I have placed two Orders (No.[protected] and[protected] for Four Door Wardrobe in Wenge Finish by Mintwud. The MRP of the product listed on your site is Rs 15647 over which several discounts have been offered. However, the product I have received is with MRP 12297, much lower than the MRP listed. This implies either I have been supplied an inferior product or the MRP of the product has been hiked to lure the customer by offering falsified discounts. In either case, this deed cummulates to cheating the customer. This is unethical, unfair and illegal practice. As a customer, I demand that the customer gets the product with the listed MRP or the customer be compensated for the difference in MRP. Failing which, I would not hesitate to take legal channel to get the rights of a customer.

    I had ordered two items from pepperfry on 26th & 27th October 2015 for the first time. The order number is[protected] &[protected] & the shipping date of both the orders was 29th October 2015, both are prepaid. When I checked the status of my order on 29th October 2015 from their website, it shows "running late". I contacted the customer service but the answer given was not satisfactory. I don't understand why there is a delay in the shipment of order. Probably now the only thing left with me is to follow up with their customer service department till I receive my order. I am regular shopper from other e-commerce companies like Amazon, Snapdeal but never had such an experience with them, it was really smooth & they deliver on or before time. Didn't expected such thing, totally disappointed with Pepperfry...

    First & Foremost thanks to Consumer Complaints.in & Pepperfry, Order No.[protected] has been shipped & I received it today.

    I got two calls from Pepperfry customer service center today in the afternoon & the cc told me the status of my Order No.[protected], which I had queried yesterday; that it has been shipped from Gurgaon and will reach Mumbai by today evening & I have verified the same from their website. Probably by tomorrow I may receive my order.

    I will post further developments related to this order.
    Status as on 30th October 2015.
    Update for 31st October 2015. My order no:[protected] has reached Maharashtra Distribution centre from Gurgaon. I got an sms from Pepperfry about that & verified the same through their website.

    The cc department made a call to me this afternoon & enquired whether I received my order. Happy to see Pepperfry is taking care of my complaint... :-).

    Will post tomorrow after receiving the actual product.

      I had booked a Sao Luis Study and Laptop table in Pepperfry and had paid INR 12178 as advance. I received the item on 21st October 2015. At the time of delivery, I realized that this was not the same item I had ordered. So, I immediately returned the item. And I mentioned the reason for return in their book. I started following up with Pepperfry from 23rd October regarding a resolution to my issue @[protected] and [protected]@pepperfry.com. However, with deep regret I have to mention that till date no body from the concerned department in Pepperfry has reached out to me. I have also sent E-Mails addressing my concerns. The only reply that I have been getting since 23rd October is – somebody from the concerned department would get back to me within 24 hours. And I have received 01007963 and 01008678 as complain numbers. However, it is more than 7 days from the date of rejection from my end and I have not received any resolution to my issue nor do I see any efforts from their end. I have only received commitments from their end, both in mails and verbally which they have not kept. I am extremely dis-satisfied with their service. I have invested my hard earned money and I feel as if I have been cheated. I still have not received the table and I cannot invest in another table from a different supplier because my money is stuck up with Pepperfry. This adds up to my frustration and harassment. As a responsible citizen, I will leave no stones unturned to spread awareness amongst fellow citizens and my near and dear ones regarding my experience with Pepperfry which is pathetic.

      I have been sending mails to Pepperfry on a daily basis now. in spite of that, Pepperfry has not even bothered to contact me nor even reply to my mails.
      I demand and deserve an immediate refund of my money so that they so not spoil my festive season.

        My order No. is[protected]. I ordered this product on 21/09 and it was delivered on 30/09. This product has some defects and some mismatch in the specifications. I tried to contact pepperfry and the seller, but they even not tried to resolve the issue. Follow up of the customer care and seller was not satisfactory. Finally I decided to return this product on 11/10. The return policy of pepperfry is good but they are not following it. I have contacted them several times but it seems that they do not want to return the money.

        The Peperfry officer contacted me and tired to arrange for a reverse pick-up. The reverse pick-up process was slightly delayed due to improper field workers, but it happened. I got my money back withing specified time.

