This is with utter frustration that i am writing this that my first experience with pepperfry has been pathetic. Even after waiting patiently for multiple times when I was promised that a new airway bill number will be shared it has not been done so.The customer service center is so hopeless that they do not allow to speak to a senior person. I have placed the order on 21st Dec 15 and was issued a wrong airway bill number. To my astonishment the product is being shown as delivered on 31st Dec 15..although the customer service center have been confirming that the product is not delivered and i should be ignoring the status. The complaint number 01105250 has been lodged for so many days but the pathetic response time and no different approach being taken by unprofessional staff has not done anything to resolve except for writing mails to a department which never responds. This is totally unprofessional and I demand the damages. I would be forced to go to consumer court now if i do not get the resolution.

    Pepperfry has been delaying the refund of my money for the return raised for one of their items purchased by me. As per their policy, the refund process should be initiated within 24 hours of the customer raising the request, however it has been 2 weeks now and still they are not initiating the process. Every-time I speak to them through phone, chat and email, they revert by stating that the return has not been initiated by me as there is no such order no. mentioned in their return queue. I further sent them the screenshot of the return raised by me and the photo of the product, even so they still revert stating that I need to follow the steps required to raise the return. I am unable to follow the steps on their website again as the return link has been greyed out, that happens when the return is raised by the customer first time. The screenshot clearly shows that. I have sent those emails but chatted with them and every time after I prove that I have followed the steps, the chat representative commits that they will initiate the return process, however nothing happens and have to prove and make them understand in every chat on daily basis. The reason for returning the product is the fact that it is little different than what is shown on the website, stitching is unclean, shabby looking, difficulty in using it and no finesse at all.

    Some one working under CEO called me on 30th Dec and gave me commitment that within 3 working days the product will be picked and then the refund will be initiated. I have been following up with them since then however they have not picked up the product and my money is still blocked with them.
    Their Pick-up guys called me at 10 PM at night on 2nd Jan asking if they can pick-up the product. When I informed them that if I get another call at late night, I will report to the police (as this was the second time their guys were calling me late night), then it stopped. I informed them that the pick-up has to be done before 12.00 PM afternoon as no-one is available after that, however the guys call me everyday in the evening asking if they can pick-up then.


    I have sent email to the guy who said that he works under the CEO however I do not see any efforts by Pepperfry to return my money even after committing to it.

    Pepperfry should keep their apologies as I don't need rather I need my money back at the earliest.

      They promised delivery at least 5 times and we came back from office. Then nobody turned up. Even after raising a request for delivery after 6 pm they come at 10 and call saying we reached. We are not sure what will happen if there is some issue with the bed..

        Pepperfry provides one year warranty on the product. When called pepperfry for service, they sent a carpenter and who confirmed that the sofa cannot be repaired as it is a single piece sofa. After that there is no response from pepperfry. The say "if the product cannot be repaired they cannot do anything" even if is falling under warranty ? Then what about the warranty they advertise. i have the phone conversation saved . Please help to resolve this complaint.

          @janu, They have 30 days money back guarantee from the day the product gets delivered, and which they constantly advertise about every time when we try to get a resolution. Make use of this.

            Hi From Pepperfry.com, We bought a " Crescent Queen-size Bed with Box Storage in Dark Acasia Finish by Spacewood " for Rs.14, 000 something during last September. It was fixed by their carpenter only. It was good for first month and after days pass, it started making sounds evenif we move during sleep. Actually We had a double bed. We bought this new bed for extra space, for our new born little girl. Whenever the bed makes sound, she wakes and cries. This new bought product is now making sound like 50 years old bed. Every night I heartfuly scold this pepperfry.com . It's not fit for the word, " Happy Furniture to you ". I just want to raise a complaint against this fake product sellers.

                Dear All, Peppefry throws pepper in your eye, and makes you cry They provide a six-month warranty, which they do not honor. They provided substandard sofa which has started giving way in 3 months. When I contacted their customer care, they said they can't do anything about it. If you want take a 50% refund or find a sofa repair shop, and get the repair amount reimbursed

                  I purchased 2 ACS LED bulb from pepperfry with order number[protected] on dated 15/06/[protected]@15:28:38 IST which was under warranty of one year. Out of 2 bulb 1 bulb was blown on 01/12/2015, so i first contact pepperfry team on 02/12/2015 for replacement. After that many time i contacted pepperfry team for same. Every time they reply give some time to solve issue also they demand supporting document. So i submitted on supporting document to them. On 18/12/2015 they agree to refund me but for that i should submit actual purchase product photo, so on next day i submit same. On next day i received mail from pepperfry team in which they mention 30 days crossed so refund not initiate by them. They not give me replacement or refund and every time demanded please give us this supporting document or please give us some time to resolve it. I every time follow them but now i feel they don't want to give me replacement or refund and they only waste my time.                       I had ordered an ESPRIT Golf Aqua Green Umbrella on 26th Nov 2015 to be delivered in Chennai (K.K.Nagar - 600078) . However the same has not been delivered to my address yet. On contacting pepperfry I have been informed that It has been delivered to some Rahul ( In bangalore, who is unknown and not known to me whatsoever).On top of this they want me to check their proof of delivery (which is obviously incorrect ) and verify before they initiate the refund process. Am sick to the core with having to call pepperfry customer care every other day . This is my worst experience is any e-commerce platform till date. Deeply disappointing and stressful. I would just like for the refund process to be initiated and my amount refunded at the earliest possible.

