Complaint against service given by Philips….

MY DEAR INDIANS,
I AM A CUSTOMER OF PHILIPS.
IN THE YR 2004 MAY, I PURCHASED A PHILIPS TV [ 29PT ]] IN MANGALORE….
IT WAS SUPERB AND PERFORMANCE WAS EXCELLENT.. NO DOUBT… IN THE YR 2009 OCTOBER , DUE TO THUNDER, OUR TV GOT SPOILED.. WE CONTACTED PHILIPS SERVICE CENTRE [AUDIO VIDEO ELECTRONICS NEAR KANKANADY , MANGALORE ].
THEY REPAIRED AND GAVE A BILL OF RS.2050.
NO PROBLEM. OUR FAVOURITE TV BCAME ALRITE. WE WERE HAPPY…
AFTER A MONTH OF REPAIR,
HISSING SOUND WAS COMING FRM TV INSIDE… AGAIN AND AGAIN IT WAS COMNG . ONE DAY L.O.T. GONE. THEY CAME ND FIXD NEW LOT… CHARGED RS.1600. AFTR FIXING ALSO HISSING SOUND WAS COMNG… WE INNFRMD THEM. FRM THEN THEY R NOT RESPONDNG OUR CALLS. SO WE CALLD A PRIVATE TECHNICIAN TO PUT A PATCH TO A SPOT FRM WHERE SPARK WAS COMNG.
NOW OUR TV IS DEAD ND WE CALLED THEM AGAIN… THEY ARE NOT RESPONDNG..

FRM THE DAY WE GAVE OUR TV FOR ‘REPAIR’ WE ARE UNDER PROBLEM…..

ACTUALLY, after the 1st repair ,WHEN THEY CONNECTD L.O.T TO THE BACK OF SCREEN THEY MADE A MISTAKE.
FRM THEN ‘’HISSING’’ NOISE WAS COMNG…. AUTHORISED DEALERS NEGLECTD OUR CALL. NOW OUR FAVOURITE TV IS ‘DEAD;…
WE DON’T LIKE LCD , LED TV’S .
MY QUESTION IS........ ‘’HAVE WE MADE A GREAT MISTAKE BY PURCHASING PHILIPS/?????

I had booked a Head phone from India Plaza online shopping.Its is supposed to be shipped within a week. But even after one and half months the material is not delivered to me. Since I had faith on INDIAPLAZA I had paid the money also. But till now material is not delivered. ITS A ONLINE FRAUD THEY ARE IN. Friends be careful with Indiaplaza.

    Respected Sir/ Mam,
    I Purchased a Philips DVD Player on 6/9/11 Having order number 70634 has stopped working from last 15 days i had complained about the same telephonic-ally but not received any satisfying response from them. Please let me know how it can be corrected . shall i send it back on chennai office.I am very upset with the product performance as well as response from customer care side no customer hearing.Do reply soon. As my day is affected without my favorite music.

      Hello,


      I have purchased a Philips LED 32” TV Model No. 32PFL4355/V7 dated 28th Aug 2011 vide invoice # DA/BT/408 from “Girias Investment P Ltd”, BannerGhatta Road Showroom, Bangalore, Karnataka.

      Since the day I brought this TV I am facing the problem in its picture quality. The picture is getting blur and sharp in every 3 seconds. So when we are watching some news channle or movie a face can be seen for a sec with clean shaved and 3rd second it looks with very slight shave. I mentioned and written same in the customer satisfaction paper the person came to install the TV.


      Later after 15 days another technician came and checked the TV and said there is some problem with the quality and he will write a report to company and get back to me. After 15-20 days I approached to him and he said he has already sent report to company and company people would contact me.

      Looking there is no other way I made a complaint using their tool free number on 22nd Oct. Comp no. PBLR[protected]. After seven – eight days another technician visited to my residence and then he mentioned the TV has to be taken to the service center for further diagnostic.

      After a week or so they took my TV set on 7th Nov. Next day when I inquired about TV they said they are testing and let me know by evening. No call came till evening then next day I called number of times to the service center and ultimately I got a response from service center that there is no problem in TV and it is working fine at our end. They sent me TV back on 10th Nov stating that one technician would visit to your home and he will show the correct reception with HDMI.

      Since that day I am waiting for the technician but no one has come to visit my house. Since I have Tata Sky DTH so I don’t think there is any problem with cable and also I can see the same problem while watching DVD using HDMI or Pen Drive so I have no clue why the technician telling that issue is with cable.

