Subject: Faulty service from Philips authorized Center, Bhopal/ product is defective

Res Sir,
I purchased Philips Home Theatre system (Model no. HTB3510/94) from Lotus Electronics, Bhopal (M. P.) on 12/10/13. I rarely used this player then also a few days back when I tried to play an authorized Blu-ray Disc on the system, the main unit did not accept the disc whereas it accepted all other discs like CD, VCD, DVD and USBs.

To find out the solution for this problem I contacted the Philips Electronics India Ltd. on its Consumer Care Toll free number[protected] where they suggested me an authorized Philips Service Center –Sunil Distributor/ Car Audio Cares, Ground Floor, Zone -1, M.P. Nagar, Bhopal.

I got it serviced there where they changed the pick-up and lenses on 18/01/2017 and charged me Rs.4026. I brought it home and played it, after half an hour it stopped working and accepted no commands except on and off. I informed MP State /Philips representative Mr. Raj Rathore on his contact no.[protected] and submitted the main unit at the service center on 13/02/2017. Till date they did not contact me, so I called them on 25/02/17(Saturday) and they told me that there was a problem in the Boot/Mother board/Main Unit and approximately Rs.4000 would be needed to recover it again. When I was inquiring the details about this telephonically[protected] they abruptly cut my call twice. Then I called Mr. Anil Kumar on his mobile [protected].He refused to talk to me and said that he was busy in a meeting.

This is highly irresponsible behavior and intolerable treatment I got from Philips Service Center –Sunil Distributor/ Car Audio Cares, Bhopal. They provided me faculty service or the fault of Technician from Philips Authorized Center. After the change of genuine pick-up and lenses, Blue ray Disc player stopped functioning immediately, within a Month (01 Month Warranty provided by service center).

This clearly proves faulty service or the fault of Technician from Philips Authorized Center.

As per the advice of Consumer Care, Philips Electronics India Ltd. already paid Rs 4026/- for change of genuine Pick up/Lenses in authorized Philips Service Center –Sunil Distributor/ Car Audio Cares, Bhopal, Now how can I pay Rs.4000 again just to play the Blu-ray disc as I had already paid Rs.4000. (Repairing cost is very high to run blue ray disc on this player)

Either the service center has provided me faulty service or the product is defective. Please look this matter on priority basis as early as possible.

Philips India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
After two day from date of buying hand blinder got out of order due to technical error.
So please make an arrangement to replace this with other new one.
Your retailer is not cooperating with us so disappointed.

    I have booked a complaint of my Philips TV model No. 46PFL5755/V7 vide complaint no.GHA[protected] dated Jan 15th, 2017 with handyhome.in which is service portal fro philips TV. Please find below the response activity wise
    1. Technician Ankur contact no. [protected], visited on 17.1.17, analysed the problem without much of testing declared motherboard is faulty. The same was earlier replaced by Philips by paid services 15 months back. The man highly unprofessional seems to be some local technician outsourced by Philips service agency. He also tried to negotiate on fixed committed service charges also.
    2.No response for a week.
    3. After following up from my end some Balraj from Videocon contact no.[protected] visited on 21.1.17, without doing any testing confirmed the same problem. Assured to provide solution by next day but later neither called up or informed nor receiving calls from me.
    4. Again received 2 calls from two different technicians inquiring the problem but no further response.
    5. Again received call from Mohit Sharma contact no. [protected] inquiring about problem later no response.
    6. I have tried to contact their Area Service Incharge Harish contact no.[protected] several time over phone he did not ever bother to receive calls, even I sent sms which also he did not bother to respond or act upon.
    7. Lastly to anyone's surprise they have cancelled ( mind it not closed) the complaint complaint on Jan 31st, 2017 without any resolution and reason for cancellation.

    Through this forum, I am requesting for strict action against company and service in charge Harish with resolution of my problem or refund of TV purchase price if they have issue in resolving the problem.

    I purchased a earphone and it was not working after few month and then I contacted service center and asked for the replacement. Then I was informed that I will receive the replacement only after 15 days. When requested they gave me the date till 27th but today is 2nd MARCH AND STILL I HAVENT RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT.

      Worst service against customers.
      I bought a wireless SHC1300/10 headphones. Which was not working after 1 year. I contacted Phillips servicing people but they simply say that it cannot be repaired. If the item is bought before warranty period they would replace.
      The item is useless and no body will repair it if it do not work. It costs 1600/ which is not at all worth.

        Dear Sir,

        I have purchased Phillips LED TV 39 inch from Ezone, Big bazaar, Vijayawada on 10 Dec 2016. The technician installed LED tv on 13 Dec 16 at my home.

        During purchase I asked for TV sealed peace. However they informed that they dont have sealed peace but they informed to take the new one which is on display. They also assured that the display piece is brand new.

        Based on their assurance I have purchased the TV. Bill attached.

        However within a week I noticed a small 'O' shaped white circle dot on the TV. I informed that technical person on 20 dec 16, who visited my home and informed to wait for few days and if doesnt go, customer service may be contacted.

