On 01-05-16 while placing order for 2+2=4 wall lights at Rs.5889 and making payment through can ara bank Dr card I have been received intimation that the process cold not be Copleted hence the bank is not responding . But after that I have been intimated by the bank that the above said amount has already been debited from my account on account of the said purchase.Kindly elucidate.

Hi

I was asked to write feedback for furniture purchased through pepper fry and was told that i will be getting gifts for the same.

needful is done from my end,
however despite repeated follow ups, calls and reminders, Gift is still not delivered,

Pathetic feeling of being let down by huge brand like Pepperfry.

    I ordered a "Seavy Neptune Bf 75 Cm Hood Chimney" from Pepperfry costing Rs.13999/-. They delivered it on time. But the guys who were supposed to install came to my place and said, they cannot install the product. Now, I have only one choice and that is to return it. When I called Pepperfry, they conveniently washed their hands away saying that the product can be returned only if it was damaged. Now, I being honest - I am telling them that the product is useless because of lack of their specifications, Pepperfry is not ready to listen. Don't know how to take this forward. I am absolutely clueless, with a good chimney sitting idle at my place in a perfectly packed (as it was received) condition.

      I have ordered 2 pieces of furniture and very bad quality and size. I have immediately contacted them with in 30days, then they asked me to send images by emaial. I sent them and did not hear from them. Then again we contacted, they said the images must be sent to a particular email not to peppefry email. By the time i sent it to them, they refused to accept the return becasue 30day time is over.
      These people are cheats. I have two pieces of junk furniture of no use but to throw it out. I have lost rsnearly15000/-

      They don't commit to their delivery dates & gives lame excuses saying the delay is at warehouse dealer / delivery person etc.
      They neither care nor follow up to meet the delivery target.
      We need to follow up with them contacting through customer care toll free no which is not in use.

        I have ordered some products through pepper fry on 30th march bearing order#[protected]. Unfortunately out of the 4 products ordered 2 have reached me and the other 2 are missing. I have been frantically calling the number[protected] many a times and every time they are asking for a 48 hour time from me to respond. The product looks like has been handed over to gati but they don't have any clue where the products are. They cannot even assure me a timeline by when the product is going to reach me. I have requested for an immediate refund of my paid amount if pepperfry cannot deliver the product but they are unable to do that as well. This level of customer service is not only unwarranted but disgraceful. This is a disgrace to the entire ecommerce industry as well as customers like me who shop a lot through the internet will start losing faith on products through pepperfry in particular.

            Had ordered a couple of drawers from pepper fry on the basis of feedback from one of my colleague. First upheaval which would be required would be of the tracking system. If the company isnt confident of delivering a product in 2 weeks time, the tracking system should not reflect the same. The ordered product a delivery time of a good 2 weeks after which there was no notification from the company's side on the whereabouts of the product. The customer service seems to be equipped only with looking at the tracking system and updating customers. Phone calls are never answered in the first go and the staff is rude with no convincing solutions. I had to follow up with the company and not vice versa for my products. All in all, except for the carpenter work, ordering from pepper fry has left a real bad taste in my mouth and this is the last one ever from an online furniture store. My orders were delivered with a delay of almost 10 days and that too, i believe, because i pushed them to by daily calls, and getting in touch with them over chats

            Very bad service, is it require more than 25 days to deliver any material, I am not convinced, will never recoment anybody to purchase anything from Pepperfry.

              I have order fan on 29th march and showing 15th april delivery after 1st april they increase delivery to 16th april. Once i called them on 16th april to cancel order they said wait for 1 day i waited but it didn't come.. Promising on every call but not getting item nor refund.

                I have not received the product while the order[protected] status on the website says delivered. I never got any call from the delivery team to request a convenient time for delivery. Based on the sms information i received, i initiated delivery time with delivery person mr. Kiran. While he agreed to deliver on april 15, 2016 between 12 pm to 3 pm, he never came. Then in the evening, after i waited entire day from 12 pm for the delivery team, mr. Kiran said he will deliver on saturday, april 16, 2016 between 5 pm and 5:30 pm. When i called him at 7:30 pm to follow up, his phone is switched off. The number still stands as switched off even on april 17, 2016. Please coordinate delivery on a priority basis for sunday, april 17, 2016. Thank you and looking forward to your confirmation that item will be delivered on sunday, april 17th.

                  It's most disappointed and horrible experience ever in my life to associate
                  with Pepperfry. I have
                  purchased poster bed from pune studio by 5th February 2016.

                  First bad thing was product not delivered properly to my home. One box was
                  missing. So to make it arrange Pepperfry took in total almost two and half months.
                  Here I was testing my patience. Once i receive replaced bed it got
                  installed not on same day but next day. still i haven't complained
                  seriously.

