I had placed an order for Dining set & received defective product (Dining Set). I registered return request for product with images clearly showing manufacturing defect, cracks on product.
I received an email, mentioning that unable to reach you, please call back.
I called customer care & i was told to get it repaired locally since it is manufacturing defect verified by Pepperfry basis photographs shared by me & in return Pepperfry will provide cashback of Rs 7000/-.
When i mentioned that it can not be repaired locally, i was told that a call back will be arranged for providing solution.
I received a call back and i have been informed that since the complaint has been registered post 10 days of receipt of material instead of 7 days, Pepperfry is not responsible for any manufacturing defects.
Upon challenging that i have received different communication earlier, they apologized for wrong communication.
Pepperfry customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