        I am from Hyderabad, 6 month back I bough ELE-1001 chimney from pepperfry. I called multiple times for installation but no one turned up.Finally I get it done by someone else. From day 1 chimney's suction power is zero. I am continuously calling and mailing these peoples to fix my issue. But so far did not get any response. I bought this product because it looks nice and price was low. But now it is dummy show piece in the kitchen. This is a fraud brand, not giving any support. Warranty mentioned on websites is fake.

        I am from Pune and purchased through Pepperfry on 08 Aug 2015. Model is ELE 1001. I also called many time for installation and no one came for installation so i installed it. For 2-3 months it works well and then it stopped working so lodged a complaint with customer care. They told me that this might be motor issue and dispatched new motor to my address. I received motor but again no service person to change that motor...After multiple follow up in next 4-5 months, one service person attended the complaint and told that it's a touch screen issue not motor issue but I was able to switched on/off the lights using touchscreen. Service person tried to change the motor and short circuit happened and he mentioned that i need to contact customer care and get back new touchscreen from them. He also mentioned that this product is purchased through online portal so I am facing service issue. Again I contacted Elegant Customer care to resolve this issue now they are telling that I have to pay 2000/- for touch panel. I purchased new chimney @7400/-. Only motor is having warranty of 11 yrs.

          I ordered a dining table from pepperfry on 17 th August. The delivery date promised was 27 th August. After seeing the online status I started following up from 22 nd August. The customer service team had no updates or clue on the whereabouts of the table. This story went on and on and on, i asked for escalation. Never got a call back from the manager. About Three weeks ago i get a call saying that the product is damaged and they are refunding the money. I was totally pissed off. Next day I get a call stating my product is ready at the warehouse and has been checked and they are shipping it in a day's time. It will be delivered to my address in a week's time and they promised to refund Rs 2000 for all the trouble. I was surprised by this gesture and was waiting eagerly for my table. After many follow ups, the executive tells me that the product is damaged, they will be refunding my money ASAP. My money was stuck with pepperfry for more than two months, i have spent at least 250-300 Rs on phone bills and wasted so much time. Please take my advice and do not buy from pepperfry. They cheat people, they are the most unprofessional set of people.

            I had Placed multiple orders in www.pepperfry.com on 29/09/2015. The product I ordered through COD i.e., "Wall Stickers Pinks Birds and Flowers" reached in time and was good. But the products I ordered through prepayment using my debit card were not good and some of the products has not been delivered yet. The total number of prepayment ordered products is 7 and is a Total amount of Rs. 5016 except the COD order amounting Rs.355. In all the 7 prepayment products I received only 3 products till today and 2 products were with defects and I made a request for return for those 2 defected products from my end. But I got a full refund of only one product, Because a lady called from their end told me that they can't take products back and they can make a compensation of Rs.300. I said Ok. But after few minutes I called to their customer care center to tell them that I don't want to use the defective products and I want the full amount to be refunded and take your products back. The customer representative said ok, a request has been placed on this issue and some other representative will call me and inform me on this issue. But till date I didn't get any call and without talking to me they refunded only Rs.300 which is half of the amount Rs.568 which I paid. Therefore I called them over the phone again and told them about the issue and they again said that "a request has been taken and somebody else will call me in this issue, but again there was no response from their end. Today when I am checking why the other products were not delivered, I saw that status for one product out of the other undelivered products has been changed to delivered written over there on the site and they already replaced the status of the product from track-item to delivered and there is no option of tracking the product. Therefore I call them again to tell them regarding this issue, But Customer care representative was telling lie through out the conversation that It will be reached to me within 20th of october and it is in Gurgaon right now. I told them that I will not be available on that time as I am going somewhere else in puja. I told him to cancel the orders and refund the whole amount. He started arguing with me and at last he agreed to cancel the order. But When I asked him about the amount to be refunded, he said 25% out of the whole amount will be deducted in case of cancellation. I asked him why it is a mistake from your end and you could not deliver on time, therefore you should refund the full amount. But he again started arguing. Then I told him if you won't refund the full amount I will launch a complaint in consumer forum against you. He said do what you want. I said Ok. I feel very bad and helpless that even without making any mistake from my end, they are saying they will not refund the full amount. Therefore, I want to launch a complaint against www.pepperfry.com and there unknown customer care representative, So that I can get full amount back.
            Please tell me what should I do to get my money back. Please help me, I a very worried and upset regarding this issue.

