Hi,

I had registered complaint (Mum[protected]) on 7th aug’18, mentioning that the sensor of the small keyboard provided along with my philips tv is malfunctioning (A major constraint to the tv being used as smart tv). Till date i have called twice at the customer complaint number[protected] reminding them of nil response, but i haven’t received any call yet from either the company or from any of its authorized service stations.

With such poor service backup, it gives me no comfort, that philips india has provided 5 yrs warranty on my 42” 4k tv (Model no-55put7791/v7a19). Honestly i hadn’t imagined that a brand like philips would provide such a poor service back up.

May i request philips india team to kindly attend to the problem and resolve it asap?

I purchase my home Theater 2.1 on 12/05/2018. after one and half Month its woofer is not working . Then I give this in service center on date 21/07/2018 and one month completed still not any response from them.
They given reason like parts not available from company you have to wait few more days. I hope you will take positive action on this.

    I bought my first philips 5.1 home theater few years ago model number hts 5520 and it was amazing. For all these years i have been using this and didn't even bother to upgrade it. Not being the reason to afford another brand or model but i was really happy with the sound quality.

    Until it got a small defect and philips service ruined it completely.in the month of april/may 2018 there was this small power blinking issue and i called the philips customer care. I had no idea that gibson will come into picture on behalf of philips. However i got my home theater repaired by philips authorized partner - gibson and after charging over rs. 4000 for a simple power fluctuation issue. When this home theater was delivered to me after service, the service guy declined to show me parts which were changed and charged for. I somehow got a feeling that nothing was being done or it won't last long. Right after 24 hours my home theater stopped working and the sound was coming from only one speaker.
    I called the service guy and he told me to reset everything which i did. It worked for few hours and then same issue.

    Since then i have been in touch with the service center and requested to recheck but they said my service warranty has been expired and they will charge again for a service visit.
    So.. For a home theater which i loved the most and hadn't upgraded over the sound quality, philips service ruined it big time and left it useless for me.

    I paid a service cost of over rs 4000 for a home theater which i had bought in rs 13000 approx. I regret that i should've thrown it away and bought a new home theater from other brand.

    Why would philips/gibson did something like that? If they cannot guarantee that they can fix something after charging a hefty amount from the customer, who gave them right to ruin something which a customer loved the most?

    Would love to see an answer or a resolution. I won't stop taking this matter further until i see any resolution.

      I have purchased philips 43" 4k led tv 3 yrs warranty but after 1 yr the display is dead then i submit the tv on 22/07/2018 in philips service center happy care service center, hari nagar, new delhi. Till now no one can tell me about my led tv every time they told me sir your problem solved within 7 or 8 days pls help me to file a complaint against philips & happy care service center

        I bought a phillips food processor and got this free couple movie ticket card from them. But i tried to access their website http://philips.bigcityexperience.com/

        But i am getting error message that services for this domain have been disabled. Please resolve this matter or issue me another card. This is bad customer experience that u give him card which cant be used.

        Also one of the internal food processor machine part need to be soldered before installation. The technician told us that this was problem in all machines. The product had sticker of ok tested. Not sure if it was not working as it was not soldered before how was it ok tested. Not expected from a brand like phillips.

          I have lodge a compain for my speaker spa8150b as one day suddenly it stopped working... Two of so called enggs. Came to fix this issue but no body till date resolve my concern and it has passed more than 1 n half mnths... Both of them came and they noted down some numbers and went... Till date nobody came, nobody called and nobody even bother to know if my issue has been resolved or not... Pathetic service of philips... Feels disappointed...
          Even customer service used to tell that some will come and fixed my issue but nobody has resolved my issue yet... I cannot remember the first complain number but here is the second complain number sup001/556321... I didnt ever thought that phillips will serve their customer in this ridiculous way...

            I have purchase tv in the on 1 april 2017.. And it installed at home 1 - april-2017. This tv was purchased one year before. Yesterday evening the date 6.8.2018 tv made on after one hrs its display got blind and only power indication is showing... After few second smoke appear back side from the tv.. We quickly made its power supply off and remove power cable.

            It has 5 year warranty (3 year warranty + 2 year extended warranty) but now only 15 months completed...

            I request to kind do the need full...
            Its serial number is-39pfl6570/v7 a18.

            I have registered the complain customer care and my complain number luc[protected] on dated 7.8.18... I have call every day after one week on dated 14.8.2018 again i call to customer care they had reply your complain is completed... No one technician has call me...

            Customer care provide me service center mobile number all are fraud.. When i call then they have refuse reason is they have tell we are not serve my area call again customer care.

            I have log again complain on date-14.8.2018 get complain number is luc[protected]. But still no one responce.

            I have try to call area incharge mr. Ns yadav also his responce also not satisfied... This number is given by local dealer m/s dk electricals

            After that i have head of philips mr. Sudhir... He say i have inform your work will be complete but when will complete who work no information...

