We bought 2 items (Shoe rack and sideboard) order no.[protected] but the sideboard was complete defective and none of the drawers were opening. We informed the issue to customer care and uploaded the pictures. Subsequently a carpenter came from pepperfry and cut the sides of all the drawer to make it open and by doing that he has already damaged the product more (The videos of the carpenter also has been shared with the customer care). Then again the carpenter came to colour the same and then also the drawyers were not opening which he again cut, by now the 15 days old sideboard has been cut multiple times. Then again after 2 fays the drawyers were not opening and few hook of the drawyers also broken which we have informed pepper fry multiple times but not resolved.

It is really a terrible situation, against the principle of all natural sellers across the world. If someone writes anything in terms and conditions it can't become a law. I have placed an order half an hour back, can not cancel the same. #order number[protected]

    I ordered "white mdf apollo set top box tv/dvd player shelf by aymh".
    Order#[protected] on 15th may2017 and received on 24th may 2017.
    The size as mentioned in the website was 24x10x1.5 inch (Link below).

    The package i received was smaller in size and the dimension mentioned is 16.19x12.97x3.97 inch (Attached). And when i measured the size is even smaller than this (Approximately 12x10x1.5 inch).

    I raised a return request quoting the reason. I received a sms that i will be contacted within 48hrs. I expected a call but received a mail asking to upload the image (A call would have been quicker).

    I uploaded the image through the pepperfry app. Following this no response from pepperfry. When i called back there customer care i was told they did not receive the image due to some issues in the app and said i should have uploaded on a web browser, i was told there manger will get back to me in 24hours but no response yet.

    I haven't opened the package as anyways i could measure even without opening it. And its evident that the product is not of dimension that i ordered.

    At least i expect that take back the product check the facts and then come to conclusion for refund.

    It is unacceptable that pepperyfry says that they cannot take the request because of their app issue. No reply to my repeated emails. Please help!

      I ordered a cupboard with 4 doors and 2 drawers for my sister. Since no one lives there, my 80 year old father opened the apartment and took the delivery. I went there when I found a few days later to find my Order #[protected] was completely wrong. They sent a 3 door cupboard.
      The call center just tells me that 7 day policy is lapsed, good luck with your purchase.
      Cheapsters! really. Carpenter said he will come " tomorrow " with locks. It has been two weeks i have not heard from him either.
      I paid for a product by seeing the image, I should get it. Simple as that.

        Hi sir,
        I have ordered emma queen bed in pepperfry and the ordered has been delivered on time appreciate that. But since from very first day i am requesting for assembly and no one has visited yet and it is not possible to assemble my self product quality not good, parts not suitable to each other and light weight.
        Its waste of money. I have never faced any problem with any other online services. Once we pay the money in pepperfry...

        I ordered a Boom High Back Ergonomic Chair by Emperor. One would expect an ergonomic chair to be good for the back, and it was great. But for a good one month. One fine day the back panel just gave up and became useless. If I lean on it, it will break. The plastic/reinforcement steel bar flexed and now the chair is useless. Pepperfry refuses to service saying there is no warranty. They asked me get it fixed locally, but the local carpenter says the back panel will have to be replaced. And pepperfry "customer care" refuse to arrange for a replacement part. If I can't get a part to repaired in a city like Mumbai, it's a testament to the brands selling on pepperfry. Good luck to anyone who's thinking of buying anything from pepperfry. Take my advice and go to the nearby store for furniture.

          We ordered a the am temple on 18-may-17 online on pepper fry. Order no is[protected]. The packet was supposedly handed over to dtdc on 24-may-17 for delivery to delhi. Since 29-may-17 we are talking to their customer service[protected] and everyday we are told someone will contact us with in 24 hrs. Names of few of the persons we have spoken to are priya, shubham. All of them say one sumit will speak to us. Forget about his calling us he is just not available. The product price is rs 6, 959.

          Finally today we checked with local (Pune) dtdc office and they informed us that this packet has not been handed over to their mumbai office (Tracking id given to us by pepper fry is d[protected].

          On being asked to refund money customer service says they will return only after they get back the product). Now everything looks fishy.

            Hi recently I ordered[protected] beds in pepperfry. It's having 2Items.with one item there is a no problem but with another item there is quality issues.
            Even I followup the customer care simply they are
            Denying the return. Guys please don't order any item in pepperfry, and they are cheaters. Becareful if you want to order anything. I would say better to avoid these type of vendors.

            Can anyone help me to get this resolved?

            ordered set of oil dispenser from pepperfry but have not received the delivery yet after 11 days customer care have only one answer that i will receive tomorrow but there tomorrow never came. further as a consequence i requested them for refund so that i can buy it from somewhere else but they told that i will get refund after 10 days which is very unfair with me. boycott pepperfry the worst ever online site
            Till now, there is no response from pepperfry support regarding my complaint.
            This again proven how they are providing customer service and how irresponsible they are.

