I happened to browse policy bazaar website for some policies and because they have made it a rule to ask for phone numbers without which the policies are not revealed.
Now i have been getting calls every single day since one and half month ago. For the first one week, i would ask the caller to please put me in their do not call list and they always politely would say that they would. But the very next day, i'd get at least two more calls.
For the last three weeks now, i get a call from policy bazaar (Courtesy true caller) and the call is dropped the moment i pick it up. Or i say hello for two-three times and then the call gets dropped.
I have resorted to blocking all their numbers but still keep getting calls. I think what they're trying to do place the calls even if customer has requested a dnc so that they can show their bosses that they did their day's worth of work.

I am fed up and tired of these calls from policy bazaar. This is highly unethical on the part of policy bazaar.

    In my bank the amount was debited but still now i didn't get any soft copy for my said policy

      Policy bazaar executive misguided me regarding charges of Bajaj policy and book me the policy, after getting details from Bajaj, I have immediately asked that I dont want to proceed and want refund, however after so many requests they didnt accept and asking me to provide the documents to issue a policy.
      Attached screen shot for policy bazaar account which details of the show the booking ID[protected]and reference number ([protected]), I had paid 10000 rs on[protected] and still waiting for refund.
      I have send the 4 mail to them for cancellation, they have called me 2 times and pushing me to accept the policy, I told them that I dont want to proceed but still no result.
      Before booking the policy I have updated that I am a NRI and provided them my abroad number, but every they are calling my India number and sending mails that I am not reachable
      Highly unprofessional behaviour.

        I have taken car insurance policy thru Policybazaar during 3rd week of May. While speaking with the executive(Kamindra, pw03725) during the online payment process I mentioned him that the car variant is not mentioned correctly. Still he insisted me that it is proper and would not matter much. So after doing the payment I thought I might face issues while claiming. I have been mailing them and calling since 21 st May to just change the variant to proper one. But there hasn't been any updates done yet in my online policy. Only reply that I get on the follow up mail is "We would like to apprise you that we are in constant touch with the Insurer to have your query resolved on priority. We shall share an update with you by MM/DD/YYYY.

        We understand that the complete process is taking longer than expected; we appreciate your patience in the interim."

        This has been their reply since 2 months. So it seems Policybazaar itself cannot approach any insurance policy companies. Probably they show a huge list of insurance policy's but it seems they don't have their contacts to approach for any claim.

        Before renewing your insurance thru them do think that they are not able to update any of your incorrect details in policy than how will they help you in passing your claim.

        THINK OVER IT! I have suffered a lot and still suffering, so don't fall in this trap of getting your insurance policy renewed thru them.

        I hope i would get the reply by this year or atleast my policy details are changed this year. In case it happens by next year than don't waste time in doing so. Since next year definitely I won't need your so much fast service.

          Hi,

          I am raising this complaint about the unprofessional behavior of policy bazaar.

          On 17th may 2019 an agent we have paid for a car insurance policy from policybazar. An agent just shared a payment link and we paid via online payment gateway. After successful transaction we received a copy of the policy and to our shock we saw all the relevant details - registration no, chassis no and engine no mentioned are incorrect. We have immediately informed that agent but he wasn't responding so we reached out to customer service and after almost 2 weeks they have replied that this information can't be changed.
          I have attached relevant documents.

          We are seeking your assistance to expedite resolution of this issue so that we can get the policy document with the right data.

            Before i bought the policy i had told deepak that i am located in kolkata and i had asked him a couple of times whether i can use the cashless opd facility in kolkata.

            To that he had confirmed me repeatedly that i would be able to avail the cashless opd facility in kolkata as well.

            Today i had called up religare support today and to my surprise they said that the cashless opd facility is not available in kolkata.

            Now i have taken the policy for 3 years, and for the cashless opd facility, i am paying rs.10, 000 per year.

            Its highly disappointing to land in a situation like this.

            Please call me and have a way to get this rs.30, 000 back.

            Not at all a good customer service... And especially when you take the money in advance.

            It takes lot of time to gain a customer's trust.

            Please have it sorted asap.

              I have already done medical, but pterm policy not issued from tata aia company. I have call from policy bazar customer care but call was ringing only one time after that received mail on my registered mail, your number is not reachable.                 Even after requesting not to call they continuously calling me daily from one or the another department and claiming that their department haven't called me.
                My mistake was just i gone through the website. The call center person was calling me continuously even after i asked him not to call back. He have done intentionally and spoiled my sunday. How can he call the very next moment when i am requesting him not to cal back? And the way he was talking felt like was irritating me intentionally. And how can they call on sundays? Holiday?
                I could not even find a options of complaints rather than sales and service toll numbers.

                  I bought a two wheeler policy on 19 june 2019 of new india insurance from policy baazar online but due to some mistake i cancelled it next day... And when i requested for cancellation policy bazaar said to buy an another one so i bought an another policy for same two wheeler from policy bazaar but they ask for 15 days for return than they asked for wait till 16 july but still i got a mail today that wait till 28 july 2019 for update...

