I purchased pureit ultima ro+uv on 15 august 2018.
The first gkk1 replacement happened around mid 2019.
We could sense a different taste in water and immediately called for replacement of gkk2 on 3 aug, 2020. Please note that filter did not alert to change it. We paid 3800 for it.
The technician asked us to call him once the system alerts.
Now the filter prompted gkk2 change on 6 august 2020 true the promise of 2 year replacement. We called the technician to reset the machine. He came and tried to reset but failed. The only solution he gave was that circuit board is faulty and needs to be replaced (Cost 5200/- plus visit)
Now the machine is lying useless because it the electronics need to be resettled.
It is very hard to believe that a circuit, which was not even touched more than once can get spoilt in 2 years!! I feel cheated to have trusted this brand for quality, even cheap chinese products have better quality.
I suspect a foul play as well where the technicians are trained to break the bottoms probably.
All in all, it is holding the customer at ransom after they spend through their nose to buy a premium product under a false promise of quality.
Requesting hul to look into this issue and provide a solution, at earliest

Updated by anmol rohatgi After a thorough research online, I found that this is a regular trend, the circuit malfunctions suddenly after 2 years!! There are multiple similar complaints across multiple forums for the same model.