              I ordered kosmo 3 door wardrobe, which I received in damaged condition. Probably because of poor packaging. The person who came to assemble on behalf of pepperfry, assembled some parts and when he saw that backpanel is damaged, he didnt assemble the remaining parts like door and all. I have raised a refund request, but person from customer care said that by monday 29th may, they will surely have that damaged part changed. Now its already tuesday 30th may, nothing has been done. Pepperfy wont contact customers. Customers have to struggle. I called them today and asked for refund, they now said that they have raised the refund request and it will take 7 - 10 days. Already its more then a week and I am following with them on every alternate day. They also nothing is done. Very very poor service. My first and last transaction with Peperfry. Never knew it is this bad.

              Pepperfry guys have opened the packing and left it in unassembled state. Now do you expect customer to keep such a big thing in such a state for this long?? Pepperfry guys please have this picked up and return back my money for a damaged product. from first day I am trying to follow up with you guys but the answer I receive is that you will get a call back tomorrow for sure.

                The lamp that I unfortunately got from Pepperfry came with a scratch and the lamp shade was torn and bent. It was in a very bad condition for which they agreed for a partial refund after which once I used it for the first time, It blew my fuse off. They are telling they cannot do anything about it. Absolutely don't care about the customers.Bad quality and hazardous stuff sold..better go buy from good stores after seeing the products..Also no COD and no easy returns..Customer care agents are very unprofessional as well. Never received a proper callback as promised. After multiple attempts got a call from escalation lady and I was told the same scripted answer "we can't do anything about this.."

                  On 18th may 2017, i placed an order[protected] with pepperfry. After making the payment via credit card, i receive a mail saying payment failed. So, i place the order again[protected]. On 19th may, i started getting updates on both orders, so i contacted the customer care via chat: interaction id (Ca69275) crm:0005979) spoke to tapas das. I informed that one of the orders need to be cancelled. He assured me he will take action. 2 days later, my order is still not cancelled and both order have shipped/arrived. I talk to the customer care again, asking them not to deliver one order: interaction id: (Ph472194) crm:0005465, spoke bhushan ahire this time. Again, i was assured that the order will be cancelled and not delivered. Today, 25th may, the delivery guy comes and insists on delivering both the orders. I called customer care again: (Ph477307) crm:0005272, spoke to raj thapa this time. He tells me they will give a call back. I am pretty convinced by now that the intent here is to cheat and not refund my money. On the site, the escalation mechanism is an eyewash. You have to register a complaint, to escalate. But for your complaint, nothing gets done. When you try to escalate, they keep giving you the message, that you need to raise a complaint first!!! Interestingly, there is no way of reaching out to any higher levels of escalation. You are repeatedly pointed to the same customer care. There is no tracking/linking with the previous complaint!!

                    Today I ordered 2 Orient Orina Copper & Brown fans via order no[protected]/[protected], but when I searched for the review I got very bad reviews of this product, I immediately called the customer care no of Pepperfry & asked them to cancel both my orders. But to my surprise they disagreed to cancel the order & told me they that I cant cancel the order. This is a very pathetic Customer service form a company like Pepperfry yo treat like this with their genuine customers. I am very disappointed with the service Pepperfry is giving as i requested the product to be cancelled before dispatch. I request you to consider my agony & cancel both the orders & give me full refund at the earliest.

                      I ordered for 3 ceiling fans from pepper fry vide order#[protected]. Pepper fry promised to deliver this item by 18th may.
                      However product is delayed in delivery and there is no answer from pepper fry.
                      This product is delayed for 5 days. A case was registered on 17th may with pepper fry. No call back received so far and no information on the delivery of the product.
                      Worst experience ever. Their customer service representative is horrible, do not answer on specifics, just goes on repeating same words. No escalation point of contact. Worst return policy. I do not know how they are doing business in india.

                        I ordered a set of pindia cream curtains from pepperfry's app.. Being a regular customer of the website i never expected to be cheated.. However i received an item which was very different to the websites image as well as my expectations.. I spoke to the customer care and despite that i have received absolutely no help or cooperation from the team, let alone anything else atleast there' should be some basic etiquette to revert to customers and hear out their problem. I am extremely unhappy with the product and just because the team does not agree with the difference i see in the product image on the website and the one i have received they refuse to take it back.                           I bought a furniture in pepperfry online 2 months ago. It broke in three weeks time in such a way it cannot be used forever. Mailed to the pepperfry twice. They promised to send a carpenter but no one turned up yet. Maybe it cannot be mended so they are deliberately postponing till the warranty expires. Please be honest n take away the piece n kindly refund

                            By mistake i placed order for a study table from pepperfry. As i wanted to change the product, i contacted your customer executive. Its just 5 minutes back i placed the order and your customer support refused to cancel it, and moreover the rude behavior of your executives, pathetic.

                              Bought a 3seater sofa from pepperfry and it is the worst sofa ever. The cushion is next to nothing and it's very uncomfortable. They foam density was not mentioned on the site, and we enquired specifically to check if the sofa is soft and they ensured that it was.

