that i have denied to talk the vendor directly as i have purchased the item through m/s. Pepperfry only and not from the vendor, hence it’s the responsibility of m/s. Pepperfry. While chatting from the executive of m/s. Pepperfry he informed me that it’s the return policy of m/s. Pepperfry, but when i gone through the return policy of m/s. Pepperfry i found that in the return policy it is clearly mentioned that the electrical product having any manufacturing defect can be returned subject to fulfillment of the following:
    Category reasons
    1. Damaged or dead on arrival
    2. Manufacturing defect or expired product
    3. Incorrect or incomplete product.
    Reasons
    1. No longer need the product
    2. Any other reason
    Category specific return terms
    Hardware & electricals return can be requested within 7days of delivery
    For products under warranty – warranty period & terms would apply in case of damage/ defect cannot be returned
    • clear images required
    • need to retain the original packaging.
    • refund will be processed after pick-up of the product (Pick-up within 3 days)
    • return request will be cancelled if product pick-up is not allowed by customer till 7 days after request
    • refund will be processed only in initial mode of payment

    Further, i intimate that i have fulfilled all the required conditions mentioned above and informed m/s. Pepperfry on same day of delivery and also uploaded the three images of the defective product.
    In view of above, i request your good-self to kindly intervene in the matter so that i may get justice by replacement of a correct product or refund of the same. I hope, the matter may be taken on priority basis. With regards

      Hello mr. Ceo,

      Hope you are doing well, want to congratulate you on the success of pepperfry. I wanted to be part of pepperfry family with my first order #[protected]. From recommendation from my friend and seeing your easy 7-days return policy.

      But to my astonishment it turns out not to be easy returns or cancellation even after 8 hrs (That to night) of placing the order. I see 7-day easy return on the product page with no links to detailed policy. I purchased a bed at 1am today and requested for cancellation at 9am today and was told it can't be cancelled or return (If no damage).

      I don't want this bed because i have been told by the expert that my thin mattress will not fit this beds iron rods base.

      If i would have gone to an offline store, they would have told me madam this won't fit your mattress, you buy flat base wooden bed because i am not the expert.

      But we don't have that privilege in online buys, so you guys give easy return or cancellation policy.in this case its not even shipped, please consider your policies, i know you are the expert, i am just making the recommendation.

      Let me know if you could please cancel my order #[protected] and refund my money.

        I placed order in pepperfry on 28th of august order no:[protected], they scheduled a delivery by 14th of september but deliverd on 21st of september, tat to not provided carpenter assembly as promised and received product was in damaged condition and upon asking customer care they told they will refund money for that, it's been 10 days still haven't received refund and any updates regarding this issue from pepperfry, and there contact no also not connecting. They are giving fake assurances, please find attached the screen shots of mail conversation and photos of damaged product, please take some serious action against this company

          The bed that has been delivered to me is different in dimensions that advertised on pepperfry website. Here is the url of the product - https://www.pepperfry.com/queen-metal-bed-with-hydraulic-storage-by-furniturekra...

          The bed i ordered from pepperfry is advertised as 60 x79 inches which should be equal to 152 x 200 cms but i got a delivery on 3rd october of a bed that comes as 160 x 197 cms. This difference in size eliminated my layout and decor plan to place a foot bench and bedsides next to the bed as well as the recommended mattress size on the website is 152 x 190 which doesn't fit the bed. There must be a clear communication on bed dimensions between the pepperfry manufacturer/vendor so that it saves customer the trouble. This is their internal hassle and why consumer has to suffer. I am not sure if i shall buy any big furniture from online websites like pepperfry again.

          I requested to lodge a complaint to return the bed but because since 3 days a carpenter hasn't come to even install the bed (Sla - 24 hours), the customer care is not accepting my return request and are hell bent on carpenter doing the assembly and are not processing reverse pickup and refund. I am not sure what should i do, hence reaching out to this forum so that i could return the bes and pepperfry processes refund.

            We ordered a mattresses in their e - commerce website but due to some reasons like delivery issues and price we wanted to cancel our order but their customer care service is saying that there is no possibility to cancel and no refund. It is too much sir. So many customers also facing this problem. So please take immediate action as early as possible and save many customers from this type of inconvenience.

