On 18th may 2017, i placed an order[protected] with pepperfry. After making the payment via credit card, i receive a mail saying payment failed. So, i place the order again[protected]. On 19th may, i started getting updates on both orders, so i contacted the customer care via chat: interaction id (Ca69275) crm:0005979) spoke to tapas das. I informed that one of the orders need to be cancelled. He assured me he will take action. 2 days later, my order is still not cancelled and both order have shipped/arrived. I talk to the customer care again, asking them not to deliver one order: interaction id: (Ph472194) crm:0005465, spoke bhushan ahire this time. Again, i was assured that the order will be cancelled and not delivered. Today, 25th may, the delivery guy comes and insists on delivering both the orders. I called customer care again: (Ph477307) crm:0005272, spoke to raj thapa this time. He tells me they will give a call back. I am pretty convinced by now that the intent here is to cheat and not refund my money. On the site, the escalation mechanism is an eyewash. You have to register a complaint, to escalate. But for your complaint, nothing gets done. When you try to escalate, they keep giving you the message, that you need to raise a complaint first!!! Interestingly, there is no way of reaching out to any higher levels of escalation. You are repeatedly pointed to the same customer care. There is no tracking/linking with the previous complaint!!

Complaint marked as Resolved I posted a link to this complaint to pepperfry twitter handle and this issue was resolved. I received a call immediately and the refund still took time, but it was done.
