My sincere advice to all those wish to purchase pureit ro+uv. O not buy it. Whatever advertisement (Rather propaganda) is deceiving. You end up with spending more and more over the years to service providers. No effective hul customer care. Now coming back to my complaint pending with hul co no.[protected] dt. 14.3.2019.

He captioned purifier was purchased by me through taj services, andheri east, mumbai, vide cash receipt no.3338 dt. 15.6.16. For rs.15500+ 2100 extended warranty.

I am sorry. It is not at all cost effective. I had to spend an amount of rs.6700/- during the span of two and a half years towards service charges, spares, change of filters, etc. On a machine costing rs.15500/- which is very much on the higher side as compared to other purifiers. It does not stand to any logic.

The unit was installed by a authorized service provider, hung on two nails on the kitchen wall. Recently, the unit came off the nails and was hanging on one nail.

A formal complaint was made on 14.3.2019 (Co. No.[protected].

A technician, shri sandeep from laxmi enterprises, andheri east, mumbai, looked into the complaint. He certified that the hook is broken and needs replacement of the body of the unit since the hook was molded into it. He promised to return with the replacement immediately. Since then there was no response either from hul or laxmi enterprises.

After registering the first complaint, 3 more reminders were sent on 14, 22, 23 and 29 march 2019 to hul customer care : pureit. [protected]@unilever.com pureit. [protected]@unilever.com,
With out any response.

Further, hul does not have the basic courtesy of intimating us the authorized service providers who would be visiting us on the complaint.in fact they changed three service providers since i bought the purifier, viz.

(A) taj services, andheri east, dealer,
(B) ahura enterprises, andheri east) (No more in existence)
(C) laxmi enterprises (No more in existence)
(D) juhi enterprises. (A new start up, perhaps)

    Dear Users,

    Hul pureit ultima ro+uv has faulty circuit board which is also known to manufacturers as defective part ... I am using it since 2 yrs and I am changing gkk 1 and gkk2 kits regularly and all service s are done at correct time, but finally after 2 yrs suddenly one fine day without any fault the circuit board got currupt and all lights are blinking regularly . It is even worst than Chinese part .
    Service professional said ultima has this circuit problem from long and its known them to cause problems regularly ... Now he says it may cost 3500 and if adapter is also gone it may cost 1900 more ...this is "pure cheating" not pureit.
    I am electronic engineer and I am using circuits day in and out ... None of quality boards break so soon ... They milked customer 18500 for this machine and upon this they cheat in defective parts.

    Circuit board manufacturing cost is 50 or 100 rs and purposes fully being aware to cheat customer s they are milking 3500 rs for a small circuit board 5 inch by 4 inch its no where as big as an Led TV or at least even an laptop or even an phone board ... Its an silly board to show TDs reading to make customer sheep and milk them 3500 ... Actually TDs reader is available for 100 rs in Pen size, they are using same reading to show as lights and name some out of world invention ... God save the World.

      I have pureit (Ultima ro+uv with oxytube) water purifier.
      Last month the purifier was showing to change its filter. They charge 2800 for internal filter change. And on the next day again it stopped working and saying to change its filter again.

      After every 3 months the filter shows to change filter and the charge heavily to change it.
      They are only making money after selling this water purifier.

      Customer was facing filter issue in the device, so we arrange the technician according it.

      Out call the customer the filters got change at FOC by the service team.

      So kindly request to close the case.
      Still the issue is remain. They visited and told to pay 6000 for AMC then they will resolve the issue.

        My pure it marvello is just 24 month old. I spent 2500 after one year for gkk1, after 18 months i spent 300 just to replace sd filter. After 24 months i spent 4000 for gkk2. Now pcb got repaired. It is costing 2300 for second hand pcb and 3800 for new pcb as told by service centre js home solutions
        Lsp, bangalore.

        Is this the quality of hindustan unilever products..?

        Such a shame on you guys.

        I will suggest every one keep away with hul products.

          Hi,

          My contact number is [protected]. This is regarding complaint# co[protected]. As part of this complaint, filter membrane, sediment filter and solenoid valve was replaced on 19-jan-2019. However, within 2 weeks time machine started having problems. It was taking close to 2 hours to purify water and fill the tank. I contacted the concerned technician on 8-feb-2019 and he visited for check on 11-feb-2019 only to say that the membrane has gone bad and it has to be replaced again from my pocket.

          Its really frustrating to say the least that i am being ask to pay again for the filter. The concerned agency (Uk agencies) is simply sitting on this issue and not providing a clarification. Either the part was bad or the technician did not fit the part as expected. But there seems to be no avail on this.

          This is not the only issue i'm facing. I have raised close to 10 complaints since i bought the machine on july, 2017. Whenever i ask the technician why machine often gets faulted, he says the water is too hard with a tds of 900 ppm. When hul advertises that water can be purified upto with a tds o[censored]pto 1800 ppm, the service technicians say something different. I really don't know who is cheating on us. I hope hul looks into it and replaces my machine itself.