        As the circle dot remained, I called the customer service no. of times. However only on 7th Jan 1, the customer care informed that the technician will come and rectify the same. He only arrived on 9th jan 2017. He informed that the TV has to be sent to service center for further checkup as they cannot open the LED TV at home. The same has been brought to the notice of Big bazaar show room at Vijayawada and they are not responding properly and no one is suggesting any solution. I have informed the technician to take the TV to service center. He refused the same and informed that i have to personally hand it over to service center. I have personally handed over to the service center on 28th Jan 2016.

        However they have not updated the status. Only when i call them they say they are contacting Head quarters for the new panel.

        Around 2nd feb 17, the service center has informed me that they ordered for a new panel and it will take 7-10 days.

        After repeated calls, they informed that by 20th Feb 17 which is almost 23days, the TV will be ready. Now today i.e 20th feb, they informed they didnt get the panel and they dont know, how many days it will take.

        Kindly provide me new replacement TV and suitable compensation as they caused mental harrasement.

          I m very upset with philips Hl 1632 500w juicer mixer grinder which was bought online flipkart order no OD[protected] . within 5 to 6 days when i was start the juicer it was blast, the jug of juicer was totally broken into pieces ...thanx god i was safe, the pieces dnt hurt me . but can u tell me whose the responisible for all this . i want to replace or refund this product ...thank u

            From the day of purchase have bad experience.

            Their is technical & mfg. problem with the product.

            The lids of none of the 3 jars provided get sealed properly the mixers centrifugal force throws the contents and blows of lid as well as inside contents. Complaint was raised immediately after purchase technician came saw said will change jars, did not turn up again. We continued using with great risk and difficulty till now past two months new problem seen.

            Problem 2, the mixer while using gets heated immediately and the plastic body of the jar gets stuck into plastic shaft of mixer. Had to raise complaint the technician came after 3 days with brute force removed jar. The problem of mixer heating, leakage remains, customer service not bothered to solve that as the customer like us has lost money. You have fooled us with your name brand.

            Lost complete faith in Philips brand still hoping Philips resolves as can't imagine a brand like Philips fooling common man.

              My induction heater HD4929 serial #ZK1A[protected] is in warranty purchased from Deluxe Electrical Stores, Golmuri, Jamshedpur. At the time of purchase there was a hair scratch on the top which overlooked by me.
              After one month that scratch widen up means it is changing from hair scratch to hair crack.
              We have complained for the same and representative from authorized service cent of Philips M/s B.P. Electric, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur (PH[protected] has came and take the product with him.
              After 2 days they called me and told that I have to pay for the parts.
              I want to say only one thing this is a manufacturing defect or defect of their product then why should I pay.
              If they want that their customers suffer and they don't care then keep your product with you.
              I will end my relationship with Philips now.

                I have logged a complaint on 28th January 2017 for my mixer grinder and received a message that a technician has been assigned for my request.. my repair request number is 60-[protected].. received a call from a technician asking irrelevant questions as in where do you stay and that is far so we cannot come for a small complaint there.. is it really Philips? Since then we have requested twice giving them a reminder to fix up the issue but still the same.. is this the way you treat your customers Philips?
                Didn't expect this from a well known successful brand..
                Can you now send someone at the earliest to fix up the issue?

                  I have logged complaint on 6th Nov, 2016 for my 40 inch TV having black line coming at the centre and colours are coming different on left and right sides .
                  After that service person came to checked and after that I am chasing from last more than three month and spoke to all service persons of ahmedabad but no action only statements that panel or TV will be changed with new one.
                  Now when today I talk on toll free no about the same they are saying that no complaint is registered?
                  What is this?

                  Regretting my decision of taking this Food Processor, Everytime it gives OL error without any overloading issues and itself corrected after 3-4 days.

                  This time, its being 15 days and I am not finding any help / support in this regard.

                    Sir,
                    I have purchased a juicer mixer grinder on 16/12/2016 vide bill no. 027566 and from the very next day it has started troubling us . while using juicer mode it splits carrot juice all over the grinder and also make noise which irritates us . i have lodges a complaint vide complaint no. WO160-[protected] and Philips representative came to rectify the problem but from the next day the same problem started again for which i again lodges the complaint and two video have been made of the problem i have been facing . The video was taken by the Philips Rep (moille no.[protected]) and he made a promise to get back soon but it has now more than 15 days since i have sent the video, the Rep everyday says that the complaint is under process .
                    please take necessary action else i will move to the consumer forum of gov. of india along with all details

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am a Philips customer, We purchased a 32" LED in November 2012 from Next in Lajpat Nagar. After warranty we took AMC in 26/06/2015 to 26/062017.

                      But now i did complaint 28 December, executive came and check the LED and take documents he needs. but we have no response. we did again and again.

                      after 1 month he bring TV with us and said some part will change and we will deliver in evening or tomorrow. but I did a call at 31 January, he said today evening he will deliver. But in the evening he said tomorrow he will change the part of TV and deliver after 2 or 3 days.