              I have published led tv on 1/6/2018 and became dead on 15/7/2018 complaint registered on 17/7/2018. I was told that circuit of the tv has become dead and needs to be changed.
              It was told by service head mr. Satyaveer singh & mr. Deeraj jain that they have placed orders with company to supply the defective part. On 12/8/2018 it was intimated that part requested was not supplied but some other part was supplied by the company. New requisition is being sent.
              Sir, we were debarred to watch impedance day celebration. I can't wait more therefore request to replace the tv.

                Tv purchased on 1/6/2018 became dead on 15/7/2018 sms sent, complained on service center. Due to replacement of part lying dead. Part demanded by service center was still awaited from company. Please replace defective led tv with new one as can't wait more.
                It was told by mechanic that circuit of the tv has become defective and needs only to be replaced. Ordered part was not sent by company and sent some other part so still it to be wait more time. I request to replace it with new one

                Your Service Center Mr. Satyaveer Singh stated that Phillips has stopped manufacturing LED TV so replacement is not possible therefore we will change part only and as we (Company) has no LED TV in stock they will take TV from the dealer and take part out of running TV and replace the same. Is it not a funny reply, they will disturb a new TV take part from it and replaced but will not replace my TV

                  I have purchased surge protector for my computer but i had not seen any warranty card and test certificate inside the packet. The product code is[protected]. If the material is found spurious, then how shall i get the replacement. The store will not be able to get it replaced. This is serious dereliction of their responsibility and the matter is required to get addressed by their head of marketing or ceo.

                  I purchased a surge protector from a mall on 10/8/19. After 2 months o[censored]sing smoke came out of the protector and there was a sound speakers which was connected with it, that also stopped working now. It looks like I lost one sound speaker along with protector. I want compensation for both.

                    After complaining to customer care of philips (After sales services provided by videocon) and also agreeing for display part costing 16000/- there is no provision for repair.
                    According to them part is not available. Now this is pure harrassment to us.
                    We are tired doing follow up with them.
                    Now we really want a replacement for our tv. Or we would take this matter forward.

                      I had given my defective earphones for replacement.At the service center I was assured that replacement will take atmost 7 days.It has already been 1.5 months now and still nothing.I have called many times to inquire.The people at the service center are the worst.They speak to you very rudely almost to the point of abusing.I was insulted every time I had called.I fear now even to contact the center as new unpleasantries would be hurled at me again.I request Philips to look into this matter as they have become very egotistical as this is the only service centre in Mumbai which replaces earphones, so they think they can do anything and get away with it.

                      The center was Philips service center Santa Cruz East, Mumbai.
                      Coil is damaged. We are having heating problem as well. Currently, iron has stopped working. Please look into this as soon as possible. And our product is still in the warranty period

                          I had registered the complaint in june 2018 that our tv is not working and support person came and worked on the same. But the new remote and tv light was not working properly so he mentioned he will be back in 1-2 days and work on that. We paid him 6500rs including new remote money after that we called him but he didn't came back. I am trying to call him but he mentioned registered the complaint again and we were not able to connect with support team.

                            Hello team,

                            Good evening!

                            I am Sandeep from Hyderabad writing to you about my problem in receiving a replacement set of Phillips 55 inch LED TV for the last 2 months.

                            The invoice number at Bajaj electronics is MAL/15/68061

                            The TIN is [protected]

                            The model number of the set is 55PFL5059/V7AZ.

                            The serial number of the set is[protected].

                            The original set of Philips LED 55PFL5059 was purchased in Bajaj Electronics Punjagutta, Hyderabad on the 5th of February 2016 with a 3 Year warranty for the set.

                            On the June 02nd this year, we had the TV shut down suddenly and so I raised a complaint over the customer support channel thru the call centre toll free number and the complaint was registered.

                            The next day, technicians came home and checked everything and asked us to get the set to Sri Renuka Enterprises, bowenpally for a thorough check-up.

                            I took the TV immediately on the 5th of June but after a period of 2 weeks, they told me that it has display problem and awaiting the replacement part. Then they called up and asked me to come over to take my set by paying a fee of 1298/- and told me that since the part was not available in the state, they have got an approval to replace my complete set within 2 weeks of time.

                            The cash receipt number from Sri renuka enterprises is 002116 and was serviced by a professional called Anil Kumar.

                            The call number in the toll free number is HYD[protected]

                            I would need your immediate assistance on this matter as none of your supervisors/team members take my call and have no proper courtesy to answer back my calls. I have probably called them up a 100 times till date. I also reached out to the supervisor at Delhi called Abhishek, Rajiv Gandhi at Hyderabad and Chandra Shekhar at Hyderabad.

                            This is frustrating and I raised a complaint with the National consumer forum as well and the complaint number with them is 850679.

                            I have also attached the required bills/complaint bills etc for your reference and I need an immediate attention to this one.

