Refund of rejected insurance proposal

I had submitted a proposal for a Health Insurance plan through Policy Bazaar with Cigna. My brother - Ranjan Anand was the proposer; however, I was purchasing the policy on his behalf.

The proposal got rejected by the insurance provider and today i got a call from the customer care of Policy Bazaar that i need to provide bank details of my brother - Ranjan Anand, whereas I - Kapil Anand had paid for the proposal.

This is height of my patience as I paid policy bazaar on 8th Jan but still on 25thJan my car insurance policy is still not received with unknown reason.now I will give you answer in style what you deserve for I.e with court notice.
I have already discussed with your CRT team they don't have any answer for this and moreover there is no follow up call from policy bazaar.they are just playing with my money now I am man tally harassed by you so I will reach to your gurgaon office by 27th or 28th Jan and will take the serious action against you what can I do.

    on 11th jan 2017 i received mail regarding documents of vehicle and old policy for inspection and accordingly i immediately forwarded the same.
    Today on 22nd Jan 2017 i inquired for policy status. Policy Bazar crew informed me that after all documentation ONE day policy bazar staff called me TWICE but i didn’t pick phone and thereafter no followup was taken by policy bazar. Therefore policy is not issued till today because of some unknown mistake from policy bazar. I trusted policy bazar and purchased immediate policy bcz my previous policy was lapsed and I have submitted all required documents ASAP for immediate vehicle inspection. Also today i came to know that without any verification policy bazar team got mail on 18th Jan 2017 that my vehicle is out of town.
    Due to unreasonable delay from your side, now i have purchased physical policy for same vehicle and inspection was done on same day. Now I demand for REFUND OF ENTIRE MONEY PAID TO policy bazar on 10th Jan 2017 without any delay.

Mr indrajeet will be miss guide me and I paid 15000 Rs by only and after 4 days I canceled this plan, already I sent email to policy bazar and hdfc life. They only given me 10 working days, but his days now finished till now no received own money 15, 000 Rs. Again I call to policy bazar he no answer my call, so you tell me what can I do and I forget this amount?

        I have applied for ICICI Prudential policy from Policy bazaar website on 29th Dec'16. Even after continuous follow-up, I have not received any satisfactory response from the policy bazaar. I have requested them to cancel the policy but still no response.
        This is the proposal number received : OP00004900.
        Every time, I call them at their customer care, they tell me that they will check & get back to me but no positive response.

          I am extremely disappointed by policybazaar after being it's customer for many years.While buying the car insurance online through their website the payment confirmation page was not shown and gave me a error message so I felt that the policy must not have been bought so i had to redo the transaction leading to double payment.

          I immediately called your agent and also wrote an email to [protected]@policybazaar.com as mentioned to me by the agent while the policy was showing under approval process.Still two policies were issued for the same car from the same insurance company which in itself should not be possible as per Indian Motor policy regulation.

          Please refund the money for one policy as easily as it was deducted from me else I have to take this issue to various complaint forums and social media sites.I paid online why do I need to send a cheque for the refund please credit it back to my account from where it was paid.

          Yesterday I recieved 2 policies from the same Bajaj Insurance company for the same vehicle not sure how it's possible as companies should have internal mechanism to avoid issuance of double insurance for the same vehicle.

            Policy Bazaar didn't refund after three month. Now saying we can not refund without approval ...don't know when we will get approval.
            I bid the travel insurance policy from Policy Bazaar which is biggest fraud company in insurance sector. that was not in list of France embassy i bid alternative policy and applied for cancellation on 25 October. they never refund my money. they said we never refund the money without approval. we dont know about approval. who to give this whom is not cleared. please dont get in trap of both of these company.

                I booked car insurance policy from policybazaar.com. I paid my premium amount of Rs. 10, 847. After I made payment, customer care representative told me that I would get the soft copy within 2 or 3 hours. But It's almost 1 day I did not get any soft copy or promising mail from their side.

                After submitting complain they are saying that they require 24-48 hrs more. I want to take action against them and want my money back.

                    Hi My name is Seeta Rama Anjaneyulu working as a Quality Control professional in Doha Qatar. I got a call from policy bazaar about term policy. I told them all my details and upload the application with clear details am an NRI and also my permanent address in Andhra Pradesh. The Policy Bazaar people told me there is no requirement of medical for NRIs as per the salary. I asked many times is it ok they said ok. then they choose three policys are vaialble for NRIs 1.ICICI, 2.HDFC, 3.PNB METLIFE i opted for 3rd one PNBMETLIFE. After completion of all submissions and payment made, i received a call from PNB metlife people when you are coming for medical tests. Then i told them iam out of INDIA, the ploicy bazaar people told me there is no requirement of medical tests. Please give the possible solution otherwise pay me my amount into my account.

                      After payment waited for 2 days and rather getting a call i called medical team then they scheduled an appointment today at 10 am. But still i am waiting for them to reach me neither they came nor they replied.
                      After paying still my health insurance awaited.