      I have made another complain dtd 12th Nov. PBLR[protected] to this regards. It is almost 2 & half months became to this TV set, and I have reported the problem to every technician who visited to my home still my problem is not solved. I called to Philips customer care many times but every time they say today the technician would visit to home.

      I requested to replace my tv but no reply from their side. I am really pissed off with the services Philips india is providing to its customer. I request every consumer who is planning to buy philips, just read this feedback and then decide it is really worth to trust this company. For authenticity of this feedback please check the above complain ref no. with their customer care no.

      Hope my experience would save some other consumer from a careless without sense and without simplicity company.

      I am planning to file a consumer forum complaint against them to replace my TV and once i would do that i would update about it on all possible consumer supporting sites.

        Sorry to express my feeling to you
        I, Vijay Jaiswal [protected], Hari Ram Hostel D.A.V Sr. Sec. School Sector 8-c Chandigarh 160009.
        I, have registered a Home Theater 5.1 Philips on 10 Oct 2011. by seeing you advertisement on your Chanel i.e Star cj in that what you have shown to the public I'll try to visualised the same to you.
        You have kept the DVD just in font with the two Small speaker and one buffer and other two just behind the back side of the person, when I, have received home theater on the style I have tried but I failed to do so because the wire is to short, I am an able to adjust the set as you have shown on the programme. same I reported to your staff so many time . On 24 Oct spicily I talk to Mr. Pawan Sr. Staff he has arranged the conference with technical member he has understood my problem and assured me that either for replacement with the ex tented wire what I want or if it will not possible than refund will be made ( you can check with your recording even) . On 16Nov when I received the speaker I was surprise to see that their was no change in the product. Immediate called on [protected] but this time the flatly refused. Even Philips engineer came to for demonstrate they told me that it is impossible as per what you have seen on the Star cj.Now you suggest What I'll do.One more thing I must add in it On every call your staff were saying I have arranged the call from my senior you will get the call with 24 hrs./ 48 Hrs. only once I have received call from your end., if this is the behavior from your side how you can justify your customer. Now I am not having any choice of my personal other the legal advice,.

            The PHILIPS LCD TV - 24PFL4505 was brought from BLESSINGS (A unit of Kay Dee Audiovisions (P) Ltd) on November 5, 2010. This TV had developed a major problem within one week of its installation due to which it had to be replaced by Philips. it took almost a month.

            Now on 16th October 2011, the LCD TV again developed problem which was reported to Philips through their Call centre. The Call Complaint No. is PGZB[protected].

            The Service Engineer has visited and informed us that a part will need to be changed. I have since been following up with the Service Centre in Noida, but till date no part has been made available by Philips.

            So much for a multinational company as Philips.

                  To Whom so ever it may concern,

                  We bought a Philips home theater system ( Model : HTS : 5530 ) from Sheetal appliances Ghaziabad on 22.10.11.
                  We then called the customer care no i.e [protected] to request the installation ( REFERENCE NUMBER : 693434 )of the same and we were advised that a technician would visit and install the product and give us the demo.

                  On 25th October 2011 , a technician from Hi-Tech Service Center called us at around 3:00 PM saying that he is in Gandhi Nagar and would reach our home in no more than 30 minutes. Being a festive evening, we kept waiting for him for all that evening and called him on the same number that he called us from but he neither picked up the call or came for installation.

                  Since then we have been calling the customer care number but there has been no resolution our problem. And now the customer care executives know me by name and now when I call them they put me on hold for infinite time and then they disconnect the call.

                  Is buying a PHILIPS product a sin and are we being punished for the same !!!!

                  If the company can’t even install the product the product than what after sales services can one expect from them !!!

                  Today I took an off from my office to get this problem resolved but it doesn’t seem like getting solved ever !!!

                    I HAD PURCHASED PHILIPS AUDIO SYSTEM FROM RAIPUR ONBILL NO 6538 DATED 2/5/2002 HAVING INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY NO. EARLIER ON MANY OCCASSION I HAD TO SEND FOR REPAIR THE SET BUT THE COMPLAINT DIDNT GOT RESOLVED INSTEAD OF PAYING HUGE SERVICE CHARGES FOR THE SAME .

                      Hi,

                      I had purchased Philips LED 32PFL5356 from star CJ on 1st of October 2011 and received the product on 11th October.

                      I had called up the customer care center the same day(11th october) and was assured that the TV will be installed within 48 Hrs, However as of today i have not received any call from any of the Philips center, iam now getting worried if i have made the right choice.

