I had bought a 32 inches Philips LCD TV back in Feb 2011 from Ezone Bangalore... I decided to buy the TV only becuase they said that it has 3 yrs extended warranty (on account of the world cup 2011 offer)... Now after almost a year and half the TV has broken down. I lodged a complaint on 21-Sep-2012 and the service engineer visited our place after pleading and making more than 20 calls on 28th, he chekced the TV and said that the mother board is not working and he said it needs to be ordered, , and today (18-Oct-2012) he visited our place again after 50 - 60 calls, after I visiting the Ezone showroom almost 4 times and to my suprise he says that Philips has not sent the part which he had ordered for, now he needs to again order for some other parts. I dont know how many more days would it take to receive those parts from thier head office. Furhter he says that the extended warranty is not applicable for the parts.

Fist thing is I really don't understand Philips being an MNC how can they have such a hopeless aftermarket service and such irresponsible work force. Secondly when they gave the extended warranty why doesnt it cover for the parts? I read in the warranty card that it covers the labor and even the parts. Can anybody from Philips contact me and help me get this issue resolved. My phone number is +91 [protected].

    Hi,

    Summary: My worst experience with Philips and Philips service.
    My Philips Home Theater System Model Number HTS 4750 was given for service and we found that Main board is changed and they are trying to take money from us, to replace the changed board with our own non-faulty board.
    Since, I already had several bad experiences with Philips service, I had taken a pictures of the main board for reference, when compared it was completely different board and the chip number and the serial numbers are different.

    They did not expect us to check the board, when asked the service engineer, he does not have answers and bluffs with shiver with some annoying answers like the service people checked it and may be they replaced, and asked for three days and will let us know what happened to the original board. Until now we have never heard from them, we are totally frustrated and worried about the system.

    Please read through the below, I have explained the complete history. Please help us to get our original non-faulty system and an appropriate answer from Philips/Philips service for this unethical behavior.

    Let me explain the problem I had from the beginning with the Philips and Philips Service Centre.

    I purchased the Philips Home Theater System Model Number HTS 4750 sometime during December 2007 from eZone, Koramangala, Bangalore. Within a year it had problem with the woofer and a Service executive [Rajendran] from I-tel Services, JP Nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore told that the main woofer speakers have problem and need to be replaced. So I paid Rs. 1500 for the new speakers are replaced it.
    Note: They refused to give me back the original old speakers . A Service Executive Rajendran told me that they would need to send back the speakers to the Philips company for analysis and then give me back latter, but still now they had not returned my old speakers.
    Then within next few months, the system again started giving trouble and I contacted the Philips Service Center and the same service executive Rajendra came home and tested the system and this time he said the CENTER Speakers of the HTS is gone and needs to get replaced. So, this time they charged me Rs. 3192 for the new speakers and replaced it on[protected].

    Then within a week, the system started to hang when playing a movie or music or even FM. It plays for about 5 minutes and then hangs. I again called the service people many times and there was no response and after few weeks couple of service people came to my home and tested the system and said there is no problem with the system it's just a software upgrade that must be done to resolve the problem and asked me to bring the system to their service centre. At that moment I got totally frustrated with this system that had frequent issues and taking it for repair and spending thousands on it every time.

    After few months of gap, I took the system to their Philips Service Centre on 01 - OCT - 2012 and told them to upgrade the software and give as they said earlier. But, they said they need to open it and check and that might require another couple of weeks.

    So I left the system with them and waited for nearly 2 weeks and they did not call. Every time I call them, they would say that they will call me back in few minutes and never called back. Latter when I called they said the main board IC is gone so they need to send the board to Pune to fix it. On hearing that, I went to their place to find out more details. At that time I asked them how the software upgrade turned out to be an IC problem now, but they gave all craps which I did not understand and left with no other choice other than getting it repaired to use the system again, so I told them to go ahead with that and asked them for the estimate which they did not give me at that moment. But they told me that they will let me know latter after they get the feedback from their Pune office. I got suspicious about these crude people this time hearing their contradictive response for the complaint. So I took the picture of the Main Board [both front and back side of the board] with the Mobile Phone camera, when they removed from my System before they sent to Pune. Then even after 2 weeks no cal camel from the Service Centre and every time I called them they behaved very irresponsible. One fine day, when I called, they put me on hold for about 5 minutes and connected me to one of their service engineer and he told me that the board cannot be repaired and must be imported and it would cost me Rs. 5432.

