My son has ordered the above chair for me for a special occasion to be delivered on 19.08.2016. You are failed to deliver the product even after persistent complaints. Lost lot of money on telephone calls. A stubborn company gives false promises. All are assuring blatant false promises but nothing happens. Most unfortunate fact is we are unable to cancel the order, caught in your cruel clutches. I am afraid i may have to move legally for a solution to get rid of from agony faced by us.

    My product for order no[protected]was to be delivered by one GAURAV moblie no [protected] today 27 Aug. He has behaved in a highly irresponsible manner bringing bad name to Pepperfry. Although he informed in the morning that he would deliver the product by 3pm today, he did not turn up till 3:30 pm. He did not even care to inform that he will not be able to reach on time. When I called him he had an excuse that his vehicle has broken down near Saket. Had his vehicle broken down he should have been near my place around that time from where I could have picked up the article.
    I have waited at home for the delivery and in the process lost an entire day due to his irresponsible behavior and I am afraid Pepperfry will be losing customer due to such persons. I found his approach to be highly unprofessional and lacking in commitment. Action as deemed for be taken against this person.

      Hi Team, I had ordered a 2 seater sofa and got it delivered on 31st of july. I got a call from the carpenter after 1days for the assembly request. I had informed the carpenter that there is a small gap in the sofa. He told me that he will update it to pepperfry and he said ill get a call. since i haven't got any call i had to raise a new case.
      Now i am getting a response that this product is delivered on 31 and issue was raised on 15th of Aug which is 15 days after delivery and it is not covered under return policy and this product cannot be replaced.
      If that is the case Why Pepperfry sent carpenter to repair. and if it is not covered under 7 days return policy, why did carpenter come and damaged the product.
      I also got a call from the manager and he is saying that complaint raised via carpenter will not be considered as he do not work for pepperfry and for me He is part of pepperfry company .Could you please fix this issue.

        I placed an order last night and realized that, the table was too short and wanted to cancel the order and look for a taller table. But they refused to cancel the order, even while the order was not even processed. They have no ethics and it is sad the way they act.

        They need to learn from Amazon and flipcart, if they need to survive. Well going forward, i will not buy from pepperfry and will ensure, that i will tell others too and ensure they dont buy from this site.

          One of the worst online shopping sites to deal with!Pathetic customer service.
          Please don't buy from Pepperfry. Fraudstersss. They don't accept cancellation even within 2 mins of placing the order. Neither have they considered taking exceptions for genuine customers.
          Delivery time is super delayed. Estimated delivery time appears after placing the order. I will highly recommend people not to buy from this worst fraud online shopping website called "Pepperfry". They only believe in ruining customers experience, time and money.
          They are so rigid and blunt about their so called policies.Being such so called huge brand they can sometime make an exception

            Placed an order for sutlej six seater solid wood dining set finish by @home from Pepperfry. com paid Rs 15645 by debit card on 3Aug 16.Item order no. is[protected].Item Received on 12th Aug 16 Assembler came on 13th Aug 16.He found item defective.I Complained on 13th aug 16.They messged me so many times that they will contact me within 24 hours but no one contacted me .I have complained online as well as Telephonically but all the time i get only assurances and Till now no action.I have sent photographs of the defective parts also.It seems they don't want to refund my money as they have dumped a defective item .I wanted a Dining table for a function but now have no money to purchase. Please matterlise the return and refund of money

              Dear sir,

              Its highly frustrating that my product was not delivered till now and i was not informed too. Is this pepperfry or customerfry? I really don't understand.
              Poor service from such a big dealer. I didn't expect this from them. I was not even called and informed about the delay/breakdown of delivery vehicle. Are they treating me as a customer because for everything i have to call them and get updated. Shame on them!

              I have ordered furniture from pepperfry. After making payment they are saying to deliver it in 20-25 days. And also very bad return policies and customer support.
              You can not cancle the item after making the payment.

                Please see the images of shelf before reading.

                Few observations about pepperfry:
                1) very low standard product.
                2) unprofessional approach & pathetic customer support.
                3) no sense of responsibility.
                4) for pepperfry, customers are fools.