                  But today on 15th April, when i started to use that bed, on very first day it literally
                  got broke away. It was most horrible and disgusting experience of my life.
                  I was very much lucky not to have any physical injury with this incidence. I am very much frustrating with pepperfry.com

                    I have purchased 3 items from Pepperfry.com till now –

                    • Order No.[protected] Venus Study Table by HomeTown (Very Late delivery)
                    • Order No.[protected] Madelyn Sofa Cum Bed in Brown Colour by Auspicious (Still not delivered )
                    • Order No. 30214034 Dreamline Plus Bonell Six Inches Queen-Size Mattress by HomeTown (Not yet shipped)

                    I am forced to come to consumer forum because of problem faced in all the 3 items.
                    My first order was delivered very late from the time mentioned by Pepperfry team. I followed up with the team like crazy but they were putting all on vendor.
                    If they are doing business with vendors, isn’t the team responsible for delay and shouldn’t expect some accountability from them.

                    My 2nd order[protected] was supposed to be delivered maximum by 6th April – again no updates from the team that it will be delayed or something. As per my previous experience, I tried to follow up with team much in advance but unfruitful again.
                    On 20th March I recived a mail from pepper fry team that my product is already in Bangalore warehouse and will be shipped by road transfer. I got hopeful and tried to follow up – again no result.
                    Today is 12th April and still I have not received the product.
                    We as buyer makes some estimate and then order the things, like this sofa cum bed was ordered because I was expecting some guests at home. Now my money was also blocked and my purpose was also not solved.

                    Biggest disappointed came from consumer helpdesk team where without even understanding the customer question, they will put on long hold and come back with some absurd answers.

                    To continue with my ordeal, I placed Order No. 30214034 in midnight. I had some furniture upgrade point which was not highlighted while I was placing the order. So order got processed without it.

                    I couldn’t contact customer care that time as it was not a serviceable time. I understand that – so when I call them next day, they denied canceling my order. I said OK at least adjust my upgraded point in this order, they said this is also not possible.

                    If I need to use my points I again need to place an order of more than 10 k.

                    Now who is responsible for all this ordeal of mine? Hence I am requesting compensation against my troubles I faced.

                      I had place an order for an office chair on pepper fry on 11th march. It showed the delivery day as 7th april. I called and asked them why do you need a month to deliver a chair which i can buy off the shelf in a furniture store locally. They said that the seller has to ship to them and they'll do a quality check, then send it to bangalore and send to my residence. 7th april is worst case scenario, usually its much earlier.

                      12th april. Haven't got it yet. In between i got 2 calls from them, telling me about the status of shipment and how it'll be delivered earlier. First it was 28th march, then 4th april and now its more than 1 month.

                      1 month to deliver a chair which is ready to use. No manufacturing needed.

                        I am khader hussain from bathinda, punjab.
                        I have placed an order #[protected] on 02.03.2015 amounting to rs. 7419 / -. I was assured delivery of the product between 22.03.2016- 28.03.2016. I wanted an early delivery was even to pay more, but the facility wasn't available. I understood the company policy and decided to wait till the assured date. On 08.03.2016, i was once again informed that the order is in process and would be delivered by the assured date. But on 09.03.2016 i got a e-mail from pepper fry only to informed me that

                        We regret to inform you about the delay in delivery of the queen size double bed by furniture kraft you ordered with us.


                        We at pepperfry strive to provide the best to our customers. Unfortunately, your product didn’t go through our quality check parameters for the product delivered by our vendor. Hence we are trying our best to minimize the delay as much as possible. However, we are compelled to inform you that there might be a delay of approx 7 days.


                        Again, we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and look forward to fulfilling your future orders in timely manner.


                        Initially i got annoyed but i got the point that some times its a part and parcel of orders and decided to wait for another week. But until 18.03.2016, i didn't get any update regarding the order. Then i contacted the customer care and after hanging on line for 8minutes at last my call was processed a customer care executive but only to informed me that the even if the order got delayed a week it would have been dispatched by now. But it hadn't. He gave me sign that the order may be delayed another 2-3 weeks. This time i was even more annoyed to hear that. But i got over it, cancelled the order i again ordered #[protected] for a new product which costed me rs. 8598 including taxes. This time i ordered a product with express delivery facility thinking that at least now i would have the product delivered fast.