    Please Note the 3 different responses for the same complaint, First it was,
    1. "Just a Software Upgrade"
    2. IC problem - can be repaired at their Pune office.
    3. The Problem is in the Main Board and cannot be repaired and must be imported and it would cost me Rs 5432.

    I totally lost trust in them and asked them to give me back my system without doing any repair. For that the system engineer offered me a option to select a Phillips Home Theatre system which was in the range from Rs 20,000 to Rs 69, 000 and he will take my old system and give me a discount on that. But I was not interested in that. So I asked them to give back my system as soon as possible. After that a week later I called them to find the status and they said the board has come back and I can take back my system. So, last Saturday 13-OCT-2012, I went to their Service Centre and they brought my DVD player to me. I asked them to play it and show and I was shocked to see there was no audio or video. So I asked them to open and show me the board, he did that and I was shocked to see that the main board was totally changed with something very old and it had a different serial and chip number when compared with the one I had on the picture in my mobile. In fact, they had stolen the original main board from my DVD player and replaced with some junk to make money by replacing this faulty board with my original board if we ask for a replacement/a fix.

    It makes me think this way because, I can't believe a Philips Authorized Service Centre is so unprofessional and they don't even have a systematic procedure to keep track of the spare parts that was removed and fixed back into a system?
    Can they be so careless and irresponsible and harsh the Consumers like this?

    I believe Philips being a well-recognized brand will not do such a lame thing.

    I got annoyed and asked the Engineer what was it. He did not expected us carrying an evidence of the original board and he could not even explain what had happened. He had asked for another 3 days time to figure out the original board. I am still waiting for it and it's been almost 45 days since I had left my Home Theatre system in their service centre. It did not get repaired but instead, my original Main Board is missing from the system.

    I want Philips as a trustable Consumer company to look into this problem and take appropriate measures and help me get my original main board in the same condition like I gave to this Service Centre [on which I have no faith at all].
    After all it’s hard earned money.

      I bought a Philips Home Theater on 10-July-2011, Model Number HTS-5530, Serial Number 8909171.
      Immediately after purchase and at the time of installation, we were informed by the technician that the system is faulty, We contacted the customer care department with the same issue and there was no resolution at all, then Mr. Vijay Tomar, who heads north delhi service centers intervened and after all of struggle with him we got the Home Theater exchanged, and were issues a new Model No HTS 5530/94 With Serial No KX1A[protected].
      Now this system has again stopped working and after a series of complaint made to customer care ( Complaint Number: 938123) there has been no resolution to the same, now when we tried to contact Mr. Tomar again (whose phone is either on waiting or he did not pick phone) after trying his number for 3-4 days we were able to get our concern to him, and till now he also has not taken any action.
      Plus, I think, these guys are favoring M/s Manthan Enterprises 22/8, Shakti Nagar, Opposite Block-19, North Delhi, (Near Govt. School No. 2, Near Tikona Park), New Delhi - 110007 for giving them the service center, where by I can assure that none of the staff deployed by this service center have no knowledge about this product, first time when they took our home theater for repairing, they told us that it will be repaired in two days, but it took them 3 months and by then the shape of my Home Theater was changed, and this time also, so called engineer/technician from Manthan Enterprises visited and there is no response either from Service Center OR Philips Customer Care OR Mr. Tomar.
      I have been sick and tired of keeping a follow up with different authorities with no resolution at all.
      COMPANY LIKE PHILIPS IS MAKING FOOL OF ITS CUSTOMER BY SHIPPING FAULTY PRODUCTS IN MARKET AND NOT EVEN TRAINING AND MONITORING SERVICE CENTERS AND THERE TECHNICIANS...........

        It is genuine request , please don't buy any Philips TV, They are not worth of a single rupee, they are liability on you, their service has LESS THAN ZERO points , I bought one LED tv spending Rs.1,30,000 with 2 year warranty, that tv stopped working within few day of arrival after a lots of effort (around 3 months) we got new tv and that tv stopped working after 2 days of arrival and again after LOTS LOTS OF EFFORT (around 4 months) we got new tv as replacement and that new tv dint work for SINGLE MINUTE, when they install it IT WAS NOT WORKING ... and guess one thing they dint pick any of tv from my house all 3 tvs are at my home and just reminding us daily what a BIG MISTAKE we have done by spending Rs.1, 30, 000 and its been more than 1 YEAR still no solution. Every time i call them they said we will let you know next day and NEXT DAY NEVER COME...