                My experience:-
                2 months ago i bought a bookshelf from pepperfry.
                After a few days it started catching fungus.
                I informed the customer care & asked for a solution.
                A person from pepperfry visited my place & polished the shelf.
                In couple of days it again stated catching fungus.
                This time i asked for a long term solution or take the shelf back (through mail).
                Note: i have more furniture in the same room which is doing fine.
                The customer service executive "saral", was unable to solve the issues. her only answer was "wipe it with a dry cloth".
                I asked her for a long term solution, which she failed to provide.
                The issue is still pending.
                The bookshelf has completely caught fungus.
                I have sent about 8 mails & the only response i got was "wipe it with a dry cloth".
                The executive also assured that they will call me. i gave them my mobile number & also an alternate number.
                I never received a call from pepperfry.
                I asked them to give me a number so i can call.
                The number which i got from executive was never attended by anybody. no one ever received that phone.
                When i mailed about this, the only response i got was:-

                "i tried calling you on the registered phone number which is [protected] this number is unreachable also tried calling on [protected] even this number is unreachable."

                According to them both of my mobile phones were switched off for continuous 15 days.
                My phone is never switched off.

                Such a lousy customer support from pepperfry. you guys can't even face your customers. rather you are lying so confidently.
                The behaviour of customer care is forcing me to take harsh steps against pepperfry.
                I want my issue resolved.

                  This is to bring to your kind notice that i had purchased sgc led silver flush mounted led ceiling lamp sku: de1292305-s-pm12333 qty: 1
                  From your website pepperfry.com for a consid~ration of rs 6239 paid through sbi credit card of my father.
                  That at the time of booking the following were the terms and conditions
                  In case of any concerns, please send us photographs of the items to ascertain the reason for return which can be initiated from "my account" section. Once the return is accepted for refund, you would be contacted by our customer care team for product collection. You will need to retain the item with all its seals and trappings (Boxes, bags, tags, stickers etc.) intact along with the original invoice. You can retain a copy of the invoice for reference and future correspondence. For any further clarifications do get in touch with our friendly customer care folks.
                  Cancellations: customer can cancel the order placed with the below mentioned charges

                  That, the said goods are suffering from the following defects:-
                  (I) bad quality
                  That in the home page of your website you falsely represented with an ill intention to cheat public at large that easy returns without any conditions apply symbol which means you are deliberately defrauding public at large by mis representation of facts.
                  I have reported the above matter to you several times on chat on your website in respect o[censored]nfair trade practices if any) but despite all my pleadings you have not made good the defect in the goods (Or deficiency in services) which is indeed regrettable and highly unbusiness like.                     Till date i have been a major shopper on multiple retail websites and barring one odd example i didn't face an issue of having to return a product in case i didn't like the product!

                    Please be warned while buying the product the terms says easy 7 days returns but actually they do not accept the return unless the product is damaged / eaten by termites /defective etc

                    They do not have a no questions asked 7 days return policy like amazon, snapdeal, flipkart etc wherein if you realize the product does not match your expectation or you don't like the product after physically opening it then you cannot return the product! They will just not accept it!

                    Customer care is pathetic - you will have to wait for like 5-6 mins and then later the customer support executive will challenge you - did you read this and that etc etc? Didn't read it? Well too bad, kind off attitude!! They would treat you right at the beginning as if you are some novice to technology or how things operate and it's "your idioticity" to have not gone through the layers of t&c's for a product like a baby blanket!! They expect you to have read the fine print in some part of their website. Purely crooks at work!

                    All sites have a 7 days easy returns policy? I have every right to return a product if i don't like it and have not even undone the packaging beyond the plastic envolope! But pepperfry doesn't think so! I suggest you are better off buying the same product (If available) from other sites than from pepperfry!

                    In all trickery in business, topped with arrogance of so called customer care personnel would not help them last in the business too long! Never again will i have anything to do with them and hence send out a warning mailer at my office and friend circle as well. It's not only about money but about the audacity of a company to fool it's customer's on the pretext of the terms & conditions which can be construed to their own whims and fancies.

                    Another stunning revelation should be the number off complaints by umpteen no. Of customers across consumer forums who have met similar fate.in all pepperfry if it matters to you... Please re-look in the direction you are headed cause you are not dealing with fools!

                      Order id[protected]. Ordered a bench with storage. Once it reached i realized it's not even sturdy enough for one person to sit. Plus its a little wobbly. Emailed twice, called but they always say it's a separate team and someone wl call but no call received. I don't want the product and want it to be picked up asap. It's furniture. It obviously needs to be picked up as it occupies space!

                        I bought wardrobe, its in warranty period and every now and then there is fungus inside wardrobe after complaining carpenter came and resolved the issue but the very next day again fungus ozzed out, really m tired of wiping fungus and as m pregnant i feel suffocated due to allergy of this fungus now they are telling they cannot send carpenter every now and then and will not return the product .

