This is the worst ever online Shopping experience I am having, though I have ordered more than 10 times from pepperfry and never returned anything this time I ordered curtains worth 3k and the pic showed full length curtains while what I received was half length, I put in a return request to get the curtains exchanged and this size is completely useless for me as I have french windows. The customer care guy who called me was extremely rude and said they have a new return policy and would not even exchange it, he used the words I don't care and escalate to whoever u want and was the worst customer care guy I have ever spoken with. Also I multiple times told him that my 3k will go down the drain as I cannot use this and only want a replacement and he just didn't seem to care, d website has 0 value for customers and never again will i order. Also when I went back to the order on the app the return option is gone and there is no option to even add feedback this is disgusting behavior from pepperfry...online shopping is all about having the liberty to return i[censored] don't like

We had a very worst experience with pepperfry and will suggest all to go for urban ladder then this company. Unfortunately made the mistake by buying 2 things from this side and both are terrible and their customer service sucks ... No cancellation, No exchange and No refund... pathetic.

    Hi,
    I had ordered 'Winner Study Table in Rigato Walnut Finish by Spacewood' and received delivery on 5th March, Order no:[protected]. The product is not the Color what is shown in website/app. Within two days, I launched complaint which was addressed by the 'concerned' person in 10 days. Despite sharing the photos of the table, that person did not bother to look at it but checked through some internal team who said Color is same. Following up with further mail, they are not at all concerned about it but in attitude of do whatever you like. This is truly unprofessional behaviour which was not expected from 'self claimed' biggest online furniture store. As most of the products are third party, Pepperfry does not seem to take sole responsibility.
    I hope this complain doesn't go unheard.
    I have attached not assembled boards and table photo taken from Pepperfry application.

      I ordered a pair of cushion covers which looked good in the images provided. However, once I received the order, I realized that they were of very low quality fabric. Its transparent and cant be used on regular white cushion fillers. I requested a return of this item, to which they replied that it cant be returned if the customer doesn't like the product. Now how is one supposed to know the quality of fabric through images. After this one email, I have not received any reply to my subsequent emails to them. This is really unfair to the customers and they should make sure the customer know the return policy clearly before buying. No where did I read in BOLD letters about their "very different" return policy. It is company's prerogative to decide their return policy but atleast don't fool the customers into believing that they are dealing with yet another e-commerce website.

      Pepperfry has worst Return & Exchange Policy. I bought some products 3-4 months and when I tried to return it they flatly refused it. The items are still lying unused in my home. Luckily I didn't order any big ticket item and never ever buy anything from this cheater company. I hope that this Company goes down soon.

        I had ordered a mchannah bunker bed which was delivered on 17th feb. The assigned carpenter did not report for assembling the unit till 10th march and kept denying duty saying that the area (Vasant kunj) doesnt come under his duty territory. After raising yet another complaint i was assigned the same carpenter!!

        The carpenter on opening the bed found that one of the bed boards had broken into two parts and said that this is defective and that the installation could not be done. I once again called the consumer helpline and they now refuse to replace/repair or accept any blame for having sent a broken, defective product.

        I will never recommend anyone to buy any product from pepperfry.com. Absolutely bogus company with a ridiculous customer service and illogical return policy - how can a company not accept responsibility for a product that is delivered in broken/damaged condition??

          Please check the screenshot attached, as per the company Pepperfry they have already initiated refund on 3rd March which is still not reflecting in the account. please check on the bank reference number in the screenshot attached, it has been 10 days since the refund was initiated.             Placed 2 orders with Pepperfry on the 18th Feb for 2 products (Ref - Order No.[protected] & Order No.[protected] for a wall clock & key holder.
            Have only received the wall clock on Feb 27, found that it is hollow & casts a shadow on the wall and it is impossible to tell the time from a distance even with lights on. Placed a return request for the product on the same day i received it, then learnt about their ridiculous return policy, where they said that i could return only if it is defective or does not match the description in their website. In online shopping, how does one know if the product matches their requirement unless we see it in out home on location?. Get multiple calls from these unreasonable people only to tell me the same thing again & again. In a time when almost all shopping happens online, where people take back clothes without asking questions, find this extremely regressive. Earlier I have had Urban Ladder replace my furniture multiple time without so much so as a question. Coming to the order[protected], it shows as delivered on the 1st Mar, but have not received it till now. Reason they give is that they are following up with the courier delivery DTDC for the Proof of Delivery & that this product was delivered directly from the supplier and asking me to wait for 3-5 more days.
            Goodbye Pepperfry, will not be back like ever & congrats, you lose a customer.

            Not allowing to change the order item before it is shipped is unethical behavior by such a brand is Indian Consumer Court still sleeping?