          Sir,
          I had bought Philips DVD Player (Model No.- DVP3608) + A Philips 5.1 Channel Speaker (Model no.- DSP2600) From Star CJ Channel. The Device worked pretty well for about 7 days but later on the DVD player started to cause problems, the DVD player hangs a lot. And sometimes the DVD player stops reading DVD's . I Tried contacting the Star cj team regarding my concern but they said we are not responsible for it . Later on i addressed my problem to the Philips customer care, their executive came fixed the device but again after 15 days or so the device has stopped working, Now nobody is ready to listen my cause. I would like you to look forward to this issue and solve this as immediately as possible.

            I Abhaykumar Bamb have lodged a complaint with Philips Customer Care since 2 weeks now for repair of my water filter but unfortunately nobody has come for the repair of the same till date.
            My complaint number is 921823.
            Kindly do the needful as I have a small child in the house and so have to buy drinking water from outside even after having a filter which i cant use.
            Very very unhappy with your services.

Though this is not major problem, but I had thought to get my LCD TV serviced from your service centre. I have accordingly lodged complaints on 31/08/2012 (complaint no PMUM [protected]). After few days, your service engineer Mr. Vijayshankar Rai had come to us for servicing our TV. We had narrated him problem but he was found very non technical as he did not know what is to be done. He told us that he can only perform his services after going picture off. We told him that is not regular problem which is happening some times. It was surprise for me to understand from him that if picture go off, then he would do some R&D, if picture get appeared then work is completed. This was very funny for us we had confirmed that he is having very little technical knowledge and was not safe! to hand over TV to him. WE asked him to send other person since he was not able to repair TV. But he kept us calling on regular basis, after few days he again came to us and we had finally agreed and he had done some minor soldering work on circuit where cable is connected. I could observe and brought to his notice that whatever he was doing was completely irrelevant and not going to solve problem. He had just done some soldering work and finished and started asking money. After unsatisfactory work, I was so reluctant to pay him fees as I was 100% sure that he has done nothing. But since I was dealing with company like Philips and based on this trust I had paid fees of Rs.787/- to him. Immediately after his departure, problem was started coming. I had spoken to him and thereafter contacted to customer care center and complained about service engineer and asked to send another engineer. After this complaints dated 8/9/2012, after one hours I got message from service centr! e saying that complaint has been closed, it was shocking to know that previous complaint was not yet closed and I had again complaint second time and I was receiving this message.
              On the same day, I had again called customer care centre and lodged my grievances about services (no PMUM[protected] dated 8/9/2012). I had specifically told customer care that we don’t want Mr. Rai as engineer and customer care executive had accordingly assured me that they would be sending another engineer. Despite of this I have again received sms saying that Mr. Rai would be visiting for whom I had denied. I think this completely mockery of system.
              Despite of this, today is 15/09/2012, so far your engineer has not come to repair our TV. I don’t know how are you monitoring your services specially TAT (Turn Around Time) and what is your criteria for selection of engineers. How do ensure that right person goes from your appointed service centers who are working on franchise basis.
              Can you tell us what we should do for such services if your non technical engineer comes and take fees without doing anything? I feel it is completely cheating and harassment of customers.
              I would also like to bring your notice he (Mr. Rai) was suggesting us to pay him unofficially Rs. 400/- so that we can save Rs 387/- and we would not inform to Philips service centre. It is really tempting offer they are offering, which may change mind of customer if customer saves 50% amount. But I was not got lured on his offer as I knew that TV would not be repaired from him.
              I have wasted my valuable time for writing such big mail. But it was required i have still got trust on Philips company for best services.
              I am waiting for positive reply for repairing of my TV on time and you would also send person who is actually engineer / technician.

                Sir,
                I bought a Philips home theater system on 18 Aug. 2010. The details are as follows:
                Model no- HTS3265/98
                Serial no- MF2A[protected]
                Dealer- Selfridges (P) LTD, Pallimukku, MG Road, Cochin, 682 016, Ph:[protected],3255200
                I got a complaint with my product and i send it to customer service center @ kochi. After checking they informed me that it was a manufacturing defect with mother board system. My warrenty period was over at that time. Then they send my product to Pune office and inform me that their is a chance for repairing because it is a manufacturing fault. No mistake is made by my hand. Service center officers at kochi also agree with that.
                Today they called me and informed that it will take Rs.3500 to repair that product. While i reffered owner’s manual i saw that; their is free servicing for the products at service centers which cost above $250. Real fact is that i bought this product by taking a loan. I am still paying it’s amount each month. It is a manufacturing defect. I don’t do any thing. My product is still at Pune repairing center. I think you will repair it for a low cost..? or, did i want to take another loan to repair my product..? I am waiting for your reply..

