Refund of excess payment from Canara Bank Credit Card

I paid using Canara Bank Credit card to pay the premium of HDFC Life Insurance premium through Policybazaar.com and due to Internet error, excess amount got paid out. Now I am requesting the Policybazaar.com company to refund my excess money because that payment went though their website error. While I was making payment the website got stuck and I again tried the second by not completing the first one to cancel it and make the second time...

I am residing in bangalore. I applied for medical insurance for my parents aged 61 and 58 through policy bazaar after getting many callas and advises from their customer executives. They were lying on the floor and licking until they collected the money on March 14th. I applied for Royal Sundaram policy and Health India was their TPA. In 3 days I was supposed to get the medical test appointment. I didnt get any information until March 22th. I requested for cancellation of the policy then. Then they initiated the medical test for 28th. By that time my father had gone to native place Kerala. So they arranged medical test for my mother, in Bangalore and father in Kerala. My mother's test got done without much problems. When my father went for test, I could know that they had written my name(proposer's name) instead of my father name. Anyway they did only blood test and said TMT will be done later on doctor's availabilty. So I had to ask my father to come back to bangalore next day itself to do the TMT in Bangalore on 29th. After that they made a mess with the proposer name, applicants name and no status was updated till April 5th. Everytime they said about some technical Difficulty and kept on apologizing one after the other each day. Two customer care executives were assigned to talk to me Mr.Yadeendra Kumar and Mr.Deepak. They kept on telling lies and I asked them to cancel the application. Till April 18th they were blaming Royal Sundaram for not updating the status and did not even check with them any time. I again asked them to cancel the application and compensation for bank interest as well as the trouble caused. They said they can only refund the money and that too in 25 days only.

This is terrible service and the worst ever service they can do to customers. They don't value their words, customer's time. money.

    The car policy was sold to me by lies,and false promise ,wrong information and cheating that the policy will be issued immediately, even after paying 24 hours back i still have not received payment confirmation nor covernote nor car policy.
    I paid rs.27091 for mr car mh03bw5055. Before my policy on 14th april. Am yet to receive any proof.
    I was clearly being lied by policy bazaar that the payment receipt will be sent to me in next 15 mins.

    Inspite of several calls and emails to policy bazaar they have not been able to even confirm the payment whereas they had confirmed the receipt on the call on that day itself. You can get the recording confirming the same from policy bazaar as a proof. L

    And since the my current car policy expires on 15th april 2017 due to the careless ness and non renewal of policy by policybazaar inspite of payment received by them on 14th april 2017.

    I am definitely writing on social media about the horrible sales frauds and sales lies policy bazaar use to entice the customer to make payment online and than inspite of several emails and calls. Policy bazaar does not bother to respond and the manager would not even come on call to resolve the customer issue.

    I definitly would not have paid online to policy bazaar if i was told the truth that i would have to wait for 6 days to get a recipt of payment or policy cover note as my car insurance was expiring on 15th april. I would have bought it locally or directly thru insurance agent.

    Need help with refund compensation for the inconvenience they have caused me. Now i will not be able to drive my car and i will have to get physical verification of the car done for insurance renewal. I need compensation & apologies from policybazaar for the lies an cheating with customers.

      Sir I take four wheeler insurance plan for my vehicle through policy bazaar in Nov.2017 .now I want to transfer it to other person .I talked to policy bazaar customer care for transfer it and they told that send an application and original copy of RC of your vehicle to crtmotor.policybazaar.com and an other person mail Vikash.policybazaar.com and I send it on 15-03-17 . But after a month past I didn't get any reply . than I again call their customer care no. i.e. [protected] but they didn't talked me and false arguing me . I called them 10 to 15 times but their representative call me same reply that we transfer your call to our service department but I got no reply from them . I am totally disappointed now why I take police from online . But sir is this right to cheated us. Please do some action against them so that they don't cheat to others.

        They are the worst service privider..I just bought a car insurance from them bearing policy no[protected] for maruti ciaz. While entering the details at 1st they are only asking to enter the vechile no.In the next page while entering details for NCB the value 25% is already clicked by default and the whether claimed in previous policy is clicked NO.The customer clicks the button No and continues, which happened in my case too.I have not claimed in the previous year but claimed in the year prior to that(2015)
        For which i am eligible for 20% NCB and due to information mismatch my policy stands null and void now.
        This is a serious fault in their website to cheat customers..In this way many policy stands NULL and VOID due to the by default 25% NCB clicked there.

