I complained about my “Pure it” Water Purifier for water is leaking out of the purifier two times they have not visited a single time and the problem is continue till now…

It has taken 5 to 6 Rs

    No service being provide for last 1 month after Installing battery kit improperly
    have followed up with pure it for number of times and every time they end up with fake commitments. I am fed up with Pure-IT, as I am not able to use the equipment for past 1 months. We are still using Can Water & Each time we have to spend 30 Rs to the Can Water guy. We have a small child in family and I am worried about my family's health. I hope at-least, this forum can help me out...

      PURCHASE ONE PURE IT ADVANCE ON 7TH JULY12 . AFTER TWO MONTH THE PURE IT IS NOT WARKING .I TALK TO YOUR DEALER M.S.SERVICE CENTRE.THAN HE SEND HIS REPRESNTATIVE TO CHECK MY PURE IT .AFTER CHECKING OF PURE IT HE ADVICE ME TO CHANGE GERM KILL BATTERY.HE REPLACE THE BATTERY & WANT RS.485/- THE BATTERY COST & RECEIVED THE AMOUNT FOR MY SIDE BUT MY PURE IT IS NOW WARRANTY PERIOD.

        I had purchased a Pure It machine (10 lt) of Hindustian Unilever from Gift Palace, Meerut (01.05.12) with a cost of Rs.1000/-. While purchasing I had regarding the product's leakage. But the shop keeper had told me the same is ok. But after installing the machine at home I came to know that the machine is in leaking condition. I had contacted the Shop and they had told me to call the customer care of pure it. From the next day I had called the customer care more than 10 times. But till date nobody had reached our house for checking the machine and the next day I also receive SMS from customer care that your problem had been closed. But still the same is not resolved and now they are not picking the phone.
        Pl look into the above given problem as we and purchased the same on 01-May-12 and from the next day the same had problems. How can we trust hindustan unilever.

          I have purchased PureIt marvella uv purifier from vijay sales miraroad, the water started leaking from it in just 2 hrs after technician has deployed it. when I told vijay sales about this then the arrogant people of vijay sales told me that it will not be replaced and you have to go to pureit customer care.
          SO THIS IS FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE WITH VIJAY SALES.

          Defective Marvella UV Purifier:

          I Purchased a Marvella UV Purifier from R. K. Music Centre, Chinchawad, Pune - 411 019 on 29th Sept'12. Since then my nightmare has started. The same day one technician came who just could not fit the Purifier, after opening 2 of 4 screws, holding the UV Cylinder/Cartridge with the purifier body, for reasons best known to him. The next day another technician came, who although made the purifier operational, but kept the 2 screws still open. He promised to fix the same within 2-3 days as extra screws were not available with him. Although finally after 20-25 days, the screws were fitted after continuous follow-up from my end, the problem did not end there. After just 2-3 days, water started leaking from within the purifier. I registered the complaint with Pureit Customer Care & the same was attended. However again after 2-3 days, the same leakage has happened & the Purifier doest not stop even after the internal tank has become full. Even after 3 visits by Pureit Technician, the problem still continues as on date. Even now the purified water tastes different.

          I am really disheartened by the performance as well as service quality of Pureit/ Hindustan Unilever. I believe that the Water Purifier is a defective one, which could not be fixed, even after 5-6 visits of Pureit Technician. I want the defective product to be replaced by a good one. I did not expect such a bad quality product from a reputed company like Unilever & now fear to recommend this product to my friends.

          This calls for an immediate action from Pureit Team.

              Dear sir,
              I was purchase a water purifier from Hindustan unilever on 2009, in may 2012, it looks to change battery GERM KIT, I called to purit helpline and order it, but they did not deliver it, i called again, they again book my order, and promise to deliver me, but still i am looking for delivery. i called purit helpline more then 15 times and book my order, but this is just waste of time, please do help.

              M y purit equipment got leaky a month back and my complaint no was C[protected] .One technician from Saligramam, chennai attended and said spare parts are not available and said will come soon. even after calling the toll free no and sending mails there is no response .

                I find a significant difference in the quality of Pears Pure and Gentle with glycerine and natural oils manufactured by Hindustan Unilever and sold in Indian retail market.

