I had bought 4 Philips CFL bulbs of 15 watt, 2 year back, all of them went down one after the other in a span of one and half year...
My concern is if the life span of a CFL bulb is just 12-18 month why invest of Rs 100, instead of Rs 10 for an ordinary bulb...
Since the warranty was only for an year, i'm not getting replacement, either, such a waste......

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring to notice regarding the under performance of Water purifier Candle. We bought Philips water purifier in March 2010. While buying Philips salesperson promised us that each candle will last upto 3000 L or approximately 6 months if the daily consumption is about 15 L.

But ever since we started using it, each candle works only for 2 months i.e., around 1000 L and then red light...