                    I was provided fake promise from policy bazaar (employee Daya Shankar Yadav(PW13922)) that if i cancel my policy within the freelook period..ie, 30 days from policy issuance...my entire premium paid will be refunded. Only due of that i had accepted the policy and payed for it. Now i got only 1684 refunded out of 7931 and i want my full money back. I see this is one of the modus operandi followed by policy bazaar to make customers apply for policy without a second thought since we have 30 days of time to cancel it.
                    Cheating indian middleclass for your own wealth that too on a life insurance is one of the cheapest way to make a living. I need the entire money i paid back. Policy number: C[protected]. Customer ID: 23586717

                      Hi,

                      Policy bazaar has been a torture for a few years now. If i google something and if i accidentally land into the policybazaar website, then i am in for an overflow of calls that i browsed a website..

                      Other policy sites like icici prudential, lic, sbi etc, get a consent from the person interested and then call only the people who have provided the details..

                      These torturous calls from policybazaar are so irritating.. Can this be highlighted wherever applicable and have an effective way to do business

                        I got my car insured through policy bazaar with the company new india assurance. It was clearly mentioned on their website that it is a cashless policy and the claims are guaranteed to be settled within 72 hours. My car met with an accident and i got the car repaired from the agency and i was refused cashless claim from the insurer company. I paid for the repair. After giving the insurance company my cancelled cheque and car repair bill i get to hear that the reimbursement would take atleast 7-8 days. This is not the kind of service i expected from policy bazaar. I am never going to deal with them again. I might as well cancel the term insurance plan i was buying for my mother through them.

                          Unfortunately I visited Policy bazaar and went through the website for sometime. After that I recieved numerous calls abd sms from the sites. I conveyed that I dont want calls or smsm from them and then too the guys are spamming me with SMS and call every now and then after I visited their website. I want to delete my account and to stop policy bazaar from calling me.

                            Hi team,

                            I have purchased a (International) travel insurance for my father in law but still the policy document is not issued. I have verified my inbox and spam email but nothing received so far.

                            I tried chasing on chat but since its automated chat, i am not getting the expected response. Also i tried scheduling the call for the same but its not working either.

                            Their travel is planned for tomorrow (12/07) so can you please expedite the same and send an email?

                            I took a healthy insurance from policy bazaar and their executive filled incorrect details and my policy got cancelled. Waste of money. I tried to contact them several times but no response. They just want to sell policy. Once sold they will not hear anything. No response even after complaining several times over phone and written mails
                            In reference of my term insurance application no 72778555 dated[protected]. Refund has been processed on dated[protected] Bt till date I didn't receive it. I tried to contact on [protected] Bt no result. So I request you to complete the refund process in reference of said application and thank you

                                After calling repeatedly so many times, i have not got any single reply from policy bazar on the car insurance issued to me.

                                I have attached the policy with this email. I want to raise complaint against policy bazar company and their rude behavior.

                                The employee called atanu who was in touch has provided in correct information.

                                The policy provided has incorrect mobile number. This is frustrating.

                                Please note that i have bene repeatedly informing policy bazar that the policy has incorrect mobile number.

                                My mobile number is [protected], however you have not corrected it.

                                Mr atanu from ;policy bazar has promised that i will be issued correct policy however he never picks phone also i have not received the call back even.

                                In case i still do not get reply i will raise complaint for this against fraud and in local police station in gurgaon.

                                  I have booked a TATA AIA Life - Tata AIA Life SampoornaRaksha from policy bazar, but due to financial crisis made a decision to cancel the term plan, which i updated /informed to Policy Bazaar through they online facility to cancel the term insurance, I repeatedly inquired about the refund status but till now policy bazar/TATA AIA Life has not made any steps to refund the amount

                                  I contacted TATA AIA customer care, they asked me to update the NEFT details along with a cancelled cheque, Amount was refunded via net banking . Thank you PolicyBazar and TATA AIA, for resolving the issue and for the extended support, I have received the refund amount

                                  I have even tried to unsubscribe from their site however they are not allowing unsubsribing button for SMS, Calls and Emails.

                                  I am not able to disable the said buttons.

                                    I logged a claim intimation on friday 05/07/19. Sent all photos, videos and filled all forms.

                                    Kept chasing for feedback. Got approval yesterday which is almost 4 days later. It was a partial approval of the scratch. Strangely the big dent clearly seen in all photos was completely ignored and refused by insurer. I keep calling policy bazaar asking them to schedule an on-site survey but policy bazaar refusing to honour that request. Moreover i am promised call backs after 30mins to 1 hour. But it never happens.
                                    They are only interested in selling the policy and not concerned about providing after sales services.

                                      Hi team,

                                      I am writing reg my pending car insurance claim, which is in pending status since 6-7 months no progress has been made except the new queries and commitments. You can refer the email with the above subject line which is floating from long time between policy bazaar (Dhananjoy ghosh - claim department and national insurance company & me).

                                      We had submitted a claim for my car accident, in the month of dec 2018.
                                      At the very initial stage there was a fault from policy bazaar side, we waited for the claim amount for 3 months, when there was no progress after submitting the claim documents, when we contacted national insurance company they came up with the reason saying that the documents were not shared by policy bazaar with them. Means for 3 months the documents (Images of car & video was with policy bazaar only).

                                      Still the claim is not yet cleared even after multiple follow ups, every time there is a new query from national insurance side. This time there was a discrepancy in claim form dates, while filling the form date was entered wrongly. So for that insurance company has asked for clarification we already submitted the written clarification still no update since 15-20 days. This is very pathetic situation where the customer is suffering because of carelessness of others.

                                      Request you to kindly look into this and help us to get the claim amount.