        You can check these by entering a car no there n proceeding for the subsequent steps.

          I have made a car Insurance on 04th April, 2017 against my car DL2CAQ9737 which is on the name of my wife Bithika Banerjee and the payment has been made on line through my HSBC credit card. The policy was taken from TATA AIG through Policy Bazaar.com.Now I am following up with them last 6 days, not a single written confirmation was given neither by TATA AIG nor by Policy Bazar though TATA AIG had claimed the payment from HSBC on 05th April, 2017 and I had got authorisation code from HSBC as well as merchant code but still no confirmation from them and my current policy will be expired on 12th April, 2017 mid night.
          From the customer care officer of TATA AIG Mr. santosh I came to know that customer id has been generated by TATA AIG but despite of that there is no confirmation from TATA AIG about the receiving of payment and policy issuing after my regular follow up and the team of both are very reluctant.

          Please look into the matter and do the needful. Please note that if it is not received before the expiry of policy I will make a complain and file a case against TATA AIG and Policy bazaar with a penalty for their reluctant attitude and irresponsibility.

            I have very bad experience on policy bazaar these guys r cheat, sales adviser r only for selling product no matter what, then u just call for the followup, they will ask u to call back, but back call never happened, matter is still pending, I purchased one policy but couldn't mention cng variant, then sale advisor asked me to buy new policy that will be canceled, I asked him to email me so that I can have proof, but as expected they cheat me n bought 2 policies worth 20k, got both policies by courier, no body is answering my call from my number but when I called from different number they picked up

              I tried to book a bike insurance in policy bazar on 30 march 2017 all transaction completed through paytm from my side amount also debited from my account. But till now i not received any confirmation mail or successful web transaction confirmation from there end, number of times i called to them and they telling send a transaction proof to [protected]@policybazzar.com, but mail Delivery incomplete error from goolge, after telephonic conversation there are telling, we will respond in a hour but for ever time, till now i not received any mail or messages form there end. From paytm i have recived one mail "Your bank just confirmed a successful payment of Rs.1309.5 on Paytm against Order ID PB736843T231567. We will refund your money in case the order is cancelled. Please contact us at https://paytm.com/care if you have any queries." But Policy bazzar not responding.

                I had bought a car insurance policy from BhartiAXA through Policy Bazaar. My car was surveyed within a day, and it was rejected without giving any reason. I tried reaching them to understand the reason of rejection, but not getting any updates. My Order No was 42501604. Would recommend not to buy anything through them. Would suggest to reach out to company directly.

                  Recieved a fake call from [protected].
                  People from policy bazaar calling me repeatedly and causing lot of inconvenience. I told these people not to call me and unsubscribe my number. Serious action needs to be taken against this company for making calls unnecessarily and disturb public.

                    They have taken the amount & not providing the medical test i have tried so many times but still they have not taken it seriously such a worst service provide by policy bazar. I have to take back my hard earn money they are just making fool to people.

                      Sir, it is to state that I have entered in a deal to purchase term policy of TATA AIA from policy bazaar. Accordingly, all the concerned documents along have submitted and also paid the premium amount of 10, 381, even medical also done. But after some days got a mail that your proposal has been declined. now i have been requesting with the policy bazaar for more than one month to refund my premium amount but they have not been doing any thing. Once they have said that please check your credit card statement refund amount has been already given. But so far I did not have received the amount.
                      Therefore, requesting you to kindly interven the issue and get it resolved on priority basis.

                        I did my policy along with my family for travel to France Netherlands and Belgium. I paid premium as per my requirement based on number of countries visiting but when I got my policy through mail it mentioned only one country as Belgium. Other two countries missing.

                        Now nobody bothers to correct it when I have liitle time to apply for visa for travel.
                        Kindly solve this problem immediately otherwise keep the money to feed your monkeys free of cost.

                        And please don't cheat on such a large scale of the people's hard earned money.