                This is in comparison to Pears Gentle Care TRANSPARENT SOAP manufactured by Unilever and available outside India.This product available outside India is the original Pears Soap which I am using for the past 30 years, rich in lather, long lasting ( ~25 days).

                The Pears Pure and Gentle soap manufactured by HUL is not rich in lather and lasts only for a fort night.

                Upon comparing the formulation of both the products, I find there is a difference in formulation used by HUL compared to its peer product available outside India.

                The following ingredients are not used by HUL:

                Benzyl Benzoate
                Benzyl Salicylate
                Cinnamal
                Eugenol
                Limonene
                Linalool

                How can HUL market a low quality product and take its customers in India for a ride. Despite repeated emails to HUL on this issue, I have not got any response. Kindly let me know how to address this issue.

                thanks for bringing this issue in public...i too have been usung pears since childhood but since past few years i have noticed significant changes in the product. The fragrance is different...the feel has changed...it doesnt last long...the whole thing that made it different...its no more the same product...u r absolutely right...hul is taking is for a ride...but mind u it is loosing business now...the customers like me who had been using this has moved on to other products...
                if ingredients are looked at closely, the original one has more sorbitol than glycerine.
                and the blue and green ones have negligible glycerine.
                Before a week I bought a pears soap from big bazar, within 3 days o[censored]se now it starts to stink smell badly like faulty food waste and melting like a loose wax
                I have been using pears soap from Last 8 years, in recent years several times i have received this low graded quality products, I can't believe that the soap get stink smell bad within a use
                I hope there should be concern on my complaints, solutions regarding this complaint

                  Hi Sir,

                  I ordered GKK on 6th August 2012 with order number RFS/2069695. There has been a lot of delay for providing me GKK. It crossed the 72 hours limit on 9th of August (12 days back).

                  Yesterday, I called the customer care. I told the customer care representative about HUL's policy to provide free GKK if it has not reached within 72 hrs, but they booked another order with order number RFS/2119806.

                  Please take this case and help me to get it as soon as possible with my old order only keeping the HUL promise.

                    Installed Germ Kit for Compact on 10th May 2012, outdated in just two months after installation, Bought this for parents, Water started leaking, mother almost tripped on the wet surface. made complaints thrice, no action taken, infact there is no complaint lodged with the customer care, that is what the executives reply. made a online complaint as well. They are only interested in sales but not in service.

                        Worst service , faulty product..don't purchase pure it water purifier.
                        I have purchased pure it before two weeks.Their representative came after two days for demo with kit.
                        I found the cap damaged,he denied to give another kit.so i refused to purchase,then he replaced the cap,hr charged 50rs more for delivery.Next day i found kit is not fitted properly and their is manufacturing defect in containers,I found gap between two containers.Then i registered complaint to their customer service center,but no response again i called after two days,they told within 48 hours our person will attend the call.After two days i got a message your complaint has been attended,please give feedback if satisfied reply as SER 1 if not reply as ser 0,they are just cheating us.
                        No one has attended the complaint.I replied by sms SER 0.but still no any response.
                        Very poor service and bad product.

                        Renewed battery kit in first week of August 09..After wards purified water observing mud colour.Complaint given on 14.08.09.No reply from their end.Again given complaint on 17.08.09 three times.They telling some story every time.they told they will attend on 19.08.09. But still there is no call from service end.While selling they will do the work fast.But service is very very third class.I planned to call media person to show the things.

                          I bought Marvella RO 3 days back and till now i have not drunk even a drop of water out of it.
                          I bought this after reading the positive reviews on flipkart.
                          The installation person did not know any thing about the machine and he only knew how to hang it on the wall.

                          Once he hanged it and i started the water and switched on the light. it started leaking from all over the body, the installation guy tells he do not anything about it, call customer care bla..bla..
                          Not a single drop is coming from tap and the water is coming out all over from the machine body, my whole kitchen got wet due to this, and no one from the pureit visited us after complaint. they are saying some one will come.
                          If this is the service for new purchases , you can think what will be service after some time.

                          I saw one more review with the same problem today on consumer forum.unfortunately i missed this before the purchase.

                            I had bought Pureit Classic on Sunday morning 29-Jul-2012.