          This complaint is not resolved yet. This issue is still recurring. The machine worked fine for couple of weeks and stopped working again on Mar 5 after which flow register was replaced. The machine worked fine for a month and stopped working again on Apr 1. I raised a complaint CO#CO[protected] again. The technician visited and said the filter membrane has to be replaced again with payment from my pocket. He keeps saying water is salty and hence this issue is recurring. I still haven't got a clarification from HUL on the statement that it can purify water upto a TDS of 1800 PPM but why it isn't able to purify a TDS of 900 PPM in my location.The issue seems to be the parts getting replaced are sub-standard or the technician is not good enough to fix the issue. Its really frustrating to say the least that such a reputed organisation like HUL is unable to provide a permanent fix. I hope at least now someone from HUL looks into it.
          We have been calling your technician on cell number [protected] for service issue since last 4 days.He has not attended the office till date.
          I am purchased a pure it purifier from 15.11.2018 . Some days this purifier has no working . So please help me to replace my purifier as soon as possible.

            I am not at all satisfied with the product. The motor makes horrible sound and technician has no solution for it. Its cutoff button doesnot work properly and has been replaced two times. The product is under warranty. I purchased this product from best price which i think keeps faulty and discarded products of hu. I dont want this product in my house but as usual poor support from hu team.

              I had log the Complaint on 25th jan. No one Addressed this issue So far.
              Complaint no is #CO[protected].

              I called plenty times in customer care and every time they told me they are addressing this issue.
              Even they are not responding on mail as well.

              I had a call With there agents Deepak and Bhuesh but they promised me get this case escalated. Bhuesh (Super Visor) told me he will give me call back in 5 mints. They guys are playing and responding neither over mail nor over phone.

              I called them every morning and first they told me "we are sorry for the Delay" and second they told me they are checking what is the issue.

                I purchased pureit ultima ro+uv in 2016 and got replaced the gkk1 in september 2018 when the problem started and the indicators are not showing correct bars. Even after notifying the same to the vendor on same day, nothing was done and the problem continued. Now they are saying that control circuit needs to be changed that costs around 5500. It's ridiculous that in 2 years the circuit started malfunctioning. Why the vendors are not handling the complaints efficiently? Even after paying 250 for each visit we are not getting proper service.

                Also the vendor has damaged my glass panel that cost 2000 and there is no way to raise a claim. Why consumers needs to be suffered so much.

                Requesting hul to look into this issue and provide a solution.

                Before few months i bought pure it but now its not working properly ...the water is not coming from the clarifier into the transparent chamber..why is this happening..help me to solve it

                  Hi i have pureit advanced filter. The water is not getting filtrated since last two weeks. I lodged a complaint through pureit's helpline. I got the response that the service executive will visit you shortly.
                  Thereafter from next day we daily called the consumer helpline and got the answer that senior technician will visit shortly. One number was provided of lalwani sales pune. Got a call from them that technician will visit your house the next day, he hasn't visited yet.
                  I had to make daily calls to take the follow up daily.
                  Yesterday the pureit helpline executive said that the technician has marked the complaint - spare part not available without visiting the site.in fact, he hasn't visited the site. I tried to call on the number provided, he isn't responding to call.

                  Well agian pureit service guy has marked the complaint as resolved without visiting. I am not sure whether pureit has any infrastructure in place for service. If they can't provide service we will accept that it was our mistake purchasing a pureit product. Even there is no response to above complaint from pureit.

                  My pure-it marwal ro indicate csf change but your engineer mr. Ashish mob. [protected] not changed all three kit and mr.Ashish also not have the proper knowledge of this ro, he has taken our one kit and mr. Ashish dose not have proper knowledge of tds and ro. So you are requested to send senior engineer with new csf kit and not send mr. Ashish.

                    I have been using pureit water purifier uv+ro for the past over 5 years. Recently the system is giving repeated problems and i am spending quite a good amount of money on it. Recently i got it repaired from your authorized agent and spend almost rs.10000/- and this happened in october, 2018. During the process of the repair since i am spending a lot of amount i enquired if there is any exchange offer available so that instead of spending rs.10000/- on the old one i can as well get a new one by spending another rs.1000/- or so. But the company said there are no such offers and i got my purifier repaired. Almost every part was replaced excluding the outer box. Now again the system is showing the message to contact the customercare. By spending rs.10000/- also the system did not work and failed again in 2-3 months time. Request you to give a solution for this repeated repairs. I could have gone for a new purifier by spending couple of thousands more which should have given me lot of peace. Even after my repeated enquiries to your authorized agents they never told me to go for a new one. Even i thought by replacing all the parts the system will work for an year or two without much headaches. Please advise.

                      I am extremely saddened by the behavior of gachibowli, hyderabad technicians. I have registered a complaint of water impurity for more than 3 months back. Technician came and said everything is fine. When i asked for amc, he said we don’t give. I called to the service center and they said they actually give and they raised request on my behalf but technician never visited or called me till today. Today at 11.30 am, they have called me and said we will give amc but no germ kill kit will be replaced under that, only small maintainence will be covered. I asked where is it mentioned then they are saying it is everywhere. They have been closing my complaints numbers without reaching out to me. Also the regional head raju is very rude and said do whatever you want to do, i will be only taking care of your area. So company will do whatever he will say about the product. I definitely want to raise harassment case on the product and technicians.

