They give wrong information before ordering the product. I ordered a product which was to be delivered after 5 weeks.in the mid, i had some requirements from my company to move to another city for 1 month.
I talked with 2 customer executives to understand their process and they told me that if i am not available during delivery, they will keep the product in their store house for 10 days. Post which the product is returned and money will be refunded. Name of executives were gayatri sapariya (Ph[protected] and suzanne lobo (Ph[protected].
Now that i am unable to receive the product, they are simply denying to refund, and say we cannot cancel and cannot refund. The customer care and escalation team is saying - it's your problem, not pepperfry's problem. An they agree that they will keep the money once order is placed, then they will not help in any manner.
Who on earth can guarantee that there won't be any situation within next 4 weeks, where someone will not be available? This is the 1st company i see who will keep your money by all means - no refund, no cancellation.
Never buy from their website. Better to buy from those who have cancellation and return policies. I brought something for 4k. But imagine some one placed an order for 40k.
This is not a fake complain.