                              Dear sir / madam,

                              I had purchased a phillips led tv (Model no. Phillips uhs led 42put7590-pda + dsp475u) on 10th november, 2015 through vijay sales, andheri west. The tv is under a 5 year warranty. Relevant invoice & warranty.

                              This tv has been defective since april 2018. Their after sales service is absolutely pathetic and they are very rude in talking to customers. After sending around 20 25 emails, calling the concerned area manager mr. Vikas pande who til date has not picked a single call of mine (Must have called him atleast 100 times.. God knows why their customer care gives number of people who are least bothered in picking up calls).

                              The tv was replaced eventually on may 30th. But the tv again got defects in just 20 days of functioning i. E. Till june 22nd.

                              Again i have raised complaints and i am sending countless emails everyday but i am not getting any response from the arrogant service center people.

                              For a common man like me i am being rendered helpless at the mercy of few people who are actually damaging the reputation of philipps. Infact i would never want anyone to go through this ordeal of mine.

                              It may also be noted that while i am wihtout a tv practically since april 2018, i have also paid 1000 rupees for the first replacement tv as delivery charges and again 944 rupees as service charge to register complaint charges. While charges are being taken from me no action has been taken.

                              I demand immediate actions firstly against this arrogant area manager mr. Vikas pande who i feel is completely useless as a area service manager and needs to be taught basic etiquettes about customer service.

                              I am going to take phillips to the consumer court if required and i will make sure they get enough publicity to let the world know what shady business runs behind the screen and what misery awaits for each single one of a philipps purchaser.

                                Dear team,
                                Regretly informing about the pathetic service and response I have been receiving from the replacement centre. I was told by the customer service that I would get my product within 15-20 days. I did wait and contacted the replacement center on last Saturday which is 04/08/2018 and I was told that it would be given on Monday ie. 06/08.2018. I doubted this and contacted the person before visiting the actual center. The person told me that it's still pending at their end and they are doing hard enough to provide replacement for those customers, did submit in July. Fine.. I understood it. I asked for the further date. The person failed to give any commitment. Instead redirected me to the customer service which is pointless. I asked again and the person told me that he couldn't give any assurance.
                                Now this has taken all the faith I had on PHILIPS. That shows how pathetic is the response from the replacement service.

                                  Hi good day philips customer care team,

                                  I have purchased a philips tv on 31/july/2015 with one of our dealer; the same product had some issues with display and had to send it for servicing with jentech services (33/2, sakthi nager main road, arumbakkam, chennai 106) on 26/may/2018.
                                  Having got a 3 year manufacturer warranty, i was told by jentech that it would replaced as the spares is not available to fix the tv display issues.
                                  Its been more than 2 months now, till date i have been told that
                                  I have been informed with several sms that my compliant will be closed for several times. But still the replacement is not yet done.
                                  I have been in touch with jentech and tek care representatives, they have advised that its not yet billed and which why the tv replacement it pending for a long.

                                  Please let me know where are we now and when can i expect to receive the tv.

                                    I have purchased a philips tv which is 32" & the display is not working. This product is under warranty. I have raised a complaint to philips customer care & i got a complaint number from customer care team. The complaint number is - del[protected]. One of the engineer has visited the site on 21st june & he has collected all the documents (Warranty card, bill copy, etc).

                                    Post that no body is responding. I have tried to call mr rajesh vij (Area service manager) but he is not responding.

                                    Can you pls help on this.

                                      Its Regarding complaint number through Philips customer care. Complaint number = BHO[protected] Date = 04/01/2018 Complaient was regarding Led dim issue from one of the corner, Although TV was working fine but its just about little dim light due to one of the led got out of order. We delivered TV to their authorised service center ( address mentioend in about column for dealer name and address ) They charged 4 thousance rs to change whole LED strip, but within one and half month again it started giving same issue. So they repaired it again, Then again in 15 days it started giving same issue with some other issues as well like this time no picture was coming. They took again 4th time for repair, this time they repaired and said TV panel is gone. TV panel was fine before, due to multiple repair and technician mistakes it got damaged. Now they are keeping my TV and not responding anything. They started by passing this thing by saying like it was initially worked for more than one month so our job was done. From January till today still my TV is with them and they are keep delaying it and not repairing it. Either they have to return my whole amount with same TV condition like before as TV panel was fine before, or They should repair it completely and give it to me. Still my TV is with them and look like they simply dump it in their service cernter corner.

                                        The remote control of my above reffered audio system has gone bad, which according to the service center can not be repaired. I ordered for a new remote control which the service center asked for about one week to go get it from the company. The remote control which the company sent was the different part no. Which was ordered to the service center. The same according to the service center has been ordered again, but is still not being made available.
                                        As per telephonic call to the area sales manager, the company is not supplying the parts regularly.
                                        The system has now gone out o[censored]se without the remote and spare is not available.
                                        Such an irresponsible attitude of a company like philips is not expected.
                                        Philips India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