              Pepperfry has started cheating people openly. Recently we purchased a blackout curtain (Theatre darkness was a key requirement), after seeking assistance from pepperfry customer care. We had clearly told them our requirement and asked them to advice us on the kind of description we should be looking for, while on our search for the right product. Accordindly, we invested in a lushomes blackout door curtain (Set of 2) on 17th feb 2017. The order number was[protected]. When we received the item on 27th feb 2017, we noticed that there was no blackout lining at the back of the curtain and hence, the effect was nothing different from a normal curtain i. E. Light was passing through. When we complained, we were told that its not 100% blackout but normal blackout (!!!???). My question here is, how is that a blackout when there is no lining at the back of the curtain!?! It is a single sheet, ordinary curtain, though the online description clearly stated otherwise. Even after repeated complaints within the initial 7 days post delivery, customer care said nothing can be done. We felt extremely cheated and hence, wanted to warn all our friends and fellow buyers about these cheats. Breach of trust will ruin your business for sure and we will share this story across our personal and professional network, so that people think million times before ordering!! Pepperfry senior management - we hope you learn to do ethical business.

                I was prompted by Peppery that carpenter will come for three days after the delivery and the carpenter did not turn up. I chatted over the chat service three times and they kept promising that carpenter would come. I filed for a return on the website with the photo of the the unopened box and then carpenter calls when I am not available. I said I want to return the unopened box. Then the agent from Pepperfy calls and Pepperfry says they wont take back. He keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. Pepperfy site itself does not give any option for feedback that is visible to other customers. Beware of such sites.

                  Its been barely 15-20 minutes, I placed a order with pepperfry.com and I want to cancel the order. Pepperfry customer care says they don't have cancellation policy. The item it not even shipped.

                  Spoke to customer care and they are blatantly denying to cancel the order. This is arrogance at its best. Anti-competitive, anti-consumer in my opinion. There's not one other e-comm site that has this arrogant policy.

                    Pepperfry Cheaters,

                    I have ordered a Bergamo Four Seat Dining Set in pepperfry site on 16th of February and paid the total amount close to 35000/- using my credit card. After my order I have been checking/tracking my order status on a daily basis and it kept saying that my item is in Transit, it reached Mumbai warehouse, then it reached Chennai blah blah blah...I even had an online chat with someone to know exactly when I can expect my order and he confirmed me a couple of days back saying I would be receiving it on 1st of March. But today when I checked on the status through chat I was told that the item is damaged so I need to accept their Refund and so they can go ahead and raise a request which I did not want to do. When I asked them why should I take a refund? instead why not send me a new item which is not damaged, they said the item is not available in the warehouse. But I still see the item online.
                    With all agony and anger I asked them for the Mangers number so I can have a chat with him but they said I will be receiving a call from the manager soon. I don't know if this is what is happening to all the orders. I wonder what if they take 50000 from 100 people and cancel their orders after all the waiting period of 15 to 20 days. So, who is gonna pay the interest for all that money. This is clearly an online fraud and I not only need my money back but with an interest amount for the same. And I request people not to buy any of their products online. This could happen to you as well.
                    Moreover My Daughter was so eager to receive the dining table and she had been asking me all this while when we will be receiving the table. Now I don't have an answer for that. This is so ridiculous and I definitely deserve a better reply from Pepperfry.

                      I had placed an order for 4 Capri Plastic Chairs manufactured under the brand name CELLO and paid the total price by net banking from my account in Kotak Mahindra Bank, South Extension Part 2 Branch on 25th January. The order No. is[protected].
                      I was assured through email that the product will be delivered between 20th and 23rd February. When the product was not delivered on due date, I contacted customer care service on more than one occasions that the product has been dispatched. Since, I did not receive the product till 27th Feb, but no response. i have again sent an email today against non delivery of the product.

                        On 5th Feb 2017, i have purchased Wall unit online from Pepperfry with Assembly request with paying additional amount, They committed me that product will get delivered before 12th feb.but they delivered product on 15th feb i am still waiting for carpenter to come and assemble the product.
                        upset with their services, every time when i call to Customer service, they tell us within 24 hours your query will get resolve, i am continuously calling them since 16th feb, still no response from Pepperfry.

                          I have ordered a sofa from pepperfry on 12jan17 and got confirmation of delivery on 18feb17 due to out station delivery. however it is not provided with cash on delivery option so i had paid for it online only.on 18feb night when i called them regarding delivery, they said your delivery date has shifted to 22feb when i asked them why don't you inform me the same, they said we do not inform regarding shifting of date, we will deliver your product on 22feb17.again i called on 22feb17 regarding my product delivery they said it has already out for delivery from ware house on 21feb17 and it will reach to your destination by 2-3 days. i know he lied to me from the way he spoken.on the next day on 23feb17 i called them again around 1300hrs for confirmation, that day some another representative had told me your product is still with us in our ware house and will let it out within 1-2 days from our ware house, then i told him about my last conversation and explained him how his colleague has lied to me. and asked the reason for the same, then he disconnected my call.on the very next minute i called them again, this time i connected up with another representative, i requested him to tell the name of that representative with whom i have spoken last, he said his name is suresh then i asked to please forward my call to suresh, he said he is busy now with some another call.then i requested him to forward my call to your supervisor or to the person who is dealing with all this issues.then he forwarded my call to someone without telling me his name and designation. and my call got connected with some another person that person did the same he didn't told me his name and designation and hangedup me online for a long time by saying we are solving your issue, after few minutes he again came to me and said we have spoken to our ware house supervisor, will release your product by tomorrow i.e, on 24feb17 and we will give you a text message regarding delivery confirmation and details of delivery boy on same date.but on 24feb17 i didn't get any kind of message from pepperfry.com . on 25feb17 i called then again and this time they said it will take atleast 2-3 days to get out from ware house.and also their representative by name celina fernandes speaks in very insulting way with those who are not proper in English my request is with consumer court is to take a necessary action on it, and make an effort to get my money refund from pepperfry.com