            The two products of Rs.494 + Rs.214 = Rs.708 which I am using and that they don't need to refund. But out of Rs.5016 - Rs.708 = Rs.4308 they should refund without any deduction. I have no issue if they want take their products which are defective and still I am not using them they are still wrapped and packed with their packaging materials.


            Apart from this I want that the 4 to 5 times that I called them over the phone and made an expense of Rs.50 as they don't provide Toll Free Number and also they have to compensate for the harassment they made me to suffer during these days because of their irresponsibility and miscoordination between the company and responsible courier service to deliver the product.

            There was a miscalculation made by me which needs to be corrected. Therefore, I want to change the miscalculated part with the following :-

            The total amount already paid through debit card is Rs5016. Out of which only they made a refund of Rs.835.
            The one product “Go Hooked 3 Panel Gleaming Rays Wall Decor” of Rs.494 which I am using and that they don't need to refund. But out of Rs.5016 – Rs.835 - Rs.494 = Rs.3687 they should refund without any deduction. I have no issue if they want to take their products which are defective and still I am not using them as still wrapped and packed with their packaging materials.
            I have placed an order for ceiling fan on 31St oct 2015 but still waiting for delivery Order no.[protected] Order ID.[protected] Worst part of it that while contacting in Chat Phone etc getting contradictory information about sme order (1) Your order is cancelled from our end(2) refund is made and credited in your Bank a/c which is wrong I checked it (3) your ordered item is delivered which is again wrong (4) from last 15 days hearing same that we apploze for delay you will receive within 48 hours this again proves to be false and still waiting for delivery.I am trying to get postal address so that I can file case in consumer fora um .

              I had placed an order for SINGLE SEATER DURIAN SOFA, quantity 02 and paid a sum of Rs 45. 402/- in advance via Internet Banking. The date of delivery for the same was 07th Oct 15. Even after making repeated complaints through e mails, there has been no reply from the side of the company. I will be forced to file litigation in the Consumer Forum if the company does not compensate soon for the mental & economical harassment that i am facing due to this delay on their part.

                I wanted to return the sofa purchased online portal on 09/10/2015 by order no.[protected] and did not like the product. so i put request for return of the purchase.

                As per their return policy they were to pick up within 24-48 hours of request placed with them. Today is 15th October 2015 but nothing is happened till date. i am calling them twice in a day and got the reply that some will call you within 4 hours but for them four hours are not over till date.

                Can some one look in to this & and one can not access the responsible person of company to address this complaint ? and theses call center are useless contact with company. They are like recorded messages.

                    Its been like 20 days from the day I asked for cancellation. I never received any product and need urgent refund. Once I cancel means I need a refund ASAP. Its very annoying situation that the customer support team or pepperfry team is not bothered about the customer even though I repeatedly asked for. Order No.[protected]

                      I ordered 6 bedsheets. 4single and 2 double but I got 5 single and 1 double. On the outer cover it was written double bedsheet and i even paid the price of the double bedsheet but when I opened it, it turned out to be a single bedsheet. I tried contacting pepper fry but it seems useless

                        I ordered a product from Pepper fry last month. On surfing through the website of the Vendor for other similar products I found out that the same product was available for a much lesser value at the Vendors own website. On calling Pepperfry they verified and confirmed my claim. They also said that the additional charge would be refunded to my account but that has so far turned out to be a false promise. Every time I contact them for the status, their standard response is "We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you. We understand there is an unexpected delay in resolving the issue. We wish to inform you that your response has been forwarded to the relevant team who is already working on the case."

                          I received a bed from Pepperfry in March 2015 for Rs 14000/-(fourteen thousand rupees) . ORDER #[protected]. It broke in September .I mailed Pepperfry on 20 Sep requesting to get it repaired with photos which demonstrated the poor quality of the material . They called back reading out terms and conditions of the sale and that they were not responsible for the quality .They told me to get it repaired from a local carpenter .                             I was promised that the product can be returned if I am not satisfied with the product or if doesnt match my need and also received an email which states the same. Once I recieved the product I realized that the mattress doesnt fit the Cot which was purchased from the seller Pepperfry. Now I am being told that this product does not come under the returnable product list and they cannot accept the return and also the right size of mattress is not available with this seller (Pepperfry) and I am left with no option, but incurring a loss of Rs. 11894 which is not being refunded.