                  Dear Sir,

                  This is for your kind information that I, Saurik Kumar Pyne had purchased a PHILIPS HD4729 RICE COOKER from Great Eastern Trading Co., 15 GT Road Khadinamore, Chinsurah, Hooghly 712101 on 17th July 2012 (Tax cash memo no. 16/1213/05472).

                  I being a layman failed to understand that the product was faulty from the date of purchase itself.

                  Anyway on realizing the same I have given the product at “AUTHORISED PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE” Gondalpara, Chandannagar, Hooghly 712136 on 16th August 2012, Work order no WS12081604 & TILL DATE (20/09/2012) I am yet to receive the set from their end.

                  During these 34 Days a number of false commitments were being delivered from their end but every thing was in blue.

                  In addition to this the owner of the mobile no [protected] (one of the employed person of “AUTHORISED PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE”) frequently keep his number diverted from the CALL DIVERT Option from his mobile set in order which when called replies that “this number do not exists” to escape from the customers grievances giving a mere excuse “Network Problem” .

                  If this becomes the practice of the service center of PHILIPS then how can we keep the confidence on such a renowned company????

                  So I here by request you to replace the product and expect a BETTER JUDGEMENT from your end.

                    Sir,

                    I have bought an LED TV from PHILIPS ARENA in Coimbatore and I have purchased the model - 32PFL 4356 on 22nd August 2012. The same was installed on the same by evening.

                    On 4th September 2012, I have made a complaint to the call centre and the engineer called up on the subsequent day. The following problem was bought to his notice:
                    1) Right hand and left hand side of the panel we could white patches
                    2) It starts with full pink colour while switching on
                    3) There is lot of shake in the picture that we see
                    4) The clarity of the picture is only centered towards the panel and the side of panel is very dull

                    The engineer attended suggested that the unit need to be moved to centre for repairing, I strongly objected to it and demanded replacement as it a defective one. The invoice copy and others has been handed over to the service centre in coimbatore on the same day evening. From 4th till today I couldnt view the Tv and there is no proper response from the Service Engineer and the Service Head.

                    Meanwhile I have also sent a mail to the Philips but again there is no response.

                    Please let know what need to be done for taking us for granted by the above team of people and the company. I request your intervention on the same.

                    It is genuine request, please don't buy any Philips TV, They are not worth of a single rupee, they are liability on you, their service has LESS THAN ZERO points, I bought one LED tv spending Rs.1, 30, 000 with 2 year warranty, that tv stopped working within few day of arrival after a lots of effort (around 3 months) we got new tv and that tv stopped working after 2 days of arrival and again after LOTS LOTS OF EFFORT (around 4 months) we got new tv as replacement and that new tv dint work for SINGLE MINUTE, when they install it IT WAS NOT WORKING ... and guess one thing they dint pick any of tv from my house all 3 tvs are at my home and just reminding us daily what a BIG MISTAKE we have done by spending Rs.1, 30, 000 and its been more than 1 YEAR still no solution. Every time i call them they said we will let you know next day and NEXT DAY NEVER COME yet.

                      Hi,

                      I have purchased Philips HTS 3152 in 2008, repaired in October 2011 because it was not working or had some problem. At the time of repairing service engineer replaced the circuit because they told me that it can't be repaired.

                      Now again its not working and when I checked got shocked that they didn't replaced the circuit but they repaired the old one and installed it.
                      That time they charged me around 1300 for replacing the circuit but they cheated me by installing the repaired circuit.

                      Its a clear case of fraud with the consumers, unfortunately doing by Philips and their service centres.

                      I got service from Philips Service centre

                      So please tell me why not I should registering a formal complain against Philips and service centre in consumer court?

                        I recently purchased a Philips 24 inch LCD Television, currently it is in warranty just 2 month after it purchase it has got the problem .