                          Absolutely pathetic service from Pepperfry and Home Town in understanding customers situation and concern and response to requests on human ground. Multiple requests were made since morning today and each person who has handled the call only shows off the soft communication and not one request was fulfilled after explaining the situation that there is a pregnant lady and assembly people turning up when I am not home is not even listened. The home town rep Sanjivini hung up the phone on customer. The assemble people's number provided does not respond even after 20 calls made to him, not one call is lifted or at least the courtesy to give a response to the call. Amny from pepperfry responds in a high pitch thinking he is the boss of pepperfry and he is the only person working on the entire floor and asks customer why are you calling so many times and does not give the phone to a manager when the call is recorded and customer requested for the same. This is not expected from Pepperfry or Home town for the brand image they carry. I think I have made a wrong choice to choose pepperfry.

                          This is absolutely pathetic that even after multiple requests you have showed a deff ear on a customers request. This is not expected from a brand as home town but now I see lot of complaints on hometown in consumer broad for service defect on your part. The number provided to me [protected] was not even responded at least once since morning even after 20 calls made. A human would at least respond to at least 1 call and at least provide some information. I have a situation where I have a pregnant lady at home who cannot carry any article as she is in 7 th month and my attention is required as one bed is required to be shifted so that the new product bought from pepperfry can be assembled. Now I have made multiple requests since morning and one single request for at least heard which is pathetic. At least a human understands and if an SLA is in place, based on customers request will at least raise the priority. Nothing of this sort has happened. Had this been the case of any VIP or a minister you would directly ensure everything is fulfilled within minutes but the same does not happen for a common man. Let me put the same on the consumer board as you do not deserve the brand image you have and you are just one other big company that plays around with customers and their time.

                          I will have to now check the product and after reviewing 414 complaints on pepperfry and around 500 complaints on hometown.

                            Ordered 3 laundry baskets based on the picture shown and received 3 tiny bins instead of what i thought i wud get.
                            I have requested a exchange and they are refusing even after i offered to pay return costs.

                              I bought a sofa from pepperfry in December 2015. I was out of station so started using it only in Feb. In just 3 months o[censored]se all springs and belts are broken. Their carpenter himself told that it is a very bad product. It is under 1 year warranty, but these cheaters are not even responding to mails. They are cheating customers openly in daylights.

                                I recently brought a. Mattress however I didn't like the quality of the product as.well I had size issue with. The mattress, Pepperfry team is so disrespectful and unprofessional, nobody is ready to.exchange the product neither ready to give me refund one of the worst online shopping I.came across, I ordered the bed as well no the bed is defective, the are putting blame we are not returning mattress hence you have raised the issue so we are not going to take.any action of the other case as well. Now nobody is contacting and cooperating, very bad experience with Pepperfry

                                  Order no.[protected], ordered bulk of value 1.25 lacs. The quality of the furniture is substandard, it looks good initially but soon the wood starts showing issues. I bought two expensive furniture pieces in pure wood from them and in both the units the doors have expanded and are not closing. On complaining a carpenter was sent but he also could not resolve the issue. Now both the pieces are lying with me and i have no way out to deal with them.
                                  The shoe rack drawer is jammed and not opening and sideboards door never close. These both pieces look so awful in my house because of the functional issues.

                                    Order no[protected], i was initially informed that the damaged order shall be picked back in 2-3 days. However, everyday i am being told that it shall be picked up in 1-2 days. However, the same has not been picked up even after 7 days. I am not receiving any proper information. There is no escalation. Really feel sorry about the service being given by the company to their customer who trust on the company and make upfront payment. Whenever i speak to the customer care, they tell us not to worry. Please tell me, why should i not worry, my amount of approx. Rs.24000/- is blocked, the product is lying unused and occupying the vacant space of our room which is looking very bad and everyday, i am following up and requesting to take back the damaged order. Request you to please arrange to pick the damaged order by today itself and refund my money, if not please provide the escalation so that i can speak to them.

                                      I have ordered kawachi foldable mild steel power dry clothes dryer

                                      From pepper fry. The parts were broken when it was delivered. Due to some of reasons we were not able open the item with in 7 days since i was out of home and when i get chance to open the item the parts were broken.

                                      And the website is also not updated as it is delivered. We are not having any option to return. When we contacted the customer care and they were saying return period ended and cant repair the item or return the item.

                                      Along with with this we have order some items that are really duplicate products and quality wise very poor

                                        I booked (Order No[protected] two door wardrobe (12 months warranty) in June and after 1 month lots of white patches and white powder started coming on the wardrobe and now its infected by Powderpost Beetles.

                                        I called them 3-4 times and no positive response from them.

                                        I think this is worst support and service from Pepperfry.

                                        Some serious action should be takes against them and now i'm going to spread this on all social network.