                        On 26.12.2018 the problem of water filter i. E. Change of gkk was resolved. But immediately in next week i. E. On 7th jan 2019 same problem recurred despite fixing new gkk by the company. So on 7th jan 2019 again a new complaint was register vide complaint no co[protected]. Now till date no response from the company or from its service centre. On calling again the random reply was given that reminder will be sent but no any kind of assurance for the service. On the contaray they also said technician will again charge rs. 250 for visiting the place. When argued for it they said you talk with the service person directly when they call. But no one has bothered to call back. Kindly help.

                        Customer has change the GKK on 22/12/2018 again on next week 7/1/2019. the same GKK got problem and to check the device technician charging 250 visiting charge.

                        So acknowledge the same to service team, and arrange the technician.

                        Out called the customer device is working fine now. change the adapter and ro membrane .

                            I have purchased PureIT RO + UV on May 2016 with 1 year extended warranty for 18K. Till now I had spent twice for GKK1 n GKK2. Recently 3750 in March 2018, 1000+ in June 2018 and 2650 in end of Nov 2018. From the day of purchase to till now I had spent around 15k on it.

                            And now Jan 2019 all SF, GKK1 and GKK2 lights are started blinking, when approached customer care they said its a circuit issue which costs around 3500.

                            I am really confused whether Purifier works for me or for Service provider's benefit. I will never suggest anyone with this product.

                            Ordered GKK1, as per pureit promise for delivering within 72 hrs. Pureit not able to Deliver the same even with in a week. And not able to fullfil their commitment as per their PROMISE, when called or emailed not even responded also.

                            No proper customer service. Since 3 months no reply for several emails.

                              Hi, i have pureit advanced ro system bought in july 2017. I had changed gkk1 in july 2018. This week water dispensing has stopped and upon checked by the technician, pcb is faulty and needs to be changed, costing 2500 rs.

                              Even before completion of 2 years, if the circuit board needs to be replaced what is the value and quality provided by pureit?

                              Gkk2 + pcb cost is almost equal to a new ro system. Very bad quality of products.

                                I bought pureit marvello uv + ro in sep 2017
                                It has an advanced alert system which will notify filter change 15 days before completion
                                In sep 2018 i got the control circuit changed under warranty. 15 days ago i ordered for gkk1 as alerted by pureit system
                                Technician from pureit visited on 19th dec 2018 and installed gkk1 and charged 2650 rs.
                                On 4th jan 19, within 3 months of control circuit replacement it got failed again. This indicates how low grade parts they replace in spare parts and that too wothout warranty
                                When i complained to pureit helpline they said that there is problem with control circuit as no current supply was coming to filter other factors from electric board being ok and it needs to be replaced which costs around rs. 3250.

                                Even before completion of 1.5 year, if circuit board needs to be replaced that too 2 times what is the value and quality provided by pureit?

                                Pureit is even worse than chinese counterfiet.

                                    There is water leakage in ro, new ro installed only two weeks back. Complaint lodged on 22.12.2018, tat was given for 24 hours. But even after 5 days, no body is listening. Call centre staff is very aggogant. Though reminded several times, not ready to listen. Very poor quality of service. It reflects regrettfully poor service from a so called branded product. My complaint no. Is c[protected] dt.22.12.18 given by call centre. Any body from pureit would look in to it — d. K. Arora

                                      I had bought the device in nov, 2016 for from one of the outlet in lucknow, post the technician came and informed the device was missing one of the accessory boxes which had delayed the installation to feb of 2017 after which within few days the leakage started which took another few days to rectify by the technician. Post which i was informed the device would cost annual usage charges of 2000/- for gkk1 after 4000 lts (1 year approx) and 3700/- for gkk2 replacement after 8000 lts (2 years approx) after which the cycle is repeated.

                                      Few weeks back the ggk2 was due for change which costed me 3750/- and a week o[censored]sage now the pcb is damaged and the replacement cost is another 5400/- after 2 years o[censored]sage. Noting that device cost 17000/- at the time of purchase. The cost of maintaining this device is too high and not being informed at the time buy about is maintenance is too much of a burden.
                                      So the device is currently a piece of box that consumed rs. 22000/- approx+ headache for 2 year of drinking water only.

                                      I would request the company to look into the issue and help me with resolution, along with salesman training informing about after sales maintenance cost.

                                        It is very sad to inform you that your company is using msg for soups where it is considered to be a poison for many customers. I really had a severe skin rashes and palpitations after having that where you dont clearly state msg and you mark it as flavour enhancer. Why there is a problem that you cannot mark it straightly as msg? I might be able to figure this out. How about about other people who cant get this straight? It can cause a heart failure as sodium levels are high. I really want this problem to escalate and i will definitely go till my efforts until you make soups without any flavour enhancers. You are feeding poison to people because you cant bring the taste. Totally #!

                                        Machine doesnt even last a year. Parts are every expensive. 5500 for a circuit.
