On complaining for a sudden no audio/video output, in our 42"Full HD LCD TV, to BIMOS ELECTRONICS, 143,GANDHI ADIKAL STREET, OPP-SRG KALYANA MANDAPAM, KUMBAKOANAM, TAMILNADU - 612001, a Philips authorized serviced center, given in Philips pamphlet, a serviceman -BALAJE was sent a week after complaint, in January.. He diagnozed that the capacitor had burnt, and came back with the spare, 3 months later, on March 11th.after repeated calls. But even after he changed the board there was no audio, for which he laid down the tv on its front. He switched on the tv 1st there was no audio, again he laid down the TV in the same position, thrice. But still there was no audio. The 4th time he laid down, checked the board and put it straight, there was a huge crack on the screen. When we asked for explanation, he dodged saying that he would return the next day but there was no response, and he never picked up the fone till today. He says the crack was already there. If according to him, the crack had been there, already, then why had he to change the board? If the panel had cracked, he would have changed only the panel and not the power board. Moreover how can the LCD PANEL crack, if the capacitor gets burnt? YOUR SERVICEMAN IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE, BUT HE IS REFUSING TO ACCEPT IT. I had talked to one Mr.Prasanna, who is the zonal manager, Tamilnadu. But he too is not able to help as the technician had refused to him too. MY QUESTION IS IF THE PANEL HAD ALREADY CRACKED, HE WOULD TOLD US, AND WOULD HAVE SUGGESTED FOR THE NECESSARY REPAIR. BUT HE SAID THAT THE POWER BOARD WAS TO BE CHANGED, AND CHANGED THE SAME, AND IN THE PROCESS HE HAD BROKEN THE DISPLAY, WHICH HE REFUSES. I HAVE THE CONCERNED BILL FOR THE BOARD,FOR RS. 5340, HE GAVE. THE CONCERNED AUTHORITY MUST TAKE NECESSARY ACTION ON THE SERVICEMAN BALAJE AND SHOULD GET ME THE COMPENSATION FROM HIM FOR THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. HIS PHONE NUMBER IS [protected].

Philips — Authorized service center is not able to service
My system [ Philips Mini Hi-Fi System FW D 550/21M] started having problem with wrong/different /junk characters in Dispaly track mode. After that system halted and whenever sytem is powered on All LED glows and nothing seems to be happening.Even all the buttons/switches are non functional. I had given my system to 4 philips authorized service center but after a long long wait, (at least each service center took 3-4 months)they refused to make it functional. Though system is out of warranty, am ready to pay the repair cost but of no avail. Please help/guide me to get it functional. Awating your response.