                        The fluid is leaking in the front of the screen which form a layer on the screen at the top and the bottom for which i registered a complaint on 18 july 2012 with complaint no PTNA [protected] against which your engineer named bhushan Shingh from Golden Electronics attended and photographed the TV set and conveyed us that the set would be replaced in 15 to 20 days however none of them came to replace it .When we try to contact the service number they say that the problem is resolved and has been cancelled from their system which is not being resolved. After that we contacted the care centre in Kalyan for details from there we were informed that the complaint was forwarded to main department from where Mr. shashikant would deliever the Tv set .We then contacted Mr. Shashikant on his cell , he informed us that we would be recieving a new Tv set on 19th of August , on 19th of august he call us and tell us that the problem cannot occur and he would come again to check the set only when he get the time.
                        Well now when we contacted him he says that the Tv set cannot be replaced & we have to bear the cost of panel , he claims that the panel was damaged while wiping the screen , however we have not wiped the screen from the day when it was delievered .
                        This is the case with PHILIPS ELECTRONICS , one should think a lot before purchasing a product of this Brand , can anyone please guide me what should be done with this complaint.

                          I, Deepak Kumar purchase a LCD TV on 1st January 2012, some problem in lcd on 9 august 2012 we register a complaint in customer care our complaint no. is [protected] after two days engineer come and check the lcd and tell us tv tuner card is having problem so, we change the card or repair but after one week no one come for replace or repair. After one week we call in Philips Care and ask how much time taken to resolve the problem. On 22nd august our discussion with mr. chandan (asm) and he tell us in one week we replace tv.                             i have registered the complaint on 27th july 2012, complaint number (891119) and i have not recieve any response till now.
                            due to unpurified water, 2 members of my family get infection.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have faced this problem while repair of My TV from the service centre at Bhopal MP. Nagar.The party repaired the TV and charged RS 1800/and after 3 days the same problem occurred. The propriter taken 2 month time and again about to deliver after charging RS.500/ the TV failed at Service centre it self.The Service centre continue to take time for its repair and finaly after one month concluded that the complete board is required to be replaced.which was not accepted by me and deciede to throw the TV instead of further putting cost in it. .
                              It appears to me that the centre do not deploy and follow a systematic diagnostic method and use of genunie .
                              spare parts.
                              The receptionist deployed are to provide one sided reply and refer to contact propritoer for matter of details.

                              The party has practice to get deposit the complaint voucher while delivery as such do not lend any proof at customer end to facilitat approach Consumer Forum for reddressal. The same is also reported to Philips Customer Care who insists of providing proof to take leagal action.
                              The propriter offered Rs. 3500/ as scap value of the TV and issued a self checckRs. 3000/ which could not be encashed since last two month.It appears that this arrangment helps service centre to get spare part needed from the party.

                              It appears that the centre is totaly mismanaged and Philips India is getting a bad name due to this but no action taken so far despite of informing earlier.
                              While standing at centre I heard customer leaving the things to GOD to restore improvement in service at Philips Service centre at Bopal
                              Bhopal customers be aware of this state of affair before approaching to the centre.

                              philips c t v — service contract renewal

                              We have purchased a Philips c t v in the above mentioned date. We have sent a detailed complaint to your company to officer in charge.ctv marketting, Phillips India pvt ltd, techno polis knowledge park, mumbai on 9-12-09. We had service contract from 2003 to 17-10-09. The service contract has expired on 17-10-09.we have paid money for service contract on[protected] to authorised service centre,mysore,cash receipt no no 266 dt[protected] for Rs 590.The amount accepted by Mysore service station for renewing service contract for one yr from the date of materialisation.(Xerox copy enclosed with my detailed complaint dated 9-12-09)
                              2. In this concern, I would like to furnish in brief, the following facts for your immediate remedial action please:
                              a)I had regularly serviced the above TV under the service contract for the yrs for the yrs 2004 to 2009, The latest expired on 17-10-09.All these yrs the Mysore service station deputed their service contract card, duly collecting the required amount. On the same day they also attended to the servicing of the act.
                              b) After expiring of the present contract on 17-10-09,I approached Mysore service station on 7-11-09 on phone and requested them to send the service engineer for the renewal of contract for 2009-10. I was informed that due to computerisation of all transactions by the company itself. As such I was asked to meet them in person for needful.
                              c)I first met them in person on 10 nov 09 with the previous yr contract card. the person in charge informed me that he will send my request to the company on the same day over the computer and I will directly get the message from the company within 2-3 days.
                              d) As this didn't happen, I again rung up to the Mysore station on[protected]. The lady, who received the phone informed that she will contact me after receipt of acceptance from the company and I waited till 22 nov 09, but did not receive any message.
                              e) On 23rd nov 2009, I once again contacted the service station in person, on that day, they collected from me Rs 590 the amount for renewal of service contract vide their receipt no 266 of 23 nov 09, mentioned in Para 1 b) above, they asked me to wait for 8 days. I waited up to 2 dec 03, nothing happened.
                              f) I once again met them in person, on 03 dec 09 and asked the progress. The lady clerk intimated that nothing has been received from the company and asked me to wait for further 8 days. By that time the T V developed low volume, I requested her to send service engineer with renewed card to attend the repair, as I have already approached them in person 3 times without any result, I am aged 75 yrs and suffering from acute nerves problems in my head and not in a position to travel 25-20 km from my house by changing two buses in both direction.
                              g) The service engineer was deputed on 7 dec 09 , to attend to the complaint did not under take the work because I was not having the renewed card, and only have the receipt for Rs 590. Paid by me on 23 nov 09 for renewal of contract, meanwhile , I sent a detailed complaint to you on 09-12-09 together with Xerox copies of the receipt and the bill for purchase of T V.
                              h) I once again waited up to Thursday the 17 dec 09 and rang up to the Mysore station to know progress the lady received the phone intimated that the office in charge is not in station and she can only inform me after his return to the service station.
                              i) thus, for this simple transaction as was done ,all these years, I have constantly been fooled by them over a month. I do not know when this ordeal will end. I request you sir to give me relief immediately, and help me out. The detailed complaint had already been sent to you on 09 -12 -09 . But no reply hither to.