                      Can you please take up the issue with the Philips center.

                      hey i want to buy that 1 too...is the tv any good??...how much on cj alive...???????????
                      You can go for it!!! Pretty good picture quality although the quality of the plastics cant be matched with samsung D325000(this is really cool) however the picture quality is in the same league as of the samsung 32D500 which is 8000 bugs more. Sound quality too sucks but need not worry since star CJ is providing Boston sound bar for free.

                        I have paid on7th May 2011 advance amounting fifty percent of the cost of two plastic parts to the authorIsed Phillips service centre, Jayati Enterprise in Vadodara.It is four months and numerous phone calls to the service centre as well as toll free no of Phillips as well as calls to the local rep of Phillips but all negative response and it is frustrating.Soon I will not be able to use the product.It is a grooming kit QG 3190/00. E mails to Phillips also have not helped as all they do is acknowledge the receipt.Please help me to take these people to task.

                            I had purchased a television in 2000 from Philips India , the model is Cinema Surround-Power Vision at a very high price of Rs.19900. Recently the remote of the televison has gone out of order. I called up Customer care and registered the complaint. I also visited your local services centre i.e Electronics Hospital at Agra but to my surprise and shock they told me that Philips has stopped manufacturing and selling the Television and infact sold the business to videocon. Again I called the CC on 27/08/11, 28/08/11 and on 29/8/11. But really it was adding insult to injury as again and again I got the same reply that we will call you back tomorrow. This is the kind of service level that Philips India is maintaining where they dont have any kind of control over the services centre and Customer Care. Even a footpath vendor is a better businessman than Philips India.
                            Also on the website there is no contact number of Philips India is provide except the customer care which is a useless body, and no address of the company's office is given. I need a replacement of my remote, dont know what to do.
                            Who so ever read this, please dont go for any philips product else you are wasting your money.

                              MODEL NO 32PFL3403/94

                              We got this LCD as a gift from some friends,it was working fine for first 6 months after that there was a problem in the power supply board. We got it repaired from an authorized service center of Philips in our city,he had replaced some MOSFETS and resistors supposedly for 2500 Rs.
                              After getting it repaired, the LCD dint even work for an hour and now again the LCD's power supply board has a problem the service center people say its because of voltage fluctuations I cant understand that if the product cant handle power supply plugged in for half an hour also then what repair has been done, or rather what kind of products Philips is selling.
                              Hoping for a reply ASAP.

                                India is filld wid corruption, evryone knows... Above service centre charging a lllllotttt from custemers as if..

                                We made great mistake in purchasing philips...

                                I had a similar experience with the same Service Centre. When I went there with my newly bought DSP30U Speakers, one customer, his name was Mr M H Nayak, a person who was on his visit to India from UAE, was already shouting at the reception about poor service. Still I had to leave my item for their inspection. The lady told me that the replacement of IC (which I supplied them myself) would take one day and I can collect the item on the second day. But, I have been calling them again and again since three days and nobody has attended my item left with them. The receptionist transfers the call to a male person who always says that the technician is not available at the moment. Though the time they have mentioned on board as 9.30 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 6.30, you hardly find any technician in the premises. It appears that some part time technician or an out-sourced person is attending to customer complaints. This must be the reason for heavy charges. Why the company is silent about this flaw?

                                  This is a complaint against authorised philips service center - kalyan name:golden electronics.

                                  My philips dvd has been given for repairing on 09.07.2011 - despite of repeated followup with proprietor, thru mails and thru customer care they have not responded in time and service center trying to grab more money from me by stating fault with the dvd main pcb.

                                  Please find enclosed herewith details of follow up done by me with the proprietor and thereafter i had sent final letter to him for clarification.

                                  I would like to know which exact part is required to repair my dvd.

                                  1. why you had not given me work order number when i handed over dvd at your service center for
                                  Repairing? is there any restriction laid by philips on authorized service centers like you, to adhere
                                  And implement policies and guidelines laid down by philips for giving better services to the customers?

                                  2. the reason for calling you for servicing was the disc tray was locked and it is not working
                                  Properly.

                                  3. when first time i had lodged complaint telephonically and your service engineer visited my residence,
                                  He told me that due to failure of ic the trey is not working and need to change the ic. during his
                                  Inspection neither he had noticed / found any other problem with dvd nor he has update us anything
                                  About main pcb. also the job sheet prepared by him is self explainery stating that set in disc mode and nothing else.

                                  3. dvd given to you on 09.07.2011 thereafter despite of repeated follow up thru telephones, mail s and
                                  Philips authorized call centers neither you nor philips bothered to give proper feedback about my
                                  Aid machine, you both have failed to inform me exact problem with the dvd and cost for repair till
                                  19.08.2011?

