The broadband stops working every 4 to 5 days and the complaints are attended after 2 to 3 days at rajpura. the miserable part is that when a person comes after 3 days, he simply calls a number and says: bhai mac reset kar do zara) (please reset the mac) and the thing starts working. how ridiculous that the people at their exchange or which ever internal facility he called to get the mac reset do not check any thing by themselves, and if it was such a micro fault why did it take them 3 days to check it.? by what consumer standards do they deserve broadband rent for the days when the broadband remains un-operational.
The person at patiala connect office when contacted says "we have an out-sourced technical service provider at rajpura, so we cannot reduce the delay period, you have to request them only". means, just pay the bills to us and go to hell for service. does that really work in this democratic setup where consumer has some rights. i think all this needs to be highlighted at ministry and media level and the recordings and chronology of such consumer un-friendly service and behaviour needs to be sent to media next time.
