My name is Manoj.
I had visited "Policy bazaar" in the end of the
month of February 2015, regarding personal loan and all the policies they were
providing for the same. I gave the details required for initial input and as
expected received a call from some agent on the next day itself regarding the
schemes which are provided by policy bazaar. The one thing they repeatedly told
and I enquired was the time it will take for my loan to be approved. The
deadline they gave me was as follows:
The day I will submit my form it will take
- 2 days for processing
- 2 days for inquiry
- 2 days, at max 3 days for the approval and
I will have the money transferred or will get a cheque by
the end of 7 days
The initial phase was
very smooth as expected from any agency and there I got into contact with one
agent who would be handling my case and his name was Mr Hemant Mishra and as
usual he kicked off the initial requirement for my personal loan, asked for the
following papers:
- adhaar card
- driving licence
- pancard
- pay slip
- office address
- whom so ever as additional
On the next day itself the above papers were provided to him
and by evening he received those papers and told that everything is perfect and
I will have the money in next 3-4 days and so I didn't disturb him or policy
bazaar.
I got calls in office checking on my proof and identity
which were provided as required. Now this was the 1st week of March and to
guess it was 3rd of March and from my side all details were provided and
everything was done.
During all this time I
used to get at least 10-12 calls regarding all queries and all the help they
needed to fill in the gaps on my information.
Now starts the actual work from their side and I was
expecting a call from their side after a period of 3 days which I didn't get and
the biggest of all jokes I that I cant call them back on their numbers from
which they called and I have to follow a chain
- that was my first taste of their customer service
- 4 days over and still no calls and then the only thing
left was to call them back and I got this customer service no from their site
and I called them back, explained my side and as good people these agents told
me that they have forwarded my complain to the personal loan branch and will
get a call in next 10 min.
I got a call in next 1 hour and now this agent - Mr Hemant
Mishra called me and started to explain that, " Sir I was about to call
u..." and then he gave me the first bouncer and told me that I needed to
give him an additional paper for giving address proof. I asked him that why
didn't he inform me the same when he had sent someone to collect these forms
and when he called me to inform that I had sent him all the forms which he
didn't answer.
Now when I provided him with the same, he informed me that
now it will take only 3 more days and by far I will get my money on 10th of Mar
. So I waited for these 3 days and then again I didn't get a call on 10th so I
called customer care and again informed them the same and they forwarded my
complain and told me that I will get a call in next 10 min, which I didn't get
on that day. So I called them back and then they informed me that the agent has
left and will contact you tomorrow dot on 10 am.
Till now it was good happy days and on next day I got a call
from Mr Hemant Mishra and then he informed me that the my papers are under
process. He told me that I will get my money in the coming 2 days and now I was
feeling bit uncomfortable but since I required the money and I was on the
receiving end I felt that I should be patient.
Then 2 days after I didn't get any calls from him so again I
called the customer care and told them my problem, they forwarded my complaint
and I thought I will get a call but I didn't. So I called them back around 5
times with same response and now I started to feel irritated and I blasted for
first time and now they directly provided me with the number of personal loan
branch and I called on that number and there my agent received the call and I
asked him why didn't he called me back and there was no reply and then he told
me that he had spoken to the HDFC bank agent and things are under process but
by now I was feeling very much irritated and for sure Mr Hemant Mishra's word
had lost all the creditability and so has policy bazaar. So I told me him to
give me one date and he told me Sir 3 days you will have the money in your
hand, so I didn't disturb him but that 7 days process had gone to 20 days and
still nothing in sight but money requirement was becoming urgent day by day.
Now on the 3rd day I called him because I by now knew that I
cant wait him to call me back and so there iy goes, no one was receiving the
calls on the other side and again I needed to call customer care and asked him
if Mr Hemant was there and he replied in positive so I told them to inform him to
call me back which he didn't on that day.
All my limits reached my max, when he called back and told
me that it is still under process and will take time so I told him to just
cancel that but he requested me that sir just wait for some more time and I will
get it. But by know I knew that policy bazaar don't have ethics, are totally
unprofessional and the lies they say are way beyond I ever had to face. I told
the agent to cancel the loan process and everything, he told me that he will
cancel it.
I told him to return all the papers which I gave him some 5
days from today which he told me he will sent on the next day.
During this time I started to get calls from policy bazaar
to take schemes: car loan, home loan and credit card etc.
Now this explains all that in their profession. Now that it
has been 5 days and I hadn't received my papers back and now Mr Hemant Mishra
is not attending my call, what do you expect from me.
Sir I know your branch address but because I am too busy
right now I am not able to go and speak to you people personally.
Policy Bazaar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