                      Beware of the fake promises. The sales will tell you whatever they need to sell the product and will disappear once you make payment. Their Customer care will further call and seek updates from You rather providing updates.
                      I had taken a mediclaim policy of religare in which i was told i[censored] pay for 2years u get a benefit by policy bazaar in which u get a free policy but i didnt recieve.i was forced to pay for 2 years to get a free policy.

                        In 2015, i purchase insurence policy for my car from policy bazaar.com which includes cng as well (Policy#[protected]).

                        This year, it was the simple case of renewal.

                        I don't change any details from my side however after purchasing the policy, i checked my mailbox and realize that cng is missing. It means they have some system issue which remove the cng in renewal. (Proposal#pb13pg0010692)

                        I immediately inform them through mail regarding this omission.

                        Old policy was still in force at that time. Next day there associate called me and i again explain them the situation. They can easily add the cng as new policy was not issued that time however there associate "neha" closed the case and send the mail "as discussed, we are closing the case" without adding the cng.

                        After repeated mails and communication, after a month they inform me that car inspection need to be done. For whole month my car was on the road without valid insurance policy as cng was update in rc.

                        In inspection, they noted down all the small damages, which means i may not get the proper claim in case of any big damanges to my car.

                        Further, there is no communication as to who will pay the additional cost in case of any additional charges for adding cng.

                        What about the no claim bonus for next year. Since this will be consider as new policy now.

                        I have even escalated this issue to sandeepk however yet to receive any response from hime.

                          I purchased liberty videocon policy for my car in June 2016, provided all details of my car and previous years’ policies... Policybazaar given 25% ncb on purchased liberty videocon policy.
                          But when i claimed after an accident, the insurance company did not approve the claim on the basis of wrong ncb. I informed my agent from policy bazaar Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari about this. He told me to wait for some time to resolve the problem, as the mistake of wrong ncb is because of policybazaar. Now when i call Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari he does not receive my call and disconnect it and when i called on policybazaar toll free no the customer care executive said Mr Rahul Kumar Tiwari is busy and will call u later. But he did not call me. Next day again i tried to call policybazar they are stating that in the recording they have confirmed about the NCB percentage, but as per recording it is not clear that I have accepted the percentage. The agent who called me confused me, I clearly first stated as 0%. But as I had a network problem in my office while the agent had called me, and he was continuously stating 20% I thought it was for this year so I said ok. But he took it for previous year.
                          But while entering the details in policy bazaar before the Policy bazaar agent had called me, I have entered the correct NCB 0% for my previous year policy.
                          Now policy bazaar is stating that, they cannot do anything on this. Also, I had mentioned I would go for complaining against them in consumer court, they are ok with that.
                          Hence I wanted to complain in this forum, before going for a complaint in consumer court.
                          My car is lying in workshop from last 12 days. I was not expecting this kind of fraud from policybazaar.

                          My policy is hdfc life2 click on date 26/10/2016 buy, but I'm not satisfied to this policy and your service and invest to other best savings scheme so please call me and help us withdrawn this policy.
                          The same happened to me too... By default 25% NCB button is clicked already and customers continue with that. We can choose between whether claimed in previous year or not. .Nothing is mentioned about no claim bonus percentage and its criteria.
                          Its a loophole in the website from their end.

                              Hi, i have taken one star health insurance policy through policy bazar.com, on 10th aug'16, as shared by policy bazar customer care i will get my hard copy policy from star health insurance within 1 month. But till now not received my health insurance hard copy from star health insurance. As per communication i will get by 1 month after taking policy. Till date i have received 3 call policy bazar customer care, every time shared that i will get by next week. But till date i have not received. Also get bad behavior from policy bazar cca.

                                Hello, the l and t health insurance product (proposal number[protected] and application id[protected] was sold via policy bazar with false promises e. g.
                                1. if the medical certificates of the insurers for a 15 year old surgery is not available, then it will not held up things. but after collecting the premium, after a wait for 7 long days and continuous followup, i got to know that it;s being held up for those documents.
                                2. i was made false promises that the medical tests for my aged parents will be arranged in 1-2 days after paying the premium, it's been 5 working days now, and i got to know the above message today i. e. 8th oct while the premium was paid on 3rd oct.

                                While i have repeatedly emails, called them to cancel the policy and refund my money, they don't respond or don't act.
                                Note: the complaint is against policy bazar who sold the l and t product.