                              After delivery we realised that the sofa is hard as a bench. The customer care of pepperfry is horrible and irresponsible. The executive agreed that it was fault on their part that they did not inform us about the density but refused to do anything about it.

                              We went checked with the pepperfry showroom and they also ensured us about it. They are conning people by sending horrible quality furniture and they refuse to do anything about it. What kind of a company does this. We wasted our hard-earned money on trash from PEPPERFRY!!!

                                Despite repeated assurance in the website about the multiple stages of quality checks, the item delivered (Floral theme kids bunk bed sku: fn1381636-p-wh11930) was of dismal quality with paint swelling and rust in the metal parts. To top it off the item came without ladder making it practically useless.

                                Pepperfry return/cancellation policy is also horrible, an item once ordered cannot be cancelled or replaced at any cost except in case of a faulty product which is poor compared to other similar online sellers. I was trying to cancel the order the next day of placing it and the product was not even shipped at that point. Customer service was not of any help as they kept repeating the script about policy that prevents cancellation and return. The cancellation/return/refund policy is written at a not so obvious place, so customers be careful to read the return and replacement policy before taking the plunge.

                                Another grouse is the lack of quality information about the product in the website, almost all products in the same category has generic product description. You are left to guess the product details and features from the images provided. So if you want to know specific details about a particular product, there is no way but to contact customer support via phone or email, which again yields mixed response. I called twice, both agents provided conflicting information and then i wrote an email to which i got two followup calls stating they are gathering requested information from the seller and a final call about 5 days later with accurate information.

                                About the installation process, pepperfry allocated only a single person to assemble an item as big as a bunk bed! He was struggling and finally i had to assign my labourers to help hold the parts. He also made multiple calls to some backend team, but they were unyielding and he had to finish the installation all alone.

                                On the positive side, reaching the customer support is fairly quick and delivery timeliness is also upto mark. Carpenter came for installation the next day of delivery which is another positive. Eventually i returned the product (Which was possible only because i could prove the product was bad quality and ladder missing), the same carpenter came back for dismantling the product and another group came to pick the item back on the same day. Overall the return and refund process went smoothly without any hassles. Reliability can only be commented upon after extended period o[censored]sage.

                                  I recently ordered a Multi-framed Wall Decor from pepperfry, after checking found the quality of the decor piece is highly poor, not worth the price at all. I decided to return given the poor quality and when tried to do so, could not find the option of return in case the quality is poor. The options given for the return are 1) incorrect/incomplete product, 2) damaged product 3) infected one and no option for poor quality which could always be the case than the other three. After contacting the customer care, the executive completely denied to return and refund as the policy doesn't do so for poor quality. While selling a product Online, return and refund are the basic options that a website has to have. This is totally insane, there is every chance that the product quality could be poor and for the same pepperfry doesn't have a policy, looks like violating the basic right of a consumer not to like a product.

                                  The products shown on the website look good however when you will receive them you will find a product with poor quality and they do not even have an option to return or get a refund for this reason. I wonder how can one sell products online and do not get an option to return or refund for such common reasons.

                                  So, you will be stuck with a cheap quality product in a price that does not worth it at all. They have definitely lost a customer and I will make sure to inform everyone in my contacts not to purchase any product from Pepperfry.com.
                                  I have recently ordered Jaypee brown Plastic basket (Ordered no[protected] a from pepperfry, after checking found the quality of the product is very poor & not as per expectation . I have already initiated the return request but no one come to pick up after that coordinating with customer care but they are denied to arrange the return and refund as the policy doesn't for poor quality & as per customer care option are available return only for damaged items/incorrect etc.

                                  I think peppery online shopping cheating the customer & this is worst experiences in online shopping where i have already shopping with amazon & flipkart but never comes any issue for returning the product.

                                  Please do not purchase any kind of product with pepperfry .

                                    Purchase : king size bed and king size mattress

                                    Issue : mattress not fitting in the bed groove

                                    Product description of bed clearly mentions the appropriate measurement of mattress and the suggested one was purchased from pepperfry itself.

                                    The mattress is around 78 inches in length, while the bed groove where the mattress is supposed to fit is around 75-76 inches.

                                    Please provide a resolution. I have also taken a video of which the link is as below. You can also speak to the carpenter who had assembled the bed.

                                      I placed an order on 23rd april, and the delivery is scheduled between 18th and 22nd may.
                                      Now, i called up customer care to cancle this purchase that i placed a few days back against a new purchase (Yet to order agianst cancellation of current order), but they bluntly replied that they cannot cancel the order.
                                      Deliver is scheduled by the end of may.
                                      And it is just a sofa for you guys.
                                      I changed my mind to go for a change of order bz at the time of my current purchase, the stock was not available for
                                      Florence fantasy lhs three seater sofa, and your team in bangalore studio said that this product wont be available for next 15 days.
                                      Now as it is available, please allow me to buy the product i liked 1st.