                        The product was shipped as promised. But it took so much time to reach gurgaon that even two products ordered at mebelkart.com would have been delivered. But i once again said to myself that there may have been some limitations in delivering hence, i waited... Waited... Waited... It took 4 days to reach bathinda from gurgaon which is a 250 km distance even a motorcycle rider would reach there in 8 hours maximum but thanks to pepperfry it took only 04 days. Still i waited... Waited... Finally on 04.11.2016 i got the product delivered. I was happy the delivery guy placed the product on ground floor even though i clearly mentioned that i live on ii floor. I my self took the product to ii floor. Delivery guys even didn't try to help me. Ok no issues but once i opened the product i really got frustrated. Got the product in three boxes on which it was written

                        I got the product delivered wrong. Thanks to the who dispatched the product and the plaza enterprise, mumbai which didn't even care to check the product before delivery. Its because of those irresponsible that i have to bear the consequence. I want ask you one thing do you even care for your customers or just take them for granted. Do you think no body would spare their time to act against you?


                        If that's the case then better be careful there are some people who are more idiomatic than the ones who dispatched the product. Such irresponsible behavior should not be spared. Not that it got immediately dispatched. That stupid plaza enterprise had all the time in the world. Why didn't it even care to check the product it was clearly written on it all they had to do was to do a just check. Now again i had to call the customer care executive wait for another 10 min on the line hanging on the line and show all my frustration to a executive, who didn't have anything to do with this matter. Kindly take some action on this company

                          We had ordered 3 door wardrobe on 27.03.2016vide order no[protected], at the time of purchase we were suppose to get the same on 6.04.2016, but as the date passed we called them & got the reply that the product couldn't not pass their quality check process so they returned the same to vendor.After that were told to receive the product on 10.04.2016, but calling them i got the reply that they missed the delivery so will get the same on 11.04.2016 by any how.

                          Again on 11.04.2016 i called them, at 11.00 am to know about the status of delivery upon which i got the reply that they still don't have exact status of delivery so again we will have to wait for next 24- 48 hours.

                          Thus we are still waiting for the product, after getting such service now i have doubt on their quality too :(

                            I had placed an order with pepperfry for a faber chimney on 27th march 2016. Order number[protected]. They said they would deliver the product between 2-5th April. When i called customer care on 6th they said it will be reached by 7th April, when I called 7th evening they have disconnected my phone twice. Is there any number or contact email form where i will get any help.

                                I had placed an order with pepperfry for a spice rack on 21st march 2016. Order number[protected]. They said they would deliver the product within 7 days. Even after waiting for 2 weeks they didn't deliver the product. Up on contacting their customer care they told me their courier service tried to deliver the product on 29th march but no one was home. This is a lie as me and my family were home all day that day. I am clueless on why they didn't try to deliver the product the next day nor did the "courier company" contact me on my phone. It has been more than 2 weeks and no product. I'm leaving india next week so i would have no use of the product after that. They said they would deliver the product in 7 days. No product no refund.Fraudulent company.

                                  The service of this people are worst, I had ordered a chimney on 14/3/16 and now its 5/4/16 its almost 23 days, but till now no update from there side, its a prepaid product as i have already paid for the product, And if i'm calling them, then also not any satisfactory reply from there side, i have mailed also to the team of pepperfry regarding this issue but no use, As i think the team of pepperfry are making full, So please people do not buy anything from this site, as there are many other e-retail site.

                                    Ordered 2 products, 1 took 2 weeks and the other 1 month. After waiting for so long i got a defective product. When i wanted to return the product they sent carpenter to repair. they should have checked the quality before sending the product instead of sending carpenter for repair. After multiple phone calls finally they picked the product. Still waiting for refund. product was ordered on 13th feb, asked for refund on 11th march, refund was initiated on 17th march but i still dint get refund. Everytime i call cust service they have no idea why the delivery was delayed and no why the refund is taking so long.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I bought Anantaran Artistic 4 Inch Clock Dia Aluminium Table Clock on March-11-2016. The clock stopped working on 25th or 26th March-2016. I contacted Pepperfry and got call from its representative. I have send the recent pictures as per the telephonic conversation.

                                      Today i.e. on[protected] I received a message that the return is not possible and it would have only be possible withing a week. This clock did not work for even 10 days. There was nowhere mentioned in the website that I would have to return within seven (7) days.

                                      This pepperfry is fraud and cheating to the customers by selling substandard items and even not letting return the items.

                                        I had placed an order for a single set of presto red poly cotton 47x59 inch eyelet window curtain which was part of order no.[protected]. The product delivered matched its specifications shown on the website. However, it did not fit in my window size. Hence i asked them for return. I received a reply saying that the item can neither be exchanged nor be returned back since it is against their policies.
                                        After this when i went to order a second set of the same curtain to fill in the size of my window, i have no option of buying a single set. But here was only one option of buying a set of 2. When i contacted their customer care, they are saying we cannot provide you one set since the options are not available with the vendor.
                                        Very dissatifying. They are only concerned about their policies & their vendors whereas customer's loss is of no value to them.
                                        I would like my issue to be resolved as the item is of no use for me. I want it exchanged or atleast provide me a one another piece of the item to fit in the size of my window. Kindly address my issue.