                                  This is in reference to the application of mediclaim policy (star health….) through policy bazar.
                                  I’m already holding a mediclaim policy from another insurance company but thought to enhance the services as i’ve heard a lot about star health. so i contacted policy bazar on 9th september, 2016 and i spoke to customer care (ms. alka) who in turn suggested me to take the policy from star health as my existing policy was expiring on 30th september, 2016. post her advice, i have made an online payment of rs.11300/- on the account of policy bazaar for purchasing the policy star health. before, making the payment, i shared my previous bitter experience with earlier policy related to my claim settlement as i could get almost half amount of my claim when i was injured and hospitalized due to an accident. then only, ms. alka suggested me to go in for star health which she claimed to be a better one. at the time of making payment, i clearly mentioned that i do not have any claim paper which i lodged with apollo munich as all the original documents related to my accident claim have been submitted to them for settlement.
                                  Another important thing i wish to put on record that at the time of making payment ms. alka asked me where i’m presently working and what is my permanent address. i mentioned that i am staying in agra whereas my permanent address is at delhi. however, from my friend circle, i could understand that the premium at agra is lower as compared to delhi. upon knowing this, i took up the matter with ms. alka of policy bazar and subsequently she agreed to refund me the difference amount and she promised me to issue me the policy within a couple of days. since nothing could be heard for more than 4 days, i started following-up the matter with ms. alka over phone as-well-as through number of emails. at last, when my existing policy was about to expire (last date being 30th september 2016), i took up the matter rigorously from 27.09.16 and subsequently she promised that the policy will be issued within 2-3 days; but nothing fruitful come out. ultimately, on 04.10.2016 i received mail from policy bazar mentioning that they want my old x-ray report along with the discharge summary from the hospital where i was treated due to the injury occurred owing to accident. the fact remains that ms. alka already knows that i do not possess any previous document or x-ray & discharge voucher as it has already been submitted to settle my medical reimbursement claim. subsequently, she advised me to reply her mail in the same way that i do not have any documents related to earlier accident/claim as-well-as ‘am medically and physically fit. she promised that after receiving this mail, she would arrange to release the policy document. on 5.10.16, i received a mail from ms. alka saying that unless i submit the earlier documents, they will not be issuing the policy. then i asked her to refund the amount of rs 11300 already paid by me, for which she said that it will take another 15 days to process the refund.
                                  This is indeed a pathetic situation wherein i’ve not even got the policy and even the funds have also been taken despite all the confirmations.in fact, because of this entire nuisance, i could not even renew my existing policy because of the dramatic assurances by policy bazar to go for star health insurance. this is sheer harassment by policy bazaar.
                                  I would therefore request you to either issue me the policy at the prevailing rate for agra region or make my payment immediately with interest; failing which i shall not only be knocking the doors of law, but will notify and circulate it to all the social net working sites. people should understand what sort of services you are providing to the customer and how you make fool around the people.

                                  Hope, you will take it in the right spirit and shall initiate quick action and not to create any unpleasant situation again.

                                    I bought TATA AIG travel insurance on July 30th 2016 through PolicyBazaar for the sum of Rs 9387. The amount got deducted from my account but I never received the policy copy. I bought this to your immediate notice. I was asked to wait for 7 working days for amount to be credited back to my account. Since the amount is not credited after 7 working days I contacted you again and I was advised that your team is in touch with the Merchant(Tata AIG) for the refund and advised me to purchase another policy. As per your advise I went ahead and purchased another insurance policy for the same amount of Rs 9387 and same merchant TATA AIG and this time I had received the policy copy, Since I haven't got the refund for the first transaction I contacted your support again and I was asked to submit the bank statements and other proofs for the transaction which I did on July 30th 2016 and I was shocked to hear from your support agent that TATA AIG has not received the payment. Later I was advised to contact the SBI bank through which I made the payment and ask for a refund. The bank denied the refund stating the merchant has taken the money, Now I'm totally confused and shocked that when I made the payment and the bank statement has clearly mentioned that the payment is made and TATA AIG has taken the money how can the merchant deny that the payment is not received.

                                    Its been more than 45 days now and I still have not received my payment and I am getting various excuses like the merchant has not tracked the payment, some back end issue, etc..

                                    In spite of me requesting a call back from either Mr Varun or someone from TATA AIG i never got any response. Every time I called the support and requested a call from Varun I never get a call, This is very disappointing and it has caused a lot of mental agony as I don't get any proper response from your support.

                                    I'm fed up with these excuses and I want to you to refund my money and settle this issue as a high priority. I used your portal to buy policy and it is your duty to settle the issue. As a senior citizen I don't have to run around your back end team or payment gateway to get my money back.

                                    Take a car insurance from policy bazar on Saturday I.e 10//9/2016 and they promised me that they will provide me the policy in next 24-48 hrs but till yet didn't get any insurance copy not soft copy from their side.
                                    Nor get any confirmation call or message from the insurer I.e Barri AXA.
                                    Please do the needful.
                                    Every day, I get a message from PolicyBazaar to renew my car policy. I have renewed it with a decent quote already, long back. I have no option to reject the messages as well. Please remove my number from your database. i do not want your reminders to buy a policy.

                                    I have several time request to cancel Policy number: PBW/[protected] bcoz in this the policy the passenger cover not covered.
                                    After several time follow up they even talk once for the same.

                                    Nobody even pic up your phone after payment confirmation given by the customer.
                                    Please do the needful Asap.

                                      My name is vipin tyagi and i purchased a helth policy from policy bazar excutive naveen. he told me some great benifit and offer behalf of policy bazar. I done that policy with star helth isurane at that time. Actuall date 10/08/2016 but i did not recieved hard copy first, then i made call on customer care no. of policy bazar but didnt find any solution again i made call but again same, again try but same as it. like that i tryed many time but did not response over the phone.i had some request no. also as far as they refuse me.
                                      i am not getting that what should i do. thats why i mail here.
                                      if dont find any satisfication from your side then i will take a leagal action against you.