                        Will advice people to not to use this site at any cost in your interest.

                          Immediate Action Required for the pro-longed issue

                          With the utmost sadness and frustation I want to express the pathatic treatment being done

                          with me by the Policy bazar and Apollo Munich. The story begin in jan 2017 when I bought

                          the policy for my parent so that any financial urgency can be met.
                          But who knew I had to apply for the cancellation udue to clauses explained to me were

                          missing in the policy.
                          Since then I have done uncounted follow up wasting my usesful energyand that for my own

                          money.Each time they asked me for a new document for e.g cancelled check, adhaar card, forms

                          etc. After providing the pleothra of information to them I have not stil received my money.
                          And to my surprise I got to know they have delivered the check and when I enquired basis

                          the information they provided it has been delivered to the wrong address .

                          Either it is wrong consignment number or they have used the wrong address.

                          It has been more than 45 days now and from this you can measure the quality of their

                              Hi,
                              I have received a call from Mr. Dilip(Personnel of Policy Bazaar) for logging in Term Insurance. He outlined that Medical Test will be done for outside Indian for NRI's. The said service is available only with HDFC and ICICI. I had a chat with HDFC and confirmed that medical test would done only in India. However couldn't confirm with ICICI. Mr Dilip has told me to take term insurance with ICICI and tests would be conducted outside also. I have registered for Term Insurance with ICICI and later found out that ICICI will not support for Medical test outside India. I have raised multiple complaints with Policy bazaar but couldn't get a response. Policy bazaar is just is cheating customer with their false information.

                                I bought a 2 wheeler policy - HDFC ergo, providing accurate details and because of their mistakes, they have entered incorrect details of the vehicle owner on the policy document making it useless for us and they are not ready to rectify it nor we are getting any callbacks from them. It's more than 3 months now. Never their toll free number gets connected nor emails are being responded. When buying policy required details where given to them.

                                  I got my compliments on call but when asking to provide few details on email no reply from long time.
                                  Got confirmation for only one query from Mr. Sanjay Gangola out of few and still awaiting for others
                                  I have been e-mailing to Mr.Sanjya Gangola from long time but didn't received any reply.

                                  If before sales response is such than how would be after sales response.

                                  Amir chowdary, You need not worry if no response from policy bazaar, they are only bulk sellers of policies of insurers as per tie up with all insurers. You may go for any individual insurer for policy. you may note that after sale of policy, policy bazaar is no way connected with terms & conditions, claim settlement, renewal etc, only you have to get in touch with insurer. Therefore it is desirable to buy policy only after aware of terms & conditions of policy as stated above.
                                  I bought two wheeler insurance on Policy Bazaar from Oriental insurance on 17.02.17 Amount deducted from my account three times immediately but no Policy issued to. so I need my money refund asap.

                                    It has been more than 2 months since i have raised this concern with policy baazar team as "..How long does it take to get the policy corrected in my name as per RC copy provided".

                                    Every time i contact CRT team they are keeping me on hold for a long time and disconnecting the call.. This is ridiculous..

                                    This is not a right way to treat the customer.

                                      This is to bring your notice that after 1.5 months kotak general insurance increased the additional premium of rs. 842/- in my bill.
                                      When i had applied for car insurance, kotak just asked me that i have claimed any amount in my previous insurer, i had mentioned in last year duration no claimed from my last insurer.
                                      But after 1.5 months kotak sent me the letter that i am not entitle for 50 % ncb due to last year claimed from previous insurer.
                                      When i had confirmed from tata (Previous insurer) and shared the same info with kotak that i have not claimed any claim amount from tata, requested to provide me 50% ncb.
                                      Then kotak changed the statement and sent a mail that from my previous insurer i was entitle for 25% ncb so i have to pay rs 842/- immediately.
                                      Note - my point is when i had shared the all details and i had compared the premium amount of all the car insurance companies, kotak provided me the best deal in policy bazar that's why i have applied for kotak general insurance but after 1.5 month kotak increased premium amount and hold my policy.
                                      Because they also knew that my last policy has been expired on 14.12.16 and for renewal i dont have another option.
                                      O i am feeling cheated and login the complaint on consumer forum, please share your grievance cell email id.