            I ordered a few items all in stock and after paying it cam as delivery 16 October

            i am NRI and leaving back home and there is no reply from pepperfry on telephone or email

            there seems no way of contacting after you buy!

                Transaction id[protected]. Received damaged product. I was promised compensation - which i did not receive. Now the returns period is also over. I am stuck with damaged product.
                I tried calling customer care (Only one number). Cannot connect. Tried writing. I was asked to upload photos. I did that too. Still the problem is unresolved. I tried taking it to the mid level redressal (Next step). When i try to submit it, the website is instructing me not to contact the founders directly. What!!!? These people are truly bogus

                I had ordered 2 door wardrobe..it's delivered and assembled..but the lock which is used at the top of the door is already come out..it's still 3 days product got assembled..it's bcoz the carpenter hasn't fixed properly...I want it to be refixed or the lock to be replaced if its necessary..

                  This is your valuable customer who had placed
                  Order:[protected] through which duplicate tupperware bottles were delivered to me.
                  I even confirmed that these bottles were duplicate by comparing them with same tupperware bottles of same model no. And also by visiting local authorised tupperware seller who confirmed that these are duplicate tupperware bottles.
                  The bottles you have sent me are of deteriorated place as well if i squeeze them once they will simply get broken up.
                  Also you have sent me wrong color other than displayed on website.
                  I didn't even think that am going to face such an issue and disgusting issue with one of its best e-commerce: pepperfry.
                  Thus request you to help me with return.
                  I have registered complaint to founders & senior's authority but still no help.

                    Case reference number-wr[protected].. Recieved a bunk bed from pepperfy, with bad substandard quality, also a king size bed which is not too big for room, they refuse to replace it with a smaller one, though showing in advertisement that they take back what doesn't fit, endless being put on hold with no solutions.
                    Need a solution for what does a customer do if the products does not fit the space, they are misleading people by showing fake ads and not delivering as per that..

                        Description : i have purchased kitchen chimney on pepperfry and after few months o[censored]sage it stopped working. I have raised the complaint with pepperfry and sent the pics of the chimney to them. I was told to reach out to the following numbers to raise a complaint with [protected] - elegant customer care (It is a fake number which will automatically disconnect your call), [protected] - vendor poc from elegant (He takes the details like address, order id, model every time i call. But no response post that).

                        Issue 1) the customer care nos listed on elegant website http://www.eleganthomeappliances.com/contactus.html doesn't work. They are fooling people by giving wrong numbers there

                        Issue 2) since i purchased the item from pepperfry, they are responsible to close this. Everytime i reachout to them they will say that issue will be resolved today. But no progress. Complaint numbers for your reference (Ch[protected], ch[protected], ch[protected], ch[protected], ch-[protected], ch-[protected]. Everyday i am following up multiple times and all that pepperfry is doing is loggin new tickets and closing old ones for no reason.

                          This is in reference with order number[protected] I purchased 1 heart shaped mould which was delivered on 30th of August. The very same day I registered a complain to Pepper fry that its damaged, the very next day I got an Email from Mr Vipul that it will be taken care of and somebody will call me in 24 to 48 hours of time. nobody called for good 5 days. I sent the email again saying that nobody has called, its been over 5 days but Pepper fry was sleeping on it. Nobody even bothered to call. I escalated the complaint finally after almost 10 days Vipul called and he said that he is arranging for replacement or refund and after that it's been over 15 days there is no communication from Pepperfry. I must have contacted Pepper fry at least 6 times in these 15 days and there is absolutely no response from them. and every complaint gets closed without any resolution.

                            Unfortunately, i placed order for disha round 1.5l easy flow containers on 2nd spetember. By mistake the address of pune is selected. I was supposed to select the address of chandigarh. After few minutes i requested customer care to change the address or to cancel the order but they did not change the address and cancel the order.

                            After my request and mail they ignored all and shipped product on 4th september to pune. They told me to place the new order parallel to old order. Means money for one order is already stuck with pepperfry and they want me to go for another order.

