I have serviced my home theater at clarity electronics services, authorised phillips service centre. Address: ap-866, h-block 2nd street, 12th main road, annanagar, chennai-600040.
Problem: just power button problem. After checking they called me and said that, "power board is not working properly and need to be changed and the cost around rs.3600". I replied that, ok change a new one.
And when i was going to receive my home theater i asked my old power board. They said that they will not give to the customer. And i asked for the bill for the new power board with serial number and all. They said that, we are not maintaining that type of stoke bill. They wrote some hts 5520, power supply board and 2 motors with gst. (No amount mentioned for product and corresponding calculation for cgst & sgst etc.,). Not given proper bill for the replaced new material and not given back old replaced material of my home theater.
I feel that i was badly cheated, as
1. Without changing the new power board they claimed rs.3600 from me.
2. By replacing a small rs.100 chip also, they would have rectified my device.
3. Or just by replacing another old systems board, with lower cost also, they meight have rectified my device.
Please clarify my confusion.