                            Pepperfry has the most customer unfriendly model. This is for Order Number[protected]. I received a product on Feb 22nd 2017. At first glance I knew that the product is not what I wanted and the picture shown online was not quite correct. The product is still unopened, still in the box and only the top was opened before I realized that this was not what I wanted.
                            Pepperfry will not take returns unless the product is damaged...
                            I can understand if they charge me for extra overheads of delivery, OR they give credits to my account on Pepperfry for use only at their store.
                            But I do not understand why a product bought online should be forced on a person if it is clearly not what the customer wanted.
                            No online store supports such a policy and is a very poor business model.

                              I had ordered a brand NEW ceiling fan. The delivered product is old and was full of dust and most importantly the product does not have original packing of the brand I ordered which shows that the original packing has been tampered with and the original product has been replaced with a used or an old one. Inspite of this, my return request has not been processed. When I called pepperfry customer care, they are saying that this is how pepperfry delivers and original packing does not matter to them. A fake product has been delivered to me and moreover I am being denied the return of it even when the return was requested within the 7 days.
                              This is really a very bad experience of purchasing a product on Pepperfry for the very first time. Return of a product especially the one which is not in original packing and is in shabby condition should have been the easiet one to consider

                                I had ordered a executive office chair and the back rest cloth came out after sitting on it literally 5 times. when I call them up they say "Sorry sir we cant refund you the money after 7 days" So what they mean to say is that the shelf life of the chair is only 7 days and its perfectly fine for a chair to break after that. Very disappointing. as a consumer we are taking a huge risk by ordering something like a furniture online and when something like this happens where it is obviously a "manufacturing defect" and we dont get the required support. it puts a question on the reliability of the entire sector. It seems like they are running one big scam here.

                                  I had sent query regarding my 10% cashback on coupon code XMAS. feedback that I got on call was I cannot get cashback on EMI. Its very disappointing. They had sent this mail which clearly states about cash back will be refunded to your alternate account in case of EMI.

                                  Following was mail

                                    Unfortunately, I have ordered a cupboard from pepperfry. Every called them for the order status they directed me to some hometown and had no information. The only thing pepperfry knowns to take money from and doesn’t help you in anyway. Their customer care has no information except they have took your money.
                                    I recommend everyone out there no to purchase a single thing from peperfry.

                                      Hi have ordered House This Orange Cotton Solid Double Bed Sheet (with Pillow Covers) - Set of 3 with Order No.[protected] for 1000rs . after I received the item I found its a low quality even edges are not stitched properly. I raised a request for return. he rejected my request by telling its not damaged. how people will continue to purchase with low quality is a not a considerable point to return the item. really disappointed.

                                        I deal with pepperfry first time and my experience is worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...worst...... I purchased 3 products from Pepperfry which costs me around 50k to 60k. 1st product i ordered Home Sparkle Yellow Engineered Wood Carved Wall Shelves Set of 5. 2nd product Oscar 3 seater Sofa. 3rd 1 seater oscar sofa 2 in quantity.
                                        For 1st product... company displays this product in very bright yellow colour and when we received this product it is dark yellow with pathetic colour. We complained to customer care they asked for real pics. We sent the real pics which clearly shows that there is hell lot of colour diffrence in between the pictures displayed on website and actual. Customer care representative Named PRIYA was so mannerless. She dont know even how to talk to customers. She was not ready to even listen our single word. She said its the same colour and if you dont understand this its your fault not companies fault. I strongly recommend that she is very very bad and worst in doing customer service. Instead of helping, she is insulting and misbehaving with customers.
                                        2nd and 3rd product:- When we purchased these sofas.. we called to customer care and confirm with SHARON (customer care representative) that as per the display cushions are included in the sofas or not, she said "yes" cushions are included. Now when we expecting our products tommorrow, we again called to customer care in order to confirm once again for cushions. Customer representative SURESH initially said that cushions are not included. We said that Sharon confimed us that cushions are included, how can you change the statements again n again. SURESH put us on hold and later he said that let product arrive at your place n if you dont receive the cushions the you can escalate the case so that you can get cushions i[censored]ndelievered. We said "ok" we are recording this statement whatever SURESH said that time. the time SURESH heard that call has been recorded, he suddenly changed his statement and said that he never said that we will recieve cushions after escalating or doing anything. He was scared. Nobody in Pepperfry is ready to support and help in these cases.
                                        Customer support team is very bad, mannerless, misbehave everytime.
                                        I strongly recommend not to deal with Pepperfry. I m feeling like being scammed by this company. ALSO when i said to customer care (Priya) that i will complain online for you guys. She replied "do whatever you want to do, our IT Team will take care of it".. See the behaviour of employees.
                                        Can anyone help me in resolving this issues.