                      Sorry sir but i have been very frustrated now for your service in future we will not purchase any product of Philips.

                      Please do the need full.

                        Bluetooth speakers product code BT50W/00 bought in october 2016 through amazon are not working properly . it aslo not getting charged.something is wrong with it.                           I have purchase a led philips tv 32 inch through online (Amazon) on 13/10/2016 vide invoice no gj-samb[protected] but same led got defective and i contacted with authorised repairing centre through telephonic but company tech/engineer told after checking of led that we unable to repair y of said led on free of cost and suggested that i[censored] want to repair than u pay amount around 9, 0000 to 10, 000/- on its repair i requested him that above led covered under warranty period than why i pay the repair charge

                              I had purchase a Philips 32 inch television set on 20/10/2014 from flipkart India online whose warranty was upgraded for three years.
                              The said television was not working properly hence complaint was lodged with the customer care Philips India on 13/12/2016 vide compliant No MUM[protected].
                              The said television was collected by the service centre for repairs on 16/12/2016 but returned back, with the report that parts are not available .
                              The said service centre person informed us that the television set will be replaced in a weeks time.
                              I regret to say that inspite of several follow up from 16/12/2016 to date, neither concrete response has been received from Philips India nor the replaced television.
                              I was given at least 10 different phone no from area manager to zonal manager of my area but none of them responded apart from one Mr Ajay Patankar who at least responded to my call.
                              I got a call from Philips India office on 13/01/2017 from telephone no[protected] saying that my model is not available for replacement hence another model will be given with extra charges which I didn't agree; but after that they are silent no my issue.
                              I am attaching herewith the invoice copy, emailed warranty card from Philips India .

                                I have four years old Audio player of Philips. Due to mechanical fault I sent its on Philips authorised service centre, Acacia Electronic Care, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow on 6 Jan, 2017, This centre was 10 Km away from my residence. I get audio after maintenance on 17 Jan and pay Rs. 530 by receipt no 1742.
                                When I came back, found that no work was done. Fault was remained unsolved. Again I go to that service centre and complain for his negligence. Again he took my Audio for maintenance. For this inconvenience I spend 4 hours in journey and burn 5 Litters petrol in my car. After one week I will go again to collect our audio. Now question is who is responsible for this negligence? Why I will spend maintenance charges and travelling expenses due to fault of service centre? why I west our whole day ?
                                I want legal action against this service centre and want he will bear my traveling expenses and one day labour cast also.

                                  Hope you are doing great.
                                  It's been almost a year and almost 9-10 times I have filed my complaints but I must say that the company's executives are so inefficient and so good at wasting time putting calls on hold and seem so uninterested to looking into the matter.The mixer is not working since the very beginning and after having many technicians visits I still face the same problem. I have even got several of its parts repaired and the technicians don't have the basic know-how of the product. Having contacted customer care I was told all my efforts are in vain and they can't do anything and I have to seek service center's help and having contacted service center so many times I was told they can't do anything except faulty repairs and useless visits. I just want a proper solution that is the replacement of the product this time because I'm annoyed to my best and that is in the company's policies which I have referred to properly. kindly look into the matter.

                                  At least do reply to this mail back. I have my contact no. registered with Philips i.e. [protected] which you can refer to get all the details. I really don't think that there is any need to take this matter to any online medium and make people aware of this issue. I just want this issue to be resolved and nothing else. Hope I was clear in my description.

                                    Its been more than 3 days that i have been send back and forth between Domlur & Banaswadi branches Bangalore to get the small work done. Both claims that my are doesn't come under them and try to push back to the other group. I talked to Domlur branch Manager Kanakaraj as well. If its not happening today he himself is claiming that i have to wait till Monday. I have mode more than 20 calls to both these branches and tried reaching out to your technicians as well directly.
                                    Is this the kind of service that you provide? As a customer I am highly frustrated and disappointed. Please take some action and define the areas clearly to each of your branches.

                                      Dear sir, i dr. Rekha bhutada hereby would like to intimate you, i have purchased above said product on 09.01.17 & 1st time when i used juicer jar to make juice, i realized there is crack on juicer jar from which little juice was spilling out.
                                      Therefore its my sincere request to you kindly replace it at your earliest & provide me right jar.

                                        Dear Concern,

                                        I raised complains vide complain No.[protected] &[protected] on dtd.28/12/2016 & 04/01/2017 and also replaced part as per advice of your technician but instead of resolving old problem a new problem created by technician. Now when I start juicer, maximum juice sprinkled from side. I regret and surprise to say that instead of resolving problem your trained technician tried to misrepresentation like carrots are hard, you should run machine for 100ML juice only, you have to change whole chamber, Now I am confused and feel that it is blunder to purchase Philips product but also little bit happy that purchased small product which can be suffered.

                                        Now at last you are requested to kindly if it possible, kindly revert any suitable solution.