                            Which comes out to be faulty and for that I registered a complain on 29th morning itself.


                            Now since than I have been calling every day (Its already 5 days now) and your call center guys promise me every day that the technician is going to visit today.
                            This is not happening and I pissed of your service, I buy a brand new water purifier for 1200 RS and it is faulty and there is no one to give me service for 4 days now.


                            Today I spoke to the senior twice and they promised me or i would say they gaurentee me that i would not have to call them again and the service would be done today.


                            Since no one came today also to attend the problem, I demand you to give back my money back and take your purifier back.
                            Failing to do so, I would register complain in the consumer forum.

                                I had bought 'auto fill type pure it from the co-operative stores,kalpakkam, abot 10 months before.

                                Now it is over flowing after filling the top tank. This may be due to the mal functioning of the float.

                                Kindly arrange to repair it at the earliest.

                                  after filling of 9 litres of purification water it gets leakages from bottom & middle of the chambers. I think they especially launched advanced in leakage system not in as brand value. And after complaining 2 times & 3 follow ups than also they are not responding on this issue. I never faced this kind of worst service from any other product till now.
                                  And this my complaint no C[protected]. And I got every time message in my mobile your complaint is attended & give ur feedback. almost more than 7 to 8 messages i received.

                                  While purchasing it was told that it purify 1500 Lt water but it stops working after half of it.my phone no is [protected]
                                  I am facing the same problem as the above... The executive came twice, but still am facing the same problem. I dont know how many times they will come and say the problem is solved, but again it starts leaking... Am fed up, its a new product, bought last week, it started leaking from the first day itself.. complaint # C[protected].
                                  I am also facing the same problem. Puerit advanced is leaking from sides and lower chamber

                                  how long does it take for the water to reach the transparent chamber. i left the water in the chamber and even after an hour not even a single drop appeared. i saw the setting up process and i had done it correctly. is there something that one needs to do but it is not told in the manual

I bought Pureit Advanced 23 litrs water filter one year back. when the filter changed second time, there was water leakage from bottom. I immediately informed the technician, he came and corrected it. but now third time water is leaking from bottom, but no body is attending the problem. I am using the leaking water filter with great difficulty. I request to do some thing immediately

                                    I order GermKill kit on 19th jul-2012 through online i received the sms with order on RFS/2008206
                                    and service provider detail as Taj service mbl :[protected]. My purit is registered online in name of Ankur Chadda ([protected]@yahoo.co.in)

                                    I contact the service provider and ask him to deliver it on sat (21-jul) he agreed to it.
                                    But there was no delivery made on sat.
                                    I kept calling him about it and he said that it will be done today.
                                    When till 7PM it didnt delivered I called the purit helpline and logged the complaint regarding this.
                                    They said that they will looking into and it will be delivered on saturday itself. But no delivery my whole day wasted in waiting for it.

                                    I called the service provider he said that he will make sure that its done on sunday (22-jul-2012)
                                    But no delivery done . I called him arounf 6pm and he started making excuses. I again call the helpline and registered the complaint.
                                    They told and the there executive will call and the kit will be delivered today.

                                    But no one called. and also they dont provide any complaint number to follow.
                                    These purit people are providing useless service if they cant provide the complaint number.

                                      I, Kuldeep Khetarpaul (0-[protected]) purchase the p water purifier "Pureit", after 6 month on 26th of May, 2012 the battery for the same was replaced by the Co. authorized dealer on chargeable basis for 1500 lits. of water for 2 1/2 to 3 months,
                                      but it became useless just after 24 days for which the complaint has been raised at[protected] , PUREIT . They assured to attend the complaint with in 48 Hrs.
                                      but still it is pending till now. After complaining for the same various time at the interval of 4-5 days & discussing the same with the senior level persons, they did not arrange to attend the complaint registration No. C[protected], to replace the same. Instead of attending the complaint, the SMS is being sent (each & every time) that "Sorry to inform you that the could,t trace your address", while my address in very simple and Live in the traceable colony i.e.
                                      137/A; Sainik Colony, Sector- 49, Faridabad NIT, (HARYANA).
                                      Now you please arrange to attend the complaint, otherwise i will not forgive and go up to the higher authority till the complaint is not being attended.