                              Hither to progress has been made by Mysore service station to renew my repair contract, in spite of receiving Rs 590. Vide their receipt no 266. On 23 nov 09
                              a similar detailed report has already been posted to your sales and service dept on 09-12-09 hither to no action has been taken by them
                              please do the immediate needful.

                                I had bought 4 Philips CFL bulbs of 15 watt, 2 year back, all of them went down one after the other in a span of one and half year...
                                My concern is if the life span of a CFL bulb is just 12-18 month why invest of Rs 100, instead of Rs 10 for an ordinary bulb...
                                Since the warranty was only for an year, i'm not getting replacement, either, such a waste...
                                no sir, they are all guarentteed for one year - the shop keeper will write on the bulb & will give you. collect also the bill . One word of caution - insist a distinct mark of the shop. Eg I bought from - say ---- mahalakshmi electrical. . When I gave him the fused one - he says this is not from this store - - but from some other Mahalakshmi electrical.

                                  I have purchase a Philips GoGear RAGA 4GB mp3 player on 16th of August,2012.on 17th I have loaded some songs from my computer which occupied around 3.5 GB out of 4GB size of the Mp3 player.Very frequently it hangs up and even I can not shut down it so as a result when the battery drains out then only it is off .I also have to press "RESET" button after ending any song though it is not desirable and quite a chance is there of removing all memory of music loaded in it.I habe made the complain to the shop from where I purchased it and the have done the same thing as I did only pressing the RESET button they said that it is working so they rare not willing to change it. What should I do?

                                    Phillips work order no.[protected]

                                    I purchased a sound system on 09.09.2011 . It never worked. I misplaced the bill which i found later and complained to Phillips on 09.06.12. The Lajpat nagar service centre collected it from my place on 14.06.12 after various reminders.The piece was sent back on 23.06.12 and was found to be defective again, so they took it back.Then on 07.07.12, some Mr. chetan called and said that the speaker is beyond repair and this needs to be replaced.Since then I have been calling the Phillips call centre repeatedly but no action is being taken.

                                    Through this forum, I demand stiff action against Phillips for all the harassment and negligent service.

                                        I've given my Philips Blu Ray player for service on 11th July 2012 to Philips Authorized service center in Adyar, Chennai. My player is in Warranty period. Below are the details of the service center and work order number,

                                        Address of the service center : Authorized Philips service center, M/s Clarity Electronics Adayar, No. 13, second main road, Kasthuribai gandhi nagar, Adayar, Chennai - 600 020.

                                        Work order no. : [protected]
                                        Date : 11/07/2012

                                        After following up continuously, they said the spare parts has not been arrived from Pune for almost 3 weeks. Later they said the order has been cancelled and placed a fresh order to get the spare parts. When I called last friday (17th Aug, 2012), they said the parts has been arrived and they need 1 day time to verify the system. When I called yesterday (21st Aug, 2012), they said the spare part had some issue with video output hence they placed an order again.

                                        I've lots of Philips product at my home. I regret to have them now. I really pizzed off with the way the service center is responding.

                                        Since my product is in warranty, I would like to get a replaced for the player with a brand new one. Please help me on this.

                                        I've attached the service letter here for your reference.