                              Order Number:[protected]. My complaint number is : 00981143. The order is for 2 sets of Mariana Teak Wood Sofa Set in Fresh Walnut Finish. (3 seater + 1 seater + 1 seater) On 29th Sept, 1 seater sofa chair was missing in the part of the delivery. I was informed that it would be delivered in two days. On the delivery challan, I have mentioned that 1 seater chair has not been provided. I was given the number of Sandeep - Mobile number [protected] for follow up. On 1st Oct, I called up Sandeep and he again said in two days, the product would be delivered. After that day, Sandeep doesn't answer my calls. I have been following up with the customer service department regularly and the only answer I get is "someone will get back to you in 24 hours." It has been 8 days since the delivery and no one from Pepperfry has bothered to communicate either by phone or email. I have paid the full amount on 30th Aug 2015 and yet there is no sign of any service. I would like to know when am I getting my 1 seater sofa whose complete payment has been done on 30th Aug 2015?

                              Today, 11th Nov 2015, we have FINALLY received the undelivered chair. This was originally supposed to be received on 29th Sept. The PepperFry team has already marked this problem as resolved. However on 11th Nov it should be marked as resolved because the delivery has been done today at 1:00pm.

                              I would like to thank this forum for forwarding our complaint to Pepperfry because without this complaint on this platform, receiving our 1 seater chair would have been impossible.

                                Online ordered Dining table, full payment made online, expected delivery date was 28 sept, 2015, its 3rd October till today it has not been delivered. Following up continuously every day they are doing false commitments. What should I do now.

                                  Sir, I have ordered dining table online to pepeerfry. My order no is[protected] ordered on 13 Sept 2015. Expected delivery date was 28 Sept 2015. Today its 3rd October till today I have not received the delivery of the item. I am continuously follow up with company written mails, everyday they give one or other delivery date. What should I do in this case.Will it help approaching consumer forum. Thanks for your support. S.

                                    I placed order for auto ignition cook top. They agreed delivery in one week, but delivered after 3 weeks. I ordered auto but they delivered manual. I asked for refund. one week passed for image to prove delivered is not auto. now it is 2 months and for every mail from my side they will reply as concerned official will contact you. On line business like these people are keeping public money on various reasons and there is no action from govt. against such cheating groups. small technique will make them rich.

                                    order placed and payment accepted for Auto ignition gas cook top but delivered manual. Almost one month passed after several communications and last mail refused refund stating that it is not pepperfry mistake ??

                                      Beware.. pepperfry used to be a good site to buy stuff i brought 2, 3 times from it but this time when i placed a order for a hand blender on 7-9-15 and paid by net banking order no.[protected]. on 20-9-15 i received a parcel from peppery which had 2 pillows in it and a bill having someone elses name and address and on the outside of the box my name address was printed.. i called the customer care and they asked me to send an email to pepperfry which i did and after that i am regularly calling pepperyfry customer care from more then a week there is no proper resonse or result is there evrytime i call they say ur cocern is ok we will check and rectify but nothing happens they are just a bunch of liers and frauds now. and we can say they dont have any customer care at all...

                                        I purchased “Go Hooked Make A Wish Sky Lantern” “Status Bed Side Taba Runner Red” and three nos of “Prego Amphio 290 Ml Glasses - 6 Pcs Set ” from prpperfry under order no. Order No.[protected], Order No.[protected] and Order No.[protected] respectively. All these orders were placed between 14 to 16th Aug. Till 19th sept when I did not get products, Checked with tracking history. For 2 out of 3 products, it was showing “Tracking no. not exist”. For third product it shows “Item return on request of shipper i.e pepperfry on 05 sept”. I mailed about same to Pepperfry. I waited for nearly one week and still waiting for their response. If my oders are cancelled/return, that why I did not get and mail/communication reg: same from Pepperfry till date. And in same situation when they are planning to return my money. All these Items I ordered Were for some special occasion. Since pepperfry had spoiled the occasion, which can not be remburshed by money, they make it worse by not returning my money of These Advance paid orders.