                                  3. i had been sent you five reminder mails and informed you that dvd required very urgently as we
                                  Had family function on 15.08.2011 though you have not bothered to inform status of the product.

                                  4. after 1 ½ month you are stating that the problem is with main pcb and repairing cost will be
                                  Rs.5651/-

                                  5. it is surprise that how this main pcb problem has arise after 1 ½ month? why you had not informed
                                  Me earlier when you had noticed it and why after one and half month?

                                  6. your action is doubtful, suspicious. i feel, you are doing all acts purposely to gain maximum money
                                  From me.

                                  The problem was just with the disc trey and not else. the quoted amount is very high and i don’t believe on your quote.

                                  Further, as marketing strategy philips has neither left any option to customers to collaborate another dvd with existing speakers nor same dvd model is available in the market.

                                  Being an authorized dealer you have failed to give the proper services to the customer and your act has lead to made harassment for no faults of me by quoting irrelevant fault of the machine and quoting wrong price for services.

                                  Therefore you have called upon to explain me within seven days from date of this notice, why not to initiate legal action against you for harassment and wasting of my time, failing which i shall proceed to lodge the complaint against you and same shall be entirely at your own risk as to all costs and consequences which may please be noted.

                                  Philips/ DVDR — Not returning my product which was given for repair

                                  I had given my DVDR 3570H for repair ( under warrenty ) on 06/01/2009 to Philips authorise service center M/S Gaurav Enterprise A/6 commercial complex Sankar Garden, Vikas Puri New Delhi 110018.After keeping the set for nearly one month ( after repeative visit to them ) they informed me that one part is not available with company hence set cannot be repaired and they are ready to provide me an alternate set. As silimiler product was not available with company ( product was available with one of the dealer ) they offered me home theater system of my choice, as the set which was given for repair was totally different from what they were offeing me, I was reluctant to have it. But as I could feel I had no choice I was ready to have Home theater syatem. On second week of feb 2009 I gave Service center product no HTC3366 which i wanted . They informed me Product will be available within one week . after one week they informed me product was available with them and I can collect it . When i went to collect it it was not the product which i had demanded so i refused to take it . I was told it will take another week to get the product . Till date they have not given me the product. Please look into it and help me to get the product or my money back.

                                    I had purchase philips water purifier on march 2011 which have two years guarranty period. but after three months i found that this product is total out of order & not working properly. i had registered this complain on 25-6-11 at the philips customer care services they suggest to go to the service centre of philips at dehradun for the servicing of that purifier from past two months that in the service centre but they didn't take any satisfied action against my complain whenever i call the customer care & their service center they didn't listen to me & about my complain......now please tell me what should i do????????

                                      Bought new Philips DVD player, DVD player, in warranty period itself had lot more problem later they extended warranty period for 3 months from warranty. Later due to repeated issue I took AMC for the DVD, even I had same frequent issues then they given new DVD player replacement for that. But that too not working properly. I given complaint on 09-August-2011 but as on date 18-August-2011 no one attended the complaint and no one made any call.

                                      Please guide me on this, what I have to do next in this case.

                                      Iam Mr.K.Jair i have given my Philip's DVD Player MLD129/98 KN[protected]. for servicing on 31 December 2008 at Maredpalli Phiplip's Service Center Owned by Mr.Prem Kumar who's Mobile number is: [protected]. Contuiesly on a daily bases i have been calling the servicing center and there is no proper response and they have not rectfyed my DVD Problem. and two years has passes away since then no clarification and they are not willing to give back my DVD Player. hence i kindly request your kind office to look into the matter and do justice by getting my DVD set back to me. for which act i will be greatful

                                        LCD TV purchased from Kohinoor electronics, kandivali in May, 2011. The TV started giving problem from 1 month and the problem is repeated every 10 days inspite of being repaired by Philips engineer each time. The quality of service engineer is very bad. He just removes the TV from the wall mount and shakes it n puts it back and the TV starts working. Again after 10 days the same problem is repeated and the engineer does the innovative repair.

                                        The Philips LCD TV sold by Kohinoor electronics is defective and hence the cost paid should be refunded

                                        Philips India Limited — Regarding the working of Music System

                                        Sir, My Philips FW V- 39 VCD MIni HIFI System stopped working suddenly. When I contacted company I was given cold reply that this Model is too old which can not be repaired ( vide thier E mail reply no.[protected]@philips-customercare. dated 22/03/2010.
                                        Company is not reday to repair or replace my music system
                                        its the same with me, when i gave my system for repair in video, they have spoiled whole unit when the other things in the system were working, regret for giving it to them, useless guys in philips dont know how to handle it, this happened in chennai - viswanath