                            No one is available in pune address, it was also informed them not to ship as no one is there but still they went for delivery. Then i informed them to deliver the product to neighbor. Till on 14th september the product is not delivered. Even i have not received any call for this concern from the customer care.

                            Very pathetic and disappointing experience. Please do not purchase any product from pepperfry. You can purchase anything from amazon, flipkart blindly. At least your refund will be 100% sure. This pepperfry case is eye opener for all who rely in e - commerce sites.

                            I have used amazon, flipkart, snapdeal, shopclues, paytm, voonik, limeroad, ebay.in. But this is my worst experience ever. If you want to purchase you can go for any of the site blindly.

                            Pepperfry is never ever be recommended by me.

                            I ordered one three seater sofa (order #[protected] on august 14 2017 and the delivery date given as 6th sep 2017 but till now have not received the delivery . Tried multiple times the customer care but even more pathetic experience they have no clue about when it would be delivered and never call back about the status.

                              The product was delivered defective initially. After 2 weeks they delivered and again, defective. We asked them to take back the item and their delivery team asked us to contact pepperfry and they have procedures for refund. Contacted pepperfry team for refund and take back of item. They (Mr. Yogesh) keep apologizing every day and that he has given the matter to refund team to take care (Mr. Swapnil) and he will call. We wait for his call every other day and he never calls neither refunds!!

                                I bought dinning set from them & as per the promo code terms & conditions i have applied during the booking, i should get partial cashback. But when i have checked the status of cashback after the product delivered they denied any such cashback offer. Then i have shared their website promo code terms & conditions snapshot to give the proof, then they said that we have changed the policy of cashback & now they are not giving. Then i asked that howcome it changed, then they said that we they have all the rights to change it anytime. Then i asked why they have not updated on website, on this they said that it was our marketing team mistake & they can't do for it.

                                We should stop buying products from these people as they are spoiling & putting negative impact on india's digital era. Very bad

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                For the received item, quality of cushion is very poor and it doesn't serve the purpose. I never expected such a poor quality from pepperfry. I have requested them to do a return. But it's not happening. Really worst customer centric behavior from pepperfry.

                                  Pathetic service! Have placed the order tcs[protected] since nearly two months at the local property studio and have made the entire payment for offline order with all necessary formalities and we came to know before 4 days that the order wasn't even placed. No internal communication. For these 1.5/ 1.75 months or so we were promised different delivery dates 4 times and it has not yet arrived even worse, they hadn't even placed the order with entire amount in their pockets. Absolutely horrible and frustrating. And every time we had to keep calling they never called back or provided correct information. Worf experience ever. Would never recommend anyone this torture.

                                    Attached are the images for the everyone's reference. When i raised a return request stating a colour mis match, the customer support said that they have a disclaimer that colour may vary from the original product and denied my request. So does pepperfry have a right to send whatever they want to send regardless under the so called 'colour may vary' disclaimer? Honestly, i haven't seen the disclaimer on the product site.
                                    The customer service executives are trained rather fed with only one statement that unfortunately we have denied the return request, they do not perhaps use their mind to really understand a customer's angle. All-in-all, a totally non-customer oriented company.

                                      I have bought 2 products from pepperfry through order id[protected]. Both the products table and chair were defective. When i put in a request for return / replacement they have told they are looking for replacement. I am calling them since 3 weeks and getting same response. Now when i asked to return the money there customer care executive (Priya) is saying only returns team can take the decision and full returns team is not in office. R they a chai shop or a company. What a joke. Cheaters. Either replace the product or return my money, else action will be police complaint. Do not test my patience beyond limits.

                                        I had ordered a nariko 4 door wardrobe from pepperfry. When the product was assembled i noticed that the backside of the wardrobe was just a thin sheet. There was no image of the backside of the product nor any description that the backside will be only a thin sheet. I contacted customer service and stated as the product is not as per description the same may be taken back. They refused. I had lodged 3 complaints escalating to the level of founders. There has been no response. Please don't buy from pepperfry. The worst products and even worse customer service