                        Complaint No: 01092137 I ordered a refrigerator with Pepperfry. On 8th Dec 2015, I noticed that it is shown as delivered on the website & the blue dart courier website, but I have not received my product. Being a prepaid order of large amount, i got concerned & called customer care, who raised a complaint & said would get back to me. They called next day and said it will be delivered in the next 3 days. I called in repeatedly asking them to ensure that the delivery was done as specified as I had to travel to the location of delivery specially. However the time frame passed but stil no update or sign of product. I called in again to helpline who assured me to give them 1 more day but no action. When I called in yesterday, they tell me they wil refund the money as they cannot trace the product and i should order it again. The product price has now gone up by 5000 so i asked them to compensate with a coupon but no reply. I also requested for escalation but the team calls and says same thing. I also asked for manager call back but no reply yet. I have been terribly inconvenienced by this as I spent money to travel to delivery location but stil did not received product. Waste of time & money. And this is the second order that the same thing has happened to me. the 1st time i let it be because the value was lesser & after raising complaint with courier, they got it delivered, but this time it has crossed all limits. Hence I would be taking this up legally and taking action against harassment from Pepperfry

                          Delivery team calls says they cannot deliver. I Professionally bring this to the attention of to Pepperfry but their customer service is like the Indian Government system, old, need creation, needs energy, boring, not reliable, unpredictable, hit or miss type of company.. so Beware before ordering from them. This is my current experience. Useless

                            I ordered a Metal Floor Lamp for Rs 850 on 23rd November, 2015. After a lot of hassles and delay I received it on 5th December, 2015. When I try to connect it to the electric plug point, the cable wire burst. A strange kind of fluid is spilled all over the wall from the burst cable. This kind of products being sold without any proper quality check & testing are thrown into the market creates a lot of angst among the customers. Please provide an explanation.

                              I have ordered several furniture item like wardrobes, dressing table, book shelves, sofa-cum-bed sets, rocking chair etc in past two months with specific request on delivery and assembly days, which more or less complied with, by cooperation from operation teams when requested. Other hand, I found in customer service team, several members are not only indecent but also adamant not to understand and appreciate our specific problems. We are two working persons at home and on week days we are at office as my wife passed away few years back. Thus being a unique condition, I expect such online delivery business people to be more sensitive and co-operative. On my recent order of two shoe racks ( Order##[protected], though materials are delivered today after my request to change from Thursday when was scheduled. In spite confirming me on voice mail on[protected] today, following the request made by their delivery person for today's assembly, none has turned up for assembly. When I talked to Customer Service person, he squarely said, it would be done tomorrow, which I refuted and told my problem again. Now I get a sms stating tomorrow at 3 PM carpenter will come. This is the height of disregard of a customer's convenience.Unless the carpenter comes tomorrow around 6.30 pm, I will not return from office and the flat will be locked. Please take it up with their Corporate Management as they are untracable, so as to change their policy to become customer friendly and also train properly their customer service team for sensitivity and sense of co-operation.

                                This is related to the order no order #[protected] . They are telling item is delivered I have not received the item . Complaint is book on 10th Dec 2015 . No action is taken till now. Simply cheating the customers . Kindly cancel my order and refund the amount.They are telling that is not possible now Customer care team is telling it will take 15 days to get the information weather it is delivered, so do you really think it will take 15 days to get the information of delivery from your own team or partner or they are trying to make fool of your customer. They should Learn from Flipkart and amazon.

Hope, some wise person in this Group does take up this matter seriously with Coprorate Management so that they change their policy to customer friendly and train properly thier customer service team with sesitivity and co-operation

                                      I have placed an order No.[protected] for Rs. 1178/- in Pepperfry on 20.11.2015 for ceiling fans. But till date I have not received the materials. However, Now I they tell that the same has been delivered to me and refund not possible. I have not at all received the items. They have also not shown me the proof of delivery. This is one type of cheating by the online shopping companies. So kindly take necessary steps at your end to arrest such mischievous play by the online shopping companies by cheating the customers.

And I can also write anything technical for which you don`t have any knowledge and then if it was the case then you would have sent someone to assemble and fix it at the time of delivery. Its not at all value for money and I want to change it. I have ordered from pepperfry earlier too and never complained but this time I regret its really not worth it.
